I've used Access for years because they respond quickly and professionally and always get the job done!

Bo is fantastic and would highly recommend to him to anyone needing major appliance repairs. He is responsive, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. The last two times I've worked with him, he responded within a short time and arrived at our home within a few hours, or sooner depending on his schedule. Just today we had two appliance issues with our dishwasher and washing machine. Texted him at 7:30. He responded by 8, set an appointment for 1 and the repairs were done by 3. He's the first one I call when issues happen. He should be yours too. read more

Unreal!!! No microwave for months... built-in headaches,FIXED BUILT-in fridge freezer noise -FIXED Water dispenser in fridge fixed after 10 years with a sticky note saying "Do not use" - FIXED Bo is the king! Amazing prices too!! read more

I contacted Access on a Sunday to trouble-shoot a "clicking" 4-yr old KitchenAid dishwasher. Technician Bo texted back, we set a visit for the next morning. Bo arrived on time, diagnosed the problem. Rather than a $500 job to replace the wash pump motor and pump (as the KitchenAid site had suggested), he found the problem to be an intermittent issue with the diverter valve, which he fixed by - believe it or not - powering down the valve's solenoid (I think). Problem fixed for the service visit plus $30, very cost-effective. Bo was great to work with, technically excellent, great people skills. Will definitely use again. read more

Fridge stop cooling and then freezer gave out, called Access and they came out and got everything fixed for a great price and explained issues to my husband and I. He was so nice and knowledgeable. This company was referred to me by my Bible study group friends and so glad we called them. Thank you, we will definitely continue to us them and definitely referred them! read more

I can't believe I haven't done this yet but once again Bo saved us! Bo has helped us for years- he's honest, trustworthy, skilled, reasonable and fair prices. He's repaired my first washing machine, was honest when it broke again and told us it would be better to replace it. He's fixed our fridge, and really helped us keep it going while we waited for a part but setting up a fan. He repaired our oven days before Christmas when we had family in town. Bo is seriously the best! He's always on time, respectful, friendly. And so knowledgeable! Don't hesitate to call Bo for any repair you might have. read more

We needed a washing machine looked at. After calling 5 others "Appliance Service" businesses, none of which even got back with us...Access Services came to our rescue. It was an easy fix and Beau was very friendly, professional and ON TIME...Thank You!! read more

We have been a repeated customers of Access Appliance repair for a few years now. They always schedule us super quick. We just had washer and ice machine repaired and they had it up and running in no time. My folks started using them as well. Their prices are very fair. I definitely suggest them for repairs! read more

Bo is fantastic. We have relied on him for more than a decade and he has extended the life of, and repaired, an ancient model kelvinator refrigerator in the garage and older models of our bar sub-zero mini-fridge, whirlpool washer, kenmore dryer and jennaire stove top. He has also repaired our newer model kitchen refrigerator and the older model before that when the LG repair guy gave up, even though it was under warranty! Bo kept it going for several years after that. He is very reasonable and knowlegeable. My husband and I agree that if he can't fix it reasonably, then it is doubtful that anyone can. My mom and pop have also had great success with Bo and we recommend him without reservation! read more

I used Bo again, I texted him yesterday morning and he was at my house within a couple of hours. My Kenmore Freezer (Top Fridge/Bottom Freezer) was leaking water due to clogged defrost drain. He got me fixed up within an hour. Bo did a great job as usual for a very fair/reasonable charge. read more

They , Bo, were prompt in all aspects. He came they day I called did the diagnostics and after determining the mother board was bad he did extensive research to locate a new one using his network, as the model of refrigerator we have discontinued manufacturing of this type of board. He got a new one ordered, installed and working all for less then the cost of a refurbished board alone. Very happy with repair and service. He saved us from having to replace the $11k fridge! read more

This is about our fridge: the owner of the company "Bo" provided wrong diagnosis and recommended extremely expensive but totally unnecessary repairs. Charged 200 bucks for recharging the freon but did not fix the problem, and refused to acknowledge his wrong diagnosis. Paid another company 45 bucks to take a look, who fixed the problem (freon overcharging combined with high summer temperature) in 10 minutes! I will definite avoid this dishonest/incompetent company for any future services. read more

It had been a very difficult week. My husband had open heart surgery and the day after he comes home from the hospital, our refrigerator/freezer will not get cold. Contents in the freezer were beginning to thaw. Called Access Appliance on Sunday and was immediately answered and scheduled for the following morning. He was able to figure out the problem within a few minutes. We had thought that we were down in our luck and would have to replace the unit. He was even cleaning up all the dust that was on the floor under the unit. We were extremely satisfied and would recommend Access to anyone in need of appliance repair. Prompt, professional, polite, knowledgeable, and honest. read more

Bo was excellent. He responded promptly and answered all my questions regarding our aging refrigerator. He came up with a solution that fit our needs, and I felt the pricing was appropriate. He is honest, polite, and knowledgeable. I will certainly call him again when we need repairs done on our appliances. read more

Relying on the 5 star Yelp review, and frustrated a Sears technician couldn't be here the next day, I called Access. Bo answered (I assume he's the owner) and scheduled for the following day. The problem was that our Whirlpool dishwasher wasn't draining. No matter which wash cycle, it simply wouldn't drain. Bo came out, took off the face plate, fiddled with wires, took a voltage reading and stated we needed a new control board. Top of the line Whirlpool, only 15 months old, and working before he came (just not draining). But sure enough, the board was now unresponsive. He charges me $69 for diagnosis but assures me it will be deducted from final bill. Ok, I say. When can you get the part? He states he'll call his part place and let me know the price. In the meantime, I located the model number and checked Whirlpool's site. The control board was listed as $154 Bo calls the next day and let's me know his parts place found a control board in Dallas (?) for $180. His labor for install will be $130. I tell him Whirlpool sells it for $154, is the extra money for shipping? He says no, his parts place marks up for profit. When I protest and say I can order directly from Whirlpool, he tells me he cannot warrant work unless he provides the part. So at this juncture I can go with a known Whirlpool part and get Sears out (forfeiting the $69) or trust Bo. Four days later, he returns and replaces the board but the dishwasher still doesn't drain. He removes hoses, and the drain trap and then, miraculously it runs. The upshot? I'm sure readers can draw their own conclusions read more

My oven was leaking gas and I was without it for over a week because the gas company was dragging me along (they were responsible for the problem but wouldn't tell me if they were going to cover the fix). I called 3 other places first based on recommendations, but nobody was able to come to my home until the next week (which meant another 4 days without a stove/oven). I had resigned myself to hosting a party without an oven until I called Access Appliance Service. To my utter shock they not only had a technician who carried the proper gas meter to check for leaks, but he was able to be at my house in 30 minutes! Bo showed up on time and my husband (who was at home to receive him) was very happy with his experience. Bo took his time to make sure everything was done right and even told us how to make some small fixes to our oven and range to make it work better. I would probably give him 4.5 stars if I could because he wasn't immediately able to find where the gas line turned on/off and I had to call the gas company yet AGAIN, but I've decided our oven is stupid anyways. So glad I called Access Appliance!! LIKE read more

Prompt service and excellent work. Our service was performed on the same day I called by a very nice and honest technician - it was a bad switch on an LG refrigerator at around $300 installed rather than a $900 compressor replacement. read more

Bo is really exceptional, so easy to deal with. You make a call, he answers, you provide him information and in a few hours or by the next morning he is at your home. I would not think about calling anyone else. He is honest, he will tell you if its better to repair or replace whatever it is you called him about. I don't call anyone else when something breaks down. read more

I called mid day on Tuesday, they said they could come that afternoon! Holy cow! I wasn't ready for that! So, I settled for the next day between 10a-12pm. My problems: gas cook top - 1 burner not lighting and dishwasher tipped when I opened the door and rolled out the dish tray inside. Bo arrived on time (around 11am) ... he checked out my gas cook top. Evidently, at some point, it must have fixed itself because there was no problem with it after all! Then he set his attention to the dishwasher. He showed me immediately what the problem was, how to fix it ... what to look for, what else I should think about. He set about making the fix and I continued on with my work (I was on a conference call with work). But then zip, zip, zip! he was done! He showed me what I did. He went back and checked the gas cook top again to make sure it was really working and it was. And he had a couple calls come through when he was working on my dishwasher and I have to say that I appreciated that he took the call outside. The cost for the trip and repair was very reasonable. Yes, it took less than 30 minutes but I have no doubt that this is the guy and company I would call again if I had an appliance issue. Bo is a nice guy ... very unassuming and very interested in making sure you see what the problem is and what he is doing to fix it. read more

I've used them twice and both times were excellent. Bo responds quickly and both times he was able to come out the same day. Both times (washer and fridge) he tested parts and was able to replace parts and not the whole machine. He is polite, quick, clean, and fair on pricing. I will use him again and recommend to others. read more

I would highly recommend this repair business . I called at 8:00am on Saturday . A repair man was at my home at 1:00. The needed parts were on his truck , therefore , my dryer was back in service in less than 30 min. The cost of the repair was a very fair price. I was without a dryer less that 24 hours . read more

We had a positive experience with Bo at Access Service Company. Bo was able to come out the same day to repair our five-year-old refrigerator. He determined that it needed a new mother board and replaced it. Unfortunately, this did not fix the problem. Bo then returned and determined that the compressor would need to be replaced. Unfortunately, it could take five weeks to get the part. Less than a week later, Bo called and asked if he could come back and try another motherboard in case the first one had been defective. I was impressed that he kept thinking about our repair and was trying to save us the hassle of being without a fridge for five weeks. He tried a new motherboard which also did not work. At that point, Bo told us that the problem was not the compressor, but some internal wiring that could not be replaced -- we would need to replace the refrigerator. While this was a disappointing outcome, I was impressed with Bo's perseverance and diligence in trying to make the repair. He refunded all but the initial service call and added casters for free to protect our floor while he was moving the fridge around. read more

These guys did an awesome job when no one else could. I was told by certified refrigerator repairmen that my $10,000 kitchen aid refrigerator could not be fixed and would have to be thrown away. These guys fixed it within hours and it's working great Again for a fraction of the price. read more

I called Bo at Access after an abortive effort to get an LG authorized repair company to fix my busted fridge, which had leaked freon. He showed up half an hour early, took one look, agreed with the abortive guys' diagnosis (long story, see my review of KJ Appliances and More), but practically demanded that I call LG, as the sealed system is warranted for parts for seven years. I was willing to pay him the four hundred bucks he quoted just to get the thing working again, but as I said, he insisted I call LG. So I did, and immediately asked for a supervisor, explained the foul-up with their authorized company, explained that the independent repair company agreed with the dianosis (that would be Bo) and the upshot is LG is covering parts AND LABOR due to the uh, situation, with the original repair guys. So I have to pay Bo a service call charge. I'd pay twice if he asked (not really, Bo, in case you're reading this). As long as he's in the business of repairing appliances, and mine continue to break, I will call him. You should, too. read more

The technician I got from Access Appliance Service is definitely the worst I have ever seen!! My dishwasher was broken, so I hired Access Appliance Service to help me take a look. The technician they sent to me was a senior guy, seemed very nice. But he was clearly incompetent and had no idea what he was doing. First of all, he unscrewed all the screws holding the front plate in place, which only opened up a small gap on top. Then he complained the whole time he was here that the dishwasher is terribly designed to only leave him a small gap to work with. Until I walked over and gently lifted up the front plate, and the whole thing came off and opened up the work space. Now it comes to the worst part. This technician tried to open the control box (a plastic box holding all the electronics in) to diagnose the issue. He spent 15 minutes trying to crack open the box from the BACK with two SCREW DRIVERS!! After watching a while, I couldn't help to advice him to open the box from the correct side. He arrogantly denied to even exam the front of the box, until I had to take the box from his hands and open the box for him with a simple press of a button. Then he did it AGAIN on the wiring panel of the box, where he spent another 10 minutes trying to crack open the panel from the back with his two screw drivers; and again, I had to show him the top of the part and how to correctly remove the wiring panel without breaking anything. At this point, this technician is fully embarrassed and irritated, and he warned me to stay back and allow him to work. But given his bad attitude and incompetency. I believed this guy was only capable of doing more damage to my already broken dishwasher. So I had no choice except to pay him the service charge and asked him out of my house. read more

Bo just left after repairing my dryer. Wonderful, friendly man with great attention to detail and quick service. He made my day with his hilarious commentary too! Should I make things break, just so I can have him back?!? THIS is why I deal with small, local businesses: personal attention! With gratitude for fixing my dryer AND making my day so pleasant! read more

I called for a dishwasher repair at 10:30 today. They came at 1:15. The other companies said 4 days out. Cleaned dishwasher totally to unclog. Gave me great tips on how to keep that way. Price was good! Will use them for other appliances read more

I appreciate a repair service company that calls you back promptly. I also appreciate it when the same company tells you straight up that it's better to buy a new dishwasher than repair the one you've got. Plus, the technician (Bo) was very, very polite and he liked my dog and my garden. I'll definitely be calling Access Appliance Service again. read more

My 2002 Kenmore 24 inch gas built-in wall oven stopped working on Sunday before Thanksgiving 2019. I was pretty sure that it was a failed gas range oven ignitor, but I was unsure where to begin looking for repair services, given that Sears has closed. With a holiday week coming up, I was desperate. My daughter provided me with the names of five repair businesses from Angie's list and I was very fortunate that Access Appliance Services was one of them. Bo answered my call and within two hours he had arrived at my house. He was very professional, knowledgeable and skilled. He diagnosed the problem, retrieved the part from his truck and within an hour, my oven was working and the charge was extremely reasonable. I was SO relieved. Bo will definitely by my go-to guy for servicing all of my appliances going forward. read more

Bo is the best! He came over first thing in the morning after a late night call about a refridgerator leak we discovered. He explained exactly what the issue was and fixed the problem right away. When my LG washing machine started to have problems I called the Access Appliance Service based upon the reviews it was given. Boy am I glad I choose them to service my machine. Bo, the technician, came out the same day I placed my call. After looking at the problem he immediately knew that a certain part was needed and would have to order it. Once he found out how much the cost would be he checked with me first before ordering it. After giving him the okay he placed the order for the part and was at my house the very same day that the part arrived (which was only two days after he ordered it). Needless to say my machine is now working great. Bo was everything one could ask for ......prompt, honest, and professional. He definitely cares about his customers and one that I would recommend to anyone who is in need of an appliance repair. read more

Bo has now worked on 3 different appliances for us, and every time we have a wonderful experience. Our latest was our washing machine wasn't working properly and was also making a terrible noise. With a family of 5, it doesn't take much for our laundry to get out of control, and I was not looking forward to going to the laundromat. He came out the same day we called and discovered it was just the motor; and the very next day came back to replace it. He's always on time, friendly, honest, and professional. Our 1-1/2 year-old LG front loading pedestal washer has been making a knocking sound when it spins. We called Access late Friday afternoon and they made an appointment to come Saturday morning, for no extra charge. Bo came and quickly ascertained the problem. Despite the fact that we had leveled the machine, there were certain places on the tile floor where the machine was unbalanced when it was spinning at high speeds. After checking it out, he said there was no actual problem with the machine and spent the time necessary to position the machine in the best location. While this didn't amount to a technical repair, we appreciate that he was honest about the situation and only charged us a minimal service charge. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. We will definitely call Bo again if necessary! read more

There is already plenty of praise here so I'll add my 5 stars real quick. Awesome experience. Called them, they called back as promised and had a technician onsite in less than two hours.
