I spoke to a person who said they needed to look at it, but it could be either no charge or up to a small fee to take the screws out, depending on complexity. Very simply (because I am not tech savvy at all), I turned on my very old computer to see a screen that showed only date and time and nothing else. After turning the computer off and on several times and not getting a different response, I took it to Peachtree Computers. My desktop would not boot into windows. I am pretty decent with computers but this time, after multiple attempts, I needed a pro. Based on the reviews, I came to this place, primarily because I felt this place is ethical, and most importantly, would keep my data safe. These guys know what they are doing, and they are polite, fast and fair. I received my call back the next day and I was offered several choices for remediating the issue. Their diagnosis of the issue was accurate, I had experienced some issues with the v-card, and after its replacement, the desktop was brought back to life. Instead of dropping $$$$ on another build, they saved my desktop, and it only cost me less than $80. I want to give 0 stars because this was a waste of $400. They put a defective screen replacement on my Macbook air. The first day I I got my laptop back from Peachtree Computers, I noticed the screen feeling loose but I decided not to make a big deal of it , then after a week it cracked from simply touching my screen which is insane. The customer service was really bad as well. Not friendly or even offered a solution when I brought my MacBook back to the store to show them what happened after they "repaired" my laptop. I assumed I got a faulty part, when I asked who they get their screens from, the guy at the front desk proceeded to beat around the bush. Then proceeded to ask me to pay an additional $300 for the same service after they did it incorrectly and left me with a loose and faulty screen repair the first time. Literally a scam. Piece of advice: If you have a screen that needs replacing please just take it to the Apple Store. You'll end up wasting your money in the long run trying to go to a third party place. I've been to a few 3rd party computer repair shops after Apple informed me they could not do particular repairs on laptops. Many other computer repair shops would ask for a deposit, and in 2-3 days, I'd receive a call and the charge to fix most issues was comparable to purchasing a used laptop. Typically, no explanation was given, and they'd have to diagnose the issue & charge a diagnostic charge. Once I found Peachtree Computers, I've never used any other company. They explain all issues quite simply, and usually have the repair done the same day. Very reasonably priced, and they will walk you through any questions you have. They also always let me know if I have any questions, to please call or stop back in, and they'll gladly help with any issues. Peachtree Computers fixed my busted-a** iPhone7 Plus battery, which had a total max capacity of 77%. I couldn't travel around a major city without rocking an external battery and cord, and ya know that looks whack in the pocket. (Haha.) I used the wonderful, Request a Quote function on Yelp, and I received pricing from four different companies. I leaned towards the biz with more reviews from Elites and chose this place. Glad I did. Despite driving an extra 15-minutes, I loved the entire process of receiving a new replacement battery. The dude who I spoke to at the store seemed chill. The price set me back $40. And it only took half an hour. I didn't take pics of the store or check-in since 1) I forgot to do that prior to entering the store and 2) obviously, they fixed my phone so I didn't have it on hand, but I highly recommend Peachtree Computers. I'm always iffy of having my computer looked at since I know how shady companies can be. I have software that isn't working on my laptop that the software company states should be working fine and it must be my computer so I let Peachtree take a look. The diagnostic is free and took 24 hours to complete. They called and said there wasn't anything they could find, no virus or anything. I already knew there was no way it was my computer but had to do the process of elimination. My problem is not fixed, however, 5 stars all the way for being an ethical company and not just telling me I need something when I don't. read more

I highly recommend Peachtree Computers, maybe that is enough for you, but here I provide a lot of details. I have a NAS that I use to back up all my data. It failed. I ordered a power supply, that never came. Months later, the motherboard in my laptop failed, giving me the Blue Screen Of Death, on windows 10. I have an express service contract on my Dell laptop, but they wanted to reinstall windows from scratch and wipe everything. But, for months I had not been backing up my data. So, I looked for computer specialists on recovering data. I narrowed it down to two here in Atlants, and called both and discussed the issue. I decided to go with Peachtree Computers and am so glad I did. They recovered the data, overcoming several setbacks, including the fact that Dell had implemented microsoft's bitlock encryption, without asking and without giving me the encryption key. Then, as I was troubleshooting the NAS, I narrowed the problem to a failed transistor on the motherboard. But it is a SMD - surface mount device. And I don't have the most appropriate equipment for that, or the experience. So I asked Peachtree Computers how much they would charge me to use their hot air desolder/solder capability to replace the transitor for me, and Aaron (I think I delt mostly with Jeff on the laptop) said they would do that as a free favor. I'm not sure he would like that I share that - but it demonstrates the kind of company that this is. Highly recomended. read more

It was such a great experience after being told by Apple my MacBook needed a new battery they said I would have to leave it with them for 7 to 10 days so it could be in the line to be replaced. I asked can I not bring it in the day before you would start work and they said not at all. Peachtree did a diagnostic to confirm battery with a hour and then ordered the part for me. When the part arrived I brought it in and they replaced within a couple hours and wore willing to schedule an appointment. I also checked with another shop local and they have followed Apple's policy of leave and 7 to 10 days. Peachtree Computers was willing to work with me and had awesome customer service. read more

I had an old Mac book pro that I thought was bricked. I wanted to get some photos off of this computer so I took it in. Sadly they weren't able to retrieve the photos due to some serious corruption in the hd, but they swapped out the hd and cleaned it up real nice. Gave me some recommendations to where I might be able to recover the photos. Overall super friendly and informative crew, fast and reliable service. Got an iPhoneXR screen repair here - customer service and screen was great, but the screen protector (which was added for a fee) made it nearly impossible to use the screen, reducing the touch sensitivity to where I couldn't type on my phone. Otherwise, good experience, but would warn against getting the screen protector, unless I just received a faulty one. read more
