In May2023, I picked out Daltile's Marazzi Zellige tile Gesso (imported from Italy) for October project. Was told by sales rep, no need to pick up early as this tile was always kept in stock. But I find out in October Daltile changed to manufacturer "Mohawk" (El Paso, TX) The Mohawk tile is very different: very little color variation (the hallmark of Zellige). In the attached photos I show what was originally chosen and the tile as it now looks installed. Very disappointed. Had I been informed they were changing manufacturer I could have ordered the original Zellige in May OR found authentic Zellige elsewhere. Instead I wasn't able to get my once-in-a-lifetime project done as hoped.

Fortunately, they were able to put me in touch with another company who made the base for my desk. Direct Natural Stones worked seamlessly with the other business and when the desk frame was ready. While we are in the middle of an order for a complete redo of our conference business chairs, I personally needed a new executive office chair. I was told by our purchaser that John is out of the office a lot, but he said to just go by their business and see if any of their chairs appealed to me. I couldn't see prices while I was there, but at least I could test their chairs and narrow down my search for one or two models. However, this proved to be totally false. I went in and asked the receptionist if I could look at a few executive chairs and she said, "No." An appointment is required. I told her who we had been in contact with John, but she did not care. I showed her their own sign on the door that states, "appointments recommended." I stated that even your own door states recommended - NOT REQUIRED. She said, sorry she couldn't help me. I called our purchaser who attempted to contact John again, but he did not answer his phone. Wasted time and a trip to their office. So, if you want to meet someone rude today, that doesn't care about your business, may I highly suggest you go to Rockford Business Interiors and they will definitely show you a reason why you would NEVER want to do conduct business with them. There are many other stores in Austin that sell business equipment - I would suggest using one of them. They will at least understand that customers are the reason they are in business. If you are rude to your customers, they will not only never buy from you again, but they will tell the world about how poorly they have been treated. The opposite is also true. I think the buyer has a great eye in curating their inventory. I had been buying online at Tea Collection and Pehr, but found a lot of their clothes to be gaudy or mustard. The patterns and colors at Anderson Parker are pulled back. They carry some of the brands Nordstrom carries like Petit Lem and Miles the Label. But they also carry a lot of brands I had never heard of like Lullaby Set. They have a terrific sale selection. Unfortunately a lot of their sale items were located at the back store (other location) due to Le Garage sale, and their inventory was not up to date. The best way to purchase their sale items is to purchase online and pick up in store so they have time to retrieve it from the back store. If the item is credited, that means it's no longer in inventory. The sales associate was supposed to give me my prize before my purchase but she forgot. No worries. My prize was 20% off a regular priced item. I purchased a really cute Beaufort Bonnet Company Jon Jon (named after JFK Jr.) set, but found it confusing as they bait and switched the original cuter Peter Pan short sleeve for a Tatum long sleeve turtleneck at checkout. I purchased The Beaufort Bonnet Company Jack Keene Jon Jon set for $88 including the turtleneck. The Beaufort Bonnet Company website says it costs $60 for the Jack Keene velvet shortalls only. I purchased a matching Peter Pan Collar short sleeve Bodysuit at Rachel Riley online for $15 with zero tax and free shipping. The royal family wears Rachel Riley. I also bought this really cool DJeco rattle that spins and suctions onto a restaurant table so my kid can't throw it onto the floor. It's made of wood and silicone, and is mostly plastic and BPA free. The only toys they sold that were also carried at Target were Sophie the Giraffe and ring teether. All of their other toys were unique and heirloom quality.

He then went on to say that I was at fault for spending the $400 and that I could have just returned the sectional. Why would I return something that we really liked and wanted and that ACTUALLY FIT? Yes it's about the $400 that we never needed to spend that we did because we we're lied to by one of the representatives of your company. It's the principal. The insincere apology was insulting. ****ORIGINAL MESSAGE**** We used John-William Interiors about 2 years ago to purchase a Bracci Living Sectional that we fell in love with at the store for our new condo at the Spring Condominium in downtown Austin. The delivery of our sectional took about a month or so, which we were totally fine with as we understood that furniture takes time for shipping and delivery especially with higher end products. When it came time for delivery, the delivery guys were very quick to tell us that a portion of the sectional wouldn't make it through the hallway and they even pulled out their measuring tape to try and prove it. As we aren't movers, we took their word for it and only half of the sectional was delivered. We ended up having to hire a Specialty Delivery company which we paid over $400 to have them lift it with a pully system over a wall from the pool deck/parking garage on the level below to avoid using the hallways. We finally had our full sectional and we're ecstatic at how amazing it was. Comfortable, fine Italian leather, fit the space perfectly, what more could we ask for. Here is where the problem was; Fast forward to last week. We were now moving out of the building as we sold our condo. We hired a great local moving company who had 2 guys, I'd say they were in their early 20's. They took the sectional, right through the hallways, the same ones that John-William Interiors said they couldn't deliver it through, and right into the elevator and right through the lobby hallway and right into their truck. No problem whatsoever. I mean, it literally took them less than 5 minutes to get it out of our unit, through the hallways, into the elevator, through the lobby hallway and right into the truck. We were not only lied to by John-William Interiors, we were out $400 for no reason at all. They never made the attempt to fully deliver the sectional, I asked them to try and they said it wouldn't fit so they weren't going to try and they even made me go to the warehouse to pick it up since they said they couldn't leave it with me. We paid well over $7,000 for this sectional with delivery and they didn't credit us a thing. They lied to us and made us pay another company knowing exactly what we were paying the Specialty company to do by hauling it over a wall from a level below our patio. What a disgusting, unethical company to do something like this. Maybe they ordered a sectional larger than we wanted? Maybe they ordered the wrong sectional and were too worried to be honest with us? Who knows? But to have your IN-HOUSE DELIVERY TEAM tell us it wouldn't fit and then knowingly let us hire a specialty mover to deliver it over a wall and have us WASTE $400 for no reason, is inexcusable. Stay as far away from these unethical people. How horrible of a business owner do you have to be to allow for this to go on. Looking back at it, it was pretty obvious that they knew it would fit since when I went back to return their moving blankets, (because we are good people even though they said it was unnecessary to bring them back) the sales person we dealt with said something along the lines of "You really had to get that in there." and I commented to my wife right afterwards that he almost sounded upset when he said it. I will be posting this review everywhere I can and I promise to tell this story to everyone that I know. Again, stay very very far away from this place. They lie and cost us money for whatever reasons they had instead of doing the right thing and making the delivery. I guess they thought that we would be there long enough and move it out the same way we brought it in. 2 young men used almost no effort to get it out after you wouldn't even allow your crew to try even with us pleading for you to do so.
