Super long wait/line outside the door, but service was quick once I ordered since it was just a matcha. Got the blueberry matcha which I didn't like the blueberry flavor but otherwise it was fine.

yayay the blueberry matcha is soooo good. i remember being blown away by the flavor the first time i ever tried it!! + had a sausage breakfast burrito (HUGE)... it pairs so well with the sauce that comes on the side. also not much of a line around 5:30pm on a monday!

This place is always crowded and there's usually a line outside. They have coffees, tea, pastries and salads as well as sandwiches. We went for dessert and got a pecan tart and a fruit danish. Both were a good size serving. The pecan tart was 10/10 good taste & texture. The fruit danish looked better than it tasted 4/10. The fruit was fresh but the bread was too thick, somewhat hard and not sweet. I would return to this place and definitely try a different pastry. Maybe their cinnamon bun. It looked tasty

This relative newcomer to the LA food scene became such an iconic cafe. I cannot imagine the campus and the USC Village without the long line for Dulce. Of course, I always get Blueberry Matcha when I am there. I also love their Chicken Mango Salad and Portobello Sandwich. Their selection of seasonal pastry is way too tempting for this dancer who is trying to stay away from sugar and flour. The permanent feature of dessert - fruit tart - is the bomb. A couple of tips: - if you have a return for Amazon, it's next door, bring it and validate the parking there. - also, and I hope I won't regret spilling this secret: you can skip the line by ordering ahead. You also get discounts once you are on their mailing/sms list. Great people watching, so waiting in line - it goes fast - might be a part of the experience.

This place is dangerously good!! I would be spending all my money here if I lived here. The kale peanut salad has a great sauce, lots of veggies, and with chicken added is perfect and super super filling. The iced matcha, a tad bit sweet for me, but is very very good! An above average matcha

The food: Green Tea Roti is what my friend and I came here for. It was pretty good, although it did not have that matcha flavor, which, for me, was a good thing, as I don't like matcha-flavored anything but my friend was a bit disappointed, lol. The service: The line runs out the door and they explicitly ask people to line outside so as to avoid the inside to get too crowded, I think that's a fantastic ideas as the outside has near limitless space (this Cafe Dulce is nested inside the USC Village, so there's PLENTY of room to make a line even almost half a mile long, lol. The ambiance: it was ok, I did like that one column that's full of stickers, it's very hipster and fits the criteria of being part of a vibrant and active college campus such as USC.

Cafe Dulce is a coffee and tea shop located at the University Village across the street from USC. Parking here can be tough. There is street parking and an underground structure, but this location is shared with a Trader Joe's and Target among other shops and restaurants, making it very busy. Upon entering, the space seems clean and there are tables inside and outside to sit at. Inside might be good for studying or working, but noise level is moderate. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with family. We were not greeted upon entering and it was not very busy. We ordered a Blueberry Matcha Latte, a Chacha Matcha, and a seasonal Pumpkin Pie Latte. All drinks were ordered with light ice. The drinks came out fairly quickly. The Blueberry Matcha tasted watered down. There was a faint blueberry flavor but it tasted artificial. The Chacha Matcha is essentially a Matcha Americano. The matcha seemed good quality. It was earthy and smooth. We ordered the small size for each of these drinks which is 16 ounces. The Pumpkin Pie Latte is only offered in 10 or 12 ounces which is a bit odd. I did not try it, but the person who ordered it was happy with it. Overall, giving Cafe Dulce a 4/5. Service and ambiance were okay and did not stand out. Drinks are okay. There are mixed reviews across the ones we ordered. There is also food on the menu. Might come back to try the food or other drinks.

Dulce is easily one of my all-time favorite coffee shops. The drinks are consistently excellent, and there's something here for every kind of mood. Highlights: the Vietnamese coffee (bold, sweet, and uniquely flavorful), the Dulce latte (a treat that feels indulgent but never over the top), and the iced matcha latte (smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet). On the food side, the breakfast burritos are hearty and satisfying, while the breakfast sandwich is phenomenal -- simple, but perfectly done. Yes, the line is almost always long, but it moves quickly. Drinks come out fast, and it's always worth the wait.

Breakfast burrito is yum and bacon is crispy bits of delish!

Still great! I visit here often but want to post about consistency! Premium Matcha large with almond milk 50% sweetness add honey, winning! Breakfast burrito with bacon (comes in crispy bits) has potatoes and onions and eggs and cheese, yum! Didn't get it today but because it rocks just say yes to the Oreo Cheesecake like yassssssss kinda YES! Parking is $5/30 mins after the first 2 hours. The only Ambiance was lit and loud, had to step out for a call so don't plan on calls while inside!

I was walking around just checking the area out, and decided to get some tea. I chose this cafe because it was pretty busy, which I take to be a good sign. I got an apple spiced tea latte. It was a pretty solid drink. I noticed most people ordered matcha. If it weren't (personally) too late in the day for caffeine, I would've loved to try one. I'm a matcha girl through-and-through. Maybe next time, because I can see myself coming back. There's also a nice variety of food. Service was good and I got my drink quickly, despite how busy it was. My only note is that I noticed crumbs on the standing counter & several tables. Regardless, it is a nice cafe overall.

    Alexandra R.

Had higher hopes for Dulce based on all the TikToks raving about it as a top spot--it was just okay. They premade the matcha in a large container, which causes it to lose its tea flavor. It mostly tastes like sweet milk and doesn't have the strong tea flavor the color would suggest. The service is fast and I was inside the door within 9 mins regardless of 13+ people ahead of me on a Saturday.

Pesto Chicken Sandwich and blueberry matcha
    Carlo G.

Lovely bakery/cafe located at USC Village! I usually come here whenever I'm at the village. I absolutely love their blueberry matcha. It's sweet and the blueberry and matcha flavors go really well together. I've tried the blueberry matcha at other Cafe Dulce locations and I think this location does it the best. This time I went, I also tried their pesto chicken and their spicy chicken sandwiches that my friend and I split. They were both great! My favorite was the pesto chicken which was flavorful with the pesto and cheesy. The spicy chicken was good too, but my friend and I would've liked it more if it was savory. The chicken in both sandwiches was the perfect amount and juicy. The bread was easy too eat and wasn't to dry. I also especially liked the side salads which were refreshing and tasted great and healthy. There's also a lot of unique pastries that look good and I want to try in future visits. There's usually a long-line here, but it moves pretty fast. There's also a parking garage on the bottom floor which is usually free for the first 90 minutes or something like that.

Obviously a popular spot for the area. The queue is always long but move rather fast as I noticed most people were ordering matcha latte (I'm no exception) and they have premade it in a big dispenser so they get the orders out the door very quickly. Matcha was very tasty, though on the sweet side, which I'm not complaining about. Coffee here isn't exceptional but it gets us going. Breakfast burrito was very yummy with egg, potato, bacon, etc. inside - very flavorful. The coffee shop gets busy so the seatings are hard to come by but we got lucky and got a table outside which was a bit chilly but very nice with the university atmosphere.

Hi, what are you hours for this Friday? USC village page says 7 am and Yelp states 8am. Also, do you have a phone number that works? The one listed does NOT work.…

What are the hours of operation?

Are there keto and sugar free options?

Espresso, americanos, Latte and premium matcha drinks are sugar free and you can definitely order keto friendly meals here

    Is it credit card only?

    Nope! Cash is accepted.

How much is parking per hour after the 2 hours of validation?

At USC Village $5. At Little Tokyo, I’ve paid as much as $8. I usually park in the $5 lot after 5 pm.

Yelp came through again with the recommendations for this adorable little Italian restaurant about a mile away from the comedy club. We were charmed by the cozy industrial chic decor and chose to sit outside on the festive patio, which is shielded from the traffic on the street by plant boxes full of plants, large umbrellas, and market lights. Love that the table settings are mismatched in the most charming way. Our plates were so beautiful, and we had fun showing ours off to one another. The servers are wonderful and friendly. Our main server took care to ask us what time our comedy show was because she wanted to make sure to get our food out to us so that we wouldn't be late. I thought that was very considerate of her. We ordered the burrata, meatballs, and meat-lovers pizza to share. The burrata and pesto sauce tasted so fresh, and there was enough burrata to spread on top of our meatballs and pizza. The meatballs were very flavorful, and the meat-lovers pizza was quite tasty as well. It was actually the perfect girl dinner for three, and we were pretty stuffed afterwards. One of the regulars who come to this restaurant made sure to tell us how much she loved it here and told us to come back for brunch or lunch. Honestly, you know a place is good when the regulars take time out of their lives to speak to strangers about how much they love it. I was sad that it was too late to order the pistachio latte (I can't have caffeine after 4 PM) but I hope to be in the area early enough to try it for brunch soon!

It's located on the first floor of the LEVEL hotel/apartments so the place is really small. In regards to parking, I would recommend street parking or parking across the street where there are two $10 parking lots with lots of parking that is relatively safe. My girlfriend and I walked here, as we were in DTLA already. We have walked by this place many times and it always looks really fun. The best part about dining here is definitely the vibes. The server (there was only one working on Saturday night...) was super nice and friendly but albeit super busy. There was a group in the patio singing karaoke and another large group here for a birthday party. There were a few smaller tables of 2-4 inside for a more relaxed/chill vibes yet still very lively. The food here was not bad but tbh quite mid. We ordered four items in addition to two glasses of wine ($12 + $16). For a starter, we ordered a charcuterie board ($17), caesar salad ($18) and for our mains, we ordered pepperoni pizza ($27), and the cacio e pepe pasta ($20). Now, what really irked me was the order in which the food came out. We definitely expected the charcuterie board and salad first but everything came out in such a WEIRD order. Definitely not fitting for a meal. You order off a QR code and after about 10-15 minutes, the PASTA came out first. And then about 5 minutes later, the caesar salad came out. We waited about 40 more minutes for the pepperoni pizza and then 10 minutes later, the charcuterie board came out AT THE END. ??? I don't know why they think this is normal ?? It's just totally weird and is a big reason why I'm only giving this place a 3/5 despite the great vibes. The food is fine and still tasted good but I just didn't like having to wait until the end of the meal for bread... Btw - I highly recommend the caesar salad! Check out the pictures because it looks as delicious as it tastes. The cacio e pepe was solid. The pizza was more like a flatbread and despite it being the full size rather than the personal size, it was still pretty small and is probably the size of a kids meal at CPK lol. I wouldn't recommend the charcuterie board because it seems really small for bread and two options and it cost $17 and came at the end :( I know it was a busy night but that unfortunately made the service less than ideal. The singular server was really nice and always had a smile on her face. But she didn't really pay us much attention. We also asked for water refills 3 times but it never came... sad because I really needed water at the end! The charcuterie bread was so dry... :/ Overall, 3/5 stars for me. High expectations that fell short. Will try again for drinks...
