If you're paying for high-speed internet (100+ mbps) and are getting far less, you owe it to yourself to get it working correctly. I called Electronic Minions for help troubleshooting my home network. They responded to my email on Friday, came out for a preliminary assessment on Monday, and completed the entire job on Tuesday. Harris (the owner) is a networking guy. He knows how to go about troubleshooting home or business networks. While he, like most other tech services, have preference on brands of products, he's transparent and honest. He diagnosed my issues, suggested a fix, charged me his cost for the hardware, and a reasonable cost for installation. He's prompt, knowledgeable, and will offer you options at varying cost that you can consider before signing below. Is it cheap? No. Should it be? Absolutely not. Our house has doorbells, cameras, phones, media players, TVs, game consoles, thermostats, and computers. Literally dozens of devices that rely on a fast, consistent signal. I feel like he charged me a reasonable price, will follow up to ensure that it works as advertised, and was open and honest in troubleshooting and offering a solution. I thought that steep, it's about what I paid to have it all installed including the cost of the antenna 6 years ago by the now retired Cliff at Atlanta Antenna. While the chimney is on the second floor, it's accessible by climbing from the first story over the garage. Anyway, sent photos from the ground and was basically told it would be easier to replace the antenna for the $250 plus the cost of the antenna. What? Then we paid our deposit and was scheduled. 2 days prior to the install date I called the companies office where a young lady answered. I asked her if the company provided any 3d renderings or images so we could be sure that we were on the same page. The lady stated that someone, I forget the name, was a VISIONARY and they do not provide images. We did not care for anyone's vision other than ours because we must live with it and we knew what we wanted. The day of the install. The sub-contractor shows up and proceeds to build. As I see the wall shaping up and did not look like what I expressed in my consultation. The guy says that to do what I ask it would be an additional $800 and I should pay him directly. Which after seeing more progress, was what I ordered in the first place. On a call with the owner of the company, which he acted as if he didn't know what was going on, we had to pause the project to have a meeting because I felt as if the sub was trying to hustle me. The sub constructed my wall with a wood veneer, and it was supposed to be drywall to flow in consistency with the rest of the room. I did not ask for wood, nor do we like it. After they were aware of their mistake, they spent time trying to convince us that what was done was better than what we asked for and that we should accept that. NO! the additional time, labor and costs are yours to deliver what we ordered. After this we were then rescheduled to complete this project only to again have poor communication with scheduling. The second day they come back they left a guy here to do drywall and the guy came to me and said he was not left with the proper amount of material to finish. I had to go buy the materials. As I expressed my dislike for having to do this with the owner, her is his response "This is something that can happen. You cannot calculate exact parts for the job, especially if it's custom and there are no descriptions of materials only a picture. I will go ahead and contact....". The guy measured and built a wall, and you say you can't calculate materials? WOW, so someone is incompetent. I own a business in a similar field, and I have never had to have a client go to the store. This is a piece of Sxxt operation ran by people with zero business acumen. Points: 1. Lack of communication between company and subcontractor. 2. Design was not the same as build. 3. I had to install dust barriers and floor coverings to protect my home. 4. Poor communication between us and the company. 5. We had to go out and buy materials. 6. They used my ladder/equipment. 7. Came unprepared daily 8. Poor scheduling and time management I totally regret giving these people my business.

He fixed our custom-built pantry shelves, in addition to adding another shelf, replaced baseboards, fixed an accent wall, added shelving to our laundry room, and installed overhead garage storage for us. The best thing about working with Jay, was that he had good input for us in helping to figure out what we wanted to do with our laundry room and to fix the broken design on our accent wall. When he was trying to figure out where to hang our clothes rack in the laundry room, he had the foresight to measure my arms to get a good sense of where to hang the rack since my wife wasn't around to say exactly how high she wanted it installed.
