This is your SIGNAL to check out @coffeesignal.la ! As someone who's tried most of the Korean cafes in Ktown, I'm so glad that I finally checked this spot off my list of bookmarks! This modern retro cafe offers a diverse menu of unique Korean cream top drinks and yummy croffles, toasts, and breakfasts sandwiches that are lovingly and freshly crafted to perfection! My personal favorites were the cherry blossom and strawberry cloud lattes, which were made from a high quality roast of Stereoscope coffee beans and both so elegantly fragrant. I also LOVED the avocado toast and matcha croffle, and would recommend checking out their egg mayo croffle, which is only available at their cafe. Definitely check them out for amazing drinks and breakfast dishes, as well as a great cafe ambience for getting work done! I got the Toffee Nut Einspänner half sweet. It was very good and loved the fact it was coffee forward. The expresso has a good flavor and not acidic at all. The lady who rang me up was also super sweet. 10/10 recommend!!

Free Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets, and a fair one drink minimum mean you can actually settle in and get things done. They use Stereoscope beans, which earns them some credibility, but don't come in expecting reverent pour-overs and hushed tones about terroir. The focus here is accessibility, and that's a feature, not a flaw. The free parking lot plus metered street parking make it one of the most convenient options around.
Tried their matcha einspanner from the new matcha menu they just added and it's so good that I'm actually writing a review for it. Matcha is rich and creamy, server is great, and the cafe is very cute with plenty of seating and natural light. Wifi outlets AC bathrooms
Tried Coffee Signal for the first time and I'm impressed. The strawberry cloud was so good! The inside is super cute and has a cozy vibe. Service was great too. Definitely coming back.
Came here to do some work on a Sunday afternoon. I like to do serious work in coffee shops, so I always pay attention to whether they have plenty of outlets. This place passed the outlet test with flying colors! Decent amount of seating, and I loved the colorful decor. The hazelnut espresso cake was decent, but I would've loved for it to be a bit warmer. The iced hibiscus tea was refreshing, and the barista was very nice. There's a parking lot and free street parking available. Definitely will be one of my new go to coffee shops in Koreatown.
Cute and trendy coffee shop in Ktown! I got the Toffee Nut Einspanner which had a cream top and oat milk. I also got a date ginger matcha scone. The scone was very filling but the highlight was the coffee. I really enjoyed it - sweet and creamy! We got our order pretty quickly. The lids, straws, napkins, etc are on the side by the pick up counter.
I don't think people talk about Coffee Signal enough. I've been a few times and have no complaints. They have a very diverse menu with a lot of unique and seasonal drinks so I always look forward to seeing what new items are on the menu. They are located in a plaza so if you get lucky you'll snag a parking spot. I encourage you all to support this awesome small business now more than ever!

My Sibling got chaga matcha (mushroom in it?) it's supposed to be good for your brain. I took a sip so perhaps all my problems will be fixed some day Alas alas Also we beat the valet parking. Unfortunately this place was a miss for me. The lattes only come with one shot of espresso which I find a little odd since the standard is two so I had to pay even extra to get a triple shot. The peanut butter cream top could have had a little more peanut butter flavor to it but it was good. The taiyaki was good too but not the best I've had. Maybe I'll try again another day with different items

I love cafés and I normally order matcha, so for me, both drinks were pretty strong in terms of the caffeine levels. The coffee flavor also came through heavily on both drinks, so they weren't too sweet. If you like a strong coffee, you'd probably enjoy these even more than I did. The staff was pretty straightforward and she made the drinks quickly. The place has a mid-sized parking lot as well as some street parking, so it's easily accessible. I recommend for those who like a strong kick of caffeine!
Behind a successful Boss is a good coffee. Now that's said let's begin this new review. Coffee Signal is a cozy and chic little coffee shop in K-Town LA located in a small plaza on Western avenue. They offer a modest selection of coffee, tea and signature drinks. Moreover, they have breakfast and pastry items for customers to indulge. We came early Saturday morning and were perfunctorily greeted by a hushful female Korean staff. Interior was aesthetically decorated with white and yellow painted walls. Furthermore, there were copious seats and tables for customers. I dig their orange egg lounge couch in front facing the large round mirror. Atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. I had a Lavender Latte and an Avocado Toast. My latte has a rich, smooth lavender taste -- perfectly bold and balanced. Food was just okay. Prices were competitive. Free WiFi. Service was spot on. Staff needs to be energetic and lively. Free Parking in the plaza. Overall, it's a nice coffee shop. I recommend it.

Saw Coffee Signal online with its unique drinks, so I picked some up after my workout. Service was nice and prompt with preparing the drinks. Got the Dubai choco einspänner and the peanut butter einspänner: the former was tasty enough, although I didn't quite get the Dubai chocolate vision it was going for: while the pistachio cream was spot-on, I think there wasn't enough chocolate to separate it from the coffee base, and I mostly just tasted coffee. Not bad, but not quite what I was expecting. However, the peanut butter einspänner was fantastic: it was like drinking liquified peanut butter! There was also a roasted flavor profile to it, which created complexity in the drink. Also found the peanut crumbs on top a lovely touch. Overall, I'd go to Coffee Signal for the peanut einspänner alone! read more

Drinks: I got the dubai chocolate einspanner and it was pretty good! The coffee could definitely be stronger. I love how many einspanner options they have and I likely will come back to try the other options. Service: the worker was not too friendly and didn't seem happy to be there. There is free parking. Ambiance: It is very clean and lots of tables. It wasn't too busy when I came. read more
My next favorite cafe study is LA is here! Three criteria: Free parking, good food, strong wifi! I didn't think this place was good because it was pretty viral for a while but I was wrong. They have so many drinks combinations and all looks good. I chose the Cloud Strawberry Latte to take a break from matcha and girl it was such an amazing choice. Subtle sweetness pair with fresh strawberry puree and cream top with dried strawberries, just a masterpiece and gave me enough caffein! (and the drink is sooo beautiful too) I ordered a Mayo Egg Croffle and I thought it might be weird because croffle is usually a dessert, but the creamy egg mayo really complimented well with the sweet croffle for a light lunch. Bonus point is it's really crispy no matter how long you left out so taste always freshhhh (girl's a slow eater :( ) Interior is nice and clean. Strong wifi, I stayed for 4 hours to study and when I came at 11 it was no one so pretty solid studying spot. There was a small parking lot but no valet parking which is a gem in LA! Solid 5 stars no regret for a $20 ish excellent experience! read more

K-town always has the BEST coffee spots! This one surprisingly open late. Came after the dodger game and ordered a couple lattes. They have the basics and elaborate drinks as well! Barista was super friendly with us. A great spot to hang out as they have seating and it's decorated cute. 10/10 would come back read more

Cute hidden coffee shop gem in Ktown! I've been here a long time ago, but they really renovated this place well! The interior is decorated so cutely with bright colors and fun portraits. The menu is also upgraded with many unique things like the Dubai chocolate Einspanner and an egg croffle sandwich. I got the Strawberry Peach Rooibos Tea and it was not too sweet, fruity, and refreshing! I also loved the small chunks of strawberry bits. I also tried my friend's tiramisu latte and that was also yummy as well. This spot is also good to study/work out of as there are plenty of outlets and WiFi. I definitely would come back to work from here and to try their other drink and food items. read more
Literally my new favorite coffee shop! Hidden gem because I found this spot randomly browsing on UberEats (bonus promotion)! There are so many options and I couldn't decide what to try. The number 1 drink was listed as the Dubai chocolate eispanner- and wow! So good. I also tried the egg croffle and although I had my doubts about sweet and savory together- it was a hit. My friends opted for the hazelnut latte, toffee nut latte and egg avo sandwich. They enjoyed their drinks.. but I'd have to say the brioche was not up to par. It was dry and hard- I feel they need to upgrade this part and it would have been perfect. I can't wait to try their other drinks and food.. the peanut butter einspanner caught my eye read more

The coffee menu is unreal. There are so many signature lattes, it was really difficult to choose from all of them. I decided on the strawberry cloud, and it did not disappoint. It is one of their most popular for a reason. My favorite part was the dried strawberries on the cloud cream; it was so good! I also tried a bit of their green grape ade. I was personally not a big fan because it was like sparkling soda, but my partner liked it a lot. I also loved their interior design and decor :) read more

I stopped by early this morning around opening and it was open on Christmas Day! Great start! The prices aren't bad too it's reasonable. Clean in the inside, thanks to the employee that helped me this morning. I ended up going with the peanut butter einspanner which was perfection! This place has several drink selections but I went with the ice cream Einspanner & my boyfriend ordered the Dubai chocolate Einspanner. We both loved our drinks. I can't wait to come back and try another more of their selections . I also notice they have croffles so I plan to try that next time I come in as well. Another good thing about this place is they have plenty of parking at least when we went.. The decor is cute and festive rn for the holidays as well that gives the place a nice touch. Overall I'm happy to add another coffee spot to our rotation when we are out here. read more
both drinks (strawberry cloud & ice cream einspanner) i've tried at coffee signal were very very good, but in the future i would pass on the food. the food was pretty average price and tasting for a cafe, but while in ktown there are bette options around. i highly recc coming to try their signature coffee drinks, esp if you like your coffee on the sweeter side & are interested in trying unique flavor combos instead of ur regular iced caramel lattes! there's a parking lot out front & the interior is very cute, clean, and minimalist (perfect for getting a bit of work done)! read more

WOW!!! We just found our favorite cafe! The owner is SO sweet and the food and drinks were AMAZING!!! Our favorites were hands down the pistachio strawberry drink and the egg croffle (sweet and savory goodness) . But honestly, anything you order here will be good. They have a trending Dubai chocolate latte, a YUMMY avocado toast, and their sweet croffles are the perfect dessert. We're still thinking about this place days after our first visit. Plus they have free wifi which makes us a great study spot! We are making it a point to stop by here whenever we are in the area because it's just THAT good!!! read more

Very clean cafe and lots of seats to study! When we went it was pretty empty, but maybe it's because me and my sibling are lame and have to study on Friday afternoons (alas the woes never end we chose a grindset that never stops ) I got a Chaga mushroom coffee because mushrooms should help my brain be better and it did taste good but idk if my brain is better because when I told my sibling about how this mushroom drink was going to fix my life I stumbled on my words and didn't get the sentence out. Had the most delicious Dubai chocolate einspanner. I've never had dubai chocolate before and I'd never been to Coffee Signal before and thought I check those both off the list at the same time. Went Sunday around noon and found street parking since the lot was full.. Walked in, smattering of a few ppl inside, got my order real quick. Added $1 tip so it came out to a lil over $9. Delicious creamy over ice with yummy texture from the nuts & knafeh - the coffee was strong but not sharp and the dubai chocolate topping was sooo good! Tried a little before mixing it all. Very refreshing and a nice treat to myself after being sick for awhile. I'll be coming back for one of their egg sandwiches next time. read more

I've only been there once, but when I was there, the music was a little on the loud side if you're looking for quiet. You could study, but you'd want to bring potent noise-canceling headphones.
