absolute terrible experience here and do not recommend. we had a broken computer screen and they said that it would be fixed and done in around 3-4 days and it would be around 200-250 dollar estimate but we instead did not get any response for a week and a half from this company and we were later told it would cost 450 basically double the original estimate. We were told we would not receive any compensation after paying a 85 dollar diagnostic fee and for anyone who is thinking of coming to get anything done from this company this is your sign to not as this local buisness cares little of customer service and instead scams you out of your time and money. read more

Called here today looking for a used PC on a particularly tight budget. We went to microcenter first and the reps there made me and my wife feel embarrassed about not having $1000+ to spend. We asked to see a cheaper pc they had in stock and they pushed us to not look at it and just stick to looking at the expensive ones. It upset us so bad that I decided to call around and that's when I found computer zone! Brant and Tommy helped us out today, they understood our budget and made great recommendations, they were able to customize the components they sold us to our needs and best of all they gave us a fantastic deal! Honestly they far exceeded our expectations. They let my wife pick out what was most important to her on the build and still came in a little under our budget all said and done. No pressure, they put a fresh install of windows on it, and treated us with respect. They even offer a 90 day warranty on their used parts so you have some time to test it all out and make sure there isn't any issues. I couldn't speak highly enough about these gents. I broke my brand new company laptop -- just started at the job. The screen had popped up in several places, but I couldn't get it to pop back in. My family used to go to this place back in the day and I decided to go back since it is close to our home. I went right before closing thinking they wouldn't be able to help since it was late. The gentleman fixed it for free within 2 minutes. He definitely knew what he was doing. Apparently they are under new ownership and the place looked AWESOME. Oh my gosh, trust the experts at Computer Zone to give you honest, quick and thorough service with your computer issues, and, at a terrific cost. I have used a number of well known computer repair outlets and NONE does it better. I took my Toshiba Satellite (2016!) to Computer Zone to correct a sticky and jumpy mouse, and, within minutes was told I needed to change out to a larger sold-state hard drive. I also found out that my battery had expanded to the point it was a fire hazard. On this point, make sure your battery is checked every so often to ensure your current battery doesn't create major issues for your household. Computer Zone replaced mine for about $50. The work done on my computer included a new hard-drive, they upgraded my RAM for free, cloned HDD to SSD so all my contents stayed exactly as when I left my computer. The new owners are top-notch, knowledgeable, fun people and I couldn't be more pleased. WOW, they are good to work with. read more

Took my laptop In because it wouldn't turn on, I was told it would be 3 days before they could look at it and that was fine. After a week I called and they said it would be another few days before they could take a look at it. After about 12 days they called me and said that the charger was bad and they would order me a new one. When the new one came in it tuned out they ordered me the wrong one. They refunded me the amount for the charger but I was still left with a $40-50 diagnostic fee. They told me to just order my own charger which I ended up doing, but that's not the worst part. The charger wasn't even the issue. I got 2 new chargers and my laptop still doesn't work, I payed $50 and went 3 weeks without my laptop just to find out the diagnosis they gave me was wrong. read more

I used to work at computer zone and I must say that they have every intention to fix all the computers with the best possible solution. Sure, sometimes things dont work out so well, but thats life. Its just a small noncorporate shop but thats the appeal of it. You wont get a bunch of salesmen or corporate people doing what they are told by their bosses. Took my computer in after it wouldn't load Windows. They told me the likely causes and told me the potential costs to fix it up front. Once they diagnosed the hard drive was the problem they communicated this to me, confirmed the price to repair, put in a new SSD, and had it back to me the next day. My computer runs better than before and the repair cost was far cheaper than it would have been to replace the computer with a comparable new one. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!! Went in for a cracked screen on my I-pad, they busted the button at the bottom of the I -pad, although they replaced the screen but, totally broke my I-pad!!! They offered me nothing...........I had to pay 249.00 to get it fixed and they won't return my calls!!!! read more

This has to be some of the worst customer service that I have experienced. I took my laptop in to have the backlight replaced...pretty simple task. I got it back a week later and there was something wrong with the screen. I took it in the next day, they said that they would call me that evening when it was finished. I never got the call. I called the next evening and they said it was ready, so I went the following morning to pick it up only to find that the computer was not there. They said it was with the Tech and he had not brought it back yet. They said that they were not sure what time he was coming back. These guys are so arrogant. I literally had to threaten the manager with filing a police report to get my laptop back. read more

The person checking out my computer was absolutely rude. He brought out 2 computers that were not mine and as I told him they were not mine he argued with me saying he remembers me bringing them in. I continued to say those are not mine. He continued arguing with me. I then saw the tags which had 2 different customer names neither mine. I asked to speak to the manager ...manager was just as rude and not helpful at all. Finally after 20 minutes they find my computer and try to ask if they can fix it....are you kidding me!!! Apparently it was "lost" and not even looked at. Do not waste your time here. read more

Terrible service. They gave us a total of four different dates when the computer would be finished. After two weeks I called and told them not to perform the work, and that I would pick the device up. When I picked it up, we realized later that night that the computer had been damaged while in their care. Major scratches and at least one physical tear near the hinge. Little to no communication and then damaging the computer has left a sour taste in our mouths. We will not be back. They damaged the computer and have made no attempt to cover the damages. read more

Computer Zone has had 4 attempts to repair my laptop and after charging me additional fees for unauthorized upgrade to RAM, I still have the same issues. There was virtually no communication on their part on what was being done, what they diagnosed or what was needed to fix the problem. In addition, on the final attempt by them to repair, my laptop was returned with exterior panels missing. I will go elsewhere for future needs. read more

The laptop repair was not done on time. When I called to check on it, no one would answer the phone. I had to drive in to check on it. The wrong size screen was ordered. The solution was to try and jury rig the undersized screen. After this was discussed it was brought up the the correct size screen could be ordered but it would take longer. I am now sitting in the parking lot trying to get the laptop out but no one has shown up to work 50 minutes after opening time. I will not be bring any further business here. read more

have used several times keep trying to support local small business. When they have your computer takes longer, once they had for months "jake was busy or could not find it" most the time they indicate not worth fixing and latest escipade found the same model on line 100$ less and Brand said owner sick in the back cannot be disturbed made a deal to discount the work...big lie he upcharged for the work as I found out the next day when I went to pick the new computer up.
