7/10 banana matcha w oat milk, too sweet for my taste. Matcha is smooth and bitter . Banana pudding was a lil too artificial tasting, like laffy taffy. I said Iced and she said yea it comes iced already like I knew that? Menu was hard to see? No posted menu, had to wait until in front of cashier to see what they have. Very hard to do when there's a line behind you to thoroughly choose. My drink total came out to $9.67, quite steep for a iced matcha but I guess. Clean spacious place!
This review is for the biscoff Einspanner only. More like a 3 stars, but the place is new so there is time to improve. The coffee was way too creamy/milky for my liking. The biscoff cream was amazing tho. It tasted exactly like biscoff. If I do a blind taste test, I could straight out say biscoff flavor. I am happy that they well executed the cream. Now, they just need to make the coffee taste like coffee instead of super creamy milk. Coffee was weak since the cream/milk used was overpowering. Customer service was good. So happy to have found this spot. Two of my go-to coffee places near me closed down recently, so this gem is now my go-to. I've already been three times in less than two weeks. I've tried the Biscoff cookie einspanner, the strawberry latte, and the pistachio einspanner. On my most recent visit, my husband tried the pistachio one too, he said it was just okay, but that's fine... I'll happily keep going solo to try the rest of the menu lol. The vibe is cozy and very zen, and the drinks are creative without being too much. If you're in Whittier and need a solid coffee fix with fun flavors, this place is worth the try.
Favorite Coffee Museum is tucked away at the intersection of Beverly and Workman Mill Road, right across the Starbucks. Driving into the parking lot, I had to walk around the building to get into the coffee shop entrance but rest assured that there is plenty of parking in this shared plaza and that you are in the right place if you are following the GPS like I was. My hubby and I ordered the Hazelnut Einspanner and the Monkey Banana Latte. The cup in the middle is a regular cappucino. Their special drinks here are creamy and well-balanced. They have instructions on mixing the cream well before drinking. If you follow those instructions, then you will get to taste the coffee the way that it is intended. For me, it would be a 4/5. I am happy with the caffeine amount but mine did not taste like hazelnut. My hubby's drink definitely tasted like a banana latte though. I wonder if I can give this drink another try to see if I taste the hazelnut the second time around. I loved their cream puffs, one of the pastries on sale at the counter. The place itself is well-lit but at least when we came in, the tables felt awkwardly arranged. The arrangement of the tables were more on the uncomfortable side so I can't imagine staying here for too long, other than just catching up with a friend. I wouldn't come here to work or study but they do have plugs and wifi. On the corner, they have seating that reminds me of the interior of a sauna, which is nice for people to sit. If you do need table space, I would try going for one of their actual tables.
I returned for the Biscoff cause it's that good. Their cream top is thick, creamy and the flavor is there! Mixed with their strong coffee def makes it so delicious. I asked for their recommendation for another popular einspanner and the monkey banana was so good. Banana and coffee just goes so well.

I got the double matcha latte (whole milk, less sweet) and it was perfectly balanced for me with the cream top providing a rich creamy texture and flavor. I liked how their cream is not too heavy but balanced with a milky, sweet but balanced matcha color and flavor. I usually don't like drinking the cream top too much itself (I wait for it to make its way down to the matcha latte part) but this cream top was easy to sip on because it felt less heavy. Their matcha flavor itself was nice as well. I tried a friend's biscoff cream top which was amazing as well! Highly recommend for a cute aesthetic vibe and great drinks. Parking structure is free and it was easy for me to find parking.
Clean and spacious café with some seriously delicious drinks: the double matcha absolutely hit in sweetness and intensity and the Biscoff einspänner really tasted like the famous biscuit itself. Both very decadent and the perfect pick-me-up following lunch. Service was friendly and certainly didn't skimp on the cream tops! Definitely would recommend Favorite Coffee Museum while in the area!

Stopped by at approximately 3pm on a Monday - no wait to order. Ordered two hot lattes and two mint matcha lattes with almond milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. All drinks were ready in under 10 mins. Unfortunately, I didn't taste much of the mint in my latte, but the matcha flavor was very much present. Not too sweet, but definitely on the milkier side. The interior was spacious, clean, and quiet. The coffee shop is located on a corner of a street inside a plaza. There is plenty of parking in the plaza but the spaces were a bit small.

It achieves decadence and utility; the drink tightly embraces you with enduring caffeine while also whisking you upon a whimsical journey of playful flavor. I felt awake and happy after sipping. I arrived at Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) on Tuesday (around 12:01PM). Parking is easy; the lot is big. However, the entrance / exterior for this business is confusing. Customers must walk on the sidewalk to find the entrance. Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) faces outward at the Beverly and Norwalk intersection. Staff is professional, focused, and diligent. Staff (receipt says Hyunjin) politely answered all my questions and moved purposefully. My drink took four minutes and five seconds. Good pace. As mentioned, I love the Biscoff Cookie Einspanner ($7.70). The drink is not watery nor diluted; the drink is not too sweet nor bitter. Rather, it cradles a robust coffee roast within a fluffy layered cream. Once mixed, the brew thickens, and a creamier & gentler flavor emerges. I broke into a playful grin as I bit into the fresh, crisp Biscoff cookie. "Snap!" Regarding ambiance, Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) is a wonderful study/work spot. There's customer internet and password; details are written on a tiny sticker stuck onto the counter's glass. There's also eight electrical outlets. I especially appreciated the delicate instrumental music that chimed along the speakers. The space also felt well-utilized. There's about five small tables, one counter, and several portable mini tables. The location is very clean and comfortable. There's also a customer restroom. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience at Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier). There's integrity, passion, and skill within these walls. If you love coffee, this is a must-try. Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) is now one of my favorite coffee destinations in all of California. I sipped happiness. 5 out of 5. "GO!!!!!!!"
Aesthetic-wise, this place is very hipster coffee lover coded -- lots of wood, cozy vibes, and definitely a spot meant for studying alone or sitting quietly with one friend. Very much a "people-at-their-own-tables" kind of café. I didn't really interact with the staff beyond ordering, which was fine. One thing I didn't love, though, is that the menu is only visible once you're at the counter -- there aren't menus posted around, so you kind of have to decide on the spot. Now for the drinks -- both were amazing. I ordered the Biscoff cookie einspänner, and it tasted magical. The coffee itself was strong, the Biscoff flavor actually came through, and the foam on top was Biscoff foam -- which I loved. My boyfriend got the hazelnut einspänner iced, and it was just as good. The cream on top was super flavorful, and he liked it so much it was gone before our 9-minute drive home was even over. We both got our drinks with oat milk, and it worked perfectly. Overall, great coffee, strong flavors, and a really nice space -- just wish the menu setup was a little more accessible.
Did not care much for the pistachio cream topped matcha but the almond cookies were a dream. They're light and not too sweet. The pistachio cream overpowered the matcha and I wasn't able to taste the matcha at all, and the pistacho really wasn't the flavor I was looking for. I would return for the cookies. The shop was on the backside of the Pho restaurant. Plenty of parking. Fast service.

Favorite Coffee Museum is one of my go-to coffee shops. I appreciate that they are now open earlier, 7 a.m., which makes it perfect to stop by and pick up a drink on the way to work. There is seating on the inside with some tables that can be used to get some work done and they also have a wooden auditorium like seating area. They do not have a drive thru nor an online application at this time. However, it has not taken longer than ten minutes to order and receive a drink. Customer service is quick and friendly. They do have a stamp card reward system. Every ten purchases, you earn a $5 reward. Some of my go to drinks are: pistachio einspanner, double matcha latte, and the mascarpone vanilla einspanner. Overall, I enjoy stopping by and getting a drink. I would definitely recommend to stop by and give them a try. read more

Drinks were tasty! Staff was kind. The atmosphere was flat. No vibe at all. It needed more. It needed a good playlist or an inviting setting to sit and stay a while in. We took our drinks to go and they were yummy! Definitely happy we found them while we were in the area. There is a shared parking lot with others in the strip center. Favorite Coffee Museum's entrance faces the intersection. It's difficult to find, at first, when you pull into the lot. Quality drinks and kind staff are key! Was excited for this location to open. I tried the matcha with foam I really enjoyed it but I do want to go back to try the strawberry matcha I have heard it's really good. They are quick with your drinks we went in the morning and parking was great. Super relaxed ambiance. read more

Second time coming here. First time I ordered a pistachio einspanner and my fiancé got the biscoff einspanner. Both were so good! If you like coffee with thick sweet cold foam on top, you should definitely try either! Today we are trying strawberry and hazelnut einspanner both very good! I'm a little bummed this coffee place is out of the way for us but definitely a spot we'd like to come on weekends when the drive isn't that big of a deal. The coffee here is definitely worth it for us. read more

Stopped by this new coffee spot and ordered the pistachio Einspänner which is and espresso topped wit a cold foam. The espresso was rich but not bitter, and the pistachio cold foam was perfectly creamy--every sip was a little treat. Such a cozy new favorite! read more

Favorite Coffee Museum just became one of my go-to coffee spots. I ordered the double matcha latte and wowww--it was absolutely fantastic. The matcha had that perfect bitter-sweet depth (you can tell it's high quality), and the sweet foam on top balanced it out beautifully without overpowering the drink. Smooth, creamy, and so well crafted from first sip to last. Easily one of the best matcha lattes I've had in this city, and I don't say that lightly. You can tell a lot of care goes into their drinks, and it really shows. If you're a matcha lover or just looking to try something elevated, this is a must. I'll definitely be back--probably sooner than later. read more

cute store with plenty of seating. nice staff. my boyfriend and i ordered the: double matcha - tasted more like milk than expected. have to give it a good mix to really taste the matcha. mascarpone vanilla einspanner - pretty good coffee with a nice balance of sweetness pastry (not sure what it's called) - bread with filling! it was pretty tasty :) read more

This place is awesome! The service is top quality and everyone there is so nice. The matcha is authentic. I'm willing to stop by even when it's raining because it's THAT GOOD! I usually get an iced matcha latte with cream top. I also love how they have a loyalty card so if you buy 10 drinks you get $5 off the next one. The inside is spacious and very aesthetic. But yes please try this place it's divine! It's so worth it. read more

New coffee spot in Whittier! I got an iced Strawberry Latte which I enjoyed, my friends got matchas and other lattes. The interior has a modern minimalist design, with pottery decorations and a couple of tables that could seat your group of friends (like in my picture). The menu for drinks and pastries is small (we got cream puffs, they were tasty). Again, this place seems very new. It looked like everyone was still training and the place was still being renovated. The service was quick and friendly, there is a parking lot that can get crowded due to other businesses, but overall, this spot is worth a try! read more
Tried this new hot spot in Whittier and So Disappointed! It has a modern vibe and a sleek, woody feel. There are hand-made pots throughout. The service was fast. It's still a new spot and in It's soft opening, so I am hoping this will assist them in improving. I got 3 drinks and the cream puffs for my daughter. My daughter got the hot chocolate latte (non-coffee), I got the Strawberry Latte with almond milk (it's a strawberry puree base), and my hubby got the Hazelnut Einspanner (iced). First, the Einspanner is dairy cold foam ONLY, there is no plant based option. My daughter said that the hot chocolate was all foam and she didn't like it. My husband said that his Hazelnut Einspanner was not good at all and didn't know if it was because of the beans, flavor, or all of it. My Strawberry Latte was HORRIBLE! The strawberry puree was so dang sweet it did not mix well at all. Good coffee needs a good bean and clean water. I don't know if the issue is the bean or water, but something needs to be changed. I've been to many coffee spots and have coffee factories and I can tell you as of right now - this spot is NOT IT. read more

We loved this place! Tried the Strawberry Matcha and the Biscoff coffee and both were SO good. The strawberry matcha was perfectly layered, creamy, and not overly sweet, and the Biscoff coffee was rich, smooth, and topped with the best cookie butter flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. This place is dangerously close -- I can literally walk there... and I actually did. Definitely coming back to try more drinks! read more

If you love matcha this is a must try place, the double matcha is my personal favorite the presentation is nice. I like that they offer a punch card so every 10 drinks gets you 5$ off which is cool since I'm always coming here. 10/10 love this place. read more
New coffee shop in Whittier! It's in the perfect location. I tried the pistachio latte and it was really good not overly sweet, which I loved. The coffee itself was strong and flavorful. There was a long wait, but I didn't mind. read more

I have been coming here a few times now and have brought friends and family to try this place as I am obsessed. With that being said this was the first time I purchased a strawberry match without top foam and was left feeling pretty disappointed when I left and realized my drink was not served all the way to the top. Given this drink is $7.50 plus tax which is fine but at least fill my drink to the top line. Drinks should be filled to the top whether it's no top foam, extra ice, light ice etc. I am not a person who likes to bring attention but if this happens again, I will have to say something as I don't think it's fair to the customer. read more
This place is exciting, not only as a shiny new competitive coffee spot to challenge starbucks (right across the street!), but an artisanal experience that shows off some of the artists pottery, all displayed along the wall shelving. The inside is underutilized as far as spacing, it was clean and inviting but felt like it could accommodate more seating. Definitely a quiet place you can work from while enjoying a nice coffee. The service was pretty lackluster-cashier was not friendly and the interaction was purely transactional. We ordered matchas which took over 25 mins to make, but definitely passed the quality check. This is my second time here for first time around I had an Iced Bischoff cookie flavored coffee, refreshingly light on the sugar had great flavors complementing the coffee. Today is my second time just ordered the iced pistachio coffee and it's pretty spectacular. The coffee shop is really nice. Bery friendly staff and great service. Very good seating too , my first time here I was with 11 people and there was plenty of room for us to sit in the back corner on the platform seats and enjoy our coffee together. It's really great to have another excellent coffee option in the City of Whittier thank you guys for being here. Your coffee is excellent! I'll be back soon. read more

Went there the next day, coffee can be better & staff can be more friendly. Don't think will go back again. First time trying them. Cool place but the only thing is coffee was super strong. Started to feel jittery. read more
