My iPad Pro 12.9" wasn't charging well, so I read these positive reviews and took to iRepairIt to fix it. I was told it would cost $200. A couple hours later, the Store Manager called to say "unfortunately" she damaged my iPad touch screen, so instead of the original $200 cost, now I would have to pay $435 to have the screen SHE damaged fixed. I was completely taken back that a business would force a customer to pay for damage they cause themselves. I asked for paperwork to show that she had caused the damage, and she not only refused to provide but also demanded that I pay $435 to get my iPad back. I had to literally call the police in order to get my iPad back and obtain a receipt that showed my iPad was in perfect condition when I first brought it in (see photos). I now have a $1300 iPad that is completely useless (there's no touch on the screen anymore) and has several metal scratches from the terrible job iRepairIt did in damaging the touch screen... I went back through the yelp reviews and noticed that many of the positive reviews are from yelp members that have no profile or activity! There's no way all these positive reviews are legit! This feels like a scam to get a quote from $200 then be forced to pay more than double to have my device scratched and damaged by their wrongdoing. Lesson learned: before taken your iphone/ipad to repair, verify if the repair shop is Apple certified at https://support.apple.com/repair/verify-repair-provider. iRepairIt is NOT Apple certified (see screenshot). I just came here to get the front and back of my iPhone fixed. Wesley took my phone charged me $200 and only repaired the front which had minor damages after going over all the damages I wanted fixed which included that back. After sitting and waiting patiently I left with $200 less and a broken phone with a nice screen. He told me after it would've been $20 extra but he forgot -_- Why would I pay $179 to get my phone kinda fixed and not be made aware for $20 they'll fix the rest. I had a loose lens on my Apple Watch. I brought it in to these guys to have the crystal replaced. The technician who took my watch in thoroughly inspected my watch. The stainless steel case was in perfect condition as was the battery & inner works. The next day when I picked it up, I noticed what I thought was glue on each side of the case. These turned out to be scratch's. I took my watch back the 3rd day and a different employee put my watch under a MICROSCOPE and denied any responsability as he could find another scratch not visible to the eye. Both of my new scratches came directly from below the Crystal. It looked like a jewelers flat head screwdriver had slipped and scratched the case. This "Crystal" repair cost me $196.00 and now the headache of finding a Watch Jeweler who can buff out this mess. I would never recommend this company. I wish I could give them a 0. read more

Had a buzzing taptic engine (it makes the phone vibrate) after a short drop. These guys came up after a Google search, with the best reviews, and I now know why. They were very knowledgable and professional on the phone. Understood my issue right away, and gave me detailed options for the probable fixes, with pricing for those options. In person, the same professionalism; the easiest option proved to be the solution, stuck to the pricing quoted over the phone & turnaround was faster than they estimated. Would recommend these guys to my friends and family; even my dad, the consummate sceptic. To show they don't try to up-sell: When I got to the shop, an senior aged man was asking one of the techs about a crack in his screen, that he was convinced was in the actual screen. He was concerned some water would get in. The tech examined the phone, realized it was just the protective screen, and had to almost talk the man into the idea that his phone was fine. The last three times I've taken my phone here, they exceeded my expectations every time. You can tell they actually care about their customers, no wonder they always have a lobby full of business. I shattered my screen a few months back; and it took iRepairIT more than 4 hours to fix it (I understand, that there is a line and they get to it in the order that it is received). However, the quality of the screen was subpar. The screen replacement had these "static" lines when I would use an app. The screen replacement I received from them, shattered so easily too; and therefore, I wonder about the quality especially after they charged me above market prices (it came out to close to $300). read more

"Amazing service" to put it in two words. I called in advance to make sure I don't need an appointment and it turned out they take walk-ins. So I went in to get my iPhone screen changed. They said since they already had the parts its going to take less than 30 minutes. I figured I'd just wait there and they were very nice to provide me with their WiFi and water. They were really quick on the repair and finished it in about 10 minutes. My iPhone now looks brand new for which they provide 90 days of functionality warranty (any issues with the touch screen). Dropped my iPhone in a puddle and quickly dried it off... but it gradually failed completely. Opening it, drying it, swapping battery myself... no improvement. I then took it into iRepairIT on Howell Mill... They diagnosed, explained, fixed the first problem (new screen). Then, they noticed it still wasn't quite right. Diagnosed some more, cleaned and fixed some more. They probably spent 3-5x the amount of time a "normal" screen repair takes, but they only charged for the basic screen replacement. I will ALWAYS come to this place if something is wrong with my screen. The first time I went, I got my cracked iPhone 8 Plus fixed by Aggrey (who is GREAT by the way) in just a little over an hour. I love that this place gives a 90 day warranty so I don't feel so anxious that I wouldn't be able to get my phone fixed again for free if anything was wrong with the screen. The second time I went was just yesterday. I updated my iPhone 8 Plus to the new iOs and my screen just stopped working entirely. I force turned it off nearly 15 times and it would not work. I went straight to iRepairIT and Aggrey was there again. He immediately knew what the problem was (updating my phone) and replaced my screen entirely with a new screen that I have been loving since! I called Irepairit and they could do it. The pricing was along with the other places that could repair my phone. It took 5 hours to do the repair. My phone was done I came in and was greeted and helped like it as soon as I walked him. The guy was able to give me a diagnosis and a price. I left and came back and once I committed to them fixing it .. 30-40 minutes later my screen was looking scrumptious to brand new and they offer a 90 day warranty! I was truly impressed at how my issue was handled and how quickly it was resolved. Now $150 was the price I paid (phone completely done) obviously they are cheaper options but Verizon recommended this location and also gave me a $10 off coupon. I came in last Thursday with just a run of the mill cracked screen on my iPhone 7, and when I came back that day my screen was fixed. When I got back home my home button stopped working and I could tell the glass was not completely in. After one day with the phone is restarted itself anywhere between 35-40 times.
