The staff is always smiling, very accommodating and they care. I've had their famous steak strips on a garlic roll,bbq chicken fingers, chicken ceaser pasta salad, honey maple turkey hero, Mac salad, potato salad, their chicken salad with craisns and bacon egg and cheese. They have great food, make the best sandwiches and the level of customer service is KICK ASS great. Whomever is doing the hiring must be the worlds greatest interviewer because every person that works here (young & older guys) are just attentive, friendly and engaging. The name is Lynbrook Deli & Catering, but it should be "Top 10 Deli in Long Island" I've been in here a couple times now, and they never disappoint. I'm a TEC (turkey egg & cheese) guy, and they make one of the best sandwiches I've had. The bagels are soft but crunchy at the same time, the eggs are made perfect, and the sammy isn't a mess. I have been here a few times. I have a client in the area that I stop by every year or two. It is a decent Long Island deli. There is a wide selection of sandwiches and such. There is a got food area. I had a crispy chicken wrap and a snapple. A very Long Island meal. It was fine. I would have it again. I would probably try a different sandwich next time though. Overall good deli I take issue with disregarding customers requests. I ordered a roast beef hero (for my wife) and asked to have it from the super delicious rare looking roast beef in the case as she prefers. The gentleman then turns around shakes his head and pulls a pack of pre-sliced roast beef out of the case next to the top round to make the hero. The lazy and disregard for customer request is disheartening. Especially from a deli with a good reputation. My wife is currently the Duchess of this deli, and rightfully so! After all the hype, I finally decided to take up her recommendation and pay a visit to the Lynbrook Deli myself. Wow do these guys rocks! Right from the start, here are a few things I love about this place: open 7 days a week, delicious food, plenty of options, very reasonable prices (looking especially at you, breakfast), and (wait for it) DELIVERY! That's right, they'll deliver your order to your door 7 days a week between 8am and 4pm ($20 minimum). Let's get talking about the food itself. One of the signs of a great deli is that glorious Boar's Head logo, and thankfully this place serves your favorite Boar's Head products (turkey, ham, roast beef, provolone, sausage, cheeses, etc.). The signature options on the menu are likewise tempting, with most of these sandwiches falling in the $8-$10 range (including $8.99+tax for a hero consisting of ham, roast beef, turkey, Swiss, American, lettuce, tomato and mayo). Not a bad deal at all! On this visit, I opted for my wife's favorite, the Mayflower Melt, consisting of hot turkey breast, bacon, melted American and mayo on a hero for $8.99+tax. The turkey is very fresh, the bacon cooked just right (not too fatty but not overcooked), and the American cheese melted nicely over the meats. The sandwich is packed and delicious. So good! In addition to your standard sandwiches and salads, Lynbrook Deli also offers a variety of beverages, chips, and sweets. Plus, the store actually has a decent amount of seating if you care to dine in and is kept clean. Staff here is great as well, friendly with quick service. I have been here for both just a sandwich and have done catering here! This is such a great local spot! Service is kind and friendly and even though they're always extremely crowded at lunch time the wait is never too long. Best part also is that if you're in the area they deliver! For catering - my family has used them for events for a few years now and we've never been disappointed. Most recently they catered a backyard party at the end of September. We had about 100 people and got heroes and hot trays of food. We wanted the theme of the party to be a BBQ so we stuck with BBQ chicken and steak, sausage and peppers, grilled vegetables, and Mac n cheese! We also had a nice salad and a few side salads. One fan favorite is the buffalo chicken salad, my family always loves that! We also had a bunch of allergies to worry about having family members who have celiac and are lactose intolerant. We let the deli know and they were beyond accommodating and made sure all the seasonings that were used were gluten free which was what we needed! Everyone loved the food so much there was literally not one thing left. At first I was nervous we hadn't ordered enough but was later told people had gone up for seconds and wanted to make sure nothing was left because it was too good to leave sitting there! For weeks later my guests told me how delicious the food was so that was awesome! Definitely recommend using them for your next event, I know I will! read more

Very disappointed in the chicken cordon blue ! Looks good but very deceiving ! I ordered it on a wrap with lettuce and tomato and honey mustard! The chicken had very little flavor very bland hardly and honey mustard really no cheese ! I hate wasting food so I struggled to finished the wrap ! Not mad just very very disappointed! I can't say enough good things about this place....from the Owners to the staff this is one of the best run deli's on the Island. I come in here at least twice a week and am never disappointed. Ronnie, Kim, and Chris go out of their way to make sure your order is to your liking and coming up with creative suggestions when you aren't sure what you'd like. The hot food and sandwiches are always on point,my favorites are the Buffalo and BBQ chicken tenders, Hunter Chicken, and the Teriyaki Chicken and string beans they usually make on Fridays. One of the best delis in existence. In a rush to go to the beach, my family and I stopped for some quick food. This deli is absolutely perfect for turnovers, coffees and drinks of any sort, junk food, and every single sandwich and wrap you can think of. When deciding which size to get, the man giving us the cup said, "Would you like Shmall, Shmedium, or Shlarge?" He laughed and I laughed. It was a great moment. I got Shmedium, by the way. In the Shmedium cup, I got a French Vanilla Coffee, since they remmended it to me. It was delicious. We had a large order and this deli gave us all of our items. YUM! I came in for lunch today and got the Combo Wrap, which is grilled chicken, grilled veggies and low-fat honey mustard. This wrap was FULL of flavor. I loved every single bite. The staff were all very welcoming and nice- upbeat and happy, even on a Monday. They talked me into trying their iced coffee, which they claim is the best. I have to admit, it was pretty dang good. I ordered a medium caramel flavored iced, expecting a Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks-sized medium, but what I actually got was basically a bucket of iced coffee...
