People really need to learn how to make food the way the customer wants. I ordered an omelet with just food and feta -- nothing complicated -- and it took them three attempts to get it right. On the final attempt, the owner actually yelled at me and told me to "pick something from the menu" with a number, which was incredibly disrespectful. When I explained that I did order from the menu and simply asked for no spinach, he argued with me and said the dish "comes with coffee and bread," even though I was never offered either of those things. What made the experience even worse is that all the employees were giving me dirty looks the whole time, making me feel completely unwelcome and uninvited. No customer should be treated this way. They will say contact Uber after speaking to them. Whats even worse after I explained the order was wrong. As you like it deli is the former John Moore deli under new ownership. Today I came in to try a deli classic and staple: bacon egg and cheese (on a roll of course) and an iced tea. They did not disappoint. Some delis get a little sloppy and cheap with something that's just regularly turned out. It had a bounty of warm fluffy eggs melty cheese and the bacon was crispy. Chewy bacon should never be on a BEC. I also got an iced tea. Their coffee and iced tea is all self serve on an organized little table. I love that option because you can kind of customize it to your liking. Really goes with the as you like it theme. It was very clean inside and i was greeted kindly by the employees. Okay now, this is long but hang in there with me, I can't help it, this place is magical. I was hungry but recently had shoulder surgery and wasn't up to cooking, so I picked up the phone to order from a local spot I frequently use and was disappointed to learn they had no delivery person today. Just got the Spanish Omelette Platter for $8 with tip and discount gave at online checkout! That's a steal for breakfast. The ordering website is very simple and user-friendly. My order was ready before the estimated time. When I went to pick up my order, there was a little confusion regarding showing confirmation for my order, showing the name for the order placed because earlier, somebody had picked up the wrong order. Both order confirmation on the email and website didn't show my name, just what I ordered and confirmation number. That didn't discouraged me though. I go to this deli about twice a week for breakfast. They do it as well as any other place I have been to. It's the kind of place where everyone there is usually a regular. You can make your own coffee or tea here as you like it hence the name. They do deliver, but I just walk over as my office is not far. You can call ahead your order as well and it'll be ready before you get there. I'd recommend it only for breakfast. The lunches are hit or miss for me at least, I've tried ten or so things. I'm being rushed for my order every time I call; I asked for my total over the phone after making a massive order from the shop I work at. He told me no and hung up. If you're running a business, no matter how busy it is. You need to make time for everyone that comes through the door or on the phone. Recently ordered here again, my boss loves their oatmeal. He rushed for my order, didn't bother asking me my name and when my colleague went to pick up, he said I didn't give a name.
