Used to be Balcony, now the management seemed to have changed and the cafe came with brand new name, concept, and menu. Same convenient space with petite indoor seats and semi-outdoor covered patio. It's quite busy throughout the day on Sunday, but not to the point that there's long line. Some guests did linger for longer as they worked or even played games lol. We tried their latte with cream top as well as their Dulce De Leche latte. The cream was bit thicker than usual but it did taste good. If it could be slightly lighter, would certainly fancy it better. The Dulce De Leche was basically their version of caramel latte with extra drizzle, fit those who liked something sweet. Either the size or my drink choice, I thought the coffee was tad milky and I might want bolder espresso flavor. Next time I might either pick smaller size or went for other drinks.

Great vibes. Theres a cool outdoor section to work/study. It is a little loud as it is next to a busy street but it's nice and shady. I got matcha banana and ham and cheese croissant. Both pretty good!! I didn't expect an actual croissant for some reason. But it was nice and flaky. The croissant was $8 so they did give a pretty big portion (for me at least!)

5/5: New management with Dolce Vita, coffee tastes exceptionally better than before. Everything organic. You can change the coffee beans upon request as well! There's always free parking in the lot. 5/5: cute ambiance. I highly recommend.

Amazing drink!! The matcha was the perfect earthy taste and combined with the natural tasting banana cream top? Delicious! Cute aesthetic as well! Great place to study or chill. Staff member was also very nice and welcoming

"Found my new favorite spot in K town ! The quality here is top-notch--they use organic coffee and organic ceremonial grade matcha, and you can really taste the difference. I highly recommend the banana cream matcha; it's a unique and delicious combo which did not taste artificial . We also shared a butter croissant that was absolutely delicious--perfectly flaky! My daughter had the strawberry latte, which she said tasted just like the best strawberry milk. I ended up buying a tin of the matcha to take home, and I love that the tins are refillable! The service was amazing and the staff made us feel so welcomed. We'll definitely be back!"

Dolce Vita is located near the busy streets of the city but just far enough that finding parking isn't impossible. While there are many 2-hour options on the street, a few blocks away there is residential parking with no limits - and free! Little did I know, there would also be ample parking in their small plaza, but an afternoon walk is always welcomed. As usual, I had to get an iced latte, and their organic beans easily ranked at the top of what I've tried versus other cafes. Service was quick, and I appreciated the staff member's patience while I was busy browsing the menu. Seating wise, there is both indoors and outdoors. The inside features nice wooden benches and a mix of low- and regular height tables. If you're not a fan, there's also a high counter (and chairs) near the door, though there may be noise with an open door. Work wise, the environment here is very comfortable with mildly audible music, engine thrusts from the nearby streets, and the occasional espresso whizz. Need a chill work spot with the cafe vibes and minimal stress from parking? Dolce Vita just might be that spot!

Happy to see a nice coffee shop on the corner of Beverly and Western. The matcha banana drink was really good. It was like watching art at work when the barista was making my drink.

Cute little hidden gem café in Ktown! I visited this café on a Friday afternoon with some friends to get some work done and it was pretty good experience. Despite it being small, I liked the interior and exterior which was aesthetic and vibey. Outside, there was tons of outlets, it was shaded, and there was multiple fans in case it gets too hot. I ordered the Tiramisu Latte and it was above average. My favorite part of it was the cream top which wasn't too sweet and was creamy. The latte itself was okay, but I felt like the coffee was diluted too much from the milk. I've had better Tiramisu Lattes elsewhere. Still above decent though, but I wouldn't necessarily get it again. I also tried my friend's matcha drink which was also okay, but not terrible. The service was good and the servers were nice. For parking, they have a little parking lot that they share with other businesses so it may get tricky to snag a spot during peak hours. However, there are a lot of free street parking spots nearby which was nice. Overall, a good experience here and I would come back to WFH and/or catch up with friends. I would also try their other drinks.

Tiramisu latte - charges on receipt
    Cece L.

This place was called Balcony Cafe and looks like they had a change in owners and now is called Dolce Vita. Ordered the iced tiramisu latte and was surprised to see on my receipt that they charge extra $1.50 for mascarpone cream and 50 cents for tiramisu when that was part of the ingredient...would've appreciated if they let me know ahead of time that these charges will show up on the receipt because it sort of felt like I was deceived. $8 drink tasted good, but left sort of a bad taste after seeing the receipt like that. Will have to try other items on menu to see if it's really worth it. There's plenty of space to sit. Parking lot is shared with the other stores in the small mall in the corner of Beverly and Western.

Decaf Americano and Blueberry Cream Cheese Bagel
    Amber D.

This place used to be called Balcony Coffee up until about a little over a year ago. Still good vibes all around from the owner. I came here to finish the second half of my work day outside of my place. Ordered a decaf Americano and had a bagel with blueberry compote cream cheese. The Americano, though decaf, tasted acidic and that's including having creamer in it. The bagel was huge and filling. I liked the blueberry compote in it. I wish there was a bit more cream cheese in it as it didn't fully cover the bagel. I'm going to assume that it was possibly an off day. I did enjoy the soft jazz music and the patio to work from. Also there's a few spots in front in to park.

    John S.

Cafe in ktown with good coffee and good food. The bagel with jam was decent and the avocado sandwich was a bit better. The coffee was good too. Parking is easy during the day time. Vibe is good and good ppace to study. But if you sit in the patio area, you will get some noise from passing buses.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.

I love Bottega Louie!! Last weekend I celebrated my birthday here for dinner. I made a reservation…read morewhich makes it so much easier to get seated on a busy night. Sure enough, we were seated right away. My daughter and I love the Portobello fries for a starter. They are so delicious and crispy, and the dipping sauce pairs perfect. For our meal we decided to share a Cesar salad and a pizza. For dessert we actually wanted the CHOCOLATE FRAMBOISE but they were all out. They actually were out of quite a bit of their pastries. The whole pastry counter was completely empty. I asked the server why it was empty and he mentioned they sold out due to graduation season. I decided on the crème brûlée and my daughter ordered chocolate gelato. We enjoyed our dessert. As for the ambiance, if you're looking for a romantic quiet restaurant for dinner. Bottega Louie is not for you. It is a loud up beat restaurant. I personally enjoy it. They have a person making the pizza towards the back and this night a table of guests were cheering him on as he threw the pizza dough up in the air multiple times. So fun to watch! The chefs are also cooking your food with a clear glass around them so you can watch as they prepare the food. Definitely recommend!!

My friend and I finally decided on the pepperoni pizza, the Brussel sprouts, and the Belgian waffle. The pizza was so delicious; it was evidently fresh, made with fresh mozzarella and tomato. The crust was perfectly cooked and crunchy! We were very impressed with the Brussel sprouts. They came mixed with candied walnuts, which was definitely my favorite part about this whole meal. We ate the Belgian waffle last. I thought it would have been too dense or soggy by the end of our meal. It ended up being completely perfect. The only thing I wish was that we had more of that wonderful vanilla whipped cream and fresh seasonal berries. I brought my bff here as a graduation gift. We left with full stomachs and very happy. I loved the decor and elegance of the restaurant. We will return to try the pastries next!!
