This is my go-to spot for electronics and tech. I've purchased everything from earbuds and Car mounts to TVs and laptops and networking systems. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are great. The only downsides are the lack of phone access to the stores, how far away their stores are and that there are only two in the area. read more

My experience this far has been great. I have been holding off on a 2k custom build for awhile just not having the confidence in the on line process. I ended up making the 120 mile drive to visit my daughter in Marietta and visited the Store and purchased a pre built for my wife. That was such a good experience I just today placed my custom build order. The communication has been on point and my build was accepted and based on the e mail has been started. I came here with a friend to get a pickup order. The area is a bit sketchy at night. The store was set up, easy to follow. It did take a while for someone to wait on us as they didn't have enough staff. My friend got a refurbished SSD. When we got home, we found that somebody had corrupted the SSD. It was basically bricked so you couldn't edit/add/delete anything. What was supposed to be 2TB was instead like 700MB of uneditable content. Microcenter accepts returns but I thought that they had a process of "refurbishing" before reselling and it seems somebody missed something here. The refurb was like $110 or something. They do accept returns but this location is not close to me so it's a bit of a pain to have to drive back to return the junk SSD. read more

I love Micro Centers in general. They have knowledgable staff members, huge selection, and prices that can't be beat. All that stuff is true about this Micro Center too, but my problem is more with their service center. First off, they seem seriously understaffed. They told me I'd get my computer back in 3-5 days, and after I contacted them on the 5th day, they told me the technician who was supposed to work on my computer had been out for the last 3 days... I had to drive 35mins to the store to find that out by the way. Second, when they finally did diagnose and fix the computer, the missed something SUPER basic. They didn't even test to see if both of my SSDs were working on the new motherboard they installed. It turned out to be a BIOS update, but the fact that they didn't check the SSDs or update the BIOS is kind of unacceptable. Third... After all that hassle and nonsense, I needed to take my PC back home. Unfortunately, in Atlanta, it rains... Like... A LOT. So, naturally, it was raining the evening I came by to pick up the computer. I asked if they had anything to protect my computer while I took it out to my car in the pouring rain. The best thing they could offer me was the cheapest trash bag I've ever seen... and as you can see in the photos, it didn't even really fit over the PC case. Did they end up fixing my computer? Yes. That's the only reason I didn't give this store a 1 star. read more

There was a time when a trip to Microcenter was fun. I rarely visit and this trip around the holidays reminds me why. The place is a mess. It's haphazard shelving of products, multiple prices on a single product so you have to sift through the boxes. Unhelpful help. Someone needs to do a new layout, organize, and get the place looking like new retail and not a grab bin electronic flea market. read more

We have shopped at this store since forever because they usually had the merchandise my husband wanted. Last time, we went into the store two sales associates were trying to help him find what he was looking for and finally the manager got involved. Customer service was below Yelping levels. My husband has interacted with customers most of his career, and he never complains. This was bad! He asked for a plastic bag. The manager said that they do not provide those anymore. My first time to a Micro Center was Thursday. I drove up from Birmingham AL to have a custom pc built. They were extremely helpful and I could not believe they had it ready to go in 3 hours. I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a custom pc but doesn't have the knowledge to build it themselves. I had a fantastic time updating my computer's architecture from the Am4 to the AM5. Valerie helped me find the bundle I wanted with an AMD 9 9900x and reminded me of the fact I had overlooked buying a psu. I am a huge fan of microcenter. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with microcenter over the past few years. The location i usually visit is the Overland Park Kansas location. Ive never had a problem with them. They have always gone above and beyond to earn my loyalty. Overland Park Kansas Microcenter is so fantastic that I will make my purchases with them over a cheeper price online. Today I called cooperate to verify that the exchange policy with an extended warranty would work the same way it did in Overland park. I was assured that since the printer I was exchanging was purchased less than three months ths ago my 3 year extended warranty would roll over to the exchanged item. When I got into the store the manager and employees used the F9 and F11 keyboard codes to bypass this exchange policy. They told my my three year protection plan was consumed and would not roll over even though the printer had the same issue as the earlier printer (Same Model) I had exchanged at the Overland Park Microcenter. They gave me a store gift card and told me I could go find my printer and check out. When I got back to the printer section a sales person told me they were sold out of my printer and suggested I purchase a much larger one for $200 more. I looked at my phone and saw that the stores live inventory still showed two in store and asked the salesperson again if there were two people in line with this printer and he said yes. I placed my online pickup order and received a confirmation email within 5 min that the printer the salesperson told me was out of stock was ready for pickup. I would not reccomend doing buisness with this microcenter. The sales associates at this location are more interested in hitting sales quotas and getting their perks than doing the right thing. I will be sharing this review with Jayz two cents and Linus. I ended up paying an extra $90 for the same printer and a new extended warranty even though I could provide receipts showing that they were in violation of their own exchange policy when an extended warranty had been purchased. read more

Can't say enough good about them. I have an issue with my PC and a warranty. I had to drive down from Chattanooga. They have been nice enough to jump right on it and try to get it fixed so I don't have to make another trip. Excellent customer service and I'll be back in February to have them build me a PC. Update: Unfortunately, they weren't able to get it addressed last night but that wasn't their fault. I came in about 530 and it was last minute. They did their best. With that said, they did jump on it this morning and our working on it as I type this. Still very happy with the experience overall. read more

When it comes to computers I'm the equivalent of a "functional illiterate." So, when my current home computer decided to give up the ghost I was in a bit of a quandry. A good friend and co-worker who is very knowledgeable about computers, etc., told me what to get and where to get it. Microcenter. The store was very busy but one of the salespeople eventually found me before I found him. He helped guide me to another salesman in the department I needed who immediately saw my list, made a couple of recommendations (regarding Windows 11), and then proceeded to put my order together, introducing me to the store manager in the process. The check-out line was long but incredibly efficient! The young woman who rang up my purchases was very cordial. For someone who really isn't well-schooled in all this Microcenter made it a very good experience. read more

I really like Micro Center, the store has good deals and prices on their merchandise in comparison to other electronic stores and the service is actually good...when you are able to get help. No one will approach you asking if you need help with something, at least that hasn't happened to me the multiple times I have been there. It's fairly easy to find what you are looking for as the aisles have descriptions over them. I enjoy this place and when I am in need of certain items and happen to be around an area that has a Micro Center, i definitely stop by and would recommend to others. If you're looking for apple care, save yourself the trouble and go to the Genius Bar. It's worth the drive This business is listed as a certified apple care provider, but they work on Apple products much too slowly to be of any use to me. After I showed up to my repair appointment, the manager informed me it would take more than two weeks before a technician would be able to even take a look at it. He then walked away and left me alone at the counter without another word I cancelled with them and made an appointment with the Genius Bar and they got to it right away and resolved the issue. read more

This place was recommended by a friend who worked at a cable place. I found an all in one. They match Amazon.com prices, specifically, and any where else. They have everything electronic plus accessories. They also have teacher stuff too, so basically it's a one stop supply stop. They have new products as well as refurbished, so just ask. I recently had a warranty laptop repair performed at this location and my experience was wonderful. From the intake of my laptop through the repair to the return, everyone here was kind, friendly, and informative. The technician (Karl) was great and kept me informed of every step. Hopefully, nothing else goes wrong (I've only the laptop for 2 months and it appears to have been a manufacturing defect), but if it does, I'm confident MicroCenter in Marietta will have me covered. read more

Micro center doesn't really value their customer relations, they are willing to make a customer very unhappy for as little as a few dollars. Not to mention misleading the public with false information. I bought an apple related product, I was offered to purchase insurance for the product at the date of buying it, it was in February, I agreed, but I wasn't told that executing on that insurance would be extra money ( for tax ) plus having no option other than to use that money IN the store, meaning they will not give you cash back or back to your credit card but only store credit. To begin with I asked for the same products but I was told they don't necessarily have it now, they can order it. and even if they did I still need to pay extra tax on the return/exchange with the broken product, so they did not have the product and I didn't want to wait to see if or when it can be ordered, their in stock any replacements were not what I wanted either. So I asked for the money to be returned as cash or to my card. To which I was refused. I also told the the manager that I was never told about needing to pay extra money as "tax " nor was I told I would only be able to get store credit. The manager said "I'm sorry you were not informed, however there's nothing I can do, you can only have store credit" . I asked him, being the manager, to make a decision - is he willing to give up on hundreds of dollars worth customer for that little money and he just repeated himself again. I'm VERY disappointed. This is really bad service, and bad judgment with regards to the situation. If Micro Center wants to charge extra when a product that they have sold insurance for, is being returned, and if they're not willing to give you anything other than store credit, they at least need to add a very specific and easy to read description of how that insurance works if they don't do that they are misleading the public. This is NOT about the money. I'm going to give that credit store card to someone as a gift and I will never return to Micro Center again. read more

I'm writing this update for Micro Center in East Cobb and upgrading them one star. The power supply on my desktop computer unexpectedly failed after six-plus years. After researching the issue (my computer wouldn't turn on), trying the paper clip test (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixcWCrYpw3Y), and receiving advice from friends, I decided to stop by Micro Center during my lunch break to pick up a new power supply. If it didn't work out for whatever reason, I had 30 days to return it for a full refund. Like my video card issue years ago (different computer), Micro Center came through again when I was in a pinch. There was no need for me to order online and wait for the part to be delivered. I just walked into the store and got what I needed. The store was surprisingly busy during my Wednesday lunch visit. Manager ("Sales Supervisor") Nathan Brookshire greeted me in-store and I told him what my problem was. I brought my old power supply so I could match or exceed the wattage rating, dimensions, and cables/connections. After showing Nathan my old power supply, he led me to exactly what I needed: an Inland ATX ILG-500R2 500 W Power Supply. Regularly priced at $49.99, Nathan told me it was on sale for $29.99. I lucked out. There were many other power supplies to choose from, but Nathan said the one he picked out was the best bang for my buck, especially in terms of quality. It carried a three-year warranty. Just to make sure I had the right power supply, Nathan opened one of the boxes so we could match up the dimensions, screw holes, and cables. The Inland power supply was maybe a half-inch longer than my old power supply, but after looking at a picture of the inside of my box, there seemed to be enough room for it to fit. Nathan assured me that if the power supply didn't work, I could come back and return the power supply with no questions asked. As soon as I got home from work that day, I installed the new power supply (it took 5-10 minutes) and my computer was back up and running in less than 24 hours. Whew. I'm glad it wasn't my motherboard that had failed because I'd be looking at buying a new machine at that point. I am a very happy customer. The store itself still feels dated, but functionally, it serves its purpose. They've had the parts I've needed when I needed them and the customer service has been great. Stopped in 2 years ago and purchased one their iMac computers four were in stock...before doing so I searched the internet for couple days to try and find a matching price or lower any where else and I could not. So I bought Micro Centers iMac in Marietta, GA. The last one in their store. Since then I've gotten comments on a great buy I have when I took it to Mac's computer store and as well on the phone with Mac's customer service Department. Since then I do believe I've made a good purchase. Over the years since having two mac book pros I've learned to avoid putting junk unnecessary stuff on this iMac....Its got all the bells and whistles, it is a good investment! February 4, 2020 I stopped in to find a new mouse and either a clip or shoulder strap for my GoPro toy. The only choice's I found were a head mount, and shoulder strap. I purchased the shoulder strap $42.39 after taxes, the mouse I found was ruby red $26.49. Could have gone on line to find something other than...just did not want to wait. No problem! I have no qualms thinking the prices are unreasonable, you can really get a good deal. Customer service was not bad, be prepared to wait around or one could say wait in line. I didn't even know this place existed until someone in Office Depot lead me to it. I was looking for a usb hub for my job. The center was easy to find. It's in a big shopping center with a dental office next to it. There's plenty of parking. When I went inside I had no clue how to find what I was looking for. There is everything you need computer in this store. From PC to gaming chairs. Instantly I was greeted by a nice guy. I told him what I needed and He looked up something on the computer and went down an aisle and gave me my part and I checked out with a nice young good looking man. First of all, if you try to call it is not going to happen. There is no phone number anywhere. I could only imagine all the types of phone calls they get. That being said we went in and looked for one thing that would have cost at least $100. An employee assisted us and provided a $4.00 fix. It did not work but it was intelligent and could have worked. My best friend from high school needed a new gaming laptop, and I accompanied him to Micro Center to buy his laptop. He comes here quite frequently because of their product selection and customer service, and I see why. We met Michael Cohen, one of the sales representatives, and he was very gracious and professional with my best friend in the purchase of his laptop. He walked him through the process and made sure he had everything he needed for the laptop. Michael Cohen was terrific and made us feel very welcome in the store. When my best friend comes back to this store, he will definitely ask for Michael for assistance. Micro Center has a variety of products and electronics, and the staff is very professional and willing to lend a helping hand. It reminded me of the old Circuit City Stores from back in the 80's! Do not buy things here. You cant return them. The 15 day returns are a joke. Nobody has that kind of time commitment. Two mothns ago they suckered me into buying a premium grade display $149 over online price that is not compatible with macbook laptop. Went in to the store with packaged product and receipt, asked for store credid and they would not honor the return. Stared looking at networking products, all on average 15% over retail market average. Honestly some brick and mortar dinosaurs like this dont deserve to be supported. Amazon to the rescue. High prices. Only carries higher priced options. I came in looking for a 120w replacement charger for my laptop. They only carry one multi adapter. They do not carry MSI parts. I asked if they could do a simple continuity test on my power supply- they told me no, I need to bring in my laptop and they would hook up one of thiers to see if mine is faulty... FOR FOURTY DOLLARS. WHAT A RIP OFF! I can buy one for $30.00, do the same test and return it loding NOTHING if it doesnt work! I can buy a continuity tester for about $12.00 and test it myself for free! I have a continuity tester but its in storage. I just so happen to be driving by here, going to Best Buy to find a replacement and saw this place. Ill just keep driving by. $40.00 to plug a power supply to my laptop - ridiculous. So, Apple sent me here to get warranty service today. I've had a machine that has never worked. Apple has had the machine multiple times. Was told by Apple that this place would be able to fix it quicker. We get there..spoke with the rudest guy on the planet named Jessie. He was argumentative and said there would be a charge for diagnostics and that no one could see an Apple machine until January 10. We already know what's wrong and Apple has tickets and info in not to mention this machine is under full warranty. Nope this guy kept his hands behind his back..without even looking or listening or looking in their system to see what the Apple ticket stated. We live no where near here. Epic waste of time. Store looks dirty and simply huge waste of time. Avoid this place for service at all cost. read more

So while they have a good supply of items...their techs that check people in need a MAJOR customer service class. I have been coming here for over 25 years and the people at the service center (which we use it's it part of our warranty) are almost always a major downer. I always ask myself...why am I giving them money when I feel like badly about coming when I walk outside the store? They probably are not the only gig in town, so guess it's a matter of finding a new place. This place is definitely my preferred place to shop for all things computer. Needed a new laptop and stopped at Best Buy as it was closer to me, but ultimately left as the associate was unable to answer any questions outside of the very very basics which are already printed in the label. Scooted over to micro center and found a laptop with the specs I needed and a faster processor for a much more reasonable price than at Best Buy and the associate that helped me (Don?) was very helpful and knowledgeable. He listened to what I needed and didn't push me in things I didn't need after I declined them; he was very helpful. As we were leaving, the store manager Ron, gave us his card and let us know to call if we had any other questions. I've shopped at Micro Center for years. My dad who has been in IT since IT became thing always shops there. Always my first stop for anything computer related. read more
