Our suite sits outside under a pergola, fully exposed to all the elements. They had been cleaned by the wonderful Ms Suzie, but they are grotty, green pollen stained, a little hole here and there. I started my search last spring, bogged down by C19 availability, difficult communications.. etc. One of my chairs had a bent rocker arm and leg, don't know how that happened. But, here is where paying for quality pays off. Winston Patio were great and actually replaced the arm for nothing... in fact they ended up sending me several arms, just in case. Anyway, I eventually reached back out to Backyard, formerly Outside In Style, to check on availability of cushions. Surprisingly, Jamie our original sales rep replied quickly and we began getting this together. 8 Cushions and $2700 later, we ordered them. On July 29th. They arrived yesterday and got the call. During this time I had reached out to Jamie to check status and she always replied promptly and on point. The location is convenient for us, just off of 71, well marked. Massive show room with all kinds of stuff. The gentlemen who helped us load the cushions was extremely nice and helpful and even helped me troubleshoot the bent leg and fix. I would imagine you could find less expensive stuff at the big box stores, however, I would find it hard to believe the furniture would still be in as good nick as our Winston's have faired over the past 7yrs. We picked up covers this time around, which I would imagine will keep the cushions like new much longer. Job done Backyard... we will be back, for some reason Suzie wants me to buy an outdoor grill... oh boy.

I tried several mattresses and was shown an adjustable bed frame. the frame I was shown not only was adjustable, but had a massage function and other features. I decided not to purchase those items at that time. the salesperson then told me if I purchased the mattress he would give the bed frame at no charge. I agreed. When the adjustable frame was delivered, it had no massage function or the other extra features I had been shown. I feel I was mislead. Unfortunately as an elderly person, i do believe I was taken advantage of. Bottom line, Just be aware before you make a purchase in the mattress area. Ask a lot of questions. By the way, I also purchased a sofa--so far so good. Another thing that bothered me about dealing with Ashley Furniture, I wanted to pay "cash", but I was told I had to open an account--go figure!

In fact, all their Austin signs and Keep Austin Weird signs were a draw to venture into the store. Austin's Furniture depot is located on Burnet Road and offers a unique mix of new furniture, statement pieces, and items from local artists. This is not your typical furniture store. Surprisingly, the Austin signs are quite affordable. I asked Shawn one of the store managers, what do folks do with all these signs. He responded by saying the put them in their homes and businesses. One of the eye-catching items in the addition to the signage, are the abstract and unusual artwork covered in shiny glass. I love abstract anything, therefore, I was very intrigued. They also had some individuals featured in the pictures with bold and colorful features. Shawn was friendly, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. He asked what I was looking for and took time to point out some potential selections. It was an overall very engaging and pleasant visit. Will definitely drop in again...

In full transparency, I did not know what the durability or longevity of furniture would be purchased at outlet. For clothing at an outlet, the hem could be off, button missing or another small imperfection. One would expect furniture to be durable and long lasting. Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. The sales representative shared her knowledge of what was going to be included in the sale, although her knowledge was limited. The furniture ranges from low to medium price range.
