I love the moon. I finally got to try MoonTea when I was out in the 'vale this past weekend. My lady and I walked in and checked out the menu. This was the first time I saw a milk tea menu that listed the tea strengths for each drink, that's really cool. After studying the menu for a bit, one of the guys at the counter asked me if we needed any help. Nice of him. We were wondering about the stinky tofu, since some stinky tofus are weak sauce. He said it was average. I also asked what was their most roasty tea, he wasn't sure, but he and his colleagues suggested the da hong pao. The da hong pao is one that is listed as having a strong tea flavor, which I love, so many places barely have tea flavor! So I took his suggestion, and ordered it at their recommended sweetness and ice, non-dairy. While we waited I enjoyed and grooved too the music they played. As I drove home, I tasted the tea, and it's definitely the best milk tea I have had in a while! The best one was definitely the ceylon cheese milk tea at 25% sugar. It was way more creamy and rich than the others so I'd give that a 6.9.
