In fact, all their Austin signs and Keep Austin Weird signs were a draw to venture into the store. Austin's Furniture depot is located on Burnet Road and offers a unique mix of new furniture, statement pieces, and items from local artists. This is not your typical furniture store. Surprisingly, the Austin signs are quite affordable. I asked Shawn one of the store managers, what do folks do with all these signs. He responded by saying the put them in their homes and businesses. One of the eye-catching items in the addition to the signage, are the abstract and unusual artwork covered in shiny glass. I love abstract anything, therefore, I was very intrigued. They also had some individuals featured in the pictures with bold and colorful features. Shawn was friendly, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. I contacted Eurway and asked how I could replace these drawer pulls and they directed me to Collectic Home. I spoke to Joni Greeson on the phone and she was very helpful and understanding. I knew that this was a very unusual request and a long shot, but I didn't want to replace the whole buffet, so I thought this was the only feasible option. Joni invited me to come by Collectic Home and see if they could help. I brought in the drawer and an employee was able to hammer in a new rail in the drawer and measured to find the pulls needed, Joni gave me two sets of brand new pulls in the packaging and directed me through the showroom. I asked where I could pay for the pulls and she said that it was no charge, I could not believe it! The pulls fit perfectly and my buffet is functional again. Thanks again to Joni and her staff. In full transparency, I did not know what the durability or longevity of furniture would be purchased at outlet. For clothing at an outlet, the hem could be off, button missing or another small imperfection. One would expect furniture to be durable and long lasting. Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. The sales representative shared her knowledge of what was going to be included in the sale, although her knowledge was limited. The furniture ranges from low to medium price range.

Since this is a second home for my family I was quite nervous about doing the project from afar. Their team not only got my style immediately they worked their magic within my budget. Design was not the only thing they did well, they were there every step of the way including being on site every day to accept deliveries and set up. When we walked in the first time it was immediately home. Many think using a designer is only for the rich with big budgets. It's much more spacious than their old Arboretum store and they had such wonderful new home items. We are redoing a midcentury ranch home near the lake and have been unable to find a suitable piece of furniture for the TV to go on in the bedroom. My mom walked in and instantly found the piece she had in her mind all this time. We also found some really nice silk palms and a leather ottoman to finish out the room. As it turns out, the piece of furniture was too big to fit in a Suburban so we had to grab a U-Haul. It was near closing time, but Scott (the Scott in Heather Scott Home) told us he would gladly wait for us to return and help load it. We were really concerned about getting such a large piece of furniture out of the trailer once we got to the lake but the way Scott secured it and positioned it we were able to get it on a furniture dolly and inside in the blink of an eye. Everything we bought was perfect! It totally modernized the space while keeping within the mid century ranch vibe. The girls at the store also offered vendor information for the company who stained their concrete and called me a few days later with information on a Benjamin Moore paint color that I was interested in. I could not believe how helpful Scott and the salesgirls were. This was a great customer service experience and we are super happy with all of our purchases. I will definitely be back the next time I need something for my home.

They were super sweet to my puppy. I have never experienced any judgement about my attire. Today, my trip was to replace some missing wash cloths that match the bath and hand towels I had purchased on a previous trip. Not a big sale and the people at the store were super kind to help me locate the correct style and color. As to the pricing---yes this merchandise is expensive. But I do think that is because of the quality of the fabrication. If you are looking for inexpensive linens, there are literally hundreds of other options. If you are looking for high quality, organic, cool sleeping linens those are expensive here and everywhere. I appreciate the curation of the store. I have purchased many pillows, bath linens, bed linens, duvet covers, and accessories. I think they have nailed the unique casual chic style that is so associated with Austin. I assumed they would still have the prices that they had when they were at the old warehouse location, but I was wrong! Now that they are in a nice building in a strip center, I could not believe how high the prices were. And I was very surprised at the small inventory of reclining sectionals! All of the other places I had been to had a much bigger selection. We probably weren't there even 10 minutes. Very disappointing!
