Very impressed by how well the place presented itself. Very clean, neat, fully stocked and an immense variety of items. The prices are reasonable. The best asset? The people working there! Smiling, ready to help, one can really feel the love. And they didn't charge me for a fancy bag. The the prepared seafood section really caught my attention; the calamari salad was the best I ever seen, so was the octopus salad, the amount of vegetables on the mix was perfect and the choice was right on! Most stores exaggerate the amount of veggies in order to increase profit, they don't! Once again, I'm amazed by this store and I wish there were a lot more around Long Island. You can feel the passion for honesty and perfection, hard to find these days!!!

Beautiful store. Many departments. Clean, lots of help, seating area to eat, with bathrooms available. Store is packed with goods. When I went to pay, my bill came to $34.42. Handed the cashier $40.42. She was immediately lost. Don't ask. Took out her phone for the calculator app. Couldn't figure that out, either. Finally another cashier came and told her what to do. Perhaps this person belongs in another department, not wasting my time trying to do simple arithmetic, which is a cashier's main responsibility. Poor management.

Hot sandwiches - great selection!

My friends & I went back to Uncle Guiseppe's recently : We LOVED IT ! (Hard to believe I'm writing a review about grocery shopping!) Made a day of it - once again, we went there to eat lunch *before* we began our grocery shopping. Food service area did NOT disappoint: clean, fresh, & DELICIOUS ! Great stuff too if you love Sushi ! Kudos to the Sushi chefs for the excellent selection. Love the Kani (crab) salad, Naruto rolls, fresh Salmon, Tuna, salads & so much more. With the addition of ALL the other heat & serve foods, there are enough choices to make anyone happy. In this review, I'd especially like to commend Mandi D'A (from Uncle G's call center), Jacky S (Customer Service manager) & Kathleen D (Front-End bookkeeper and CX desk lead cashier associate). Mandi D'A was my first point of contact when I initially called the corporate offices & left a message for Uncle Giuseppe's Customer Experience Supervisor, Mr Edward C. Mandi D'A was polite, professional & very helpful. Edward C returned my call promptly- he was also extremely professional & with the help of Mandi D'A, they were able to respond to my query regarding their super cool insulated red grocery bags-which are great by the way! During my latest visit, I took lots of pictures (included here), to exemplify how appetizing, tempting (bakery anyone ?), clean, fresh, & appealing all of Uncle Guissepe's food is. I met with Jacky S, Kathleen D, just to say hello and let them know we brought along 2 more friends with us to EXPERIENCE Uncle Giuseppe's. Kathleen D and Jacky were ready to help, & make sure our shopping experience was enjoyable. Going above and beyond is standard practice at Uncle Giuseppe's The bakery, OMG, the 'grab & go' refrigerated items- outstanding selection, the deli -great selection, clean & fresh - am I leaving anything out ? No doubt I am since there's just such a vast selection of food, & Italian specialty products. During this visit, I had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Robert S, who was busy in the fresh deli/appetizer area when I asked where I could find 'MUSH' (overnight oats- as seen on Shark Tank). Of course, Uncle Guiseppe's had it & Robert S took me right to it, He also pointed out other new & related items nearby. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable & professional. What more can we ask for ? Hmmm - easy : Open up a store in Bayside, Queens, because we LOVE Uncle Guiseppe's ! IF you've never been to Uncle G's, GO ! If you've been there before, then you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about ! I have not been compensated for this review & it is unsolicited.

SUPER WELL ORGANIZED CLEAN AND AMAZING! My first time shopping here, and I know I will be coming back at least once a week. The ready to eat meat selections are crazy amazing! All the workers are so polite and helpful! High quality and great prices! This will be the supermarket I shop from now on!

It was my first time to order their pizza. My son liked it so much and he now wanted it on a weekly base. The thin crust pizza was extremely simple but delivered so much flavors. The perfect balance between sweetness of tomato sauce and savory cheese used plus crispy thin crust that held all ingredients steadily. Simply wonderful! What made me feel great today at UG was such a small gesture by horning customers a $20 gift card (without even a photo to prove that there was a piece of hair on the edge of the cake I purchased 12 days ago), was such a classy, kind and generous gesture. In addition, it enlightened me on an outlook of how life should be, with goodwill, trust, and munificence. Thank you, Joseph (the store manager at the time) thank you UG for illuminating my life that much more!

Amazing choices. Neat and clean store. Helpful staff. Prices could be lower which is why it's a 4 instead of a 5.

The manager says oh it's in the case. She pulls out a cake that was obviously in the case and not made to order. No name on the cake, no paperwork near the cake to indicate it was mine. I said that wasn't made to order no one would even look up at me. Finally she said oh we keep them in the case. (Makes no sense. I worked at a bakery for many years and we kept made to order cakes in the back). So if another customer came in to buy it, they would just sell my cake? There was no way anyone working there would know it was "my" cake since there was nothing to indicate that and remember no one could "find" it. I took the cake anyway since I already paid in full over the phone and that's what my daughter wanted. Served the cake to family and was embarrassed. A dry old cake. I did write them and they said it was "fresh" and I could return, I already served the cake. I'll take it as a loss and I will never buy another cake from that bakery, nor will any of my guests that were served they thought it was terrible. Go to Uncle Guiseppe's, they make your cakes to order and are delicious. Terrible mistake I made by ordering from them.

French workshop desserts taste the same to me, as if they all have the same base: the cookies, the tarts, muffins etc... but it's a good place to sit, enjoy a tea with something to munch on. The lemon tart was quiet nice. It was a good balance of tart, sour and sweet. I like the marshmallow fluff that was toasted on top of it. The raspberry madeline was a sweet butter cookie, crunchy on the edges with some parts being soft. It was okay. We also got tea.

I wanted a funfetti cake and the one they had readily available had lovely sunflowers on it. The woman working was so sweet and put some writing on the cake for me. The 6" cake was about $50 dollars which seemed a bit high, but I think its pretty standard for a bakery. The cake itself was very moist and absolutely delicious and I would give it an A+. The cake I purchased for her birthday from another local bakery last year was really dry, so I was pleasantly surprised by this cake. The buttercream frosting was where I felt the cake fell a bit short. It tasted like pure unsalted butter and had almost no sweetness to it, so we ended up just eating the cake center and leaving the frosting. Unfortunate for an expensive cake but based on the other reviews I'm wondering if it was just a one time error. From the moment you arrive, you can tell this is not just a farm stand -- it's a Long Island institution with heart, history, and soul. Whether you come on a quiet weekday or a busy weekend, there's something comforting about walking through the grounds, seeing families, kids, couples, and longtime locals all enjoying the space. It feels wholesome in the best possible way. The produce and baked goods are where Kerber's truly shines. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and seasonal. Their fruits and vegetables are vibrant and full of flavor, and the baked goods smell incredible the moment you walk inside. The pies are legendary for a reason -- flaky crusts, generous fillings, and that homemade taste that's hard to find these days. Apple pie, crumb pie, pumpkin pie -- you really can't go wrong. Their donuts and breads are also standouts, perfect with a cup of coffee. Speaking of food, the prepared items and snacks are another highlight. Kids love seeing the animals, parents appreciate the open space, and everyone seems to slow down just a little while they're there. While I don't always expect an overly cheerful greeting, the service was very plain and lacked a smile. Even when I mentioned it was my first time, the staff seemed indifferent. I ordered an egg and cheddar cheese biscuit and a small coffee with sugar-free French vanilla and almond milk, which came to $15. I also picked up two mini pies for $14. The breakfast sandwich was okay, but for the price, I expected more cheese and a bit more flavor. However, the mini pastries were absolutely delicious! I would 100% come back just for those. The store itself was very clean.
