Highly recommend Wintri! Our AC had stopped working because the condensate drain line was clogged, and Jay had come out and quickly diagnosed the issue, cleared the blockage, and got everything working again VERY quickly. He also installed a new cleanout/access valve on the condensate line, which should make future maintenance much easier. What impressed me most was that he went the extra mile and checked the entire drainage setup. He noticed dark buildup inside the small tubing near our sink, removed and thoroughly cleaned it, and then reconnected the tubing much more efficiently. The previous setup had excess tubing that was bending/kinking, which may have contributed to the drainage problem. Jay took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and he was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire visit. Jay came out first thing this morning and I happened to be his first appointment of the day. From the minute he got here, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took his time explaining what was going on with my AC. He replaced my filters, walked me through what caused the problem, and gave me some helpful advice (and a little lecture ) about maintenance and things I can do differently to help my system last longer. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He explained that he can get my AC fixed and running today, but because of the age and condition of the system, it would probably make more sense financially to start thinking about replacing it rather than continuing to put money into repairs. With three kids at home and this heat, getting our AC back up and running today was definitely important! Jay was kind, patient, never pushy, and made sure I understood all of my options. I used yelp to help me find a HVAC company as my a/c unit stopped working and David replied very quickly with times available for the next day (as it was 10pm at night) and set up a time frame that worked for me. The next day Jay and Jayden came right at the beginning of the time frame gand were able to figure out the problem within 30mins. They gave me a quote and got to work straight away when I approved it! They both were very friendly and professional and I appreciated how they had their own indoor booties/shoes in which they put on whenever they came into the house and took off once they had to go outside which was multiple times. Our AC was making a loud rattling and vibrating noise. This was quite annoying as this started late at night. In the morning we called Wintri and Jay was sent to determine what the problem was. Wintry was quick to respond and offered a fair quote for my repair. the main issue i had was the furnace overheating and shutting itself off, a warranty part was replaced and things got better but the system kept pushing cold air after 30 min. after a couple more visits, the focus was constantly on my thermostat settings (i have three zones) and the culprit was that i was over working my heater (heat set to 70). i gave up after wintri stopped responding to my help messages and got a second opinion where the new company tech found that some insulation had come loose in the furnace and blocking the air intake. all i had to do was glue it back up and i've been working since. read more
