Inside - Inside Sabeli, a deli with a black-and-white checkered floor, refrigerated display cases, and menu boards on the wall.

Here's what we've ordered: - bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything croissant 4/5 - sausage, egg and cheese on an egg bagel 5/5 - cookies (the guy gave us the wrong ones even though we pointed it out to him.... it was still good) 4/5 - iced coffee (self serve, milk is in the mini fridge) 3/5 What I've ordered through Doordash/UberEats: - Cubano 5/5 - Egg Salad 3/5 - Macaroni salad 3/5 - Pasta with spinach, feta, and tomatoes 4/5 - Chicken empanada 3/5 - Chicken bacon ranch 4/5 I started to order from Sabeli's during the pandemic through DoorDash and UberEats and haven't walked into the deli until the beginning of this week. I was surprised to see how small it is. The staff is friendly for 6AM and just opening (they were really nice). Their lunch sandwiches are amazing, huge portions, delicious. I found that their chicken bacon ranch is on the saltier side. If you're into salt, go for it! It's pretty good. The breakfast sandwiches were good as well. However, they ran out of the regular croissant so we ended up with an everything croissant. As for their egg salad, macaroni salad, and pasta salad.. They had a bit too much sauce (mayo) for me so I couldn't enjoy the flavors of everything else. If you love mayo, I recommend it. I prefer to taste the seasonings. Their cookies were delicious. The guy didn't give us what we wanted but it was 5AM. Don't judge us! I know you've wanted cookies in the morning before! I really enjoyed these cookies with my iced coffee. The reason why I give the iced coffee a 3 out of 5 rating is because it wasn't strong at all. I liked that it was a self serve station for the coffee. The milk and cream are in the mini fridge. If you don't like or want coffee, they have other beverage options as well. The deli was very clean and I'd be concerned if it wasn't at 6AM when they opened! They do not have indoor seating but come hungry, leave happy.

I ordered two bagels with salmon, cream cheese and onions. One bagel with gluten free which they said would be smaller was tiny. As you can see by the picture there is no salmon or maybe tiny pieces of it, yet they charged $6.99 for it. I am from the city and you just can't do that, you should be embarrassed. If I was not in a rush I would have come back and complained for a full refund or at least to get the salmon I paid for. So I paid an extra $13.98 for salmon which should have been slices, not diced tiny pieces. It's a nice looking store, but won't be back if that's they way they do business.

I asked for them NOT to chop my salad. Got back to my office and it IS chopped!! Tastes good but I like to chew my salad, not have it pre chewed. Went back!!! Tried again!! Hot just what I wanted!!

Rubbery overpriced sandwich - A bacon, cheese, and sandwich is shown partially eaten, wrapped in paper and foil, placed on a surface inside a vehicle.

Over priced bagels no fixed prices. My friend got a toasted Bacon Egg and cheese bagel and paid $5changed and I purchased a everything bagel with bacon and cheese no eggs and charged $8.00.unreal! Bacon was also microwaved and rubbery not fresh

I work in the area and saw a new deli opened up so gave the a try for lunch. My wife and I both created our own Lunch sandwiches. She went for a traditional Turkey Sandwich and I went for a Chicken Cutlet Hero. The portions were huge for the price ($12-13 each). I feel like they put in enough Turkey that would have been $7-8 at the supermarket. Overall the taste was good, only complaint was that the Cutlet did not have a lot of flavor on it, almost like it wasn't seasoned. However, I would try this place for lunch again.

I ordered a chicken cutlet and grilled chicken on a roll. Grilled chicken was too dry couldn't even chew It. The cutlet was burned and dry.

A bagel sandwich filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and herbs, cut in half, on aluminum foil.

Extremely overpriced and the prices are not shown. Expect to pay close to $6 for a bagel with cream cheese and nearly $40 for a dozen bagels

I've been at home all week battling COVID and relying on delivery apps for my meals, and unfortunately, the costs have been adding up.

I ordered a variety of subs, and sides to serve 12 people. Our order included: - Chicken with fresh mozzarella - Italian meats/cheese - Marinated vegetable with fresh mozzarella sub - fruit salad - Caesar salad - cookies All of the food items tasted good and everyone was happy with the selection. The bread used was particularly delicious. There was plenty of food left over, and I could have easily ordered 30-40% less for the number of people, but the way the orders are described, it's hard to tell how many people each sub feeds (ie: what is considered a serving size, how many pieces are included per sub). A few things to note/areas for improvement (reminder: this was through ex-cater): 1- They do not offer any drinks through ez-cater. This is a miss. I would have loved to order a variety of drinks to accompany our lunch. And when I tried to call the deli directly, noone ever answered the phone. 2- The cookies were small and hard, not a "bakery style" cookie I was expecting. More like a chips ahoy. 3- They charge $3.75/person for "utensils" which were delivered as a handful of unwrapped plastic forks. No napkins, plates, knives or spoons. I paid about $40 for a dozen plastic forks, which was insane. Overall the food quality was very good. However, the inability to order drinks and getting priced gauged for plastic forks are detractors. I'd come again for an in person order, unless they charge $3.75 for a fork, then I'll pass.

I came on my way to work. They have a good parking lot so it won't take you time to get in. Inside was neat and clean and the deli had that 90's style vibe going. It felt good, but not modern. Behind the counter were a lot of friendly hard working people. They took my order quick and made it to my specifications. I used my Apple Pay to finalize the order and decided to dine in. They had plenty of seating. I mean they had too, the place was packed. That's a good sign for any business. Now the thing I mentioned about missing steps comes when I opened my sandwich. Don't get me wrong it looked great. I only wish they had melted the cheese. I know I asked for extra, but they could have put it on the stove and let it melt. I mean, I can't enjoy my eggs unless the cheese is melted, the bread was the best part of my breakfast. It was so soft and warm. I liked it alot, the sausage was, okay and everything else was ordinary. I mean, I would go back, it wasn't terrible. But next time, toss my egg sandwich into a pizza oven and leave it there for a few.

Well, I called yesterday and I spoke to Marisol who could not have been nicer and more accommodating. She asked me all the right questions and we put together a nice order to be delivered today. She even offered to put in a card with a note from me. Last night I had second thoughts about some of my choices so I called first thing this morning and spoke to Dario. He found my order and so nicely made my changes. Then I called and spoke to Terry who very kindly confirmed everything. Finally, Marisol called with the final price. I felt so badly about all my phone calls but everyone could not have been sweeter. And Marisol told me that she personally decorated the note card with balloons and a heart! Most importantly, my sister called and she was thrilled. Fortunately I ordered the right food and she even sent me a picture of the delivery. And she told me how incredibly nice Henry, the delivery person, was, especially since I had erroneously provided the wrong street number. Living in Manhattan I have never been to Ben's although I have certainly heard wonderful things from my niece and from a friend in Queens. I told my sister that the next time that I visit her we are going to Ben's so that I can meet my new friends and have some terrific food. I am so grateful for everyone's time, patience, kindness and for the delicious food and care that helped make my sister's day special. Thank you to Ben's in Woodbury!
