Tony basically blew me off stating he doesn't work on Empava stoves - intimating it is an inferior product. I needed the ignitor replaced so it should not be a brand issue. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the interaction I just had with EEJ appliance repair. I wrote to them asking about an LG dryer that was giving an nP error. He messaged me back and said he would charge a very reasonable $75 for the diagnostic, which would usually be the repair as this issue is normally a loose wire. As that was something within my capabilities I unplugged the dryer and tightened all the connections, and when I plugged it back in it was heating like the day we got it. I called and offered to pay him something as he had just saved me a bunch of money, and he said not to worry about it and he was glad it was fixed. This kind of honest, upstanding business person is what builds a community, and based on that interaction and all of the positive reviews for their repair work, I cannot recommend EEJ highly enough. Micky was very professional. He showed up after a long day of service, and I was thankful he made it. He knew exactly what the problem was when I described my LG dryer wouldn't spin over the phone. We were able to schedule the visit the next day. He had the part ready to go. He had a mask on, which is always appreciated. After he replaced the part, moved the washer & dryer back in place, he wanted to clean up the dirt on the floor. It was not necessary, but I thought it was very nice of him to offer. Today, Wed. 3/20/24, MICKEY arrived on time to fix my refrigerator and check kitchen garbage disposal. MICKEY IS THE BEST EVER professional, polite, and so educated in his field of repairs. His work was accurate, clean and honest. EEJ Appliance Repair is above and beyond. #1. The cost was good as well. The freezer side (left needed a new part) had ice building up and the fridge (right side) was not cold. Our fridge is well kept for its age over 15 yrs. MICKEY mentioned the heater part had to be replaced. He said that part usually only lasts about 10yrs. So, we were very lucky nothing happened or needed repaired till now. That info was good to know. MICKEY EXPLAINED WHAT HE HAD TO DO AND SHOWED ME REPLACEMENT PART. I like learning and definitely am thankful. My husband passed away last summer 2023, and was an electrical, mechanical engineer. He could fix 99% of appliances, electrical as autos at our home. He is dearly missed but probably made sure I got the best guy to help us. There are definitely angels above. MICKEY is such a blessing to our family fixing what our family needed. I did ask him about the kitchen garbage disposal as well. We never use it, but to pour clean water down ever so often. I've been trying to get them to answer the phone for three days; I keep leaving messages with no response.

Mickey actually answered his phone! This is huge compared to others from whom you may or may not even get a call back from! He was 2 days out from being able to repair the dishwasher but I thought it was reasonable. I took his first availability and time. I requested a call the day of service when he was 30 minutes away and he obliged. And guess what? He texted 30 minutes prior AND showed up on time! Already on his way to a win! Fortunately, the dishwasher decided to drain after not draining for a couple of weeks. So I cannot assess his repair skills but after our conversation, I suspect he is competent. I was charged a $65 service call as I am sure I would be charged by most any other repair company. I will try EEJ again in the future for all of my appliance repair needs. read more

Our LG, top load washing machine decided to stop working last night and right when we had loads of laundry to do, right before Christmas. Excellent service. They came and fixed my GE gas clothes dryer and had it back up and running in under an hour. Don't pay attention to comments that are negative based on cost vs repair time. They quote you a price and stick to it so it doesn't matter if it takes them 10 minutes or 45 minutes to repair.
