Basque Cheesecake, canele
Zannie H.

1.5 The service is nice, the people are welcoming. The problem is this place is rated way too high. The matcha is definitely not high quality, it legit tastes like seaweed. In the matcha yuzucano, it just tastes like yuzu because the matcha is not good enough or strong enough. The dirty ube latte tastes like nothing as in it's not really strong enough on either sides. The Malibu latte is alright turns into this muddy green when mixed which is fine. The cheesecake is TOO expensive for something I could buy a whole of at Costco but it's good I guess. The Canele is NOT good, do not get it... Honestly, my review is just not going to be that detailed because I'm just underwhelmed and disappointed in the food and drinks.

I was today years old when i found out 6ixth sense had a little cafe spot! But anyways better late than never! This place is right on 6th close to western. I just went with the most popular drink (had to ask for their specialty) it came out delicious! I love coffee in general so i was happy with my drink! The service was great! It wasn't too busy which was nice so our drinks came out quick.

Iced dirty Ube Latte

6xs never disappoints. Their iced dirty ube is so good. It is a little on the sweeter side, but still incredibly delicious and addictive. I keep coming back for more because it hits every time. The baristas are always so sweet, and every visit has been consistently great. No matter how many times I go, the coffee is made the same way with care and attention. That kind of consistency and warmth is what makes 6xs such a favorite for me.

As a coffee fanatic, 6xs is my favorite coffee shop EVER! This is hands down the best coffee shop in all of LA. The space has such a cool, minimalist Koreatown aesthetic. It's giving clean, modern, and calm. It's the kind of place that feels intentional in every detail :) My go-to order is the Malibu latte with oat milk, and it's consistently perfect. As someone with a dairy allergy, I really appreciate how accommodating and knowledgeable the staff are. They're always mindful, helpful, and happy to make adjustments without making it feel like an inconvenience, which honestly makes such a difference. The drinks are thoughtfully made, smooth, and balanced, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. 6xs is a place I genuinely look forward to visiting!

6XS CLOUD

This is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots in LA! I used to have to drive to Koreatown before they opened a location in DTLA, so I'm SO happy they're closer now. I almost always end up ordering more than one coffee because everything is that good. My usuals are the 6XS Cloud and 6XS Mello. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area!

Ordered a banana matcha and a yuzu matcha drink. The girl at the counter was going over the order and was like "corn matcha" and I said no, banana matcha. I asked to get it less sweet and she said the matcha is already unsweetened but will add less corn syrup to the banana matcha. We confirm the order again. 1 banana matcha less sweet and 1 yuzu matcha less sweet. We said okay. We were especially excited to try the banana matcha. Order comes out, and it's a banana coffee drink...lol. I tell her we ordered a banana matcha and then she goes to tell me that they don't have banana matcha drink, only a banana coffee drink... SMH.. I'm so confused why she couldn't tell us that when we were ordering and while we were confirming twice?? We already had to correct her and confirmed it twice and then she goes to tell me that drink doesn't exist..???? Drinks were nothing to write home about. Would not come again. Especially with the parking situation and the weird experience. There's so many better cafes in the area, it's sadly a pass for me.

I went to 6XS Coffee Shop for the first time over the weekend with a girlfriend, and it was so delicious! I've been having a hard time finding a coffee shop that makes drinks with real coffee flavor NOT just all milk and this place totally nailed it. Will be coming back! The ambience is super chill. You can hang out at coffee shop while you're drinking your coffee or on the go. the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

My partner and I shared the Golden Hour (non coffee) drink since we wanted something light for post lunch. The drink was light and refreshing. It mainly just tasted like an iced peppermint tea with a slight citrusy taste from the yuzu.

This was just down the street from where my bf & I were headed & after seeing the menu, we were excited to try 6XS! I got the Malibu Latte & my boyfriend got the 6XS Cloud. I loved mine! I'm a sucker for pretty colors & blue curaçao. It went so well with the espresso. Will definitely be back for it. The Cloud latte was decent but the vanilla wasn't as strong as we would've liked. PS: Street parking only.

Dirty matcha with cream top and croissant
Rebecca T.

Decided to grab a little pick-me-up before a doctor's appointment and headed to 6XS Coffee. Parking is limited and metered street parking. Service was really nice and helpful in suggesting me food and drinks, as well as providing me the Wifi. I opted for the dirty matcha with cream top and a croissant (warmed up). The dirty matcha was strong in espresso, and unfortunately overpowered any sort of matcha that was in it. Overall, a cute café: I don't think I got the right drink this time, so I'll need to try again another time!

I've been to a lot of coffee roasteries around LA, and this is the first time I've ever been charged sales tax on a bag of whole bean coffee. That really threw me off. I literally just grabbed a bag of whole beans, paid, and left--no drinks, no other items--and it took less than two minutes. Whole beans for home consumption are typically not taxed in California, so this felt incorrect. Please don't run your business this way--it comes across as misleading to customers. The coffee itself was fine, but this experience left a bad impression. I'd recommend double-checking pricing practices so customers aren't surprised at checkout.

6xs Cloud (Iced Only)
Sandy L.

Tried the 6XS cloud and was not disappointed. A small coffee shop in Ktwn that serves a variety of specialty drinks. It was really hard to find street parking but service was great and drink came out fast.

Their new drink Oak Su Su will drive any corn lover (like me) crazy. Tastes like the Korean corn chips with a shot of espresso and is the combination that I didn't know I needed. Stopped in on a Saturday at 2/3 pm and there was ample seating despite only having a total of 5-6 tables! They were playing hip hop so already puts it at the top of my list. Clean bathroom as well.

Lots of interesting choices. The drinks were well balanced and not overly sweet, so you could actually taste the coffee instead of having it covered up by syrups or other flavors. The coffee itself was smooth, with no harsh or overly bitter aftertaste. I also liked that the flavors complemented the coffee rather than overpowering it. Loved the honey lavender matcha and peanut coffee. The drinks were beautifully presented too, so they looked just as good as they tasted. Overall, a really enjoyable coffee experience and definitely a place I'd come back to try more drinks.

And I had an EXCELLENT chicken Chipotle wrap at lunch that was recommended to me by the gentleman working at memory look. I'm not certain where these wraps are made. Another gentleman would bring them from the building in the same complex. I LOVED my wrap. They have a ton of seating outside too but there aren't any outlets out there so it's harder to WFH out there unless you're fully charged. But was great for separate meetings we all had to attend. The photobooth was fun but we were so thrown off by it taking 8 photos, we had no idea how many poses we would have to come up with hahaha. I would definitely come back here anytime!

The drink itself was good, although I found the prices a little higher compared to other matcha spots I've tried. Service was on the slower side, and it took a while for the drinks to come out. The staff were okay, but not particularly friendly. It pains me to give this 5-stars but truth be told, they deserve it…read more Let me preface: I am not from LA, I don't live in LA, I am not an LA POS. But Community Goods is often touted as staple POS behavior. Naturally, I scoff at the idea of driving to a ritzy part of town to wait an hour in line for coffee and Hawaiian roll sandwiches. And yet, that's exactly what we did. Given my preconceived notions of LA culture, I envisaged biting into a gluten-free, flavor-free, low-carb, lean protein, overpriced slider. I'd walk away disappointed, a bit poorer, and still hungry. Yeah, nope. First off, they had espresso tonics. Dead ass simple item but surprisingly hard to find on café menus. I absolutely love them. Note to self: look into making them at home. On a hot day like today, their espresso tonic hit heavy, almost made me want to grab a 2nd one (if it weren't for the line). But their slider stole the show. The photos don't really do it justice, and yeah it's not the fattest thing in the world. But bacon, eggs, and cheese on a roll is so simple, so greasy, so delicious that you really can't go wrong. Ok yeah you can get that literally anywhere. But something about how haphazardly and dgaf it's assembled, plus whatever the hell sauce it comes with, makes this slider just a touch elevated. The inside had fun little trinkets to window shop. Once you're in the little shack, the line doesn't feel as daunting. There are benches, you can look at the menu, you can shop a bit. The workers all had these sick black canvas (or was it denim?) overalls. I wonder if those are for sale? Seating is sparse, they've got tables along the sides and back, or you could eat in your car. The shack is small, don't expect to linger after getting your order. I probably won't be back. but all things considered, yeah this spot is hyped up heavy, but now I understand why.

It held onto its hojicha essence, I feel like some places dilute it so much or add so much sugar. Here, you could taste the nuttiness of the hojicha, and I think there was a touch of maple syrup added. I liked the drink so much, I ordered hojicha powder online after (not the same, obviously!) Would I come back again? Yes.... but only during truly off-peak times because I don't think I can get myself to wait in line again lol.
