Thank you Dolce Vita for the wonderful experience. I was running late Monday and showed up as you were closing down. The canele was so delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft custardy inside. I actually never had one, so it was definitely a treat. When at a Korean cafe, you have to try the Matcha Einspanner. The drink was super smooth and refreshing. It's been so hot lately, and it was a perfect pairing to the canele. I also purchased an almond crossiant - in house made! I was so flustered from trying to make it to this event that I forgot to check in or ask the barista her name. She was super knowledgable in the products. I love the space. I had visited this space when it was known as Balcony Cafe to study. I wished there was a bigger parking space, it would be a ideal study space when I'm cramming for finals. Cute place with good seating for it's size, a modest parking lot and good lattes and food! The baristas were friendly and everything came out fast. Today, I went to Dolce Vita Coffee Shop and had their Iced Truffle Salted Latte. Last Wednesday, (7/8/2026), I had the Iced Truffle Salted Latte here while my mom had a Hot Americano. We both enjoyed our drinks so much that I couldn't stop thinking about mine, so I came back again today. Today's latte was just a little sweeter than last Wednesday's, but it was still absolutely delicious. Just like last time, I ordered it with very easy ice, almond milk, and decaf, and they made it perfectly. I especially appreciated that when I emphasized the easy ice and decaf, the barista--who took my order and made my drink--asked me if that amount of ice was exactly what I wanted and confirmed it one more time before making it. That extra attention to detail made the experience even better. The interior was incredibly cozy and peaceful. They had both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio felt like a beautiful secret garden. With its cozy, quiet atmosphere, wonderful service, and amazing coffee, this is definitely a place I want to return to. Today was already my second visit, and I have a feeling I'll be coming back often. They have parking at this location! The workers there are very nice. Please note that they have signs of not allowing outside food or drinks in. What they do allow, is PETS!! Right by the restroom they have a board filled with polaroids of customer's pets, it is absolutely adorable! Their restroom is pretty clean with a cute little sonny angel. Used to be Balcony, now the management seemed to have changed and the cafe came with brand new name, concept, and menu. Same convenient space with petite indoor seats and semi-outdoor covered patio. It's quite busy throughout the day on Sunday, but not to the point that there's long line. Some guests did linger for longer as they worked or even played games lol. We tried their latte with cream top as well as their Dulce De Leche latte. The cream was bit thicker than usual but it did taste good. If it could be slightly lighter, would certainly fancy it better. The Dulce De Leche was basically their version of caramel latte with extra drizzle, fit those who liked something sweet. Either the size or my drink choice, I thought the coffee was tad milky and I might want bolder espresso flavor. Next time I might either pick smaller size or went for other drinks. read more

The inside features nice wooden benches and a mix of low- and regular height tables. If you're not a fan, there's also a high counter (and chairs) near the door, though there may be noise with an open door. Cute little hidden gem café in Ktown! I visited this café on a Friday afternoon with some friends to get some work done and it was pretty good experience. Despite it being small, I liked the interior and exterior which was aesthetic and vibey. Outside, there was tons of outlets, it was shaded, and there was multiple fans in case it gets too hot. I ordered the Tiramisu Latte and it was above average. My favorite part of it was the cream top which wasn't too sweet and was creamy. The latte itself was okay, but I felt like the coffee was diluted too much from the milk. I've had better Tiramisu Lattes elsewhere. Still above decent though, but I wouldn't necessarily get it again. I also tried my friend's matcha drink which was also okay, but not terrible. The service was good and the servers were nice. For parking, they have a little parking lot that they share with other businesses so it may get tricky to snag a spot during peak hours. However, there are a lot of free street parking spots nearby which was nice. Overall, a good experience here and I would come back to WFH and/or catch up with friends. Ordered the iced tiramisu latte and was surprised to see on my receipt that they charge extra $1.50 for mascarpone cream and 50 cents for tiramisu when that was part of the ingredient...would've appreciated if they let me know ahead of time that these charges will show up on the receipt because it sort of felt like I was deceived. $8 drink tasted good, but left sort of a bad taste after seeing the receipt like that. Will have to try other items on menu to see if it's really worth it. There's plenty of space to sit. It's been brought to my attention that Balcony Coffee is no more and that it's now Dolce Vita. An employee for Dolce Vita messaged me and requested that I make that distinction very clear. At the time of my review, the page was still FOR Balcony Coffee and labeled as such. So my review was FOR Balcony Coffee. The nearly 500 reviews on this page are majorly for Balcony Coffee, as are the photos of the menus, the drinks, the food, etc. Which means that the overall star rating is not reflective of a "completely separate, small, and independent business." I'm not sure why there isn't a new page for Dolce Vita that isn't still attached to Balcony Coffee so that Dolce Vita can have it's own reviews and ratings. Either way, my experience was for Balcony Coffee and I rated it as such. I will have to come back and try Dolce Vita and give it a proper review under the new name. read more

I came here to finish the second half of my work day outside of my place. Ordered a decaf Americano and had a bagel with blueberry compote cream cheese. The Americano, though decaf, tasted acidic and that's including having creamer in it. The bagel was huge and filling. I liked the blueberry compote in it. I wish there was a bit more cream cheese in it as it didn't fully cover the bagel. I'm going to assume that it was possibly an off day. I did enjoy the soft jazz music and the patio to work from.
