A spot that's definitely worth visiting for both the food and drinks. The breakfast burrito was delicious, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. I also loved the way the cold drinks were packaged; it was a thoughtful touch that stood out. The space is beautiful, with a modern interior and plenty of seating. The second floor offers a cozy lounge and office-style workspaces, making it the perfect place to step away from the crowd, get some work done, or meet with a group. Overall, a welcoming atmosphere with great food, drinks, and plenty of room to relax or be productive.
Cool coffee and tea spot with fast, friendly service! Really liked my matcha, they were able to make it unsweet but have different cold foam options you could add to sweeten it up.

Fresh and piping hot. We ordered a coffee, smoothie, fresh juice and matcha, again all were so yummy! Highly recommend!
Such a great addition to Downtown LA! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was warm and welcoming. They were happy to make a quick substitution for my order, which I really appreciated. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the cold brew latte with the foam top, and both were fantastic. The latte was smooth, refreshing, and served in the cutest little cup--such a fun touch. The café itself is bright, thoughtfully designed, and has plenty of space to work, meet with clients, or catch up with friends. It's the kind of place you could easily spend a few hours in. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
Just walked by and found a cute little coffee spot! The front is unassuming pink neon signage so I thought it was a salon at first! They have some pastries and other breakfast options too. We got some coffee and our order was prepared quick and served tableside. Cute and comfortable indoor area to enjoy your drinks and food.
Super nice staff and dog friendly. Dre's cold brew was the perfect amount of sweetness with vanilla cold foam. Dre's breakfast sando was fresh delicious and hearty loved the aiole sauce and seeded pretzel bun!
The food is phenomenal! The breakfast sandwich is huge and I really loved it, and they have a good matcha. Staff gives out free samples of their specialty lemonade every day, plus there's wifi for getting work done. The interior is beautiful with really tall ceilings.. it's the perfect place to hang out, get work done, have a matcha date, or eat lunch. Easter Egg: their logo emulates an original Banksy painting on the side of the building. I'll surely be using it as my daily office.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dre's Cafe... and so does my doggo! The drinks are amazing. I don't have a usual because I feel like I try something new each time and sometimes I just come in for a juice. Today though, when we came in they were marketing a new latte that wasn't on the menu yet, a blueberry milk latte. It was uh-mazing. I do have a usual food order which is the salmon lox bagel on a jalapeño cheddar bagel, but I decided to switch it up and got the Dre's Breakfast Sando. Pretzel bun, egg, cheese, and some yummy mustardy sauce. So good. Not only do the food and drinks slap, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They always make my dog feel like a celebrity and give him snacks. This review is well overdue as Dre's has been such a great addition to the neighborhood for at least a year now!
Very Dog Friendly .. Lucy pulls me in to see the girls as they always greet her with treats ! The food is generously proportioned.. definitely can share. The interior I has a tropical vibe. They provide breakfast and lunch , lattes and pastries.

Another break, another matcha review. This time I found myself in DTLA and this was one of the first shops to pop up. Immediately once you walk in you're greeted with this huge greenery wall with the store's name. It definitely set the whole vibe of store as calming and relaxed. The baristas were nice as well and greeted me upon arrival. I ordered a matcha latte with an ube cream top and it's so delicious!! The matcha is perfectly bitter and the color is beautiful along with the cream top being so colorful and sweet. I didn't need to add any sweeteners because the ube was perfect enough! Maybe next time I'm in the area I'll order something off their food menu as well. Everything smelled and looks so delicious!!
Walked by this place and had to go in! Such a chill, modern vibe. The service was fast and friendly, and they had sooo much options it was hard to choose. Ended up going with the cookie butter iced latte and my daughter picked pineapple juice. So much seating and perfect to chat, eat, work, etc.
This place was a really cool vibe! I came here to study with my girlfriend and it was a good time! Outlets are there but just have to find the right spot. We ordered the breakfast burrito and protein waffles in which both were pretty good! I ended up getting the Cold brew with a vanilla cream foam on top. The workers seemed all nice and created a great atmosphere.
I've ordered through door dash multiple times. Very quick service, drinks are so tasty and fresh. Matcha latte with vanilla is my favorite. Love the can so unique and cool! The maple scone and chocolate muffin don't look like anything special but they are both super delicious!!!! Can't wait to try more items. read more

Dre's Cafe is such a cute, bright, and welcoming spot! The outside is inviting, with a few patio seats, and the inside is small but beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing. The prices felt a little on the higher side, but most of the staff was warm and welcoming. I also appreciated that some of their popular juices were already prepared, which made ordering quick and convenient. And if you're a pet owner, you'll love this place! Pets are welcome inside, and there are adorable areas throughout the café featuring Polaroid pictures of pets. Such a fun and personal touch! Overall, a cute little café with a welcoming atmosphere, great aesthetics, a plethora of items on the menu and some thoughtful touches that make it stand out! read more
We discovered this gem months ago and then forgot about it lol. Fast forward to months later and we rediscovered it! They offer pistachio and macadamia milks which make their drinks even more tasty ! The team here is so kind and truly seem to have fun during their day. There's a pretty neat upstairs space which would make this an amazing spot to have as a day-office if you work from home. Can't wait to come back - their food menu looks so good!! read more

I checked out of my hotel and needed to eat somewhere close and affordable. There's so many options around, but walking by the place caught my eye. The atmosphere is nice and even with the door open it feels cool. Music not too loud. A nice change of setting from the hot grimey LA streets right outside. I was greeted by the kitchen staff upon entry and the cashier gave me a menu to read. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and the watermelon juice, both for my appetite levels and also the price. These are some more affordable options, but overall the price's are moderate and a good value. Initially I was told that the watermelon juice was out of stock, but the cashier was able to double check and find me some. Presumably watermelon juice stocked and reserved for another drink, as she asked for permission to serve it to me. I really appreciate the effort and communication on her part. While I waited for my food, I had a much needed cup of water from the self serve station and the watermelon juice was served to me immediately. A hefty portion considering it has no ice in the container (which was full to the top when handed to me.) The ham and cheese croissant came out shortly after, served to me at my table. The portion is bigger than I anticipated. The croissant texture and flavor is well suited for the sandwich. It came pressed and warm. The white cheese was gooey and fully melted. Overall I am very satisfied, I cleaned my plate, and glad that I dropped in. Trying new places has me hesitant because a bad first meal of the day ruins my mood, but I had no choice being a visitor. So thank you for helping me start my day off right. Full, happy, and satisfied. read more
I found this place trying to find something to eat before a concert at the Orpheum. This place is SUPER CUTE! I was greeted immediately as I walked in. The gal at the counter was friendly and patient with me since it was my first time. I told her I was hungry and wanted a filling sandwich. She recommended the Italian. And I chose a Dre's cold brew to wash it down. The sandwich was AMAZING! The cold brew had a vanilla cream top. The cold brew was good but I would have liked go the cream too to have been a little sweeter. Overall it was great! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area. read more
Dre's is such a cute coffee shop and it helps that every server or barista are sooo nice! But I do think $11-$13 for a matcha latte is on the steeper side. I would go back only if I was treating myself that day. It is very spacious so seems great for a coworking space. read more
Friendly staff alright matcha drinks. Kinda pricey but the staff and vibes are pretty chill! They have a large food menu which is a plus for those who want to grab a bite. Staff was really dog friendly which is a plus and lots of seating for those who want to get some work done. read more

We were home for Thanksgiving and staying at what used to be the Ace Hotel (now rebranded), and it was super early on a Sunday--like 6 a.m.--when we noticed Dre's open across the street. Yeh!! We grabbed a breakfast burrito, a breakfast sandwich, a couple of lattes, and ginger shots. First of all, the food is huge. The salsa that came with the burrito is amazing. The interior is clean and really nice. The space is big with two floors, a long banquette running down the left when you walk in, and counter service on the right. There's also a large communal table in the back that I really liked. It's a great setup for downtown. read more

Hot new DTLA cafe! Make your way to Dre's Cafe. It's an adorable, clean, and comfortable environment with absolutely delicious and health focused food and drink. The staff are all incredibly lovely - there was not a person that walked in without a "hello" from staff right away. I had the Blue Skies Matcha ($13) and the Lights on Broadway bagel ($18) which was essentially a Salmon Lox. The EVOO and red onions were nice touches. The salmon itself was tender and fresh, and it was loaded! I also grabbed a mini chocolate zucchini bundt cake with sea salt on top ($5) that I'm saving for a sweet treat later today. The menu consists of espresso drinks, so many creative matchas, cream foam toppers, loose leaf teas, spritzers, smoothies and freshly squeezed juices. For food they have bagel sandwiches (either full or half options), salads, acai bowls, sandwiches, classic and creative breakfast options, and a delicious looking bakery. read more

Stopped by Dre's Cafe for the first time and I was seriously impressed. I ordered a Cortado to start and the chocolate Bundt cake and wow it was amazing. Super smooth, full of flavor, and honestly overall such a great combo. I also got the breakfast sandwich and it did not disappoint. One of the best I've ever had, fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and just overall delicious. The sesame seed bun which was incredible, really made the sandwich. The cafe itself is very beautiful, you can tell there's a lot of thought and care put into the decor. Every detail feels intentional and welcoming. The atmosphere is super peaceful and cozy, the kind of place you actually want to hang out and spend time in. The staff was really friendly and made the whole experience even better. You feel genuinely welcomed the moment you walk in. Highly recommend Dre's, the coffee, the food, the vibe, it's all top-tier. Definitely one of the best cafes I've been to in a long time. read more

This new café is an absolute gem! The vegetables are the freshest I've ever tasted--crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes--just perfection. I can't get enough and find myself coming back again and again. My go-to drink is the Berry Good Vibes smoothie with almond milk (so delicious!) along with the turkey pesto. Today I tried a different sandwich on the menu called the Sunbeam--all vegetables--and it was AMAZING. Everything here tastes so fresh and healthy, you truly can't go wrong. The inside is beautiful, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. They even ask your name and remember you when you come back, which makes it feel extra personal. Loved it here, initially greeted with a hello from everyone behind the kitchen; felt so sweet and welcoming after coming from the harsh streets of dtla. High ceilings were adorned with real plants and the music was a vibe. They had tons of power outlets, which I needed to keep my computer on. Oh! and a really cute conference room I had to myself where I did tons of class and homework with a view of the whole cafe. I had the blue sky matcha and the turkey pesto on the ciabatta, and I highly recommend the combo. The matcha was so refreshing and not overly sweet so you could really enjoy the quality of the blend. I got full with just half of my sandwich and took the rest home. I'll be back. read more
