I asked for a drink with a splash, listen to me when I say this a "splash," of heavy cream, and she poured, "poured," so much heavy cream it's disgusting. I don't know how you are training these people, but the difference between, and I'm trying not to curse here, but this is the second time these people don't know what the hell they're doing, if you don't know the difference between a splash, and a Poer, I don't know what to tell you a customer is asking you for a very specific thing. I wanted enough to change the color of my coffee as I said. You poured almost an entire shot glass full of heavy cream into my coffee. It's just kind of stupid I don't get it Train your people to listen to your customers and give them what they want when they requested. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Austin Tx. Located in a safe albeit busy part of town this place will have, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They're aren't many people walking around so if you need something be prepared to "hunt." Finally the place is always clean and stocked so that's a huge bonus. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is always needs a lot of washing. The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want.

Received a call from the delivery crew that the store does not open until 10 am so they would not be here until 11:30. How could the employees not know this?!? The set up guys called and I asked them to push back set up to noon. They said they had to cancel and I would need to reschedule them. Anyway. I called the store when they opened at 10 am and the employee there helped me a lot. Got the delivery done and the set up for later that day. While they turned the copies around for me, I sadly did not check them at the counter and they had cut off half the floor plan. Monday, I am in a different city in a meeting with the planning team ad I unroll the floor plan copies and they are cut off! There was plenty of room on the page for the whole plan to be there but the person who copied cut them off. My bad for not unrolling them at the counter and trusting they were done correctly. So, I had the original drawing and was forced to leave that with the team. Upon return to Austin, I took the plans back to the store for credit. The counter person never once apologized for the mistake. She looked up the order - I had my receipt, the work order and my handwritten instructions with me for the return. She said sorry, it is locked, I can't return it. I said, well can you at least give me a gift card? She tried and said I can't give you one it's locked and she turns the computer screen to me to show me, she said I can't credit your card, I can't give you a gift card and I can't give you cash back- I said, "Well, I'm sorry to inconvenience you, but you greatly inconvenienced me at my meeting and I want my money back." She said, I didn't make these copies, I didn't do anything. I'll give you a number you can call. I said, Can I speak to the manager? She said, Rudely, "I am the Manager and I'm the only one on duty". At this point we are at the main counter and she is just staring at me and I said, Well, are you going to give me the number? She said, I'm getting to it. She told me I was rude to her, I asked well tell me how I was rude to you? She said, because you said I did this, I didn't do anything to you. This academy didn't look very big and I quickly made a round of the store without seeing anything for pools/hot tubs. So I went back to the greeter and inquired about the kit. He found me someone who was very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond looking up then going through the store room to find the kit for me. I'm incredibly grateful because I wanted to get the hot tub ready for a sister day I'm going to have tomorrow. They really allowed me to elevate our get together.

We live in the city and often times, especially when things are on sale, stock can be limited at the locations nearest us in South Austin. This location always ends up being a short and quick drive south to get what we need. Plenty of space for parking and never have an issue navigating in and out of this area. The parking lot is spacious and plenty of space to not make you feel like you are parking really far from the entrance. The store is always super clean and help is just an ask away and not far as the employees here take great care in providing service and helping you out on finding the thing you came here for. Academy is all about value and savings so I appreciate the willingness to price match on things I have seen other stores, in the area, provide so I know I can come here and get exactly what I need at a fair price.

I brought in a small chunk of the thickness I needed to avoid confusion knowing that I would need to drive around to the lumber yard to have it loaded. The Lumberyard loaded up a sheet that was obviously the wrong size--too thin. I tried to be specific about the size I need at the register but a mistake was made. That's okay. I left the lumber yard, went back inside to "return" the plywood and pay the difference for the size I had asked for. Jessie, the manager was extremely helpful though the whole visit. He's a good man. Then I drove back into the lumber yard and had the new sheet loaded. It wasn't till I got home that I realized it was warped badly. I went back to the store and spoke with Jessie--He told me they would make it right and asked me to drive back around to exchange it. I pulled into the lumberyard and was approached by a different fork lift man. I explained that the sheet was warped and I wanted a flat one. He questioned whether I had bought the sheet at McCoys. Then he scolded me saying, "Why did you take it?!" Then he drove off. Life is too short for this kind of nonsense. I'm not going back. From now on I'm a Home Depot man.
