So here's the thing. I've never been into a Conn's. If I go into a retail store I want to be the one on control the moment I walk in. I don't want to walk in and immediately be approached by a sales person before I have even looked around. I don't want to shake your hand, I don't want to know your name, I just want to look around. Instead of approaching me looking to make commissions just say hello and welcome and be on your way. We the people will ask if we need help. If anything keep a hidden distance from the customer and the moment they look around for someone make a move but stay away until then. I won't one Star it because I don't know what could have been had I been actually interested in buying something today. To be honest the commission seeking employee is the reason that today I have decided to Hong the Amazon prime team. read more

Worst customer service from the store and the corporate office. They take complete advantage of the customer with no reguard, they don't follow their own return policies and don't really care if you like it or not. They applied for a credit card for myself without my permission and then deny it, sales people will do whatever they need to make a sale. Don't go here, I would rather you punch me in the face, then go here. read more

While cons does approve almost everybody their service department sucks! We're paying $3,000 for a washer and dryer that is not even a year old yet the dryer went out and I scheduled a service call 4 days prior for a Saturday then this morning they call and say they can't make it so now we're going to be two weeks without a dryer that we're still paying on. The initial credit approval is so not worth it read more

I feel like this is a store that doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. Imagine if you will a poor man's Best Buy meets Ashley Furniture meets Target meets Rent-A-Center? There is just nothing especially appealing about Conns. You stroll through surprisingly open (read:empty) aisles of seemingly cast off furniture, appliances, and TVs. Nothing is particularly spectacular, nothing is displayed in a way to entice sales, and the prices are higher than the Best Buy across the street. If there is anything remotely going for this place, it's that they seem to rent furniture (or at least there were tags with xxx price per month displayed), but since there isn't any advertised signage, I'm not even certain if they in fact do rent anything. Frankly I'm not sure whom this place intends to cater to, and since there were so few people inside, I suspect my opinion is not in the minority. read more

It happened after hours so we had no choice but to wait until the next day to take it in to be serviced. We have had nothing but trouble trying to get updates as to where the TV was going to get fixed since at the time of purchase we were told if its under 50" bring it in to the store and over 50" it gets serviced at the house. We have a 43" LG and we were told they would go ahead and have it fixed there for this time only. On 1/5/16 I spoke with Jaime & said we would have our old TV fixed and repaired or a new one by Friday 1/8/16. On 1/6/16 we kept getting calls to get our tv to be repaired at our apartment, I spoke with Miriam & she canceled the old ticket and made a new one that the tv would be repaired there at the store & that she would email LG if they'll prove a replacement since it had been under 30 days since purchase. on 1/8/16 I called for a update on the tv & spoke with Jaime & he accused me of being a liar saying he never told me we'd have a new tv or our fixed tv on Friday. We went to the store to complain and Edgar the store assistant manager said he can't help and to call the help desk to make a complaint. on 1/11/16 Luke from service called and said wed get our tv hopefully that week. on 1/14/16 We called for an update and said no parts were even ordered friday but were that day & would take another 1.5 week to come in and get repaired. Called luke again and left a voice mail, we then called the service line and were told parts were in fact ordered Friday but there was no est. delivery date. Luke called back and said the parts should've been delivered that day and we should've gotten a call about it being repaired the next day. on 1/15/16 we called luke back and he told us one of the parts was backordered until 1/29/16 and that he would put in the paperwork to get us a new TV instead. on 1/18/16 I called for an update and we were told corporate approved but just waiting for approval from LG. on 1/20/16 My husband called for a update and the cashier said our TV was repaired and ready for pickup, so he went to the store got our TV then dragged it up THREE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS to only see our TV was STILL BROKEN. I called the service line and Yvette who i spoke to said the tv was NOT supposed to be released to us and to take it back since approval was still pending from LG. I spoke with the store manager Jesse on the phone and he said he couldn't do anything but that we can call back Friday to check on the status. On 1/22/16 we called for an update and we were told LG denied the request for a replacement because the part became available and would be fixed. On 1/23/16 service called my husband stating the TV was approved but we wouldn't get the TV released to us unless we made our first payment. We told billing we would not be paying until we got the call for our old tv repaired or a new one fixed. We agreed to make the payment and were told that we could go get it from the store. My husband went to the store to go pick up the tv to only be told that no we couldn't get the tv. We were LIED to to get a payment and thats simply disgusting. The amount of back and forth from this whole company is annoying & highly unprofessional. We want the exact same TV replaced new in box, we're sick and tired of getting the run around from everyone within this company. You say you do what needed to satisfy your customers but i have not witnessed ONCE any of that read more

It is absolute policy from corporate and local management to not respond to issues. Had a Bed frame ,fridge delivered July 2016 ....headboard damaged...talk to management ...they promised a replacement would be sent out and replace damaged one. contacted manager and assistant managers ...not one return phone call. called salesperson....she suggested corporate...so I called corporate.. they assured me it would get taken care of...month goes by..i go in talk to assistant manager..calls corporate they explain they have request...but its to late. assistant explains.. He will have manager call me. Soooo no call. So my recommendation to new customers is to look elsewhere..This company has no ethics in what they are doing in business. now this bed is in my spare bedroom we seldom use ...but we paid premium dollar for this frame. guess my next step is to contact the Attorney general and see what they say....The reason I have spent so much money at this place is because I like Darci my salesperson..and I love supporting good people..but Im afraid this will put a damper on her sales commissions...She is already so embarrassed to how this company is treating me ..a customer who has spent thousands in this store..and has NEVER missed a payment in a few years. Oh well maybe they will be a little lenient and patient on some of those customers who are having a hard time making their payments? Ha! Ha! Ha! N O T ! Best wishes guys! read more

It's very hard to comprehend this place is still in business considering they have the WORST customer service ever. Is anyone held accountable for the mistakes they make including their management specifically ( Vincent). It definitely feel like corporate office specifically trains the managers to be rude and insensitive to customers. I'm at lost for words about how bad the mangers are except for (Diago). The sad thing thing is really no one cares. I tried to reach out to the district manager ( jansee) but never heard back. so that's the way they do business. read more

This company is the worst type of predatory furniture stores. You can tell by the moment you walk in that you may have made a mistake. Salespeople will come at you in droves to continuously harass you into buying something. They also will lie to you in order to make a sale. I was promised that my old account would be merged with a new one if I were to purchase a bed. I purchased the bed and the next thing I know I have two bills every month. When I call Conn's they will pass the blame back and forth between corporate and the store itself. They also did the same thing to my brother in law. I can't wait to have this stuff paid off so I can never deal with Conn's again. read more

I went here to purchase a washer and dryer a nice guy who was new was assisting me his manager comes out to assist him because he's new the manger was rude especially to the sales men helping me I didn't care for the managers customer service so I kindly let him know I was no longer interested and I'd go to Home Depot later on that night around 9pm the manager calls me to tell me when I should be expecting the delivery of the washer and dryer I told him again that I wasn't not interested and that I already went to Home Depot the next day comes and I get a text with a status update of a delivery driver by the time I get home there are 2 men at my front door with a washer and dryer I told the delivery driver I didn't want it which he kind of had an attitude about it because they had already dropped it at my front door they tried leaving it so I guess the manager took it upon himself to finalize the application which he would have had to sign my name in order for all of this to happen called corporate they didn't seem to care no one ever called me back read more

$139 delivery fee for a sofa when the salesman said it was $77. Sales tax on delivery fee and protection plan when the salesman said it was just on the sofa. Delivery day and haven't heard from anyone, so I called the store. My sofa is now out of stock. In stock the day I bought it and they charged it to my credit card. But since I couldn't have it delivered until today since this is my first day off work since I bought the sofa, they delivered my sofa to someone else who could have it delivered earlier. I wouldn't even give them a one star review. We purchased a couch and loveseat from them and have had nothing but problems. They sent a repairman out to determine if they could be repaired. Parts were ordered and after several months finally arrived. They repaired the loveseat, but did not have enough parts to repair the couch. Two months later and I have still not received the parts. And, the loveseat has failed again. I stopped by the store to try and get some answers. The manager called service while I sat there and when I told him to explain things to the service department he was laughing on the phone. That is a manager??? Disrespectful!!! I called corporate and reported all, they sent me back to service. I told them to just pick up the furniture and give us a refund. They told me they wouldn't do that. Horrible experience! Beware if you buy from them. And the saga continues. When we never received the parts for the couch repair they brought us a new couch. Well, (a duck is a duck), so I am expecting the same thing to happen. Finally had the repair guys come and look at the failing loveseat. He confirmed what I suspected. The materials used will not last. Now what? I can't believe that this company is still in business! I will not stop until they properly take care of this situation. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CONN's!!! Their name says it all! read more

Awful customer service. I applied for credit online and was approved but had to go to the store to complete the paperwork. I could not order appliances online and have them delivered without an in store visit. Once at the store I dealt with Ryan who initially contacted me after my online application. Ryan was helpful, pleasant, and professional but that was the last of any good customer service. I was told delivery would be made on a specific day but when I hadn't received a confirmation call prior to the delivery I had to call Conn's to confirm. I was then told the delivery was rescheduled due to one item being on backorder. Uh...why did I have to make the call? They should have notified me right away. The partial order was rescheduled for delivery another day. Delivery was fantastic. I was given a time window and when they were able to give me a more accurate estimate of the delivery time the driver called me with an ETA. Delivery was efficient and professional. Those guys work hard and long hours! Since then I've only received one voice mail message asking me about the delivery service. I did not return the call as they only wanted a reply of a rating from 0-5. I give the delivery guys a 5! I have NOT received ANY documentation (other than the delivery paperwork provided at the time of delivery) from Conn's. All documents (many, many documents) were signed electronically at the time of purchase. I asked if these will be sent to me. Ryan said, "yes". I still have not received my contract/agreement. I have not been notified of an ETA on the backordered item. I did receive a payment book but the monthly payments have not changed from the original order although the items I've purchased have. The backordered item was about $1,000. My payments should be less. I finally called Conn's to inquire about my backordered item, the payment, amount, and status of my signed documents. I was told there was a credit to my account in the amount of $1,000-something. I guess they just decided they're not going to provide the backordered item. I was told the monthly payment amount will not change. The number of payments will. Since I never received any of the contract documents I can't even verify this. Conn's just makes the sale, charges outrageous interest, and upsells useless warranties. I would not recommend this store to anyone! Save you money instead. Thankfully I can pay off this account quickly and not look back! read more

Wow!!! So glad we didn't end up going through with buying a $2,500 couch from here. We were told that it could be delivered the next day in the beginning but after sitting down with a salesman and almost signing the deal they informed us that it wasn't going to be delivered for almost a month. After reading all the negatives about this place it seems buying anything from this place is a bad idea. read more

BEWARE!!! This store is terrible! My husband and I went in to look at a new range. We were approached by a salesperson within 1 minute of walking into the store. We told the salesperson we were just looking and would find her if we needed help. We were followed and pressured to fill out paperwork. We explained we wanted to look around before filling out any paperwork. Why go thru all the hassle if we don't find what we are looking for. She pretty much insisted saying we needed to know how much we could qualify for. So I said fine but as long as it didn't affect my credit score. She assured me it wouldn't. I qualified for $9000. Great... now let me look around. Nope! Come to find out it was her 2nd day on the job. That's fine. We are luckily patient people. She was very nice and stayed with us while we looked. We found a range for a reasonable price but the bottom drawer was damaged. We asked if the price was for the damaged one. She said we could get the same range without damage for the same price which was $697. So we said we wanted that one without the damage. She went to start the process and told us to go ahead and walk around she would find us when she got everything ready. About 30 minutes later she finds us with a trainer and they explain the $697 is for the damaged range. We decided on a new range but the cost now went to $899. They told us if we purchased matching LG appliances we would get $500 off the purchase. We were thinking of replacing out refrigerator too so we looked at refrigerators. Found one and it is awesome. Then we were told we had to purchase 3 appliances for the $500 rebate. Should have ran at this point but we have already been in this process for about 2 hours at this point. We saw a microwave for $250 That matched the set. We thought about it and said we would buy the microwave too. It would counter the cost with the rebate. Makes sense. 40 minutes later we are told because she didn't get the order in sooner the only one available had sold. The next one available was $100 more. At this point (3 hours) we said fine. 45 more minutes and that one is no longer available. Next one is $450. No way! We were about to leave. They offered the first $250 microwave floor model for the full price. I asked if it came with everything including manual and warranty and all parts. No damage! I was assured because we were paying full price it was treated as new. We completed all paperwork and now we have been here over 4 hours. Delivered next day and microwave is missing filters for vent hood. Delivery driver told us to call the store. I called and explained the situation thinking they accidently forgot to send the parts. Danny Hernandez hung up on me after telling me I bought a floor model as is. My husband called back to ask for a manager and Danny Hernandez hung up on him. Finally we were able to get a manger. He said he would call corporate and call back. 2 hours later no call back. My husband called back to speak with the manger Robert, wouldn't give last name, and the girl that answered said he would have to call us back. My husband explained he would hold until he was available. She thought she put him on hold but didn't and she told the manager he wanted to hold and the manger told her to hang up. We called corporate and the lady was nice. She said she called the store and they would call us and make it right. That was yesterday and we still have not received a call. I now have a useless vent a hood microwave. Come to find out the parts that are missing cost about $7. We spent $4500 in this store and they are willing to lose a customer over a part that would cost $7. WOW!!! And selling appliances you would think they would know this! Terrible customer service and serious high pressure sales! read more

Worst experience ever. Their price match guarantee is a joke. I bought TV 6 days ago. I noticed that a competitor had the exact same TV (same model same brand, same size) on sale for over 200.00 less. I came back to the store with the electronic ad but I was told I needed a print ad. I went home, found the paper ad and drove all the way back. So now I have been sitting at the store for OVER 30 minutes so they can decide if they are going to honor their own policy. If it were possible to give a more negative rating I surely would. read more

I would not recommend anyone here. The name really does say it all horrible in every aspect you can think of. The manager Jessie is about the worst manager to deal with, he doesn't understand what customer service is at all. I had the worst experience here and will not be back. If you buy a tv and don't like it expect to pay a restocking feel. I bought a 3000 tv that I'm unsatisfied with but to get a new one I have to pay $425 restocking fee. I don't think it's right that I just paid 3000 then have to pay an additional amount. Honestly this is one of the worst experiences iv ever had. Then to top it off I said I just want to return the whole tv back but regardless I have to pay 425 restocking fee. Bad bad company. Conns will con you read more

Went in being a returning customer, who's never been late, missed a payment and have used Conns for years and online they advertised a sectional that I loved at a huge discount plus either a free tv or free delivery. We looked around and met the minimum- my credit was opened to $9,000. We started the application process and just before the pushy salesman was about to finalize the sale he said the online price and free delivery stopped yesterday(Saturday), even though the online offer was through the following Wednesday. Which of course made about $700 difference and said that it was still such a great deal- which is wasn't and after a few minutes bickering back and forth we told him we were going elsewhere. They were rude and definitely earned the horrible reviews they have on here. We ended up going to Ashley's and not only found a sectional that was exceptional and at a better price, monthly and overall we were treated with respect and never pushed to close the sale. WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO CONNS-I'VE SEEN THE LIGHT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY ON THIS DUMP! read more

Absolutely the WORST store I've ever shopped at. The salespeople don't know what they're doing, since their turnover is so high. You never see the same salesperson, twice. The return policy goes back to the 50's: You are brow beaten when you bring an item back, a manager is called in to examine the return with a fine-tooth comb, and then you are charged a re-stocking fee! There is a reason these stores open and close in large cities: People in bigger cities won't take the garbage this store hands them, in general. The strategy of this company now seems to be to open in small towns. Be warned: This store is terrible, in all ways! read more

I have bought several things from this store and I have always been treated with respect. I will be in there soon for a washer and dryer

Last year I went into the North Austin store and was treated like crap while trying to buy an OLED TV. The experience was so bad I swore them off but decided to try another store in Austin. I did get much better service and was well taken care of. I purchased a dinner table and 4 chairs. It could hold 6 so I told sales I would come back at a later time to get two more. So this year I decided to get the two extra chairs and two bar stools. Not only did they force us to buy the delivery service for $150 but they also added their insurance although we have our own and they had on record. No I have to have that removed. How do the force the delivery fee you ask? The only way I could get the chairs without paying it was to drive to San Antonio and pick them up myself. Nope, they would not bring them to the store at all so I could pick up. So why when I told sales a year ago I was going to order two more chairs later was I not told I would have to pay $150 again? And on top of that they broke one of the chairs. Cons lives up to it's name. read more

Hello, everyone. Don't go to Conn's. They have the worst customer service. They are truly CONN-Artists. We bought a TV and when the price went down a month later, they would not honor it by giving us the credit for their own price reduction. We spoke to the manager, Andrew multiple times, we went to the store multiple times and we called corporate multiple times. They gave us the round around and lots of excuses. We called Corporate today and they still gave us the round around. Please buy at Best Buy, Target or Walmart. They are 100% customer guaranteed satisfaction and they do have real price match and price reduction if the items goes on sale. Don't waste your time at Conns. read more

**DO NOT TRUST THEM OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CONN'S!!!** This is long but you need to read this or risk it happening to you. We have been LOYAL Conn's customers for 12 years. I have furnished and re-furnished our 2 houses with appliances and furniture from Conn's. My daughter and son-in-law have also purchased many items from them. Our LG refrigerator has broken down 3 times since we purchased it on 2015. I had it repaired the first two times with few problems so I am, understandably, so horribly surprised at how I am being treated by them now. I called on October 22, 2018 to schedule a service call because the refrigerator was just not cooling to temperature anymore. I was told that a technician could not be scheduled to show up until November 1, 2018 and I felt that almost two weeks to even get anybody to see the fridge was inconvenient but I understood and set the appointment anyway. The 1st comes along and a technician shows up at our door (1st day that I take off work to wait for them) and, after looking at the appliance, his expert opinion was that it needs a new compressor but that it has to be ordered and it won't arrive until the November 6th. I say "OK order the part and I will see you on the 6th." At this point I am fairly annoyed but I understand that these things take time (from the first two times that this fridge has broken down, as well as the other 4 refrigerators that I have purchased through them). The 6th arrives (I take a second day off work) and I get a call at around 12PM or so and they tell me that the part did not arrive and I will have to be rescheduled until the 14th. To my surprise, I get an email titled "Service Parts Received" at 12:51pm 11/6/2018 and I called to see if they can schedule me at an earlier date since they now have my part in their warehouse. THEY WOULD NOT RESCHEDULE ME to an earlier date ( I don't know how that makes any sense since the appointment was missed through fault of their own and not mine but...). I am very visibly upset at this point but I just tell them to go ahead with the appointment since I need a (WORKING) refrigerator for Thanksgiving and it was just around the corner. On the 14th (my third day missing work for this) I have already received an email telling me to expect them in the morning. I wait until 3:00pm when I get a phone call from the technician himself telling me that he is running behind but that he has my part and will be at my home by 6:00pm that day. I wait until 7:30pm and I HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO CONTACT CONN'S to ask them what is going on. I am now told that the tech had a family emergency and that I will be rescheduled, again, on the 17th. I AM FUMING I drive to the Conn's at Southpark Meadows the next day and demand to be rescheduled to the next immediate spot (IT WAS THEIR FAULT I MISSED THE APPOINTMENT). I get told that they can't do anything. Now we're at today November 17th 2018 (4th day off work). A technician arrived at my home and was confused to find out that the compressor had not been changed. He was under the impression that the last technician swapped out the compressor on the 14th and was just here to check the pressure on the compressor in question. He arrived at my home completely unaware and unprepared for my situation. I now want a new fridge, as their warranty agreement states that if they cannot fix it, they'll replace it. The incompetence of the Conn's repair service team in Austin has proven that they cannot fix my fridge. I was on the phone with them for an hour today and I cannot get anyone to guarantee me getting a fridge by this Thursday (Thanksgiving). I have over 40 family members coming from out of town for the holiday and I have nothing ready. I have never been treated so horribly by any company and it hurts particularly because I have been such a loyal customer for so many years. I will be paying off any accounts I still have open with them and will advice my daughter, son, and siblings, to never step foot in another Conn's store again. I guess it is true that Conn's cons their customers. read more

Read This Before You make a purchase. I financed a Freezer and AC window unit from them around August 3, 2015. The payments were supposed to be 97.70, but was told if I paid $118.00 a month that it would pay of at 12 months with there cash option. I made the first payment a week early and I imputed the wrong account number when I set up my bill pay threw my bank RBFCU. I found out there was a problem the day after my account was due when Conn's called for there payment on 9-15-2015. I immediately called my bill pay system and got on a 3 way call with Conn's and my bank. My Bank explained that the payment went out and they cashed it. The Conn's employee said yes we see it but it was put into the wrong account but that they would correct it and everything would be fine. They gave us the correct account number and it was corrected with my bank while we were all still on the three way call. A month goes by and I receive a call that my account was pass due. So I called Conn's back and was told Even though my second payment posted my first had not so I was very passed due and still missing my first payment. I explained to them what happened at what I was told and was assured again it would be corrected. A month Later again I received a call that I was passed due so I called again and explained again and this time I was told they would not correct the issue unless i faxed them a copy of my bank statement showing the payment deducted from my account, even though they could see this in there system and I was already told month after month this would be corrected. To say the least I was not happy no I haft to give them personal information, so I complied and went down to Fedex and faxed it over. A month goes by and I get a phone call when the payment was due again saying I was passed due. I called back and explained everything again and this time I asked to speak to a the department that handles this situation, and was told I cant. I said what due you mean, they said they could message them but customers could not speak to them. So they were saying that there customer service department is like a buffer, and you are not allowed to speak to a person that can actually fix the situation. They said I could request a call back so I did. A few days later I received a call from this special department. I explained everything that had happened so far and they said they never received my bank statement even though in my opinion it wasn't necessary I followed there instructions and faxed it again at are local Fed ex location. I was told I would receive a call back if there were any other problems. I did not get a phone call until the next month when the payment was do and once again there was the same problem. For 2 more months I went threw the same problem and finally I was told once in for all it was corrected. It took them over 6 months to fix the problem in there system. Then Right before my 12 month which should pay off my account I received a letter saying my Cash option was taken of my account and I would haft to pay 6 additional payments. So once again i called and complained because i had made every payment early and at the 118 amount. I was told that it was taken away because of payment delinquency on my account. I explained the situation and was told they would submit this in for a correction. The next month I received a bill showing that i still owed the 6 months I called again and same thing. I went ahead and made the payment to keep my account in good standing. I have called every month since and in January was told that special department that makes the decision but you cant speak with said it was my fault and i would haft to pay all the payments with no cash option. I explained I could prove it with my bank account and was told there decision was final. This was not the first time we were ripped of by this company but was already in this new contract with them when we found out what they had done to us on a few other accounts other wise we wouldn't have purchased this with them. We did not realize we could have reported them until a friend suggested it, or we would have with the other accounts as well. What they did there was even worse. I think what they have done here is despicable and the way they have set up there customer service dosnt allow you to get your point across with the right person. I tried contacting there cooperate office but everything is insulated and sends you back to the department that cant do anything. With just this account they owe me over 700 dollars and I can prove it. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I tell everyone to stay away. read more

So, they ran my credit twice without me knowing it. I end up getting two Conn's credit cards issued by Synchrony bank in the mail. I already have a Conn's card. What happened? I made several calls to both Conn's and Synchrony bank, but no one can help. I'm wondering at this point if this is even legal. Conn's is a deceitful place and the name is fitting. Bad service, overpriced junk, and be careful with your credit there. You can be tricked into applying for credit without your knowledge and then one day you have not one, but two new credit cards from the same place. Don't make my mistake. There are plenty of other fine retailers. They may not be perfect, but at least they won't Conn you. read more

Short Review Full Story below: Conns is true to there name for they are con-artist. They tell you that they value their customers and that they provide the best service possible. But after financing through them if you are late at all you will be harassed every day until you make your payment. Then their service department wants you to spend an entire day based on their schedule to receive service, and will even cancel without letting you know. Don,t use this company for any of your electronic needs. The Tv we got is only two years old and seems to be going out already. I BUMPED THIS BY A STAR BECAUSE THEIR TECH GUS BURNS WAS VERY HELPFUL. However I am still not happy with Conns because they are not allowing for the insurance and service agreement that I paid for in full to carry over to the new tv. FULL STORY: Two years ago we went to Conns to pick up a new Tv and soundbar. We received financing through them the agreement states that you have ten days past the due date to make your payment without a penalty which is the exact destination of a grace period. I had some changes to my job and needed to make my payment a few days late I notified them of this before the bill was due and they said that would be fine. Yet they began to call me the day after it was due at least 4 times a day to ask for their payment. I called them and explained that I had already notified them of when I was going to make the payment but was sure how the payment would be made, and asked if I could be taken off their call list. They said that they couldnt because it was an automated list. I asked to speak to a sup and explained that this was disturbing me while I was at work, but they stated the same thing. This doesnt make since to me why have a grace period if you are going to harass your customers during that time. I ended up getting a personal loan to take care of what I owed Conns so that way I wouldnt be harassed and could work along side someone that cares for their customers. Meanwhile, I still have insurance through conns, and after only two years of having our tv it is beginning to have a lot of issues. I have tried to setup service recently for the new issues that are coming up. The first scheduled app they canceled on me without notifying me. I was at home on Saturday waiting for a call about what time they were going to come to service the tv, and ended up calling them to only find out that it was cancelled. I rescheduled for another Saturday and they contacted me on Tue to say they had to cancel that one due to no tech being on duty. Long story short i have had to go back and forth with them for a week to get this scheduled. Sad part is that if we cancel on them with late notice they charge their customers a fee. I dont get having insurance if I cant get the tv serviced...but oh well that is what you can expect from a CONN artist. I bumped this review one star because I finally got service on my tv, and Gus Burns was an awesome tech. He knew his information and was extremely helpful. Unfortunately the Tv has to be replaced after only two years of us having it. Now, I am in a battle to find out why the service agreement and insurance that I paid in full for cant be carried over to a new unit. I DO WANT TO THANK GUS FOR SHOWING THAT AT LEAST ONE PERSON AT CONNS KNOWS HOW TO TAKE CARE OF HIS CLIENTS. CONNS YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOUR TECH WHO CARES ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. read more

"Quality customer service" Is a joke! I purchased a leather sofa a year and half ago and was talked into purchasing the extended warranty because it covers wear and tear to include "fading, peeling, discoloration or flaking of the fabric" After a year and half i have some flaking that is occurring on the chase portion. I call service and they flat out say they do not cover "fading, peeling, discoloration or flaking of the fabric" i asked to speak to a supervisor and i was put through to a vm and my call not returned. Sunday i visit the Conn's in South Park Meadows where i purchased and spoke with manager Richard N. and he confirmed that "fading, peeling, discoloration or flaking of the fabric" are covered and he would reach out to service on my behalf. I received a call from Conns service 409-832-1696 and was told again that they would not cover this. I advise them that i was sold a lie and this needs to be made right either by addressing the issue with my couch or refunding me the full price of the extended warranty on my couch as it does not cover "fading, peeling, discoloration or flaking of the fabric" as i was repeatedly advised by sales and sales management, they refused so. CONNS NEEDS TO MAKE SOME EFFORT TO MAKE THIS RIGHT!! I'm not trying to get one over on CONN's I just want what i was sold that's all! read more

We just bought a 75 inch 4k Samsung tv on 6/5/16. Got the tv delivered on 6/11/16 it was working fine. Until 6/12/16 the tv went black, you can still hear the sound, but no picture. Called Conn's on 6/12/16 and they had to send out a guy to make sure that the tv was broken. 2 guys came on 6/14/16 and confirmed it was broken. They said that we would get a new replacement within 24-48 hours. That didn't happen. I called today and the delivery center didn't have a ticket for a replacement. They had me call the sales rep. The sales rep said to call the service center and that they would know what is going on. They sure didn't. They said that they couldn't help me and that I needed the delivery center. So here I go again calling the delivery center and they told me that they need to have a guy come out to check if the tv is broken!!! We just went through this!!! We can't keep taking time off of work to do the same things over again. But, they said that I would need to call the service center again to schedule that. NOTHING BUT CIRCLES. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Worst customer services experience EVER!!!!! I am so sick of this, I am just going to return this damn tv. Good thing I haven't paid for this crap yet. These people need to get trained better on what they are doing. Or re-evaluate who trained them. Ridiculous! read more

I will never buy anything at Conn's again. They have a super high interest rate and their furniture is such low quality. I have paid around 6000 dollars for a living room set and I still owe them 2000 dollars. That is crazy. I just don't want to affect my credit history. Otherwise I would of give up and don't pay a damn shit. After a year my sofa started braking and peeling off. I'm so disappointed. I feel like Im wasting my money. Once I pay off my full balance I sure will consider Rooms To Go. They sound way so much fair. read more

This is the worst place ever. All they do is give you the run around about anything. Makes me question the training there. I bought a 75' Samsung tv and after 1 year a green line appeared down the front. I called the service department to come out and on the day they were suppose to come the tech called and said he's over booked. What a joke, but you harass anyone a day late on a payment. I will never buy there again and I will advise anyone I know looking to buy not to. read more

I was referred to Conns by a family member that's been a member for years, and I came here with my fiance and had a horrible experience with a man by the name of "Dagoberto Rivera" whom was rude, pouting and yelling at us. This was the utmost worst sales experience I've had in my life, this man should be fired. I'll never be coming to Conns again and my family has withdrawn their membership. read more

Don't like anything about their service. They are rude, they kepped me on hold and never answered when the put me on hold ,and no one ever called me back read more

They don't even deserve one star. Worst experience ever. The salesman wouldn't stop saying he was shooting me straight even though he didn't know what he was talking about. We agreed on one price which he has to get approval from the manager and he then proceeded to sign all the paperwork without my knowledge. I never got a copy of my contract until I went back into he store and refused to leave until I got a copy which the emailed to me. Once I saw the price and the payment I knew I had been screwed and no one seems to care. I told them I didn't want the furniture any more and to come pick it up and they said they don't take back furniture... which I would have known if I saw the contract. My entire experience has been horrible and the management at this store doesn't care as long as they get their sale. read more
