I'm actually at a huge loss with this place in terms of the reviews and my review. We decided to try the closest coffee shop after lunch and walked here. It's a bit hidden, you walk past a bank onto a narrow pathway. The interior is nice and it's very quiet. But the barista was not attentive nor friendly. I understand he is the only one front of house (we were the only waiting customers) and his back was turned towards us but once he faced our direction he never said anything, not even a, "One moment I'll be with you." Super awkward. The drinks are overpriced for the quality and in general. Maybe I came on an off day but my drink was not good. The strawberry matcha einspanner was awful and bland. It lacked flavor. I planned on getting a drink to go for my boyfriend but decided against torturing him.

A cute Ktown spot to work. I LOVE that it is a cafe that's actually quiet. Music was low so I can concentrate while I get work done. I had an Americano and a chocolate croissant. The barista was friendly. The best part is there is a tiny lot that is shared with the bank but if you go on the weekend you can basically park in any of the spots since the bank is closed. I only wish they offered more pastry options otherwise the place is perfect.

Hard to tell, but they add a cinnamon stick to their Spanish Latte.

Really modern coffee shop. Garage Parking is immensely limited. You'll have a better chance finding street parking. PRICES are a bit on the higher end that I can't justify for the coffee that they offer. You might think otherwise, but that's my take from my first visit. STAFF were aware of customers waiting to order and acknowledged that they will be with you shortly. Nothing really stood out as far as their customer service, really. Would I come back here? I don't see it happening anytime soon, especially with the amount t of other options for coffee shops in the area.

Great new coffee place on Olympic Blvd. and Catalina Street. The space is quaint and cozy with comfortable couches, lounge chairs, and tables. There is free Wi-Fi and a public restroom. The service is great the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. At the pick up counter are two cold brew drips that are on each side. They are not just decorations. The barista told me it takes 8-9 hours to get a liter of brew. Anyway, the menu is a bit pricey but we'll worth it. This for the pour over, espresso, drip, and specialty coffees. The pastries are good too. Enjoy!

I'll start off by saying what most people already know about this place; It's an amazing study space. The music is neither too loud or too quiet, it's the perfect volume if you want to listen to your own music with headphones, or prefer the cafe music. It's so nice inside, from air conditioning to a well-lit environment. There's plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor. The service was good :). I ordered a cappuccino, and let me tell you the coffee was amazing. The only issue I had was that the menu on the wall may be outdated. The price for a cappuccino says $5.00 on the wall, but I was charged $5.75 for the drink itself. If you're traveling by car, there is plenty of parking space as well!

While in LA this Az girl still needs her coffee Parking can get a little tricky but that appears to be an LA thing Emotionally prepare yourself to park on the street on in the parking garage Just know that this coffee is totally worth the parking drama Never have I ever had a Spanish Latte and now that I've had it I'm addicted This is one of the cutest coffee shops Reasonably priced There weren't any items that were overpriced The service was top notch and the barista was warm and friendly while explaining to me how delicious the Spanish Lattes are I didn't get to really sit and enjoy the spot as I was in a bit of a rush Lots of folks were there working and having family time If you're in the area check them out

Ambiance: the coffee shop is located on the ground floor of the apartment building and right next to the bank, which leads to a narrow walkway to the entrance, and it's quite spacious and stylish inside Service: super friendly and patient with questions Drink: standard menu for coffee and tea, with few specialties BOHNEN LATTE - **** syrup and hazelnut flavors, creamy taste, recommend Price: premium quality and affordable prices, about $6~$8 per drink

There are about four parking spaces, and street parking is not easy. The interior is pretty and comfortable to relax in. The coffee taste didn't suit my preference. When I visited, all the customers were getting coffee to go, but I don't understand why sales tax was charged on to-go coffee. Especially in Koreatown, many places seem to impose this unfair pricing.

I had the pleasure of stoping by this cute coffee shop today. I went in around 10 am and I was surprised it was empty. It has so much seating both inside and outside. Looked like a perfect spot to spot by in with a friend for a drink or to come do some major studying here. The ambiance was really good. Not sure if the gentleman taking my order was the owner but he was very patient with me as i looked at their menu to decide what to order. I went with their strawberry match einsppaner. The strawberry used tasted super fresh and not like that super sugary fake strawberry other places use. The matcha was good but i would have liked it a little more sweeet. Other than the it was really good. I also ordered a cinnamon roll which the gentleman helping me out warmed up for me. It was so soft and delicious. All in all its a pretty great spot to check out. There are a few parking spots located in the parking garage it shares with a neighbor business.

Such an underrated spot! Great ambiance inside, perfect for working or studying. The barista was so kind when helping me decide on a drink, patiently explaining the different signature drinks to me before I decided on a strawberry matcha einspanner -- which was delicious. I regret not finding this spot earlier!

If you're looking for a solid coffee spot, this place is it. Their Vanilla Einspanner is an instant delight that everyone should try.

Coffee and tea's are made to perfection. My favorite is the strawberry matcha. The ambience is very relaxing. Have homework to finish or work to catchup on. Kaffee Bohnen is where you'd want to be. The staff is AMAZING.

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

However, I am almost embarrassed to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed Stagger. There was no line, but it makes sense with the fact that we came at 4 pm. After ordering, we were quickly served. Everything from napkins to drink caddies to straws to drink sleeves were self serve, which I appreciated. Not to mention the free stickers! The drinks were on the sweeter side, which is what I prefer, but not too sweet that it drowns out the matcha flavor. The double matcha was topped with a thick layer of sweet cream which balanced nicely with the slight matcha bitterness. The jasmine matcha, which was the seasonal drink, was very jasmine forward and garnished with flowers (I ended up spitting them out; had the texture of disintegrating paper straws). Otherwise, it was one of the better matchas I've had, especially because it didn't make me feel jittery. The vibe was quiet, clean, and minimalistic. The chairs looked straight out of a modern art museum. It's like musical chairs, but the loser still gets a chair, just one without back support. This is my first time visiting a matcha shop in LA, and the bar has been set very high!

The coffee was good but I wasn't thriving with the amount of sugar it had. I will continue to stick with the Vietnamese choice or a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk.
