As stated earlier, I cannot recommend this establishment. If you want your home to be defaced during the delivery process, this is your dream company. I've been a customer of Ethan Allen for over a decade, mainly in California, but since most of my experiences have been positive I decided to go to Ethan Allen in Austin for a somewhat complicated window covering solution. Since my master bedroom faces east, I get direct sun in the morning and needed blackout drapes. Also, I wanted some privacy during the day while still allowing natural light in. And lastly, I had used Ethan Allen for my window coverings in my master bedroom in California and wanted to try and match that fabric. I worked with one of the designers, Victoria, and she not only came up with a unique solution, but was able to come very close to the same fabric I had used back in California. I now have remotely controlled blackout drapes that I can open or close while still in bed, along with unique "roll up" Hunter Douglas shades that give me privacy from the homes down below me. Along the way, we visited two Ethan Allen stores, each in a different state, as we hunted for our second home furniture. The service was first class. The sales agents worked patiently and creatively with us as we zeroed in on our choices. One salesperson even drove a showroom chair to our country home so we could view it in on site. Kudos to Ewa Rosander in NYC and Heather Gordon-Reznar in Hyannis for helping us to design and problem solve. Ethan Allen products are 80% made in America in their own factories. The quality and available selections are excellent. When you begin your search for new furniture, you will be well served to visit an Ethan Allen store. read more

Disclaimer: after much deliberation, we ended up not purchasing from here as we found a killer deal on a floor model at another store. Up until then, we had fully intended on purchasing a custom built sectional from Ethan Allen. The store is lovely and you can tell the furniture is solid and heavy high quality stuff that is going to last many years. We went to over a dozen furniture store in Austin over the course of a month, ranging from crate and barrel to Ashley to Restoration Hardware, Room and Board, Joybird, Arhaus and many others. Ethan Allen stood out for us due to the fantastic experience we had with Lori, one of the designers. Lori listened attentively to our needs and requirements and was solution oriented and super helpful. Whereas at other stores sales people/designers were pushy, Lori was knowledgeable, agreeable, kind and non-aggressive. We felt taken care of but she left us our space to discuss and checkout the sectional we were considering. She spent a lot of time with us picking out fabrics, talking about the pros and cons of each, and even came to our home with larger swatches so we could see the fabrics in our lighting. She was super gracious and sweet when our overprotective dog kept barking at her the entire time (our fault, we haven't had anyone to the house in the past two years due to Covid so he's not used to strangers). She laughed and fed him cheese and was super patient throughout. We were so delighted with Lori and how she went above and beyond for us that we actually felt really guilty when we suddenly decided to go with a floor model at a hell of a discount at another store. My Ethan Allen experience warrants me sharing my consumer experience. In February of this year we purchased an item for our new house which was scheduled for completion in early summer. The item was paid in full and we were assured, based on our conversations of with Ethan Allen, that prior to our move we would call Ethan Allen and schedule delivery. Well it is now mid August and we still do not have an estimated delivery date. In May our sales rep called and mentioned that the item we had paid for in February was back ordered and we "should receive our order by early July." Recent calls asking for an update yields little information aside from its in a warehouse. read more

My Houston client has been an Ethan Allen fan for a long time. She needed a little guidance and I entered the scene with trepidation. Memories of my grandmother's colonial brass and oak chest of drawers haunted me. I remember a wooden Paul Revere figure lamp that scared me as a child straight from the floor of the San Antonio Ethan Allen. Imagine my surprise when I found fine leather sofas, lovely tables in a variety of finishes and styles, comfy upholstered chairs (select your fabric), gorgeous pillows and a design center operated by trained decorators who are there to provide free consultations. Not my grandmother's E.A. If you have not been in an Ethan Allen Design Center, do not fear. It is lovely. I found the decorator we worked with to be very helpful. She answered my questions and provided useful information on our selections. When a leather sofa was delivered and the cushions were sized incorrectly, she immediately sent a technician to address the problem. New cushions will arrive in two weeks. I think I'm on the decorator's speed dial because she has called numerous times regarding other items that might fit in the client's home. read more

In an effort to invest in quality, I went to the Austin location of Ethan Allen to buy a sofa. This is my long saga that will hopefully serve as a warning to anyone wanting to buy furniture from them. Their furniture may be of high quality, but it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, which was not what I would expect from such a high-end store/brand. I visited the store to see and test the sofas. Lynn Unflat, a designer, showed me the various models. She was knowledgeable about the pros and cons of every feature based on my preferences and needs. She offered to come out to my house to do a complementary space plan and see the room so she could make color recommendations. Wonderful. I recognized it as a sales hook, but I also was pretty sure I was going with them for the sofa (the Retreat), and I did need the help. At the consultation, I made it clear that we only had the budget for a sofa and a rug and weren't interested in any other furniture. We made an appointment for me to come into the store to pick out fabric. At the appointment -- to which I brought my 10 month old baby in his stroller -- I sat down to an entire presentation complete with Lynn's picks for sofa fabric, rug, two side chairs with fabric, ottoman, and accent tables. I didn't like the choices at all but that was fine since I was only buying the sofa. After the pitch she presented me with the way-over-my-stated-budget invoice for all the items she had presented, which I think is pretty ballsy! I reiterated that I was sticking with a sofa for now. With all that time taken up to present unwanted furniture to me, there wasn't much time left for fabric picking before the baby was ready to leave. I live kind of far out of town, didn't think I'd be able to come back any time soon, so I just picked something. Bad move. Still, Lynn had insisted the fabric was two-kid, two-black-dog friendly and would clean up easily. Later I had dissonance with the fabric choice and emailed Lynn to see if I could change it. She said that the fabric was already cut so it was too late, but she thinks it will look good in my space. The sofa arrived about 10 weeks later. The arms were not at all what most track arms look like -- the corner (where your hands lay) are rounded and it looks very 1980s. The other track arm sofas I saw on the Ethan Allen floor were all squared, so I just assumed this model's were the same. But the biggest problem is that the fabric collects dog hair and holds it like velcro, and since it's a light color it looks extra bad. We have had a bedsheet over it since it arrived -- not the look I was hoping for with this pricey piece of furniture. I called hours after it arrived to ask about exchanging it. I am nice to a fault, even timid person, mind you, so it's not as if I was being difficult or mean in the slightest. Dan, the store manager, immediately took a put-upon attitude and was asking me if I couldn't just get used to it. I said that I felt the style and fabric were misrepresented. He said he couldn't promise anything -- for returns they normally charge a restocking fee in the area of 33-35% -- but I should come to the store that weekend and we'd talk about it. I drove into town to the store. Dan made me wait for about 20 minutes. I was expecting a negotiation, but he finally came over to me and asked if I had anything in mind for an exchange. I said I had no idea. I looked around and picked another model. He waved at the fabric room and told me to pick something. OK. I asked him to price a sleeper for me, because I was willing to upgrade to a more expensive option in exchange for them waiving the restocking fee. Dan said he'd see what the owner said and let me know by Monday. OK, great. It took ONE MONTH of me calling and visiting the store, Dan stalling and promising he'd call before I got an answer. It was clear they were just hoping I'd go away. I finally connected with the store owner, who also owns the Houston location. He said "Dan asked me to talk to you about this so that's what I'm doing." I said I was aware of the restocking fee policy but was wondering if something could be worked out, considering that the style and fabric were somewhat misrepresented. I could buy a more expensive model, or perhaps exchange for a floor model or another return. He said, flatly, no. All sales final, I say good day sir. So -- takeaway points -- if you do go there, be aware of their "design consultation"/sales strategy going in so you know to stay focused on making good choices for the nonreturnable piece you do buy. And know that Ethan Allen will not be flexible with "policy" in order to make a customer happy. read more

I gotta say, I was disappointed. This is my first time in an Ethan Allen store, and for whatever reason, I had high expectations for this place. I'm speaking about my own personal taste here, and I didn't see anything but possibly one occasional chair that I thought was nice, ok ok, maybe 2. Now, there's nothing wrong with more traditional furniture, but I found their selection a bit drab. I think I need to go back again and see if that's still how I feel. One thing that bugs me about furniture stores (this is the picky side of me speaking) is the usually tacky, fake plants they put on their tables-every single table, that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. When you have tacky items like that on your otherwise nice table, it makes the table and other items look tacky as well. Get rid of the fake plants with weird stuff sticking out of them! The staff was nice though. If you like traditional, older style home furnishings, you'll like this place. If not, I wouldn't recommend going in here, you more than likely won't find anything you like. read more

I am a big fan of Ethan Allen and shop at the Austin location. As a young professional moving into my first home, I love that they carry styles that range from more traditional to ultra-modern. They really have something for everyone, and I really enjoy mixing more traditional pieces with more modern style items. However, what really stands out to me about Ethan Allen is their expertise and service. The staff is not just a sales team, like many other places. They are actually experienced designers that can guide you in putting something great together. As a man who does not know much about mixing and matching colors, patterns and furniture, this is extremely helpful for me. They honestly helped pick out nearly every item I purchased. They have an awesome touch screen setup that allows you to view and alter pieces of furniture, until you build them just how you want them. Again, extremely helpful for those who are a little designed challenge, like I am. Lastly, they will even come to your home and help you build out your interior design plan from the bottom up. I did not take advantage of this my first time around but will definitely do it next time. read more

I ordered the Dexter coffee table less and although it looks nice the finish is horrendous. Less then one week of having the table there are smudges all over it that will not come out. I never realized you can't let your skin touch the table because the outcome are stained smudges. I called Ethan Allen two weeks after delivery and said they could do nothing. I had the Guardsman protection and they said smudges are not covered. Do not buy from Ethan Allen. read more

Please do not waste your money on Ethan Allen "Guardsman Gold Protection Plan". Guardsman has possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. But not just that, the system Guardsman has for processing claims is designed to reject as many claims as possible, rather than servicing customers promptly. I knocked over a full cup of coffee on our new area rug. If it was me, I would want to clean it ASAP. Guardsman took 2 weeks to send a technician, who was an upholstery specialist. He took one look at the rug, and said, " you need a carpet cleaner". Now Guardsman will need to see his report before they would take my word for it. Another week with this huge coffee stain on my white area rug. I should have rented a carpet machine from Home Depot. Save your money. Very disappointed. read more

I'm a big fan of Ethan Allen because they're one of the traditional American furniture companies. My family has been buying their stuff for generations, and it's always held up. I don't have a lot of disposable income right now, so I usually just go to browse, but this very friendly woman with hipster glasses and big turquoise jewelry always helps me look at fabrics, etc. without pressuring me to buy that day. It's nice to be able to think things through before making a purchase. You definitely won't find IKEA prices, but the quality shows. read more

After finally moving into the new home, the first thing I did was head over to Ethan Allen, looking for a sofa. Working with Grant was a breeze. Everything seemed to be going well...then the delivery issues began. Delivery was scheduled, two hour window (usual for delivery). The big day arrived, sofa was delivered 45min outside the scheduled time, never mind rearranging my schedule to accommodate theirs! The sofa was delivered standing on its end, the legs were unprotected rubbing against the wall of the truck. "You will me to call customer service to get a new leg," was what was said to me. I did, "it will take three weeks for a new leg to be delivered and installed." Three weeks?! Scheduled delivery and installation for ONE LEG, several weeks later. 30 min from the scheduled delivery Ethan Allen called telling me the driver called in sick and will not be coming after all. Apparently the ladies position is cancellations not rescheduling. By far the worse delivery experience I have ever had within the furniture industry. Ethan Allen, you may want to invest in training/teaching your employees the importance of customer service. Next time I will head over to Bassett, hell or even Rooms To Go! read more

I recently purchased two rooms of furnishings from Ethan Allen. The service was good. Response was good. I love the fabric furniture and the look of the wood furniture, but the quality is not the same. I purchased the Grant Desk set. Ethan Allen has been out once to repair the varnish just chipping off and now I noticed it happening again. I have only sat at the desk a limited amount of time and only received it three months ago. It is more than disappointing at the price point I paid. I was not expecting a desk where the edges keep flaking off. read more

He offered to refund the money for the pillows and repair the damage to my walls. After speaking with the owner, everything was resolved right away. I'm writing a review about Noori Jafarian, an Ethan Allen designer out of the Agoura Hills CA store. Noori has help my wife and I design two different homes over the course of several years. She took the time to understand our style preferences and the "look" we were pursuing. From window coverings to completely designing a living room and even small touches to existing rooms, she offered many suggestions and even modeled options through her computer modeling so we could visualize what the rooms would look like. She visited our home on several occasions and was always there to work with the installers/movers to make sure everything turned out perfectly. She is a joy to work with and really cares about her customers to make sure we are thrilled about our design. EA never again! I ordered 2 rooms full of furniture and was told 12-14 weeks and just now received the last piece and still do not a coverlet for my bed! So if you don't mind waiting 6 mos for your stuff go ahead and order If you have the patience to track down your stuff! Communication is Terrible! You have to call and chase down your furniture and work with 3 different numbers to see where your stuff is, then call to schedule delivery yourself and then call another number to get your messed up stuff repaired? I purchased a lot of furniture from Ethan Allen 2 years ago - Entire living room and master bedroom furniture. As you know Ethan Allen is pricey but I always thing the quality was there. I've had problems from the get go. The designer measured the room incorrectly and the living room furniture did not all fit. We managed to put most of the furniture in the room - but not at all how it was designed. In one year, the leather sofa was already showing wear on one corner. Ethan Allen took the sofa for 3 weeks and dyed over the edges to fix it. A year later I noticed edges on the other side are wearing off also and the padding on one arm has sunken in. Why I am giving a bad review now? I am just disappointed that an expensive leather couch does not last. The thought was buying leather would mean is would wear better. read more

The sales people here are incompetent. They royally screwed up two of our orders. We spent almost 15k here. This place is a joke. Unsure if I should blame the staff or the manager who hired them. First incident, told us shipping was 6-8 weeks, which is why we ordered. Only to find out it's 12 weeks, and not due to delay either. Second incident, told us there were only 3 types of rockers available. After we ordered, we came home and browsed online and found out there are actually 5 different chairs. Wish I would have read Yelp before walking into this place. My experience is similar to others here. One of the rudest retail experiences I have ever had. We just moved to the City of Westlake Hills. We have about 5000 sq feet to furnish because all the stuff from our last house just doesnt really work in our new home, which is a much different style. Many friends had recommended Louis Shanks, but we thought that we would give Ethan Allen a chance first. Never again. Not one single dollar $ from us, ever. I wouldnt even bother to take the time to write this, except that I am a business owner myself and I hope perhaps the owner reads this and makes some changes. He/she will never get our business, but maybe corrections can be made for future customers. We dealt with a woman named Peggy. Not sure if it is because I was in shorts and sandals or what, but Peggy treated us like a couple of dorm students, not someone with significant money to spend on new furniture. The amount of money we have to spend shouldnt matter, but if she treated us this way, I cant imagine how she would treat a younger couple with a starter home, etc. She repeated several times to us "you do know this is a design center, right"..."Its going to take at least 10 weeks for anything you buy here to get to your house". When asked if there was ANY furniture they stock in inventory, she said "maybe you should go to ROOMS TO GO for your furniture"... Well Peggy, no - instead, we took our checkbook across to Louis Shanks (our first time there) and got really respectful, friendly treatment and we are now a customer of theirs for life. If the owner is reading this - I promise you, word will get around about how your staff treats customers and it will take its toll. Maybe not overnight, but it will. Ethan Allen in Austin was terrific! We needed to quickly decorate and furnish our Austin office with the goal of making our offices professional yet comfortable. I brought this challenge to the design experts at Ethan Allen Design Center and they were exceptionally helpful. Despite providing them with only vague guidelines of what I was looking for (I am definitely not an interior designer!), they were able to show a variety of options. And this is the important part: their design team started with the end in the mind, and then recommended the individual pieces. In other words, I wasn't sold just a few desks, a few chairs, a sofa, etc. I was sold a solution. And they followed up with me to make sure I was happy! Very disappointed. After requesting something that was FULL BLACKOUT for our bedroom, Toni suggested we buy shutters. We trusted her completely. The shutters let an enormous amount of light through. When we contacted her the response was : "Well all shutters let light through". It was their job to tell us that when they suggested the product. They eventually said they could take them back but we had been without curtains for three months by this time and decided we could not go through the process again. I am a very warm, laid back person and found them to be snooty in the way they act towards customers. read more

I went in, just to check it out. I have been looking for a couch / sofa bed for almost two years. I'm pretty picky and very stingy with my hard earned money. I was met by a very nice lady who called upon a sales person / designer to assist me. Sheryl was very professional and approachable. I wasn't expecting to be treated so warmly, since my price maximum is not as high as their usual clientele. But Sheryl helped me feel comfortable. She spoke with me and asked just the right questions and within moments I was standing in front of the sofa I've been looking for. Not only perfect design but unbelievable price (clearance area). She took measurements for me since it was 20" wider than I had been looking for. We exchanged numbers and I ran home and measured the area. I called Sheryl back with the happy news....it fits! I love this store. After living in the house for about a year, we decided we finally needed to get it decorated. With a fixed budget, we worked with a designer to get exactly what the house needed. Shockingly we came in under budget and the house looks fantastic. While I hope not to move anytime soon- we will certainly use Ethan Allen going forward. I came to Austin's Ethan Allen store in search of a sofa that I had seen online. My timing was perfect because one of Ethan Allen's designers, Victoria Dryden, was available to help me. After discussing the limitations of my living room, Victoria offered to visit my house and give me some ideas. She visited the next day and recommended different ways to bring more light into the room and rearrange the furniture for a better flow. Victoria then worked with me to select fabrics and finishes for the sofa, a new chair, ottoman, rug and window coverings. She helped me select a floor lamp, side chair and wall decor. My living room now looks amazing! I couldn't be happier. Victoria has vision and a great personality. I loved working with her. read more

I am very happy with my Ethan Allen experience. We purchased a leather sofa with ottoman and I am very excited for it's delivery. There are previous reviews of people not being happy with the customer service experience and I would say that the first receptionist I met did seem snooty (granted I came in 30 min. before closing with 2 energetic small kids), but I was not buying from her personally so I really could care less her opinion of me. However, the second receptionist we met on our 2nd visit was VERY professional and nice. But, here's what really matters: Ethan Allen has quality products that last. Our designer, Robert, was wonderful! He had great suggestions, wonderful customer service and made the experience fun. I will probably return to Ethan Allan again for my next furniture purchase just because of him. read more

Update: A direct competitor will be taking care of our upholstery issue. We have decided to finish the project (media room, 2 bedrooms, a landing area, and a sitting area in the master bedroom) with their competitor. A fix for a few hundred dollars just cost them several thousands in additional sales. WARNING: A solution will not be found quickly. It has been over 4 weeks trying to get this resolved. Their competitor had a solution in 48 hours. STAY AWAY. We are having an extremely hard time correcting an upholstery error. The installer has the fabric going the wrong direction, and that is causing the color to be off. It has been 3 weeks trying to get results and nothing is moving forward with this project. Manager is very weak with decision making and action plans to get results. We will not be finishing our very expensive project plans in other areas in the home We are told someone will always call us back and that does not happen. We have to call the store to follow up. Still nothing happens or a plan is not put into place. We will be taking our business somewhere else. Is is a shame not to correct an error and lose out on 3 to 4 times the cost in new business. Not smart. Warning Stay far away from this business. I would give a zero score if allowed. read more

I have visited Ethan Allen in Austin on several occasions. What I expected was high end furnishing with high pressure sales. I have to admit I was very surprised. While the furnishing are top of the line I found the staff to be not only helpful and friendly but more concerned about my project and that I actually get the right theme and colors for what I was trying to do. The selections are extensive and knowing what works, well I needed the help! On my first couple of visits I did not purchase and took the time to make sure it was what I really wanted and worked well. Additionally I expected high prices but after shopping around and taking advantage of sale items it worked out not to be and double the quality. Did I mention that all of the design assistance and advice I got cost me nothing. Some of the best service around and you can not beat the price. BW read more

Went here today looking for a leather couch. Everyone there was very professional, courteous, and helpful. No hard selling or pressure, just polite customer service. Prices were competitive and the quality was good. In fact, they had some of the best quality leather Ive seen anywhere. They also had lesser quality skins if you can't afford super premium. If I had one complaint it would be that they didn't have a lot of leather pieces available to look at in the store. Now, they do offer kind of a cool service where they can apply leather to any of their frames. So if you see a cloth sofa whose shape you like, you can get it in any leather you want. That is pretty neat, but its risky to buy furniture you haven't seen or touched. All in all I had a good experience and if I don't get my sofa here, I will definitely keep them in mind. read more

This is my first time posting a review, and a negative one at that. Obviously, if I hadn't been this upset, I would not have chosen to post this review. All of our furniture are from Ethan Allen - Austin from years back. Now that we are thinking about updating our house, Ethan Allen was our first stop. Given the negative reviews, I decided to do a trial run with a small budget thing first by re- upholstering our six dining room chairs. The experience of choosing the fabrics and paying for 50% was pleasant. The problem started when Ethan Allen was supposed to come and pick up the chairs. We were delayed three times. Each time, we were notified on the day of the pick-up. Never mind that we had to make arrangements to stay home for the pick-up. Once the work was done, we were notified and asked to pay the other 50%. I told them that I wanted to see the work first. But, each time they called, they'd ask about payment. It was a little annoying. When the chairs were finally delivered, I noticed some dents that were not there before. The delivery person brought the chairs back to their shop (3 out of 6). That was a responsible thing that they did. But, for a whole week after that, nobody called us to tell us what was going on. Finally, I called. The designer told me the chairs would be ready in a few days and he'd call. No chairs and no phone calls. I called again and was told a few more days. No chairs and no phone calls. This repeated for two weeks. Each time the designer said he would call me with an update on such and such day, he never did. Last I talked with him, he told me to talk to the receptionist next time I called. I called again today. The receptionist told me the chairs would be back on Wednesday. This would have been more than 3 weeks after the chairs were sent back. I asked to speak with the store manager. He (Dan) called back and simply said the chairs would be ready on Wednesday. Never offered any explanation and was not particularly friendly on the phone either. We now have half of our dining room chairs. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. Frustrating because of a lack of professionalism. I would think a place like Ethan Allen would be above the rest. A courtesy phone call to update the status? An honest explanation? An apology? A friendly voice over the phone? It is also a disappointing experience because, as Ethan Allen customers, we were hoping those other negative reviews were not true. Now we just want our chairs back. Sadly, we likely won't look to Ethan Allen - Austin for our house update needs. read more

Based on positive experiences there in the past (we had already purchased our bed and a desk/hutch from Ethan Allen) my husband and I stopped into the store to look for a new sleeper sofa and chair for our TV room. I had looked through their catalogue and had an idea of what I was looking for, but when they offered to send a designer to our house for free to help us design our space, we thought, why not? The designer, Lynn Unflat, arrived at our house exactly on time. She walked through our living spaces, asking questions, taking measurements and pictures, talked with me about what we liked in terms of style and what we needed in terms of function. She sat down with me and looked through what I had marked in the catalogue and made specific suggestions based on her knowledge of each piece in the store. We made an appointment to visit the store to see fabrics a week later. When we came in for our appointment, Lynn had a beautiful presentation already prepared. The presentation included some things we hadn't budgeted for, but she works for a retail store, and honestly, everything she suggested would have been beautiful in the room. We decided on the chair and sofa Lynn suggested and also bought two side tables, something I hadn't thought would fit in our room but am so glad we have now. The fabrics Lynn chose are beautiful in our room, and the specific furniture pieces work so well for our family--much better than what we might have chosen on our own. In our initial consultation, Lynn went so far as to ask where specific family members tend to sit and sized the furniture accordingly, so that my husband and I have our own comfortable places to sit in the room. Beyond all that, Ms. Unflat also took the time (at my request) to suggest a paint color for our room, and to advise me on potential window coverings and furniture arrangements for a second room, even though weren't specifically shopping for any of those. We had a wonderful experience that saved us tons of time and resulted in a better room. We would definitely shop Ethan Allen and use Lynn Unflat's services again. read more

Ordered the Miller Dining table from Ethan Allen. Within a few months the finish on the table began to chip and peel off. The top layer is so weak that it can removed with a finger nail. We called a customer service rep who was very rude and after insisting, I finally got him to agree to send over an independent inspector to take a look. While on site, the inspector stated that the table should not be wearing the way it was and thus, was clearly a sign of a defect. He said he would be submitting a report to Ethan Allen and we should hear back in a few weeks. When we finally head back from Ethan Allen the rep said the pictures shows normal wear and tear and therefor there is nothing they would do. When I asked to see a copy of the report the rep claims that "it's not company policy" to release the inspector report and there was no way we would get it. That fact that they send an independent inspector then refuse to share the report is a major red flag and shows that Ethan Allen does not stand behind their products. I will obviously never shop with them again and strongly recommend you look elsewhere before purchasing their defective products. Furniture is meant to last years not months. read more

Had a fantastic design experience with Dottie at Ethan Allan. Dottie helped us update our family room furniture and kitchen area. She was very good at listening to our wishes but also helping update our decorating to current fashions & colors. My husband & I are absolutely thrilled with the results. Highly recommend Dottie!! We live in South Florida and at the end of November we are moving to Fayetteville, GA. In the past I bought EA furniture and I was always very pleased. I wanted to buy a few pieces for the new house and I telephoned the EA store in Peach Street City. My call was answered by interior designer Jennifer Dente. I had my own ideas about what I wanted, but her suggestions were much better. She went above and beyond to understand me and make sure that I was getting what I envisioned. She devoted a lot of time over the phone to accomplish that. She is a great designer. On top of that she is personable, eager to help and professional. We placed a special order for a bed on 7/1/2020. We were told it would be 10-12 weeks before delivery. Our delivery date has changed 5 times now. We have been EXTREMELY patient because of Covid. Now, we have been informed that it will be 16-20 weeks for our delivery. (This will probably change because it has changed so many times already.) I have emailed and called Ethan Allen customer service 8 times (all documented) with an average phone wait time of 23 minutes. I have left 5 voicemails for call backs. NOTHING!! Customer service has completely IGNORED my request for a refund, as we are no longer patient waiting for a bed that has not even begun to be made. Per the Chesterfield, MO store location, there has been a "fabric delay." This is unacceptable. I expect much higher quality of customer service from a "FINE" furniture store. I am shocked to experience such avoidance in our concerns. We have been more than patient and are requesting an official FULL refund. read more
