I'm so excited they opened a location in Norwalk! Right next to my best friends house, very convenient ;) parking is limited in their lot (about 4? Spaces) however there is parking directly next to the store on the street if needed as well. The interior is so zen and pretty! Lots of plants, clean, open space & shelves filled with different coffees. Barista was very friendly, and made our drinks pretty quick as well! My favorite drink is the Iced Strawberry Latte. Tastes like strawberry milk! Also, they use ESPRESSO ICE CUBES! no more watery lattes, thank goodness! To be honest I have no idea why more places don't do it, but it makes going to Coffee Code even better. They also have delicious sandwiches and waffles if you need a little snack. read more

Found this little gem from yelp. Training in the area and decided to try this out. They open right at 7am, which I love. Ordering to finish, I had a great experience. So I decided to try a popular picture on Yelp, strawberry latte. Owner was nice enough to ask me if I was okay with regular milk however I swapped out to oat milk! Great expresso taste, expresso ice cubes! Brilliant idea! Hint of strawberry that compliment the coffee and not over powering. The barista that took our order didn't say anything to us while we were ordering and rolled her eyes when I was trying to choose my pastry. It wasn't a very welcoming environment. The iced strawberry latte is so good! I love how the ice cubes are coffee too! They definitely put in effort into originality and detail. However, I do wish they had larger sizes. There are few things that make me happier than a cute coffee shop with delicious coffee and great customer service. Coffee Code checked all of those boxes! I ordered the iced strawberry latte and the iced peanut butter latte (I couldn't choose) and I loved both. However I felt the peanut butter flavor wasn't super strong but the drink was still good nonetheless. I asked for no ice for one of my drinks since I was planning on drinking it later. The employee asked me if I wanted the ice on the side (I'm thankful for the offer/suggestion). I was pleasantly surprised to see that they use coffee for their ice cubes. I've never been to a coffee shop that's done this and it's such a nice touch to prevent water downed coffee. read more

I thoroughly enjoy the chai lattes from all Coffee Code branches. I love the Belgian waffles from the Buena Park location, and the ease and accessibility of the Fullerton location. The Norwalk Coffee Code is the ugly duckling of the three. Pros: Clean More indoor space than Fullerton. Two outer seating tables 1 handicap parking Cons: Only 4 parking spots on the lot which are all in a very tight space. Off a Main Street which as of 01/31/2023, has construction and typically plenty of traffic. Their extra parking is across a residential street which has more than 10 Overall: Not my favorite location other than the benefit of being the only location in LA County All locations have very good standard when it comes to hospitality and people who love their job or (just an interest coffee lol). It has LOTS of potential, however potential means nothing when all of the negatives are worsened by lackluster service. 01/31/2023 I placed an order on line which usually you can expect in about 5 minutes. I was 15 or so away. My regular size latte was ready and priced at $5.50, but with all that time I pretty much was given 4 ounces of drink. They could've fixed it in the time it in the extra 10 minutes they had of it sitting there. Definitely not worth the tip I gave them ahead of time, LET ALONE the price I paid for it. Place is really cool. The outside is a dark grey but as soon as you walk in, you are walking into a very clean bright white inside. The staff are awesome and friendly. They are really good at explaining to you about the drinks and how are they are made. The pastries look really good. My finacee got a chocolate croissant and loved it. I got the cold brew, my fiancée got the white chocolate latte with soy milk. This is a must stop if you are in the area . Looks like a very chill place to hangout once covid is over. read more

My sister and I wanted some coffee and were pleased to see that a Coffee Code had opened near us. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte half sweet and an iced strawberry latte for my sister. There were two people at the counter, and they were really friendly. Hazelnut latte- Not as hazelnut-y as I thought it would be, but maybe it's because I got it half sweet (hazelnut syrup?). Still really good for a latte, just not as flavored as I was anticipating. 4/5 Strawberry latte- Not comparable to strawberry milk! The strawberry flavoring they use in this latte is a tad bit artificial tasting- I would probably get it half sweet if I were to get this drink again. 4/5 Location is in an unassuming plaza- we almost drove right by. The parking lot only has 3 spots and is VERY tight, but there's a lot of street parking. The interior is so cute! It has an open, minimal, and bright concept with a lot of seating- I can see this being really popular for studying and hanging out once dine in is allowed. Of all three of their locations, this one is my favorite! Love the white interior with wood, greenery (lots of beautiful statement plants), and gold accents and the juxtaposition of the black exterior. Coffee is solid as usual--love how consistent they keep this with all of their locations so you're never disappointed with a bad cup. This location also serves freshly baked pastries. They're all good, but my favorite is the waffle. That one sells fast so best to go early to get it. William is always there these days, and he's as friendly as ever sharing good knowledge about coffee. This guy knows his coffee. Looking forward to the day indoor seating will be open...can totally see this as a great place for catching up with friends or studying. Seriously love the interior! Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a tea and a coffee to try out both. We ordered the black forest berry tea iced with honey. It was good with not too sweet or too strong. It was actually refreshing! The coffee was also good. We tried the Spanish latte. Not too sweet, ehich is exactly what we wanted. The place is new, clean and spacious. They have their own parking or you can find parking on the street. Service was good. The only thing missing would be a pastry or dessert of some kind... I wanna start off by saying, coffee code has great quality coffee and it never fails; this review is mainly based on the service I received here with my mom. As an ex barista of 3 years understand everyone has off days, so I would like to say I give baristas the benefit of the doubt. However Ashley was very rude this morning. We greeted her with a smile and a "good morning" we got nothing back in return. So in my head I was like okay I've been there before no biggie. But to turn around and be all smiles to other people had me wonder what determines her mood towards customers. My mother got the wrong pastry and went back to return it to request another one and order something else, so she snatches it with and attitude and tosses the drink and pastry when it comes to my moms order being finished. Randomly tried this place with a friend bc we had always been to the Buena Park coffee code. Whereas the old coffee code felt like a dessert place, this coffee code follows the minimalistic modern hipster feel. Inside is spacious and clean and makes you feel relaxed right away. There's only one table outside but the inside has pretty decent seating and it seems like regulars like to come there to study or have quiet time, so don't go there if you're going to be loud. I got their pure maple latte bc it sounded unique and it was so delicious. If you tend to like your coffee a little on the sweet side, this is it. I don't live nearby but i would like to try their other iced drinks since the maple one was so good, so I feel like I can trust this place. The only downside is the parking. There's only four spots in a tight lot BUT it is on the corner of a neighborhood street so you can always street park and walk over. read more

I don't know why I keep coming to this one. Every time I come here, it's slow. It doesn't matter if I call it in or not. I called in my coffee and it still took forever. One person is making drinks and running the register while the other is making pastries that I feel he could have stopped for a minute to help the customers that were in line. And he kept watching us and so I'm like you know we're all standing here and that your coworker needs help. There's no reason why I should have gotten there in more than enough time before work, had a call and order and still somewhat running late. But to my surprise I only received a single shot. Now for $3.50 at 99.9% of the places I've gone to over the years the norm is two shots. Coffee Code's 3rd location is finally opened! I used to go to Buena Park or Fullerton location to grab coffee but now they opened one in Norwalk which is close to my home! If you are looking for the Best Quality Coffee Shop, this is the place. I really like their interior that has contrast of wood and white color. I tried their Iced Strawberry Latte which is one of my favorite and one of Must Try Drink on the menu. I love their fresh daily baked pastries that displayed on the side of the counter. Gah! Sort of mad I haven't visited this coffee shop sooner. The barista that took my order was so sweet-- she helped me pick out a pastry (all of which looked incredible, hence my trouble deciding) and she also made sure she took down my drink order right. I got a bear claw and a plain iced almond milk latte (but I will be returning to try their specialty drinks, apparently they have a strawberry latte on the menu?!!)
