What would be your expectations after going back to this place after 14 days? To be honest, I'm still overwhelmed by how the food taste. I ordered pancakes with eggs, coffee, and French Fries. I was sold on the first pancakes bites. The lights salted butter mix with syrup greeted my tongue with an absolute flavor that forced me to stuff my face. I wanted to save the fries for last, but really the coffee ended up being last. The kitchen stuff was amazing and Rita always provides an excellent service at cashier. The people who work there are really good at keeping things moving. They have a great selection of food, from pizza and Italian dishes to sandwiches and hot paninis. It's a deli with hot food and Italian choices, which is really nice. They have good salads too. The atmosphere is a little noisy, but it's a busy lunchtime deli, so it's not unexpected. This is still one of my favorite lunch spots. The paninis are a really good deal. They have a big assortment of already made paninis ready to heat and they are all good. I do notice that they have been getting stingy with the chicken on the onI order most "the Bistro" and I'm guessing that goes for the other ones also. Don't think people don't realize! Some bites don't have any chicken and the cutlets are now really thin. Just raise the price if you have to and don't skimp. Update 10-25-19: Not sure what's happening to this place. It seems like everything is dirty. Cash register is dirty, bathroom is disgusting with thick grime and dirt on the door, and last 2 times, no soap in Men's room. One star is generous on my behalf. We place large lunch orders that are faxed in with specific requests. Today I ordered the " Turkey patty melt with grilled onion relish" . I was so excited to try this and couldn't wait for lunch to arrive. What came was A turkey burger patty on toasted rye bread (soggy rye bread would be more accurate ) with a slice of Swiss cheese and some red onion and pickle on the side. Absolute no "grilled onion relish" and the burger itself was not grilled "diner style" as stated on the menu . This was also supposed to come with fries and came with potato wedges instead. I asked for sides of ranch dressing which was written down on my dish but not included . It's clear that there is absolutely no attention to detail and often there specials are not as listed on the menu. The Tuna MAC is literally drowning in mayonnaise as well. Very disappointed once again. If you don't have something available don't put it on your menu OR at the very least pick up the phone and let your customer know that what they are ordering isn't what they will receive. Not the greatest place but there's something there for every palate. A decent selection of wraps and salads for on-the-go. They have pizza, deli sandwiches, hot food trays during lunch hours, large selection of cold-salads. The whole set up/flow of waiting lines can be confusing and congested. There's three different lines in the same vicinity for the salad bar, pizza counter and deli counter but you have to make sure you're on the right one. And then the deli counter's line runs into the line to pay. A tad disorganized. They have a good selection of baked goods near the registers. I found that the rainbow cookies have a strange aftertaste, but just my personal experience. And if you don't have cash, they have the cash discount program so expect to pay a bit extra for the convenience of using your credit or debit card. Food overall is good, not great. I recently got the chicken Caesar pasta salad which tasted pretty good other than the fact that the chicken was a bit chewy. I've ordered hot foods and depending on what you get, most of it is pretty good. Recently went on Thursday and no one wanted to help me. there was a female cleaning the windows at the salad bar and I asked if anyone was there and she said yes but as I stood there with my lettuce waiting to be helped, she continued to clean and I decided to put it back and get something smaller. worst service ever!!!! not sure if the workers speak English but when you ask them something they just look at you and walk away. I waited 20minutes to pick up an order. they couldn't find my order slip then the food was cooked but the guy who was cutting the breakfast pizza and putting it in the box was moving in slowmotion. We have been customers of this Deli for a few years for mostly catering salad packages and sandwiches for special events such as home parties & BBQs. Our experienced has been good and their prices are reasonable for what they provide. I happened to have a small gathering at my house and I only needed eight wraps. They would not provide me with a sandwich basket unless I paid more for the sandwiches. But I with a little help from my casher friend, she provided me with a decorated plastic plate with a paper cover. She was very helpful compared to others in some cases I have experienced. Not only did they forget a customers order, my normal roast beef on a roll sandwich would have fed a 4 year old it was soo small and WHIMPY!!!
