Considering how fast he responded, the convenience of a mobile repair, and the quality of the work, the price was more than fair. Highly recommend

Very disappointed with the poor customer service after business receives payment (battery…read morereplacement iPhone and charging port repair) The owner was quick to schedule my battery replacement (15 min after our call he arrived to my home) and completed the repair. HOWEVER the next day, I noticed major issues with the "supposedly" new and "supposedly" OEM battery as it overheated while charging and then discharged very quickly (90% down to 20% in about 3 hours). A new battery shouldn't discharge that quickly and my phone displays "Unverified" on the battery health & charging indicator under battery settings which is clearly a red flag. Called him to resolve and he said that he gets parts from Mobile Sentrix which I noticed it has reviews stating that this wholesaler distributes defective parts (that explains my battery issues). The business owner tried to reassure me that the battery is not defective and that I can buy another one that he will install free of cost (this should've been stated BEFORE the repair, why should I pay for 2 batteries??) We set up an appointment for next day which he ended up rescheduling 5 minutes before our meeting!! (very unprofessional and inconsiderate) and spoke to me with a hostile attitude because I wanted him to honor our appointment. He gave me an ultimatum of "do you want the appointment tomorrow or not?" No apology or "customer satisfaction is paramount" applied here. Part of the problem with his service is that he prefers you pay him via cash, Zelle, etc and unfortunately in the event of an issue you don't get credit card protection. He charges more for credit card (hindsight should've protected myself). I entrusted this business based on the high rating and unfortunately his level of service drastically changed as soon as he received my Zelle payment. Overall this was a frustrating and costly mistake. The business states repeatedly that "Customer satisfaction is paramount" and my experience was that this principle ONLY applies up to the point of payment. The business needs to put more effort into ensuring the SAME level of service and customer satisfaction before and after payment (including cash payment). We agreed to another battery replacement the following week and he decided to block communication my number and not resolve the issue. The business took my money and refused to ensure customer satisfaction, I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this service whatsoever. Here are 6 of the issues I discussed with the business owner (in person) prior to him deciding to block my number and claim that my behavior is not customer "standard": 1. After the business received my nonrefundable payment, I was trying to schedule a resolution to the potential defective battery problem, however the owner spoke to me in a hostile and aggressive manner which CLEARLY demonstrates that customer satisfaction is not the top priority 2. I requested an apology and he did so (why didn't the owner take the initiative beforehand to apologize?) 3. The owner suggested I drive to him for the battery resolution which was unbelievable considering that the business model and expected level of service is that the tech always drives to the customer 5. Told the owner that excellent customer service would be to ask the customer what can we do to make this better? Explore options instead of your way or the highway. Blocking my number and refusing to resolve my battery issue is very unprofessional and completely contradicts your slogan of "customer service is paramount". 6. Based on the high rating I trusted this business and chose to pay cash which unfortunately doesn't provide any protection options in the event of any issues. I will not repeat that mistake.

I really wanted this to be a smooth, "drop it off and pick it up fixed" kind of experience... but…read moreinstead, it turned into a week-long lesson in patience. I came into uBreakiFix for a cracked front + inner screen. They gave me a quote. Cool. I submitted that exact quote to my insurance. Insurance paid me based on their numbers. Simple, right? Not quite. Upon pickup, I'm suddenly told the quote was wrong. That they itemized the incorrect parts and now the repair magically costs $300 more. So now I'm being asked to resubmit a brand-new quote to insurance and "hope" they cover the difference. Hope?! Let's be clear: I didn't misquote anything. I didn't select the wrong parts. I didn't create the invoice. That was 100% on them. Yet somehow, I'm the one expected to jump through hoops and clean it up. I even contacted corporate thinking they'd step in... but nope. Same response: everyone missed it, please work it out with the insurance company. Meanwhile, my phone is still being held hostage, I've lost a full week of time, and I'm stuck managing a mistake that wasn't mine. At this point, I'm picking up my phone and taking my business elsewhere. This was frustrating, time-consuming, and avoidable with better attention to detail and customer care. Mistakes happen, I get that. But accountability matters even more. Yelp Elite tip: double-check everything before you hand over your device. And don't assume the quote you're given is final. On to the next repair shop.

I took it back for another battery and repair of what they broke. Received the iPad back in two days, and not only was the "new" battery even worse (completely dead within hours with no use), they stated that they could not fix the rear facing camera, but they refused to pay any toward a replacement. I'm now out $1000 for a replacement iPad. Stay away from this place!

I had work done on my two iPhones at the Cumberland Mall location earlier today, September 23,…read more2025. Rey worked on one, and then the power button stopped working. He insisted they don't go near the button when fixing the screen or battery, but the button worked just hours earlier when I decided to bring my phone in. While he was troubleshooting the button, he pulled out a rubber seal with some tweezers, and then told me that I could come back in one week when he worked again, after he has a chance to order the needed part, and he will fix the button without charge. I'll update my review if the promised work is performed in one week on September 30, 2025. Also, iPhone batteries ship at around 50% charged no matter who you buy them from because its the most stable charge state for a battery and therefore the safest to ship, but the battery he installed on the phone powered on at 5%, which would never happen with a new battery. I think only one of the two phones he worked on received a new battery, and he thought he would save some money with the second battery. After I charged the phone to 100% and played around with the new screen, the home button is also now not working. Sometimes I have to press it three or four times to get the screen to turn on, sometimes it does not work at all. Both the home button and power button worked perfectly prior to taking it in to the shop. Update: On September 24, 2025 I called in the morning to speak with a different employee and to confirm the power button part had been ordered. I spoke with Mavis who said that the part is ordered and they will fix the button on Tuesday Sept 30, but she tried to explain the battery away as a "new battery that had just drained its battery while sitting in inventory". I think this is a sketchy explanation. Update: On September 30, 2025 I came in and they fixed the broken power button. I did not bring up replacing the battery because I just didn't want to complicate the matter. Between Sept 24th and Sept 30th, the home button had started to work properly so I think it just needed to work its way into proper place, but the home button has been a little iffy since Sept 30th. I am hoping that the home button starts functioning normally again within the week.
