So, I know Ralph was wondering why the poor review. Well, Ralph, I tried your deli a few more times and my original review still stands. The service is still confused and the food is still disappointing. I got a sandwich from there recently and by noon they had run out of rolls. How do you run out of kaiser rolls by noon? So, I got a whole wheat roll. It must've been a day old, because it was hard as a rock and I had to rip it apart like an animal to try and eat it. Not very attractive. There was also twice as much lettuce on the sandwich as meat. So, I wish I could like this place, since it's so close to home, but I just keep getting disappointed. Great food! I have the rewards card I I use it every time. I got lunch there today and had to ask if the salmon had been cooked with any flour. I explained my gluten intolerance and he was so helpful, he asked the chef and it was not, so I ate it. I have never had a bad meal there and everone is so friendly. I didn't want to give them so much as one star but I was required to... The food is alright, sure... But the customer service is TERRIBLE! They are very rude. Our company gave them a lot of business at first because things were fairly good, but not anymore. They often forget things in deliveries and then give an attitude when we want them to drive back with what THEY forgot (mind you we are literally a minute away from them). Too many straws have broken this camels back and they are officially banned from our lunch ordering. Never again will we give them our business and I suggest you don't either. read more

I've been to both locations, both never fail. Hearty cheap breakfast platters, Good burgers for lunch and the pizza is surprisingly reminiscent of a pizzerias. The sandwiches and wraps can be made fresh to order and their mac n chz is gooey and creamy, personally jusy the way i like it! I would have given this place 5 stars however i feel like this location lacks leadership and managment skills. The front of house staff is very nice, Dawn is always a sweetheart and is fast and helpful when i just need to get my coffee and go in the morning, durring a lunch rush she told me i could take a seat and that she'd bring my lunch once it was ready. The rest of the the guys in the front of house also always greet me with a smile. All and all, i do enjoy stopping into this deli. Keep up the good work guys! read more

I travel a lot for business and eat some pretty unhealthy food. I was in the mood for something healthy and pulled off the highway and my yelp app wasn't working (no gps.) I would've avoided Coliseum if I read all the reviews here and I'm glad I didn't. After eating a lot of junk every day I ordered a fresh spinach wrap. They threw lots of good stuff in there and I've felt great all day. The people I met were helpful and polite. Maybe if I went here everyday I'd have a different opinion but as an "outsider" I think this place is a great healthy option. read more

I recommend this two dishes from the hot buffet: Penne Monteverde: pasta with grilled chicken, sundried tomatoes and spinach in a light garlic chicken broth. Been coming here on and off for 4 years now. More out of convenance than anything. I always feel taken advantage of when leaving. Most times they get your breakfast order wrong. Stopped in for lunch today and afterwards felt like i should call the police. $10 for the most dismal sausage and pepper hero i've ever had. Dry, minimal sausage, if the sandwich was good i wouldn't be complaining. Today just reminded me why i don't come here much. Overpriced for sure, and quality of the food isn't even worth the price. Lobster mac n cheese, more like mac n cheese soup. Liquidy, pasta was way over cooked, a bowl of cheesy mush. And nothing i could identify as being lobster. Very disappointing, should have just went to taco bell. I will not return here ever again and waste my hard earned money on sub par, over priced mush. Okay so the charming part about this place is of course its assortment and different stations. So it is important to dissect each station. My brother worked here when he went to HS, so I spent a lot of time trying the food! It is expensive I will tell you that. There are definitely cheaper places to go to. As of lately I have heard nothing but complaints from this place. And from my experience it seems like poor management. The employees are slacking, rude, lazy, and just un trained. As for the food: 1.) Soups- soups were always incredible. They made a roasted red pepper soup that was to die for. Soup was always fresh and yummy. However a lot of times I would go in there and they would not have any soup. :( 2.) Salads might be easy to make, but this place always seemed to make a fresher salad. There once homemade dressings were a real hit. And I loved how they had different types of seasoned chicken for my salad, as well as goat cheese. 3.) Wraps are decent, nothing to ride home about. However it is nice that they can make any kind of wrap or sandwich you want. You name it they can make it. 4.) Hot Food- for the most part I have always liked the hot food I get. They seriously have the best mac and cheese in the world.I love their roasted vegetables and salmon dishes as well. However last time I ate here they had like no selection available and the food looked stale. 5.) There are desserts available in the store from other companies such as Juniors cheesecake and whatever. 6.) PIZZA- lets talk about this... even when this place opened their pizza looked and tasted old. It never looked appetizing in my opinion. And now when I go in, the pizza just looks bad. First of all the place was Filthy! At 2pm all garbage from the previous day should have been removed. Yet I had to change my seat because the view of the overflowing garbage receptacle ( and the additional garbage on the surrounding floor) was disgusting at best! In fact it was nauseating! I just had the Mexicano omelet about 30 minutes ago. It sounded great with the jalapeno and chorizo; I figured it would be full of flavor. But it failed to deliver on some basic levels. First, if you are going to charge $10 for an omelet, make a serious effort to deliver on quality and taste. Half way through the omelet, I had yet to come across any piece of chorizo. All i get on getting was home fries. When I finally did come across some chorizo, it was lacking in flavor. That's not the biggest kicker. How can you serve anything Mexican without SALSA?? Any type of Mexican food is supposed to have a LOT OF FLAVOR. The chefs need to go back to the drawing board and taste all of their creations blindfolded. read more

I went there on Sunday April 19. I wanted a Chef Ramsey Panini and after placing the order and paying, they said "we have no Panini's" I was very surprised. How could you have no Panini? I order something else and when they order came I was walking towards the Door and I heard another customer said to the worker " what do you mean you have no bagels" I remembered I placed an order on the phone about 6 month ago went their to pick it up and it was not ready. The worker was sorry. They worked fast because I placed the order 25 minutes ago 1 sandwich and a New England Salad . The worker asked for help while I stood there waiting. 1 worker said no " I'm busy" the worker was just standing there, the other employee was trying to get my order to pack up. I have gone into Coliseum Kitchen and notice that some employees just don't seen happy, Is there a change in service from when it first opened yes. I think better communications should be done on what items are on the menu in stock. I think that Employees should be reminded that you don't know if a Customer is being send to Coliseum Kitchen to see how Customer Service is being performed . You might have to look at workers and see if they want to be in Coliseum Kitchen anymore. Your hours of Operations seem to change, closed on Sunday read more

The food is good, when you finally get your correct order. Three times in one week I was forced to return to the Kitchen Coliseum because they packaged me up with food that was not what I ordered. Tomatoes instead of bacon on a breakfast sandwich, putting ketchup on another occasion (on a coworker that can not stand ketchup), and the last time they flat out gave me the wrong peoples food. When I went back the people were STILL standing there waiting and I had to give them their correct dishes. I find it nothing but a waste if time and gas money to go here. read more

They were 100% right. They showed up on time, they did the full set up exactly as promised, the staff was flawless, and best of all - THE BBQ FOOD WAS SPECTACULAR - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS IN EVERY WAY - and there was an abundance of it. Unfortunately I am forced to go to this deli. It's right next to my job and on a half hour lunch break the choices for food and beverages are limited. It is INSANELY over priced. The pre made salads are the biggest rip off with barley a half scoop of chicken or tuna salad in them, you are basically sold lettuce for 7$. Half the time I go they don't have ice for your iced coffee or tea and the rest of the time there are COFFEE GRINDS in the coffee. Staff is friendly but overall the place sucks. WOW!!!! Coliseum is absolutely INCREDIBLE. My husband and I found them and decided to give them a try for our outdoor wedding. We were on a very strict budget and a very tight timeline, and none of the other caterers we looked at were NEARLY as accommodating as Coliseum. For the incredibly affordable price they gave us, their food and service was PHENOMENAL. My husband is a bit of a food snob ( ;P ) and he LOVED their cooking! Not only was the quality of their food incredible, but working with Lauren, Suzi, Liam, Ralph and the rest of their staff, made coordinating a breeze. Lauren was so quick to answer every question I had and was very patient with me! They were super flexible with what we wanted. Liam personally drove my wedding cake made by a friend of mine to my venue! At the end of our wedding day, the owner came and prayed over us to bless our marriage! INCREDIBLE. Their serving staff was amazing as well and made sure we were all well taken care of! If you're unsure of who to go with for your wedding catering, LOOK NO FURTHER.
