Bacon egg and cheese on a roll
    Caroline L.

Stopped in here for a quick bfast. Got bacon egg and cheese on a roll and wasn't disappointed. They crack real eggs, pile on crispy bacon and it all goes on a nice fluffy roll. Quick and efficient service. Will be back again next time I'm in the area. Happy I checked them out.

I found Brock's on the way to an impromptu trip to the beach. I ordered up a simple egg and cheese on a roll ($4) and it was prepared quickly. As I was there, people were in and out with their orders too, so I can imagine that locals do stop by to get their bagels and sandwiches on a regular. I forgot to carry cash, thank goodness they accept Apple Pay ($5 minimum).

Rudest old lady working the counter. Asked for pastrami melt when the lady asked do you want less meat. When I asked her what that means she started to bark and say I know what you said but do you want less meat. Rude rude rude. First and last time going here. I wouldn't bark too much old lady especially when there are 15 other more amazing delis around. The sandwich was a solid 2 out of 10. nothing lost, nothing gained

Brock's is our go to deli, especially on Sundays! I usually get egg whites sausage cheese on a wrap. We've had their heroes which are huge and a great price. The service is fast and the woman at the counter works fast too. Plenty of parking on weekends. Definitely suggest!

"Brock's Family Delicatessen" was a deli I saw in passing. I was hungry and figured I can eat and get a review as well. They only have curbside parking, so parking took a bit. Once inside I noticed they place was small but well kept. It smelled of delicious meat so already I felt right at home. I walked over to the counter and saw a few people working in the back. Four or five people working means this place gets busy. I walked up to the lady working the counter and looked over the goods. I asked if they take credit and she said yes, but there's a five dollar limit. I hate that store penalize you for carrying a credit card, specially now, since everyone carries debit or credit. I asked for meatloaf and sausage hoping it would fill me up. The lady told me it was eight ninety nine a pound and I thought that was pricy. She must have know it was a lot as well, because when she rang it up she took a dollar off the bill. I thought that was nice and exited with my hot meal. When I started eating the meatloaf, I can say, that it was good. It had its own unique flavor, but not what I'm use to in a loaf. The sausage was good too. I liked my meal, but I can't say Love was in the air. It definitely hit the spot as I had hoped. It's fifty, fifty if I would go back. I guess it would depend on if I'm in the area again and if I want to spend a lot to eat okay food.

Brock's deli is attached to the medical building along with Romeo's Pizza, a card store, dry cleaner, and tanning salon. It is a small strip mall type of area. 20 years ago I owned dance studio in this area and this was my go to deli. This 20 year old *former German Deli * was bought a few years ago, and the new owners kept the name. This is an extremely busy deli especially during breakfast hours as they get all the sanitation workers, Doctors and Dentists from the connected medical building. I come here if and when I have a Dr appt next door. They cook the breakfast right in front of you behind a glass partition( extra large sneeze guard) This is a feature everyone seems to love for obvious reasons. They also cook breakfast until 12 noon. I can recommend all the omelette platters that come with home fries. The owners keep the place very clean and they expedite the food quickly to keep the store from backing up out the door. They also sell convenience items and typical deli food. I never had a problem here and I totally give them a solid 5 stars.

They stack it with ham, and it's a meal within itself, obviously I had the godfather and I got it on an Italian hero and yes I was full after just Eating half the sandwich, my favorite overall was surprisingly the Sharon stone, it's barbecue chicken. The first time I went (on a Friday evening), I ordered a Greek salad and had a good experience. The worker was polite, asked if I was okay with all the ingredients, and made sure I got what I wanted -- no chicken, dressing on the side, etc. He even chopped the salad for me without me asking, which I appreciated. The salad was pretty good, just heavy on the olives, but overall I left satisfied enough to come back a second time. The salad was listed as $13.99, but I was charged $15.82 -- which felt overpriced for what it was, but I let it slide since the portion was large. Then I went back on Sunday, and it was a completely different story. Two different workers were there, neither greeted me or said hello. I told them I wanted a Greek salad with no olives and no chicken. One of them immediately went to add chicken, and when I reminded him "no chicken, no olives," he said the olives were already in there. The other worker said, "It comes with olives," and they didn't bother to make it right. When I got my salad, it was barely 20% lettuce and mostly huge chunks of tomato and onion -- not chopped, not tossed, and not at all like the first one I had. It was honestly frustrating and disappointing, especially after paying over $15 again. I decided to call and let the owner know -- not to get a refund, just to share my experience. Instead of listening, he cut me off mid-sentence and talked over me, saying, "Lady, I rang you up -- that's how we make our salads." He went on about how he's been there 40 years and no one has ever complained, and basically dismissed everything I was saying. When I finally got a chance to speak, I explained that I only called because I had two completely different experiences within two days. He eventually said he'd "make sure his workers ask customers if they want it chopped," but in a very sarcastic, passive way. The way I was spoken to on the phone was rude and unprofessional. I've lived in this area for over 25 years, and this was my first time trying Tulip Deli -- and unfortunately, it'll also be my last. Maybe others have had better experiences, but for me, between the inconsistent food quality, overpriced salad, and dismissive customer service, I can't recommend this place.
