Yelp reviews have been a consistent source of good referrals. This was another good referral. I had trouble finding someone who would work on a vent hood. One of the reviews for EEJ Appliance Repair mentioned a vent hood, so we gave them a call. The project ended up being much bigger than we anticipated. Thankfully, Miki stuck in there and now we have a working vent hood again. Other things to note: Miki gave us a time when he would arrive. He texted when he was on his way. He did a great job on a very difficult project. read more

I've used EEJ in the past, and I still find his service reliable & prompt. Prices are fair and dryer repair was quick. I highly recommend!

Very helpful the team has gone above and beyond! I will be using EEJ for all my repair needs.

Mickey was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He worked hard to get my refrigerator back up and running and was clear about the costs and tradeoffs. He found reliable parts at good prices and took the time to see if the new part really fixed the problem. Totally trustworthy. Would recommend for all your appliance repair needs. read more

EEJ Appliance repair was amazing. I first called Tony's Appliance Repair because of the recommendations on Nextdoor. Tony basically blew me off stating he doesn't work on Empava stoves - intimating it is an inferior product. I needed the ignitor replaced so it should not be a brand issue. Rather, it is a skill that he doesn't have. EEJ came got the model part and fixed it PROMPTLY!! EEJ ALSO fixed the hose in my washing machine. He is exceedingly competent!! read more

I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the interaction I just had with EEJ appliance repair. I wrote to them asking about an LG dryer that was giving an nP error. He messaged me back and said he would charge a very reasonable $75 for the diagnostic, which would usually be the repair as this issue is normally a loose wire. As that was something within my capabilities I unplugged the dryer and tightened all the connections, and when I plugged it back in it was heating like the day we got it. I called and offered to pay him something as he had just saved me a bunch of money, and he said not to worry about it and he was glad it was fixed. This kind of honest, upstanding business person is what builds a community, and based on that interaction and all of the positive reviews for their repair work, I cannot recommend EEJ highly enough. Pic of happily working dryer! read more

Moved to new house, plugged in dryer dead short. Called for a repair call, service tech asked if i had removed the common ground. He advised that new GFCI breakers require that. No service call needed. Can't say enough about a company that will forgo a service call for free advise. This will be our go to for appliance repairs from now on. Can't say thank you enough. read more

Fast, transparent, efficient. Need a dryer belt fixed, and fridge lines drained. Will use this company again. 10/10 recommend.

Micky was very professional. He showed up after a long day of service, and I was thankful he made it. He knew exactly what the problem was when I described my LG dryer wouldn't spin over the phone. We were able to schedule the visit the next day. He had the part ready to go. He had a mask on, which is always appreciated. After he replaced the part, moved the washer & dryer back in place, he wanted to clean up the dirt on the floor. It was not necessary, but I thought it was very nice of him to offer. The whole service took 20 mins. Micky was also kind enough to take a look at my refrigerator on his way out because I had a couple of questions for him. He's definitely going to be my go to for all my future appliance service needs! read more

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about giving my address to someone I've only corresponded to over email. He was great though. He showed up on time, assessed my washing machine leak and found the cause quickly. Showed and explained to me what the problem was. No parts were needed. Problem solved! If I have anymore appliance issues I will definitely use EEJ again. read more

Called this morning and requested someone come out to check the fan in my freezer. It had stopped working and cooling. Mickey was able to come out this afternoon. He explained his work, discussed possible repair costs and a timeline. It ended up being a simple fix with no new parts needed. His work was efficient, cost effective and honest. I'm saving his number in case I ever need appliance repair work again! read more

Today, Wed. 3/20/24, MICKEY arrived on time to fix my refrigerator and check kitchen garbage disposal. MICKEY IS THE BEST EVER professional, polite, and so educated in his field of repairs. His work was accurate, clean and honest. EEJ Appliance Repair is above and beyond. #1. The cost was good as well. The freezer side (left needed a new part) had ice building up and the fridge (right side) was not cold. Our fridge is well kept for its age over 15 yrs. MICKEY mentioned the heater part had to be replaced. He said that part usually only lasts about 10yrs. So, we were very lucky nothing happened or needed repaired till now. That info was good to know. MICKEY EXPLAINED WHAT HE HAD TO DO AND SHOWED ME REPLACEMENT PART. I like learning and definitely am thankful. My husband passed away last summer 2023, and was an electrical, mechanical engineer. He could fix 99% of appliances, electrical as autos at our home. He is dearly missed but probably made sure I got the best guy to help us. There are definitely angels above. MICKEY is such a blessing to our family fixing what our family needed. I did ask him about the kitchen garbage disposal as well. We never use it, but to pour clean water down ever so often. Last week, I turned it on and it did not work. MICKEY took a look and checked it out. Nothing big. Just to reset the switch underneath sink and voila working. THANK YOU for speaking and teaching me about the freezer, fridge as the disposal in our kitchen. Blessings to your wife and children MICKEY. Thank you always! Much appreciated. read more

EEJ Appliance was on time, fairly priced and repaired my dishwasher. Would recommend

Mickey actually answered his phone! This is huge compared to others from whom you may or may not even get a call back from! He was 2 days out from being able to repair the dishwasher but I thought it was reasonable. I took his first availability and time. I requested a call the day of service when he was 30 minutes away and he obliged. And guess what? He texted 30 minutes prior AND showed up on time! Already on his way to a win! Fortunately, the dishwasher decided to drain after not draining for a couple of weeks. So I cannot assess his repair skills but after our conversation, I suspect he is competent. I was charged a $65 service call as I am sure I would be charged by most any other repair company. I will try EEJ again in the future for all of my appliance repair needs. read more

I've been trying to get them to answer the phone for three days; I keep leaving messages with no response.

My son and his family live in Austin. He was busy so he asked me to call around and find someone to fix his drier. He had put a soaking wet comforter in the dryer, which my daughter-in-law said was a dumb thing to do, and it wasn't working. I called several appliance repair places. When I called EEJ appliance repair, I spoke to Mickey. He was very friendly and answered the phone every time. I actually called three times. I called three times because I had to get my son on the phone to explain the problem. When my son explained the problem, Mickey told us a way to fix it over the phone. It worked! Now the drier works! Mickey is fantastic! He answers the phone, really knows his stuff, and is very honest! In the future, I will definitely call EEJ and Mickey to fix all of my appliances when they have problems and you should too!!! read more

Requested a quote earlier this week with a flexible schedule and we set up the appointment for 2 days later with a quote and estimated arrival time. He showed up a little early (early is on time, on time is late) which was great and wore a mask and gloves the whole time. Diagnose and repair altogether was about an hour. Very pleased with his expertise and punctuality. Parts were ready to go and even cleaned out the inside while it was taken apart. Highly recommend EEJ Appliance Repair. read more

I highly recommend EEJ appliance for your repairs. My technician Mickey replied to my request right away with a quote and came straight away. He knew right away what the problem was and ordered parts and returned the same day to install it. The next I had a power issue. Washer was broken, and they told me the cost would be pretty expensive to fix, HONESTLY told me of factory recall on part which would revalidate a factory warranty through manufacturer. Our LG, top load washing machine decided to stop working last night and right when we had loads of laundry to do, right before Christmas. I put out an APB on yelp to several repair companies and Eej was the only one available on short notice. Mickey came out as he said he would and got to diagnosing. Turns out it was a sensor that needed to be replaced and he had the part with him. Christmas Miracle for sure!! LOL! Mickey was quick to diagnose and repair. He waited patiently for us to begin a load of laundry to make sure the machine was in working order. Definitely an experienced repairman. I will definitely call again for other repairs and will refer to friends and family that may need this service. If I could give him 6 stars, I would! Thanks again for letting us have clean socks for Christmas!!! read more
