We thought we were hiring a quality, professional company that would provide a high-quality product and experience. What we got was the complete opposite. The initial consultation went well. Then we paid our deposit and was scheduled. 2 days prior to the install date I called the companies office where a young lady answered. I asked her if the company provided any 3d renderings or images so we could be sure that we were on the same page. The lady stated that someone, I forget the name, was a VISIONARY and they do not provide images. We did not care for anyone's vision other than ours because we must live with it and we knew what we wanted. The day of the install. The sub-contractor shows up and proceeds to build. As I see the wall shaping up and did not look like what I expressed in my consultation. The guy says that to do what I ask it would be an additional $800 and I should pay him directly. Which after seeing more progress, was what I ordered in the first place. On a call with the owner of the company, which he acted as if he didn't know what was going on, we had to pause the project to have a meeting because I felt as if the sub was trying to hustle me. The sub constructed my wall with a wood veneer, and it was supposed to be drywall to flow in consistency with the rest of the room. I did not ask for wood, nor do we like it. After they were aware of their mistake, they spent time trying to convince us that what was done was better than what we asked for and that we should accept that. NO! the additional time, labor and costs are yours to deliver what we ordered. After this we were then rescheduled to complete this project only to again have poor communication with scheduling. The second day they come back they left a guy here to do drywall and the guy came to me and said he was not left with the proper amount of material to finish. I had to go buy the materials. As I expressed my dislike for having to do this with the owner, her is his response "This is something that can happen. You cannot calculate exact parts for the job, especially if it's custom and there are no descriptions of materials only a picture. I will go ahead and contact....". The guy measured and built a wall, and you say you can't calculate materials? WOW, so someone is incompetent. I own a business in a similar field, and I have never had to have a client go to the store. This is a piece of Sxxt operation ran by people with zero business acumen. Points: 1. Lack of communication between company and subcontractor. 2. Design was not the same as build. 3. I had to install dust barriers and floor coverings to protect my home. 4. Poor communication between us and the company. 5. We had to go out and buy materials. 6. They used my ladder/equipment. 7. Came unprepared daily 8. Poor scheduling and time management I totally regret giving these people my business. read more

The single downside was a 2 hour delay for my appointment, which is understandable given their workload, but still an inconvenience. That's the only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars. Very friendly and informative. They worked with me on my availability and arrived on time to do my installs inside and on my patio. They explained everything that they were doing to me at every step and even recommended better options for me than what I thought. Horrible. Did a poor job, that didn't work. They did not come out to fix it. After they were done, my Receiver had a blown channel, and they would not refund any of the fee I paid up front. The sales person who initially came out told us it was a simple problem of the music app we had (HEOS) being a bad app and the solution was a better app (Sonos). They asked to be paid up front by account transfer - I opted to bring a cheque to their office. The technicians came late to the appointment we made to have the Sonos installed - one did the work, the other hung out on his phone. The system worked for 1 hour until it experienced the same problems as the HEOS and one of the channels on our receiver (a 1 year old Denon) stopped working. I called and asked to have it fixed. They made a couple of appointments to come out but did not show up. I then asked for a refund and was told that SONOS did not give refunds. I asked for a refund of the installation fee and they refused. Terrible Experience!! I am happy to share the emails and texts if desire. read more

No more than an hour to remove and install a television. He asked questions to make sure that he was getting the job done the way I wanted it. This is not a reputable company. They are con artists. They came into our home, pretended to design a universal remote system, but they couldn't make it work. The second set of techs said the first techs were mistaken, and I needed to buy a new TV to make the system work. I purchased the new TV through them, and they still couldn't make the system work. They claimed that the remote only needed to connect to the internet, so I paid him. They left, and 2 hours later, nothing works in my house. This is not a professional company. They are con artist. After experiencing a less than stellar visit from the Geek Squad, I reached out to several business in the metro area for a quote to mount my television over my fireplace. Ruredzo was able to come out the next day (ON A SUNDAY) to do the install. Dante was on time as promised and professional down to the booties to cover his shoes. I explained to him the complications the Geek Squad has with my setup and showed him the $200 mount they recommended that I buy in order for my television to be mounted over my fireplace since the original owner's mount would not work. Dante hopped into action, did his measurements and took the time to explain to me why the existing mount would not work nor the mount that the Geek Squad recommended for purchase. At that point, I felt as if I were at a loss. Dante assured me he would do everything he could to make sure my tv was mounted before I left. He's a man of his word. I would give zero stars if i could, This operation is completely bush league. After having a complete theater installation done back in 2018 by RMS. My remote (mx-1200) which they recommended and installed was outdated and needed to be reprogrammed. After just two years RMS was unable to complete the update for the newly installed components. They recommendation was to purchase a new Harmony 2400 for $500 and an additional $200 install. While not happy with a $700 fix for a simple reprogram, i accepted since I needed the theater to work properly. I scheduled the appointment for the install on December 14th. Ken Johnson the installer failed to show up for our 9-11am window to install the new remote. after 11am I called to get an update they stated the remote never showed up so they needed to reschedule. I was able to get a second installation date confirmed on Monday December 28th. Ken finally decided to show up with no remote (surprise), there for arrive to the second installation date with no hardware to install. Several days later after their second appointment the remote finally arrived. After take two days of work to wait around for the installer. We had a 153 lb, 2015 model touchscreen monitor that we wanted mounted to a wall for our son. I submitted a request online, and I received a call and quote from Dante by the very next day. RMS scheduled our install, and they notified me when they were in route. After they arrived and started working, I became concerned about the load capacity of the mount, but Luis and Dante found another mount that I was satisfied with. Luis and his son drove to retrieve the new mount, and they were still able to complete the install within a reasonable amount of time. The technicians at RMS Installs, Luis & Dante, were polite and competent. I am very hesitate, however, to recommend RMS because they did not stand behind their estimate and work. RMS quoted an estimate of $6700 for an integrated system in my home to be repaired and updated, I did not question the estimate and accepted it. When completed 2 items, my VCR and 2 back speakers, did not work. When I asked to correct this, I was told by the Director of Installation that this would require another visit which would be at least an additional $199. I relied upon their estimate and work to provide me an integrated system that worked and did not receive this. Their position is the project was to install some specific components but not an overall system that works. This is not acceptable. I will add, however, subsequent to that I had an issue which required reseting the system and they were very responsive on this with no charge. read more

I am so glad I reached out to RMS Installs, we had a nightmare situation at our place, with a lot of difficult issues. For years we had struggled with internet problems, we were so frustrated at how much money we had spent and what terrible internet coverage we had. Dante and his team stepped in and worked a miracle. Dante listened carefully to our concerns, he picked up on the frustration I was feeling as the lone IT person and ran with everything. He went above and beyond and helped us get business internet as essentially we run a family business from home. I wish I could report a better experience because it started off so well. I moved back to Roswell from the West Coast during the pandemic and needed to set my house up for 5x people to stream video calls for work and school. They responded and executed the initial job well and in a timely manner. Everything else after that was severely lacking. For months I have been asking for someone to come back and set up the profiles for devices on the network for limits and control over my kids access to WiFi and needed help when I've had issues with speed or consistent connection. At one point someone came out to look at my network and basically told me it was my internet provider that was the problem but on my own I proved I was getting full fiber speed to the house. The problem therefore lie with a network bottleneck. When I called the office numbers times, I was told the owner would call me back. Well that's been 2x months and three calls with not follow up. I guess after my initial investment in their services, that's all you get. There were other services I hoped to work with them on as I do have a home theater and would like a wireless sound system but I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

He recommended a couple of things I could do to improve my system but didn't try to over sell me on anything. He cleaned up my wires and made it so easy for the wife and kids to only have to push one button to turn everything on. He programmed everything perfectly.
