I came here out of convenience on a Saturday evening and decided to give it a second chance, despite the last time I came. It was definitely less crowded compared to the last time; it was around 6:20 pm and the placed closed at 7:30 pm. When I arrived, I got signed in quickly and decided to get a gel manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was efficiently and neatly done. My gel manicure was done pretty well I would say too. The shape of my nails was done a bit differently than what I wanted them to be but that's alright because I am pleased with the way the actual nail painting came out. Let's see how long the polish lasts! read more

These girls are so amazing at what they do, the nail salon is super clean, very relaxing, and all the staff here are amazing. I usually work with LIN every time I come in for a pedicure (she does the best pedicures) and when she's not there, I go over to work with VAN (she also does a really good job at pedicures). I'm so happy with this nail salon that refuse to go anywhere else, thank y'all so much for the great pedicures :) read more

This is such a great nail spa! When I came in, everyone was very welcoming and offered me something to drink. Then, I was immediately taken to get my services done - no wait at all! I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure for an upcoming wedding, and they did an amazing job with both. I felt very relaxed and they were all very friendly. They have me a short shoulder, hand, and foot massage during the whole process. Both my manicure and pedicure are still unchipped and look beautiful even after a week later! I am definitely going to come back. read more

This place is conveniently located right by my house so I thought I'd go ahead and give it a shot! Super glad I did. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were the perfect amount of chatty versus just letting you relax. Great color selection, clean facilities, and I really enjoyed the wine that was offered. Also, they are open on Sunday's which is incredibly convenient. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and both were done perfectly. Whoever gave this place a 1 star rating is probably a crazy person or a class A diva. I will be getting my nails done here from now on! :) read more

Great nail salon. The people who work here are all perfectionists, which is exactly what I look for in nail techs. They won't settle for mediocre. Great selection of colors, including shellac. Plus, they keep growing their shellac collection! Comfortable environment, relaxing atmoshpere, professionalism, complementary drinks, and great selection of colors and options! AWESOME! With all the other reviews I am sure you understand.. that is is a great place! All I can say is I have Kick ASS Wonder Woman Nails and I have pre booked my next 2 appointments! Sammi & Paul are wonderful!!! I am excited to become a new permanent client! XOXOXOX read more

Called in an appointment with Sam and sat down with her and told her what I wanted and then PAUL does my nails which I'm pretty sure is NOT what I asked for, he cuts my nails crooked and his brush was too wet for the acrylic so my nails were sloppy and THIN and not sculpted at all like a PROFESSIONAL would do, then sam does my shellac all lumpy and gross, my nails are crooked and thin and ugly and for 80$ and a nice tip I definitely feel like these nails are not 80$ nails ! read more

Coffee N Nails - Lumpy, thin, broken nails so ugly - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

I've been here twice now and both times I've had great service. The first time I got a dip nail set with extensions and a gel pedicure from Hai. His attention to detail was so awesome, my pedicure looks immaculate 4 weeks later. I got my second dip manicure yesterday from Jenny and her massage is so good it gave me goosebumps. I love the way she shaped my nails. This will definitely be my go to nail salon from now on. read more

I've been coming to this nail shop for over a year annd can certainly say, they do keep me coming back. 90% of the time I get a fabulous manicure and pedicure. Every couple weeks go for a dip manicure and a gel pedicure. The dip products are really very good and can last you up to on average about 3 weeks before cracking. Here's the thing about that last 10%, admiteddlly some of the gel polish is old and discolors (i.e. rarely, but it does happen, the a yellow or blue polish turns green) - I'ver never had this problem with the dip. I love the chrome products they use but yeah $18 for a powder finish when the manicure is $38 is just obscene- they also charge $35 for a design (ANY DESIGN EVEN IF ITS JUST A DANG FLOWER) which is dumb and keeps me from paying for that service. Still, I've found the products and the customer service are better than most in the Austin area and they do keep me coming back. Would 10/10 reccomend a regular dip manicure and/or gel pedicure there. read more

I was treated to a mani-pedi by my BFF and we went with S&S nails. It was awkward because they did a terrible job and I was trying so hard to be nice about it. Not only was it WAY too thick making my nails look bizarre, and the color was runny and looked like it was almost a bleach stain on the nail. The color wasn't consistent through the nail...at all. They kept telling me it was normal and then when my friend said the color was not setting right I politely requested to just remove the S&S and just do a regular manicure. They glared at me and said it was fine and that I was clearly not used to what S&S was supposed to look like (I am. It was bad). Then they told me to pick up another color myself while I was mid-pedicure! My friend stepped in and politely insisted they do it since my feet were wet, etc. They glared. They THEN told us they would be charging full price for S&S nails. Even though they gave me a regular manicure because the S&S looked bad. They also knew it was my birthday. Neither one of us will EVER return. Worst nail day ever. They were beyond rude. Another time I went, they handed me a nail polish (for my toes) while my hands were covered in oil from a manicure and the bottle slipped and broke on the floor. I felt terrible and apologized immediately and sincerely but the tech and two other girls around me had immediately begun speaking very quickly and aggressively in a foreign language. It wasn't hard to tell they were angry with me and saying not nice things for a clear accident. I then apologized again, a little less nicely because of their unprofessionalism and rudeness and said I would be happy to pay the full price for the broken bottle. They said that was not necessary and then finished my mani-pedi. read more

Amazing staff, very pretty remodeled location with complimentary drinks. Everyone is so nice, and talented with nails.

I wasn't even able to get my service. They don't use AC and didn't have the door open. I was sweating just picking out polish. The prices seemed a little high for the type of place too. Domain prices with a riverside atmosphere. Maybe they do good work, maybe they don't. But I'll never know until they use the AC. read more

I've been coming here for years, and have always been pleased with the service and the staff. The staff is always friendly and makes the entire experience very relaxing. Stopped in to get a manicure for my friend's wedding while visiting Austin for the first time. It was probably just my bad luck, but got the worst manicurist ever. I think he was new and didn't trust his instincts or work, but he made my cuticles bleed and messed up my nails. It was so painful and prolonged because he kept stopping to ask questions of his colleagues. I literally have never had a worst manicure in my life. Look at the pic of my cuticles... He apologized at the end even though I kept raising concern for how he was doing his manicure. Oh and he had a coke nail- one super long pinky nail while the rest of his hands had shorter nails. Imagine what it was like to get the hand massage with this long nail? He scrapped my hands- it was disgusting. If you are going to cut the nails of others and provide a massage, you need to be sanitary and not have one long nail. It was terrible. read more

Summary: Loved it, and this is my new go-to salon in Austin. Details: First time here was yesterday, and I found my permanent salon. I got a shellac mani and "quick pedicure" with designs on four fingernails and almond shape, and it only came to $75. Not bad at all. Sammi does excellent design work and is super willing to work with you. She pays very close attention to detail and did beautiful work. I'm normally the person who will ask the nail technician to reshape a nail a little, or ask if they can touch up the side, but I have no complaints with Sammi. The atmosphere was relaxing, the pedicure was quality work and everyone I encountered was extremely friendly. The entire experience was incredibly pleasant, and the massage at the end of the manicure also includes a neck/shoulder massage too, which was a nice surprise. I won't be going anywhere else. read more

1. They didn't have the color I picked, even though it was in the catalog. 2. I live in San Francisco and this place is way more expensive than what I pay in SF. They charges $6 extra for OPI nail paints. Which is outrageous! 3. After I paid for my treatment, my technician gave me the credit card receipt and she expected me to add a tip there.. I typically do not add a tip on the receipt and I prefer to pay the tip in cash, to the technicians. I gave the person who did my manicure $5. She asks me what about the lady who did your pedicure, please hand over her tip to me... I was very uncomfortable by the way the technician 'demanded' the tip. read more

My SNS manicure here was super disappointing. Uneven, filed improperly, bumpy because they put the oil on before it could set. I'll never go back. I'm removing the nails myself today because I hate them so much--and I got them done yesterday. So disappointed. My pedicure was okay, though. Hence the two stars. read more

Just to add to my previous review since the owner (or whoever from the salon who commented) did not seem concerned at all. I posted the review late but I was getting my nails done for graduation which was in MAY on a 97 degree day. I was also with a friend who would be able to vouch for my review. And the fans were tiny fans on each of the tables like the fans you would use to dry your nails. read more

I went with my sister as soon as they opened on a Saturday morning, and we were attended to immediately. They have about 10 chairs for pedicures and several nail technicians. Since we were the only ones there, we had a whole team working on us at once. Mani and pedi done simultaneously, which was perfect since we were in a bit of a rush. Pretty standard massage chairs and amenities like water and sodas, and they have a wide array of colors for standard, shellac, and sns application. I was disappointed they didn't have any deals on mani/pedi combos ($50 for basic mani and pedi without any savings for doing both), but they did a good job. Perfect for when you need your nails done in a pinch. read more

I have usually had great experiences here, but today I went in to get a shellac manicure. I chose a rose gold color which they couldn't find, so them I picked a similar color but they insisted this gold color was closer and did that. With 3 coats the polish is still totally transparent. Not at ALL what I asked for, and thy cut my cuticles on 4 different nails to boot. Will not be returning. read more

Today was my first day attending this place with my daughter for her senior prom and she was seated automatically. She made an appointment 2 days ago to request her a seat. She got a basic pedicure and a gel full set. The service was outstanding. I was even offered a drink. She was able to get both things done under an hour and a half. I definitely recommend this place of you live in the Austin area. read more

I had an okay experience. They got me in quickly and my nails look decent. The only thing I didn't appreciate was being asked halfway through my manicure- right before painting my nails, to pay. I don't know what the intent of that was, but I did not see them ask other girls around me to do that too. It was just an odd request to make right in the middle of the manicure and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Overall though, I'm happy with how my nails look and I found the price to be reasonable. read more

In Austin for the day and needed a quick affordable pedicure. Quickly found Celfie on yelp and was satisfied with their reviews. I called in about 15 mins ahead to reserve two pedi's and one mani for 3 people and we were promptly seated which was great. This nail shop is all about business they have about 12 pedi stations and 12 mani stations, I'm guessing, and they are super quick but super efficient. If I'm ever in Austin again and need nail services I'll go back to Celfie read more

I've been here twice. The first time was lovely, you certainly get a whole lot of pedicure for what they charge. I'm writing this review because yesterday I had the best SNS nails I've ever had!. I had a girl did my nails. She did an absolutely flawless job. There is not a single gap at the top or sides, and the shape and color is perfect! She spent so much time making sure that the, shaping, and color were properly done... and she consistently checked with me along the way to make sure that I was happy with what she was doing. Honestly, I keep catching myself lovingly gazing at my nails! read more

I came for a pedicure and I had recently cracked 2 toenails. While they only charge $50 to put acrylic on all 10 toes, they charged me $20 for TWO toes. They had already taken the polish off before telling me the pricing so it was too late to go back. I won't be coming here again. read more

I went in for an eyebrow wax, which is a service I've gotten from Celfie a few times before. I ended up leaving with patches of skin around my eyebrows having been ripped off. I really, really like this nail salon and I'm a super tough cookie when it comes to my nails. If you're mani-pedi obsessed like I am, then you'll know what I mean when I say finding a great nail salon that's affordable, friendly, and good at what they do is hard to find. Actually, I was a little surprised by this salon because it's located near the UT campus, but not really. Just a little further north on Red River & 32nd street. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes campus salons don't meet my expectations, but Celfie nails definitely did. They do get busy, but I've never needed to make an appointment. I love Jackie (sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong). He is amazing with gel manicures! The rest of the staff are nice too & they have a lot of colors to choose from. They also offer waxing services and of course, a glass of complimentary wine. Because you must always have wine when you're being pampered :) read more

I'd been needing a nail session for quite a few weeks now but had been too busy, and I didn't know any places around, so when I finally got the chance to make one I picked them. It's a rather unassuming building, and a little cramped. I couldn't contact them via phone to make an appointment, but I was able to be seen almost immediately upon arrival for a pedicure and dip nail. By the time I had picked my colors they were ready for me. The girl who did my dip especially was friendly. Not sure what happened for the other people, but my nails are pretty much even, the technician listened to me, and the coats are even. Absolutely no issues with the service and my nails look great. The technician didn't seem to notice what I meant when I said my nails were bowed in and didn't totally make the end how I would like but they looked fine. The cost came out to $75 for everything, which isn't too much more than what I am used to back home. They do dip on the thick side and don't go all the way to the nail bed, so be aware. read more

I have been going to Celfie for a year and have recently switched salons. I started going to Celfie because they offered SNS (dip) manicures which was hard to find in Austin when it first hit the market. I went in last week to get a few nails touched up since my SNS manicure started to chip WITHIN A WEEK of my initial appointment. If you are familiar with SNS it lasts longer than gel and is does not usually crack or chip. It strengths your nails and simply grows out with your nail bed. An SNS manicure at Celfie is $50 before tip. When I say manicure, I basically mean polish change. It does not include cutting your cuticles, a hand massage or even cuticle oil. They simply remove your previous polish, shape your nails and slap on a new coat of SNS and wish you on your way. I get my nails done every 3 weeks and usually have no problem with other salons work but the past 3 times I have had issues with my SNS manicure which I got done at Celfie. I had a wedding a day after I got my SNS manicure and had 2 chipped nails by the start of the wedding. Their suggestions when I got back in town and was infuriated? $5 off my manicure to FIX their crappy job. Save your time and money and visit a salon that promises quality work. read more

Would give this nail salon 4 stars for their service. 5 stars for customer service and 3 stars for quality of their work. I went to get a mani pedi with a friend. We were the first customers of the day and immediately we were offered drinks and snacks. At one point I had 2 people helping me. One was doing my pedicure and the other person was giving me a manicure. I got shellac done on my finger nails, I should add the nail technician was doing this while standing. After I went home I saw that almost my entire right hand had polish that did not cover the entire nail bed and the color had glitter that I did not notice in the book while choosing my color. I came back the next day to have my manicure redone. I believe it was the owner, she was very nice and redid it no questions asked. I went strictly by yelp reviews on this one, as I'm not from Austin. I think it was a poor job the first time because she was standing instead of sitting and taking her time. I wish yelp did half stars because this would be a 3 1/2. Again wonderful customer service/selection of shellac colors, but I was not that happy with the final product. read more
