Austin's Furniture depot is located on Burnet Road and offers a unique mix of new furniture, statement pieces, and items from local artists. This is not your typical furniture store. Surprisingly, the Austin signs are quite affordable. I asked Shawn one of the store managers, what do folks do with all these signs. He responded by saying the put them in their homes and businesses. One of the eye-catching items in the addition to the signage, are the abstract and unusual artwork covered in shiny glass. I love abstract anything, therefore, I was very intrigued. They also had some individuals featured in the pictures with bold and colorful features. Shawn was friendly, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Horrible Customer Service…read more My family and I have purchased thousands of dollars of furniture with this company and you would think they would be happy and quick to address any concerns we have. I purchased a King sized bed and when I took my bed home to put it together I noticed one of the slacks were shorter than the others and couldn't reach the hole on the other side of the bed. I called multiple times and it took them over 2 months to get me a replacement slack. When I picked up the new slack, it was the same as the slack that was too short. So I called back to get help and they are asking me to take pictures up close and far away of the slacks and email them as if I'm asking them for an entirely new bed. I'm asking for just 1 slack to be replaced and they are making me jump through hoops to get that. I will honestly say they have good prices on their furniture, but their service is terrible.

Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. The sales representative shared her knowledge of what was going to be included in the sale, although her knowledge was limited. The furniture ranges from low to medium price range.

Communication around delivery and customer service was poor throughout my experience. The day they delivered my new washer and dryer, I discovered the dryer would only turn on intermittently. They seems frustrated when I contacted them and said "it worked when we delivered it." The technician later confirmed it needed a new part in order to fix it. I then requested a new dryer be delivered. They had very poor communication with scheduling delivery time window. Texts and phone calls were not returned promptly causing much frustration and inconvenience. When they delivered the new dryer, I discovered the lint filter was dirty and had to call them again to express my frustration that they replaced the first dryer with a USED dryer. That same day, the washing machine started making a horribly loud noise mid cycle. I ended up returning both appliances to this place and my experience purchasing new appliances at Costco was outstanding. My experience with Appliances House was not good, and I would not trust them when they say they are selling "new" scratch and dent appliances.
