Four Hands Outlet is right next door to my gym. I have passed by this furniture store a thousands times and never ventured in. At least a couple of times throughout the year this furniture store has a tent sale. I may glance into the tent if the furniture is clear visible. In full transparency, I did not know what the durability or longevity of furniture would be purchased at outlet. For clothing at an outlet, the hem could be off, button missing or another small imperfection. One would expect furniture to be durable and long lasting. Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. For an outlet, I thought the prices were pretty high. Not a big selection, of what we were looking for.

It's a pleasant surprise to find a mid-tier furniture store with an outlet in Austin. Deals are hard to come by in this city for this level of quality furniture. Most of these deals are 50% or so off. I've found some pieces that was worth a look at 90%. Stack these with sales (most recently pre-Xmas at 25% off) and some of these will look mighty attractive to those wanting to furnish at a time when furniture orders are being delayed for months across the country. The selection is quite wide but expect to find dinks and damages on many of the items (hence the discount). I don't think it's a big deal because furniture gets easily damaged anyway so I think it is worth your time to visit this store frequently to find the right deal if you are a fan of this style. read more

Very disappointed about costumer care about two years ago got a coupe of bedrooms set they came set them up fine. two years latter have to move . and i find out that went they set them up they damage the bolts for both sets . I call customer care and see if they can replace the bolts and they say since there have been two years since the purchase they were going to charge me for the bolts unbelievable after spending $2500 . never buy from them again . I love this place - you get a great deal for high quality, designer furniture at a decent price. The items come from their main showroom/store and could be a bit dirty or damaged because they were on the floor or through transport, but sometimes you can't even tell there is any damage at all. Thoroughly inspect your items before purchasing! We've saved so much money furnishing our new place here! We were able to pick up that giant reading chair I've always wanted, an outdoor patio set, some oversized outdoor patio chairs and a patio dining table! I love the modern design of the furniture here - we frequent the outlet and the main store. Most of our furniture is from Four Hands, and we specifically make the drive from Houston to check them out and rent a UHAUL to drive everything back! So worth it! You never know what they'll have cause the turnover is so quick - we literally walked in and when we left, a bunch of items were already gone and sold within the hour. The staff is super friendly, shout out to Lisa and the loading dock staff! They took care of us well! Lisa helped me over the phone and went to take photos of items in store when I told her what we were looking for. She sold me a chair via the phone cause they can't place items on hold! The loading dock staff helped us pull everything from the floor and jig saw it into the UHAUL cause we didn't expect to buy so much! Literally ended up filling a UHAUL (the largest one) and having to tie a chair on top of it! Can't wait to move in so we can use all this comfy amazing furniture! Four Hands outlet has an odd mix of furniture for sale. Even during COVID-19 turnover of furniture seems to be fairly quick. But the pricing is far too high for what is offered at the outlet. For example I noticed stained and soiled couches for sale basically at retail prices. read more

I went in to see what they had and was horrified at the prices they are asking for anything! Even the artwork is way overpriced. I guess there are suckers born everyday but I have been looking at both new and used for last three months and finally got some beautiful items from It's New to Me at a fraction of what a couch alone would have charged at Four Hands. It's also like a warehouse, dusty, dirty, too packed with furniture. The sales people were poliite. To be noted; Yelp for unknown reasons, publishes all raving, positive reviews, so go into the ones at the end, which are all the negative reviews and get the whole story. I guess you can't trust anyone/website to be totally honest. Don't be fooled into all those complimentary reviews. Go in and see for yourself if you don't believe me. Take your business across the street near Taco Bell called "It's New to Me". They carry only quality, high-end furniture sold as coinsignment, some from model homes. read more

There are amazing finds here! Things go quickly and the inventory is always changing so if you have something in mind you should visit often. The employees are super nice and friendly. They have sales on top of the already sale prices at certain times as well. You must haul the stuff yourself though. They have recommended services though. read more

We bought a "Caminito" queen size bed frame here. It was on sale for $413.14. That includes tax. Delivery by a service called Pickup Now was $100. I've seen the bed online go from $1136 to $1320. The thing to know is that furniture is the highest marked up commodity in the US. You can bargain with stores. Too afraid to bring it up? At Louis Shanks, I really wanted this sleigh bed for my daughter. When the lady showed it to me, I told her I was only planning on spending a certain amount (I don't remember the numbers). She immediately said that they could meet my budget. I think Four Hands might be hit and miss. You might go in there one day and not find anything you like. I am a big fan of this brand and have been scouring the outlet to pick up pieces here and there. I understand that these are outlet seconds but I was annoyed when the guys loaded my dining table onto my trailer, and then slammed the trailer ramp gate and chipped the table. They said nothing because I'm sure they are trained to have no liability but I wish that they let me close it myself or were gentle about that. The sales people are helpful and will text you photos of available pieces- but be sure to call and ask that they confirm drawers are working or that there are no major scratches to save yourself the trip when you live 1.5 hours away. read more

This is a great place to find quality furniture at a bargain price, and the staff is extremely helpful. Pro tip - call ahead and see when their delivery is going to be, and try to come in shortly after a delivery so you have the largest possible selection. Once we made our decision, Michelle made sure to secure our pick while we looked around at a few other things. While they don't do delivery, then can recommend some local delivery businesses and get a quote. She even called the delivery guys for us! Consignment stores and outlets tend to run either hot or cold either having very nice, very expensive furniture, or, such a collection of junk you wonder if it was picked up curb-surfing in West Campus. Four Hands finds that little sweet spot right in the middle. Easy to get to right off Andersen, the first thing you notice when you enter is its pretty darn organized. I realize some people like to go to those places where everything is in a jumble so its a little more like a treasure-hunt, but when I need a stool I want to go where the stools are, or if I'm seeking a comfy chair for the living room I want to see them all together so I can compare. Four Hands makes that easy. Another nice thing is that the tables and hutches, etc., actually have the measurements on the price tags so if you're trying to decide if your new piece will fit in that tiny corner in your bedroom they've got you covered (as long as you measured your own space at home!) Finally, even on a quiet Sunday opening (noon) they had several people ready to help but unlike new furniture stores where sales people tend to hover over you, these people were actually nice and friendly and said hello and just let me browse. I like that. Taste? Well, taste is such a personal thing, but I did feel like most of the pieces here were high quality and certainly a good style they could fit in many interiors. Skip the RH Outlet and go to the The Four Hands Home Outlet!  They have more furniture, better quality, condition and significantly better prices. Plus multiple deliveries a week. It is also the current Four Hands season as well. Michelle at the outlet store will take great care of you. If you want to be really organized and need to fully furnish a room or two, I'd recommend checking out the Four Hands website or main Woodward St store to create a wish list. Then head to the Outlet store on Wednesdays and Fridays with your list in hand. They get multiple trailers in a week so there is always furniture coming in and the stuff goes fast, so you have to be on it and multiple trips will most probably be required.  It is worth it though for the savings. Finally, work with Michelle at the Outlet store, she is fantastic, works insanely hard and genuinely cares about helping you get what you want.  She can let you know if any of your items will be inbound on any future trailers and give you a shout when they come in. They do not do delivery but can organize it for you. We scored some great pieces thanks to Michelle's help...thank you!!! read more

Super fantisimo. Anthony is cool. Style and quality is cool. Prices are sub arctic. The Bina line with recycled materials is Eco-industrial cool. What you won't be able to find here: Cloyingly "helpful" sales droids. Fancy settings (it's a warehouse) Sales, specials, promotions and other craptasticly annoying gimmicks. It's won the top spot in my "furniture Armageddon" competition to completely outfit my new house. Pic of my chill new black with gator skin dining room chairs included. Good news to update my previous review, Four Hands Furniture is open 7 days a week now. 10am - 6pm Monday thru Saturday, and 11am - 5pm on Sundays. Plus, I have to say I love that Four Hands has a sticker on their door supporting Yelp. Also, the employees are always friendly here and seem to be doing whatever they can to get feedback to improve the store. 3.5 stars! This place is fun to browse and they have a lot of beautiful, unique pieces. Even though this is an outlet, the prices are still a little high for what I'm willing to spend. BUT, they often have sales that make it a lot more affordable and you can find some pretty awesome deals! We recently bought a home and we're first time homeowners (meaning we're clueless with home stuff). We came here to look to replace some light fixtures. We got two that were pretty decently priced and the staff was great in wrapping and packing it up for us. One of the light fixtures was a hanging glass light pendant, and a couple of the screws that held the glass to the main pendant were loose and wouldn't tighten. I asked the staff and the sales lady had one of her guys in the back check it out to see if it could be fixed, and the guy explained that it was purposefully loose because if it was too tight it would crack the glass. I cluelessly believed him and took the pendant home. When it came to hanging our pendant, low and behold, it hung crooked because of those loose screws!! This place is final sale, so we couldn't take it back. Now we have a crooked glass pendant over our kitchen table. I've tried everything to help straighten it, even our handyman couldn't figure it out. Sooooo just beware that maybe some of these items are discounted because they're faulty in some way. Despite this, we did have good service here but I was disappointed with my purchase and felt a little misled. read more

We just completed a renovation and went to Four Hands Home Outlet. The pieces are just as amazing as their store, but the outlet has AMAZING prices and a staff just as helpful and accommodating as the store. Um, hello! I don't know why I hadn't heard of the Four Hands Home Outlet sooner, but I'm so glad to know about it as I'm moving into a new house. Four Hands is high end furniture that is still out of my price range, but this outlet makes it accessible. Their items are still expensive, but they're marked way down. Personally, I was impressed with the markdowns. I was also impressed with the quality; the furniture in general, but also that even though this is an outlet every piece wasn't totally banged up like they are at some outlets. There is a lot of art too. If you have some pieces you need, I would recommend checking it out every now and then until a gem pops up that is perfect for your space. read more
