Little gem spot offering breakfast. Plus, they were able to accommodate my plant-strong request! Win-Win!

Healthy eating and helping people. If you buy a meal, they'll donate a meal. That resonates into my core; this is true hospitality and compassion. A deli/kitchen that serves fresh ingredients, carefully and intentionally designed to hit your palate in multiple places while leaving you feeling good about yourself in both a health and ethical mindset. I landed at the airport and this was the first meal off the plane: Turkey Club and a Pear and Walnut salad... Ohh boy!! the sandwich was made with soft and delicate bread that was the perfect thickness to keep this bad boy together, but not too thick where it felt hard or overbearing to the meal. The turkey tasted freshly carved and the bacon was rendered perfectly. The aoili really blew this dish away: savory, creamy, and the best compliment to the crisp vegetables, hearty meat, and savory bacon. The Pear and walnut salad was so fresh and a generous portion for only being a 1/2 size! The dressing was light, zingy, and really brought this fresh dish to another level. I'm a salad-gal so I recognize and appreciate fresh ingredients that blend well together. This was a well crafted dish, I only wish I ordered it in a full size!! I'm currently sitting in the Seattle Airport heading home, but it was a MUST that I stop here to grab food to eat while I wait for my plane. I'm about to devour a 1/2 Garden & Goat sandwich (vegetarian) and 1/2 Spicy Italian Sandwich. They let you customize your plate so you can try multiple things!!! So perfect for a person like me who can't make up their mind!! Honestly, screw airport food - support local and bring it with you! (keeping in mind TSA requirements for liquids) This was my first AND last meal in Seattle :) Did I mention this is a family-owned business? A truly lovely husband and wife own this business and are genuinely passionate about sharing their food with the customers and those neighbors-in-need. they do a lot of work to support their community so I highly recommend you check out their social media and support them with your business, volunteer work, or even sharing their posts!

What a great cafe! I really loved the food and vibe. It takes a while to get your food order because everything is cooked fresh - definitely suggest ordering online before heading there if you're on a time crunch. I had the hot turkey sandwich and it was amazing! And the cookie - so delicious! I look forward to the next time I get to eat here.

Ok to be honest, the first time I came to Conscious Eatery I got the Italian sandwich and it was quite good, but didn't knock my socks off. The second time, I got the Turkey Club...and I've now been barefoot for a week. You don't often see the words "spectacular" and "turkey club" in the same sentence, but you just did...and I mean it. Man, that was one VERY good sandwich. The bread was ultra soft and fresh with great crust and lots of real sourdough flavor...definitely baked that day. The turkey was like the best thanksgiving leftovers you've ever had, perfectly roasted and moist, not at all dry, and with some skin(!). Y'all sure know how to speak my love language. The bacon was also plenty crisp (a rarity in sandwichdom) and came in abundance, but everything was in balance. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. And the rosemary aioli brought everything together and tied a nice herbaceous bow on top. The folks behind the counter are always super friendly, but you can also order by QR code if you've fully embraced our robot overlords. They have self-serve caraffes of water and offer Miss Vickie's chips (yes, they are Lays, but they're still good - jalapeño for me please). If you're looking for lunch in the area, get over here. I'll be the guy inside devouring another turkey club.

Never underestimate the power of a good soup or sandwich :) They catered one of the events I attended! I tried a bunch of sandwiches like the tuna melt, turkey pesto melt, and grilled cheese. I also tried their loaded potato soup and tomato soup. The loaded potato soup was rich and insane, and the grilled cheese had this incredible parmesan crust on the outside. The bread and filling ingredients are all fresh and high quality, and everything has a homemade taste. Everything was packaged so nicely too!

This is stupid. You're telling me, I have lived 24 years on this earth to not know how incredibly fantastic and bursting with flavor something as simple as a grilled cheese can be? I'm in awe. I'm at a total loss for words. Oh and the tomato soup . I looked like a total degenerate consuming that sandwich. The sandwich itself is amazing, when matched with that soup. I swear this is how babies are made or some shit, it's gotta be a similar feeling. Absolutely f****** banger spot 10/10, I literally can't think of a single improvement you could've made to that sandwich. Thank you. You have no ruined grilled cheese for me because if I'm ever not around nothing will come close to this. (Ordered the Fuego grilled cheese with ham and tomato soup)

Pancakes (with blueberry compote and syrup) and the Goat Horn (egg, cheddar, peppers and arugula).

The goal is to fed Seattle's homeless and underserved population, what could possibly be better then that? I mean for a restaurant to care for a better future- How wonderful! They've already donated nearly 90,000 meals. The prices are super reasonable. We ate breakfast on less than $25 which is incredible for the area. The food tasted fresh and was locally sourced. This is a hidden gem that more people need to support. The menu is small but packs a punch. They do breakfast and lunch. Hours are limited 9-2 M-F, but it's worth stopping by on your lunch hour. The servers were fast and friendly. They have Aloha cards where you can write positive, anonymous messages and they mail them out on their own dime and time. I thought this was a fun addition to our outing. Parking was easy too!

We got the fuego grilled cheese and beet salad. Everything is made fresh to order! Plenty of seating inside and easy free street parking (they might have had a small parking lot too). The salad had plenty of toppings and really flavorful dressing. The grilled cheese was perfectly gooey and crispy!

The Taylor Street was mediocre--the cold cuts were whatever and it needed some sort of zing. For sides, the green salad with bleu cheese dressing was outstanding, thanks to the house-made dressing, but the chips and salsa were lackluster due to the stale chips. The salsa was good. Service was top notch--attentive, friendly, and timely. Ambience: I like old buildings, so this was right up my alley. The restaurant was clean and had an upbeat vibe. Amazing price, generous portion, excellent quality. Unagyu don (4/5) This bowl has a mix of tender beef and eel and it's quite heavy on the sauce. I wouldn't say it's very salty but it is saucy and you need to mix it with the rice properly to balance it out. The portion is generous and it is very filling. Not bad but I'd go for the chirashi every time.

If you're a fan of Red Bowl in Financial District, this place has a similar vibe with its approach to rice bowls. Having been here twice on different weeks, I think this will become one of my go-to places in the area when I'm craving fresh seafood on a weekend south of downtown. LOGISTICS Parking is convenient for Georgetown area, given they have a dedicated lot for customers of businesses in the area. Entering in, you order through the kiosk and if you're dining in, you can seat yourself and they'll bring the order to you. The space is small for larger groups but if you're 4 people or less, generally there are tables available on off peak hours (at least what we observed Sat/Sun). Ordering happens at the kiosk, which you can choose for takeout or to dine in. Keep in mind there are some items available for dine-in only (ex. udon or seared salmon bowls), but if you plan on doing takeout anyways you can order online or call ahead for pickup. Note - they do close at 2:30 pm but re-open at 4:30 pm. So long as you get your order in by 2:30 pm they'll still service you... which was nice since the last two times we came in around 2:00 PM. FOOD First off, they have nice nice presentation both in how the food is arranged and the bowls they use when dining in. From the ceramic/decorative bowls to the trays they use... it's the little things that add to the dining experience and make you think a business cares about its food. (Note: there was one time we had initially ordered togo but decided to eat in person; so they kept the food in plastic bowls for one of my photos.) In every bowl we had during our two visits, the rice was excellent! We've had some terrible rice at other donburi places before where it can be too overcooked or too mushy. Fortunately their seasoned rice was a good texture and tasty to eat on its own. The seafood was also excellent for the price / quality - fresh tasting with a melt-in-your mouth texture. Volcano Bowl: Spicy salmon + spicy crab salad w/ masago - despite the description it wasn't too spicy (siracha mayo) but it went really well with the rice, like a deconstructed sushi roll. I liked mixing in some wasabi to give it a stronger kick. Aburi Sake Bowl (seared salmon bowl): This is only available to order for dine-in; if you love salmon... I would recommend this one. Seared salmon is delicious seafood umami. I liked how the salmon had the right amount of fattiness too. Chirashi Bowl: If you like variety, then this is an excellent bowl to try a little bit of everything. I was amused that they also included unagi (I don't think I see that in most chirashi bowls). Even the shrimp, which is usually my least favorite part of chirashi bowls, tasted good with a slight sweetness. OVERALL Awesome place and a good location for the area given there's parking available. Price was just right for the quality (I'm amused how much cheaper good seafood is here in Seattle compared to the Bay Area) and the staff were really friendly. There are also two excellent bouldering gyms nearby (Castle Climbing Club and Momentum)... so if you're looking to recharge after a climbing session, I would highly recommend coming here!

That was totally not the case, so we had the inside to ourselves until about an hour later when seats started to fill up. Big reason why they were so full with eye-popping wait times back then? Not many seats for 2-4 people, and about 10 seats at the bar, all in a cramped yet oddly cozy interior. Their menu has changed mostly in naming from the last time I was here back in 2024, but everything I've had here thus far has still remained. One of those dishes is their kewpie burger with truffle fries, which they added a "da kids" prefix at the beginning which made me think that it was a kid's meal. If anything, the size of the kewpie burger and fries is rather small even when you add another patty onto it for extra. The burger is essentially a smash burger but it's so tasty that you forget it's a kid's size meal! The extra truffle taste on the fries makes it all the better too. Better yet, we all got this too, though only one of us opted for a single patty instead. It's not a complete 5-star experience because of the relatively hefty pricing overall for pretty much everything on their menu. My friends were ecstatic to finally try here after wanting to for so long and they too were very happy with the quality of our kewpie burgers. I can see why people still come here after so long, and we'd be back for their other stuff!
