great BEC, they take the time to actually melt the cheese. very quick and friendly service. even greeted by other staff . excellent coffee as well. small pet peeve these days, this was the first time in years that someone actually counted out my change the properly instead of just handing a stack of bills and change and saying " here"

The other half just as appetizing.

Ordered a couple of hero's. They were ok. Bread felt a little stale. Store itself was clean. Nothing different than any other deli.

This time around we visited the Mad For Chicken location in Massapequa tucked in the Southgate Shopping Center. The space is a decent size where they have lots of table seating, a few tables for standing and bar seating. They also have two clean gender neutral bathrooms on site if need to be used. It's a great place to hang out with friends or for a super casual date night. The menu selection has most of the menu you would see at most other locations, but I've also noticed it depends on location what is available. Of course they have their famous chicken wings which was one of the items we chose to share. We got the signature wings in soy garlic. We love that the wings are cooked to perfection with a crispy outer coating and then a juicy and tender chicken meat on the inside. We also grabbed the crabmeat salad which was a big portion that can easily be shared between two or three people. There was a generous amount of shredded crab with tomatoes and greens well dressed in a sweet and creamy honey mustard sauce. The hubbs wanted fries, so we got an order of those too. Also perfectly crispy and not greasy at all. It came with dipping sauces of ketchup and spicy mayo. Service by the two girls in the was great making sure that every table had what they needed. Overall another great Mad for Chicken location and we would come back again.

It's nice to go to someplace new to me. It was hard to find parking because of all the snow from the 3rd snowstorm that is still not clearing the streets and sidewalks. Hubby dropped me off and found one. It's a kitchy looking place with many TVs and multiple levels. The door to the place looks like an English phone booth with 2 dialup phones in the entryway. Our waiter Joe was very nice. The girl who sat us gave us our menus right away. I had to wait for hubby to park, but I had time to look over the menu. All the choices sounded good. Hubby wound up with a Spinach Benedict with Roasted Tomatoes with nicely Crispy fries and a lemon Benedict sauce to die for. I got a Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onions on whole grain toast. The Arugula salad that was also on the plate was covered lightly with a lemony dressing. I added Cholula Sauce and it was so good. Another point I'd like to make is that the bottles of hot sauces were clean with no cruddy tops. That turns me off so good for them. I would definitely go back.

It was basically a deconstructed sandwich. Good flavor overall - could've used a little more pesto, but the mozzarella tasted fresh and was soft. Service was not the best, but I'll still go back when in the area.

Visit Date: July 29, 2025 (Early morning, after midnight)…read more So I had a crazy few days lol. I went to the Nelly/Ja Rule/Eve concert, the next day I worked and drove my son and I out to WildWood, NJ to participate in a short part of my boyfriend's annual family vacation, Tuesday night I left Wildwood at 10 PM because I had a notary class Wednesday. After the concert my friend Jen told me she was going to be here with her other friends. So I went to meet them because I didn't get to see them during the concert. Jen is so amazing she's very generous with me even though she doesn't have to be, so she paid for my burger that I ordered here because I didn't eat dinner and when I got to Boss Crocker's I was hungry. I gave the bartender a $20 tip because if someone pays for my meal I like to pay it forward and give the waitstaff or bartender a banger tip. The bacon cheeseburger was very good. They made it very fast, I don't know if it was the hunger but I loved it. They made it medium rare at my request and it was one of the best burgers I ever scarfed down. The bar was a pretty good environment, it was a pretty chill crowd for a Sunday night, more packed than I thought it would be. I can't say much about the drinks I only drank water but give Boss Crocker's a chance!

He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. That kind of hospitality goes a long way and really sets a place apart. I ordered the Boss Burger Deluxe, and this was not your typical bar burger. It honestly ate more like a steakhouse-quality burger--juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One of the better burgers I've had in a long time. Washed it down with a Guinness (2). While I don't love the size of the pour, I have to give credit where it's due--it was a great pour, done right, and that matters. I can't speak to the nighttime scene since I was there during the day, but it's a true local Irish pub, and I'd assume it turns into a fun time once the night crowd rolls in. Either way, I'll definitely be back--and I'd suggest everyone check it out for themselves.

I remember years ago there were more Zorn's locations on LI, including one in East Meadow. Sad…read morethat the Bethpage one is the only one I know of now. I don't come to Zorns too often but I got a family meal with some friends last year and the food was pretty solid. I came back recently as I saw there was a 'Best of Long Island' (BOLI) special that the website was advertising for $15 that seemed like a solid deal. The place itself was pretty clean and organized inside, with lots of stuff packaged to go. I took my meal to go as well. I got the 'BOLI' special ($15) that came with 1/4 chicken (I chose white meat vs dark), 2 ribs, and 2 sides. I got potato salad and penne a la vodka as my sides. There was a minor hiccup when I went to check out as the cashier lady wasn't aware of the special and thought the price was wrong, but she got confirmation that the special was legit and it was fine. The meal came out to $16.28 with tax included. I got home and was impressed by the food. The potato salad tasted like it was very freshly prepared and was very solid. Potatoes had a nice firm texture and the potato salad tasted very crisp. I was worried that the pasta would be soggy, but it was not and the penne a la vodka was also excellent. The 2 ribs that I got were both huge and had a lot of meat of them. The ribs tasted like the bbq sauce was put on after they were cooked, which I'm not the biggest fan of. The bbq sauce was also a little too sweet for my tastes. But I still very much enjoyed the ribs and loved how big and meaty they were. The fried chicken was also very solid. White meat was not dry and the fried flavoring of the chicken was very on point. And the meal overall was pretty huge; more than enough food for one person. For context, I think Zorn's food sits solidly on top of the better fast food chains, like Popeyes. So I enjoyed my meal overall and was very full. I think the only thing I'd critique would be the standard pricing, which seems a bit high in my opinion. To be fair, I saw a few lunch specials advertised on Zorn's website as well, such as a fish sandwich meal for $9 + tax, which seems good. I checked out some of the to go items, and some items such as mac salad and potato salad in fairly small containers were around $9, which seemed high to me. They also had some full meal deals for about $20, which seemed like a better deal. Cheers and looking forward to my next trip here in the future.
