One of the reviews for EEJ Appliance Repair mentioned a vent hood, so we gave them a call. The project ended up being much bigger than we anticipated. Thankfully, Miki stuck in there and now we have a working vent hood again. Other things to note: Miki gave us a time when he would arrive. He texted when he was on his way. My washer was under warranty and I appreciate him being candid with me and not trying to sell me on an expensive repair. I called and he came out the next day and submitted the claim for me to get it worked out. They have in stock a bunch of parts, so if you're fortunate to need a replacement part, they may have it immediately and you won't have to wait for it to be ordered. I've also used them for other appliances and every time I've been very satisfied. They're efficient and skilled and it's a small shop, so you talk to a real person and a short turnaround for a service appointment.

On the repair side, Roger was outstanding. You could immediately tell he's incredibly mechanically inclined. Even though he'd never worked on our specific brand and model of range hood, he quickly figured out how to disassemble it and install the new motor -- something that would have taken me far longer to troubleshoot on my own and hours watching YouTube Videos. He worked efficiently and made a point to clean up after the repair, which I really appreciated. Four Needs has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list for future appliance repairs.

He gave me a few ideas of ways to get as much life out of it as possible and it continued for another 6 months using those suggestions. At this point, I have to go out of pocket again to have someone reputable make the repair. I wish I would have seen the reviews before I did business with him via Craigslist but he's good at changing phone numbers and classifying his company as "out of business" as a way to avoid the bad reviews or being delisted from Craigslist. It's the same guy depicted in one of the other reviews here. This listing keeps getting changed to "Out of Business", though he's clearly still in business, just under the radar.
