A gray sideboard with a glossy, reflective top surface is displayed in a furniture store. It features three drawers and is decorated with a clear glass bowl and a large ceramic vase with a marbled pattern. The sideboard is positioned against a sofa, with other furniture pieces visible in the background, and the store's concrete floor is also visible.

I have had the most wonderful experience, consigning and purchasing items at the home consignment center. Rose sold a piece of jewelry for me and sold it for a good price and a quick amount of time. The payout is 60 days. Georgia has been super helpful trying to help me pick out pieces of furniture to go in my house taking the time to even look at the pictures of the room and what I need.

Guest room furnished from Bee Cave Store - The image shows a guest bedroom furnished with a white bed covered in a textured white bedspread, positioned against the right wall. To the left of the bed, there is a small bedside table with a lamp. A dark upholstered chair with a fringed base is placed near the window, which has white curtains and blinds. The room features a multicolored, striped area rug on the floor and colorful artwork on the walls, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.

When you need the perfect quick quality fix for your home then go here first! This Bee Cave location has helped me and family members clear out and then refurnish 5 homes! Muriel, store manager shares her professional enthusiastic approach with her sales flor team and they are all excellent. We have trusted their experience with pricing and they share my delight in finding the perfect piece for our home. We built an new home in Bee Cave to "rightsize" and bought all our gorgeous floor carpets and most furnishings here as our torment home had much larger scale. I like to swing by often and am amazed at how much the store totally changes with merchandise. Really great find and been most satisfied customers for 10 years. Thanks!

I checked out this place since I was seeking a bistro table and chairs but for a consignment business it was pretty expensive. I do have quality items I have owned but never paid this much for used furniture. I rather pay for expensive new items. Needless to say I stopped in to try to see what is available to me but found real quality merchandise that is way over priced since you can go buy new stuff anywhere on line but Home Consignment was not for me. But who knows what the future brings I would come back again and see what else is great products for reasonable prices. Located at the intersection of 620 and bee caves parkway area. So it looks like a hit or miss place to find good deals but didn't work for me. Next time I will check out diamonds here seems they are quite beautiful items to buy.

    Crazy suede couch $1498

I have a morbid fascination with consignment furniture stores. Even more so than estate sales. I love walking around and looking at ridiculous dinning tables that can seat 12 people or couches that are bigger than my living room and saying to myself, "what happened to this family that they would give up a 40 foot long custom made suede sectional couch?" The story is probably not as fraught with disgrace and debt as I like to imagine, probably they thought, "What were we thinking getting that suede couch in butterscotch? We should have gotten done in mocha." or "This dinning table really isn't big enough now that Daphne's twins are big enough to sit at the table too, we really need to get one that seats 14 people." But even the thoughts that someone got rid of a 100% mahogany bedroom set because it was a little out of fashion or had to upgrade their living room set to accommodate a bigger family is fun to imagine too. This is obviously the type of place that you have to come to on a semi-regular basis because the stock is always changing. I chatted with one woman who said she comes in about once ever six weeks, and though she doesn't need anything, she has many grandchildren still in need of furniture and she calls them, then send them a photo to see if they want it, and the offer expires if they don't let her know before she leaves the store. That's cause the thing you see and want will be gone if you leave and try to come back for it. I saw a gorgeous vanity there that had 9 drawers, inset center so the use can get closer to the mirror, AND it came with the tri-fold mirror attached! I would have bought that in a heartbeat and passed off my current vanity to a friend or Craigslist. But of course, it was already sold. :( There were also many smaller dining room sets that were for the most part, very nice and unique. One was the solid cross section of the tree, so all the points went towards the center or something. It was gorgeous and less than $500 I think, with all six chairs. There is some imposter, Ikea looking furniture mixed in here, but for every BILLY bookcase I saw, I saw five gilt antique mirrors or one solid wood desk with the leather-inlaid blotters and velvet lined drawers. I was surprised by the prices for the most part, very reasonable for what the items were. People complaining about the price should go buy stuff at Walmart and Ikea I guess. The huge 40 ft suede couch I mentioned? $1498. That is just a steal (and it was on hold, though I may call and put my name on the list). A cheap leather bonded sectional half the size is $3k new. All wood dining tables with all the chairs less than $500, another steal. A new particle board POS at IKEA costs the same and won't make it through one move, let alone being passed down through generations. Some things were priced ridiculously, for unknown reasons: the cheapo made in China outdoor table and chairs in the shape of mushrooms? $269. No. The weird standing chest thing with the coy fish on it? $700 and something. No. One thing that I could not believe was the jewelry they have in this place. Of course, all the pieces I liked had two numbers followed by "k"s on them. Yes, I saw a solitaire slider on a necklace that was priced at $13k. It looked like citrine and zirconia to me, but maybe it was citrine with diamonds. There were huge sparkly rings priced in the thousands and even some necklaces that were out called "fool's gold" but they were still priced at $500. I guess you'd be a fool to buy that. If you're a jewelry aficionado and know how to tell the value of things, this may be the place for you, as some of these items may actually be a good deal to a trained eye. All and all, though I didn't buy anything, it was a great adventure that I didn't intend to take. The ladies were very helpful in telling me the Banana Republic was in fact, on the other side of the street. I thought it was on the west side and had literally just heard an ad on the radio for Home Consignment Center as I was turning in, saw the sign, and decided to go in since I am looking for a new couch. As I came out, I saw am insert on the ground that looked an awful lot like Jung's scarab. Synchronicity and sectional sofas. What can I say?

If you're a bargain hunter or like to really dig in to find possibly cool deals that might be the place for you. Do not expect it to be organized in any way, it's a jungle in there! Consignment are from individuals or businesses so you can see gently used or brand new pieces. There is enough for every taste, but it will take you at least an hour to discover everything there is in there. I bought twice from this place, and I think their take it home and think about it for 24hrs option cool. So you can test-drive it and return it the next day if you change your mind. Two locations, one in Bees Caves and another at Arbor Walk off of Mopac in Austin.

Nice looking piece for $50 right? Nope, see next photo.

The one item we did realize while in there, their price point was up there, but I didn't have much to compare to. Now some 7ish yrs on, it was time to replace the cushions. Our suite sits outside under a pergola, fully exposed to all the elements. They had been cleaned by the wonderful Ms Suzie, but they are grotty, green pollen stained, a little hole here and there. I started my search last spring, bogged down by C19 availability, difficult communications.. etc. One of my chairs had a bent rocker arm and leg, don't know how that happened. But, here is where paying for quality pays off. Winston Patio were great and actually replaced the arm for nothing... in fact they ended up sending me several arms, just in case. Anyway, I eventually reached back out to Backyard, formerly Outside In Style, to check on availability of cushions. Surprisingly, Jamie our original sales rep replied quickly and we began getting this together. 8 Cushions and $2700 later, we ordered them. On July 29th. They arrived yesterday and got the call. During this time I had reached out to Jamie to check status and she always replied promptly and on point. The location is convenient for us, just off of 71, well marked. Massive show room with all kinds of stuff. The gentlemen who helped us load the cushions was extremely nice and helpful and even helped me troubleshoot the bent leg and fix. I would imagine you could find less expensive stuff at the big box stores, however, I would find it hard to believe the furniture would still be in as good nick as our Winston's have faired over the past 7yrs. We picked up covers this time around, which I would imagine will keep the cushions like new much longer. Job done Backyard... we will be back, for some reason Suzie wants me to buy an outdoor grill... oh boy.

On October 10, 2022, the chair stuck in the recline position and would not go down. What followed was a five-week experience with Decorum that was at the least frustrating, and at the most, condescending. Ultimately, the chair, which was under warranty from Fairfield, was repaired and returned to us on November 18. I won't go into all of the detail of the back and forth with Decorum but the main point is this: we were made to feel like the enemy. There was never an expression of regret for th failure of this product nor a call from management to say we're sorry this happened. We initiated almost all communication, having to persist to find out when the chair would be repaired and returned. In fact, it felt like Decorum was mad at us for having this problem. If you want to shop for upscale home furnishings, Decorum is your store. If you want to deal with people who are genuine and who make you feel they care about your business, go elsewhere. In fact, the store staff could take lessons from their delivery team; they were courteous, good-humored and a pleasure to meet. Our greatest hope is that the Fairfield recliner does not break down again, or we will be back to square one with Decorum.
