Where does one start, when working with an amazing HVAC company Victor was the point person to come over and get us an estimate on the cost of a brand new air-conditioning and a Home that is almost 70 years old. He checked under the house into the vents, took pictures. The team of Goldbaums, started at 7 o'clock and completed around 1 o'clock. This team works so well together. Everything was covered when the work was being The lead person kept on checking to see how my mom was doing with the new air conditioning and all the work. The workmanship is outstanding. The service of this company is outstanding. I cannot say anything wrong about this company. If you want a company that stands by their word this is the company. If you want a company that works together so well this is your company. The best part of it they cleaned up after they left. Thank you team for making this and a very easy process. read more

LIFE SAVERS!!! Upfront and straightforward. From the moment I first called Goldbaums Air Conditioning & Heating I had the best service. I spoke with Barbara and I let her know my situation that I had two mini split units that needed a deep cleaning ASAP because I noticed mold was inside the units. Barbara confirmed with the technician and was able to set up appointment for same day with a small waiting window from 2pm-4pm! Other companies were giving me long waiting windows on when they might show up. I also love that she was able to give me an upfront price on servicing my two units!! Daniel and Eric were the two technicians that came out to service my units. Daniel was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I explained the situation with the units and he was confident that he would fix the situation. Before he started, he let me know what he was going to do to deep clean the units and remove the mold and gave me another option just in case it didn't work. His confidence put me at ease as I was stressing so much about this mold situation. Daniel and Eric were very professional and we were able to get the job done and had my units looking brand new! They made sure there was no mess left behind and the areas that they serviced were clean. They showed up on time and actually a couple minutes early, which was a great surprise. I appreciate that they wore shoe coverings when working inside my house. I didn't even have to tell them or ask them. They already had the coverings and put them on before they even walked in. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend to anyone needing service! Thank you for all your help and taking care of this stressful situation! read more

Before entering the house they put on booties( impressive), they quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it within 10 minutes!! They suggested in the near future I replace the motor, no high pressure sales !! I will definitely use Goldbaum in the future and refer them to everyone!! read more

I'm pretty happy with them. They installed central air at my house and were able to finish within the expected timeframe. They were very organized and cleaned up after themselves. They even told me about a government rebate program that could help me get some money back, which I didn't know about. My only minor complaint was their recently added AI answering service, which was slow and confusing. The AI told me I was scheduled for service, but I never received a call from them. I had to call back and schedule it again. Luckily, they seem to have realized that their customers didn't care for the AI answering service, and they removed it. Overall, I'm happy with the service I received. read more

Grateful for the service. Fast response. Confirms the date and time he will come and is on time. Pricing was definitely A++++++++++ very reasonable. I appreciate it. It cost me $94 to switch my thermostat from an old honeywell to a new google nest. Technician that came gave insight on how to control top and bottom floors (buy buying another device). But I think I'm okay with the way it is. I would call back for all other HVAC repairs or maintenance. Thank you so much for making this experience PERFECT. read more

Air conditioning went down with high heat and humidity so everyone was busy. Initially, the only company I could get for a service call was Service champions which quoted me $6550 ($4912 with signing up for their service policy) for repair and $17,500 for a new unit. I called Goldbaums which were booked but had just had a cancellation for the next day. Total repair cost including service call was $245 and it is working great. One part was bad. Will definitely use their in the future. read more

We had an excellent experience with Goldbaum air conditioning and are very happy with the work they performed. They installed a new heat pump HVAC system in our home, along with full attic ducting and new insulation, and handled everything professionally from start to finish. Victor Jr. did a great job representing Goldbaum Plumbing. He clearly explained our options, answered all our questions, and made sure we understood the system, installation process, and quote. The installation team was professional, respectful, and efficient. They took great care of our home and completed the work with excellent quality and attention to detail. We are extremely pleased with our new HVAC system and the results. We would highly recommend Goldbaum Plumbing to anyone looking for a new HVAC system or related home improvements. read more

I had received an outrageous quote from METZ A/C so I called Goldbaums and gave them the list of problems METZ said I needed fixed. The technician, Daniel, ran all the checks and found that my A/C is just fine, all the "problems" were non-existent. Goldbaums is a honest business. The technician showed up on time, he was professional and hard working. I definitely will use this company again for my HVAC needs. read more

My whole house fan stopped working a couple months ago, and it was surprisingly hard to find someone to fix it. I called two HVAC companies and both told me they don't work on whole house fans. Another company (AllPro) gave me a quote of $650, which felt pretty high. So I posted my project on Yelp and Goldbaums responded quickly. They sent someone the very next day to take a look and give me a quote. They needed to order a new switch and they came back the following week to complete the repair. The repair was quick, took less than 30 minutes. My whole house fan is now working perfectly. The price was honestly the best part. While AllPro quoted $650, Goldbaums got the job done for just $150. Huge difference. I'd definitely use them again and highly recommend them! read more

I'm so lucky to have found this company on Yelp! They are very efficient and answer the phone right away. Over the past 3 years, my central heating has been slow to start. And this fall, it wasn't turning on at all. I contacted Goldbaums's after I had two unsatisfactory experiences with one A/C & Heating company (very popular) in Whittier and a general handyman. Neither of the two could fix the issues. In fact, the first company upsold me on something else. I was skeptical, thinking no one would be able to figure out the issues. Thankfully, I was proven wrong. When I contacted Goldbaum's, I was offered an appointment very quickly. Daniel came out and figured out that my heating flap vent (not the technical term) wasn't opening and needed to be replaced. That's it. He had my heater working, and it's been a few weeks now, and I can confidently say, it's fixed! I appreciated that Daniel was courteous, honest, and didn't push any other services. Daniel was knowledgeable about the Nest I have with my central a/c and heating, and was overall pleasant. I will be contacting Goldbaum's to schedule maintenance and cleaning of my central a/c unit. Thank you, Goldbaums! read more

We accidentally cut a wire on our AC unit outside and called Goldbaum's. The lady I spoke to on the phone was really nice and helpful and was able to fit us in the next day. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Ac repair or service. read more

OK, so I had a simple enough job to do but I don't have the DIY in me. I set up the Yelp "create a project" to relocate the house thermometer. I need the wall space. Victor at Goldbaums Air Conditioning & Heating came back right away "Here's my estimate and I can be there tomorrow." Boom, set the job up on Monday, Omar & Nathan were there Tuesday right on time. They knocked this out in no time. Great price, great work, very clean and neat (they had to cut out a piece of drywall to drill through to move the thermo wiring and they didn't leave a speck). Just what I wanted, just like I asked. 10 out of 10 read more

Victor & his team are kind, prompt, professional and incredibly fast. Their pricing was fair and I am beyond pleased with how the new HVAC system turned out. Our animal rescue needed serious help with the air conditioner. It was so difficult to even get to the filter to change it. Eric and Daniel came and saved us! The HVAC system at one of my rental properties recently reached the end of its useful life and stopped functioning. Victor responded quickly to diagnose the issue and took the time to explain the situation to my tenants in detail. He even put a temporary measure in place to provide some immediate relief while we scheduled the full replacement. Throughout the process, communication with both myself and the tenants was seamless. The pricing was very competitive compared to other companies I've used in the past. My tenants are extremely happy with the new unit and the professionalism of Victor's crew during the install. OMG the best AC guys ever. Dont let their young age fool you, they are the best, and polite and fairly priced. I wouldn't use anyone else.

These guys are the real deal. I called and made an appointment next day. I spoke directly with victor who is the owner. Very nice guy. Came out on time. Diagnosed my problem immediately and offered repair. He did not even try to upsell me on a new system but I knew my system was old (21 years). I asked him about a replacement, he got back to me either same day or next day. Prices were very fair. I didn't even bother to haggle. In fact I went with a higher model. I messaged them quite a bit with questions, always quick to respond via text. They scheduled me about a week out. Victor his son and his team Showed up on time and finished in 1 day. I only wish they offered more services like plumbing because they are easy to work with. read more

When my heater stopped blowing heat, I contacted "Wintri" and their service guy first insulted me by saying only people in mobile homes would have a system like I had, then told me I needed a new heater system at a cost of 7K, he then said I could just get a new motherboard, at a cost of $1,600. I was skeptical... So I called Goldbaums. The repairman came out and in a couple minutes solved the issue by noticing that a rat had chewed up a pressure hose to the motor, he fixed it and now I have heat again. True pro! Highly recommended. Very happy new customer here! So, I was very anxious about selecting an HVAC vendor for my parents' home. I was looking to replace four very old mini-splits with either central AC or a new ductless system. Both of my parents recently passed away, and this was the first big change I was making to their house, so I wanted a vendor who would treat the space with care and do great work. I was very impressed with Goldbaum from the start. Victor Goldbaum Jr. arrived EXACTLY on-time to tour my home and give me a quote. He was friendly and very courteous, even wearing shoe covers when he came inside. He explained my options clearly and didn't pressure me. It turned out that the house doesn't have enough attic space to install a central (duct) system. A new ductless system was my best choice. So the next day, he emailed me a quote to install a new system with six units and two condensers. I got three quotes total. Goldbaum's was in the middle with pricing. I had one quote that was about $5K less and one quote that was $10K more! I considered going with the cheaper vendor, but I was really impressed by Victor's knowledge and reliability, so I chose Goldbaum. He scheduled the job for the next week and said it would take three days. In fact, he finished it in just two days, ahead of schedule! He brought a big crew, and they worked hard, and he personally was there overseeing the work both days. There was only one unexpected issue with the installation (the copper lines from my old system needed to be replaced). This raised the price a bit, but Victor explained why it was necessary, and it made sense, given that the old lines were over 25 years old. I am SO happy with the result! The new system (Dyken) is SO quiet, and Goldbaum made all the needed changes to my electrical panel and installed drains. Victor even stayed late to explain how to operate the new system and to ensure I was happy. His crew patched the walls, too! Many HVAC companies won't do that, and then you have to hire a handyman separately. Honestly, they left my place so spotless that you wouldn't even know I had any work done. My home is now cool, comfortable, and summer-ready (and the units also provide heat for the winter!). If you're an anxious consumer (like I am) looking to repair or replace your HVAC system, I highly recommend placing your trust in Goldbaum. I'm so glad I did! read more
