It's 2 AM right now and I can't sleep because that double matcha is DOUBLING It was so good though, it literally kept me awake long enough to leave this review. Definitely recommend getting it earlier in the day or around lunchtime, NOT at 4-5 PM unless you wanna be up at 2 AM like me Taste-wise, you can definitely tell they use good quality matcha. It was creamy, smooth, with a nice medium umami flavor not too bitter or overpowering. Service was quick and good, and the place was super clean with a cute, vibey environment. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back... just earlier next time read more

I've literally been on weekend Matcha hunts and think I found another favorite go-to place for matcha. Parking was ample. No comment on the service and ambience as I stayed in the car but hubby came back fairly quickly with our drinks. Got the Double Matcha and hubby got the Banana Matcha Einspanner and both were sooooo good! Would definitely come back here. We are never in the Whittier area but the location wasn't too far from the 605 so it'll definitely be one of my future go-to. read more

I usually don't haunt around Whittier, so trying a drink from such a uniquely named cafe was a treat! Very relaxing and chill cafe. Love the display of teapots, cups, and ceramics. Plenty of seating to just hang out and chat or if you need to set up and study or work on something. There's also online order if you need to grab something and bounce ASAP (my case). Service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient with the morning rush. I was basic the day I visited so I just got their strawberry matcha. Not too sweet. Strawberry flavor with some after notes of the slight earthy matcha once mixed. This will sound insane to people who don't know, but the matcha is better than UG Tea and other big franchise spots, on par with other places that are essentially coffee shops that serve matcha (Dumbstruck Coffee, etc.), but is not on the same level as Yamari or Airoma. I would love to come back and try more of their drinks. Lots of unique ones on the menu. read more

I stopped by Favorite Coffee Museum in Whittier first thing in the morning when they opened I ordered the Monkey Banana einspanner and it was good not anything super special though. The cold foam was banana flavored but to me tasted a little artificial what I did like is you can actually taste the coffee, which I appreciate it isn't overly milky. They even topped it with a wafer cookie, which was a nice touch. The inside is very spacious, aesthetic, and has a great atmosphere to relax or get some work done. The customer service was welcoming, and I had a great experience from the moment I walked in. Another huge plus is that they open at 6:30 a.m., which is perfect since most coffee shops don't open until 7:00 or later. Another downside is the drink cost me $8.29 I didn't get any add ons or a milk substitute so that's really pricey compared to other coffee shops. I'll definitely be coming back to try one of their matchas because they looked absolutely delicious! read more

Cozy and not cluttered decor, great spot for work from cafe kind of day or even a quick coffee date with some girlfriends. They also offer stamp cards! Definitely will be returning. Sweet Maiz Einspanner -solid espresso, smooth and no tanginess at all. So solid that you can't really taste the flavored cold foam. Initial taste was great when you're sipping but mixing the cold foam in only made it really creamy. Corn flavor just wasn't enough. Monkey Banana Einspanner -also same deal, not enough banana. They would need to really enhance the flavor to shine through the espresso. Since I grabbed a few drinks, I drank this one at a much later time. After sitting for about 2-3 hours you can taste a bit more of the banana flavor but still wasn't quite enough. Maybe their lattes would be a better option to order! Coco Lychee Matcha Cloud -staff said it's not much matcha since the base is coconut water. After mixing in the cold foam with the base it was just right. Really really good, never thought to pair lychee with matcha. Would order again. read more

This coffee shop has easily become one of my weekend go-to's! I have never had to wait very long for my drink and it's consistently great. Drinks were tasty! Staff was kind. The atmosphere was flat. No vibe at all. It needed more. It needed a good playlist or an inviting setting to sit and stay a while in. We took our drinks to go and they were yummy! Definitely happy we found them while we were in the area. There is a shared parking lot with others in the strip center. Favorite Coffee Museum's entrance faces the intersection. It's difficult to find, at first, when you pull into the lot. Quality drinks and kind staff are key! I Happened to drive by this place and had to try it. I got the Cookie Butter Einspanner. It was the perfect strength and I loved the cookie butter taste. Nowadays most coffee spots are too sweet and you can barely taste the coffee. But this one was perfect. I will definitely be back! My only gripe was it was a bit expensive. It was 9.95 for what i think was a 16 oz. I'm not sure since it was only one size option. The price was increased because i subbed oatmilk and added cookie butter cream. But honestly it was so good I didn't mind paying. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops! The cookie butter latter I was scared at first since it looked like a lot of milk meeting either overly sweet or too milky but the espresso is strong! It made it such a good balance of sweet and strong. The banana matcha was delicious, the cream top does have an artificial banana taste like banana laffy taffy but personally i enjoyed it. Staff is always friendly and theirs a lot of space. read more

This review is for the biscoff Einspanner only. More like a 3 stars, but the place is new so there is time to improve. The coffee was way too creamy/milky for my liking. The biscoff cream was amazing tho. It tasted exactly like biscoff. If I do a blind taste test, I could straight out say biscoff flavor. I am happy that they well executed the cream. Now, they just need to make the coffee taste like coffee instead of super creamy milk. Coffee was weak since the cream/milk used was overpowering. Customer service was good. Favorite Coffee Museum is one of my go-to coffee shops. I appreciate that they are now open earlier, 7 a.m., which makes it perfect to stop by and pick up a drink on the way to work. There is seating on the inside with some tables that can be used to get some work done and they also have a wooden auditorium like seating area. They do not have a drive thru nor an online application at this time. However, it has not taken longer than ten minutes to order and receive a drink. Customer service is quick and friendly. They do have a stamp card reward system. Every ten purchases, you earn a $5 reward. Some of my go to drinks are: pistachio einspanner, double matcha latte, and the mascarpone vanilla einspanner. Overall, I enjoy stopping by and getting a drink. I would definitely recommend to stop by and give them a try. read more

Really enjoyed this little coffee spot in Whittier. I came here since I was in the area and saw online that they had einspanners. I ended up getting a Hazelnut Creamtop Cold Brew and a Hazelnut Einspanner. I loved the topping, and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. It was refreshing, and the flavors were really good. There was a small amount of seating, but it's a nice spot to chill for a while. I would definitely get coffee here again. read more

So happy to have found this spot. Two of my go-to coffee places near me closed down recently, so this gem is now my go-to. I've already been three times in less than two weeks. I've tried the Biscoff cookie einspanner, the strawberry latte, and the pistachio einspanner. On my most recent visit, my husband tried the pistachio one too, he said it was just okay, but that's fine... I'll happily keep going solo to try the rest of the menu lol. The vibe is cozy and very zen, and the drinks are creative without being too much. If you're in Whittier and need a solid coffee fix with fun flavors, this place is worth the try. read more

Favorite Coffee Museum is tucked away at the intersection of Beverly and Workman Mill Road, right across the Starbucks. Driving into the parking lot, I had to walk around the building to get into the coffee shop entrance but rest assured that there is plenty of parking in this shared plaza and that you are in the right place if you are following the GPS like I was. My hubby and I ordered the Hazelnut Einspanner and the Monkey Banana Latte. The cup in the middle is a regular cappucino. Their special drinks here are creamy and well-balanced. They have instructions on mixing the cream well before drinking. If you follow those instructions, then you will get to taste the coffee the way that it is intended. For me, it would be a 4/5. I am happy with the caffeine amount but mine did not taste like hazelnut. My hubby's drink definitely tasted like a banana latte though. I wonder if I can give this drink another try to see if I taste the hazelnut the second time around. I loved their cream puffs, one of the pastries on sale at the counter. The place itself is well-lit but at least when we came in, the tables felt awkwardly arranged. The arrangement of the tables were more on the uncomfortable side so I can't imagine staying here for too long, other than just catching up with a friend. I wouldn't come here to work or study but they do have plugs and wifi. On the corner, they have seating that reminds me of the interior of a sauna, which is nice for people to sit. If you do need table space, I would try going for one of their actual tables. read more

I definitely recommend this place! I've been once before and got the biscoff cookie einspanner. This time, at the recommendation of the staff, I ordered the monkey banana einspanner. My friends ordered the pistachio einspanner and a matcha einspanner. All the drinks were very delicious! The cold foams are flavored well and when mixed with the coffee, it is perfectly balanced. Their cold foams are a bit dangerous cause I could eat a whole cup of them. They're that good! The matcha is good too and the cold foam adds a good sweetness. There is a good amount of seating but they usually have a line and both times I've been, there was usually more people than seating available. But if you do find seating, it's a good spot. read more

I ordered the Biscoff Cookie Einspanner ($7.70). I need to wipe away literal tears of joy. This coffee is one of the best. It achieves decadence and utility; the drink tightly embraces you with enduring caffeine while also whisking you upon a whimsical journey of playful flavor. I felt awake and happy after sipping. I arrived at Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) on Tuesday (around 12:01PM). Parking is easy; the lot is big. However, the entrance / exterior for this business is confusing. Customers must walk on the sidewalk to find the entrance. Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) faces outward at the Beverly and Norwalk intersection. Staff is professional, focused, and diligent. Staff (receipt says Hyunjin) politely answered all my questions and moved purposefully. My drink took four minutes and five seconds. Good pace. As mentioned, I love the Biscoff Cookie Einspanner ($7.70). The drink is not watery nor diluted; the drink is not too sweet nor bitter. Rather, it cradles a robust coffee roast within a fluffy layered cream. Once mixed, the brew thickens, and a creamier & gentler flavor emerges. I broke into a playful grin as I bit into the fresh, crisp Biscoff cookie. "Snap!" Regarding ambiance, Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) is a wonderful study/work spot. There's customer internet and password; details are written on a tiny sticker stuck onto the counter's glass. There's also eight electrical outlets. I especially appreciated the delicate instrumental music that chimed along the speakers. The space also felt well-utilized. There's about five small tables, one counter, and several portable mini tables. The location is very clean and comfortable. There's also a customer restroom. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience at Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier). There's integrity, passion, and skill within these walls. If you love coffee, this is a must-try. Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) is now one of my favorite coffee destinations in all of California. I sipped happiness. 5 out of 5. "GO!!!!!!!" read more

If you are looking for a light iced latte, you might like this place. I ordered the iced Spanish latte. You gotta mix it or else you get a mouth full of milk. I tend to prefer iced lattes that are more coffee forward, so if that's how you also prefer them, ask for an extra shot. Seating is okay if you plan to hang out for a little bit, but I wouldn't recommend this as a place to get some work done. Chairs are not comfortable and the dining area gets tons of sunlight since all the windows face the intersection. I dunno, wear your sunblock I guess. Stopped by at approximately 3pm on a Monday - no wait to order. Ordered two hot lattes and two mint matcha lattes with almond milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. All drinks were ready in under 10 mins. Unfortunately, I didn't taste much of the mint in my latte, but the matcha flavor was very much present. Not too sweet, but definitely on the milkier side. Aesthetic-wise, this place is very hipster coffee lover coded -- lots of wood, cozy vibes, and definitely a spot meant for studying alone or sitting quietly with one friend. Very much a "people-at-their-own-tables" kind of café. I didn't really interact with the staff beyond ordering, which was fine. One thing I didn't love, though, is that the menu is only visible once you're at the counter -- there aren't menus posted around, so you kind of have to decide on the spot. Now for the drinks -- both were amazing. I ordered the Biscoff cookie einspänner, and it tasted magical. The coffee itself was strong, the Biscoff flavor actually came through, and the foam on top was Biscoff foam -- which I loved. My boyfriend got the hazelnut einspänner iced, and it was just as good. The cream on top was super flavorful, and he liked it so much it was gone before our 9-minute drive home was even over. We both got our drinks with oat milk, and it worked perfectly. Overall, great coffee, strong flavors, and a really nice space -- just wish the menu setup was a little more accessible. read more

Definitely recommend this place! My wife ordered the Biscoff Cookie Einspanner (iced), and I got the Monkey Banana Einspanner (iced). Both drinks were excellent. The cold foam on each drink was incredibly thick and creamy, which made them stand out from other coffee shops. The Monkey Banana Einspanner had a very noticeable banana flavor in the foam, and it paired really well with the coffee. If you drink it without mixing, you'll get a strong coffee kick, but once you stir the foam into the coffee, it balances everything out and creates a smooth, flavorful drink. My wife's Biscoff Cookie Einspanner was just as impressive. She mentioned that the entire drink tasted like Biscoff--not just the cold foam--which made it feel like a well-crafted specialty drink rather than just flavored topping on coffee. The café itself was spacious with plenty of seating and two restrooms. While we were there, a line started forming at the counter, but the layout handled the crowd well and never felt cramped. There was still plenty of room for customers waiting to order and those sitting down to enjoy their drinks. We didn't get a chance to try any of the pastries, but they looked delicious and definitely caught our attention for a future visit. Great drinks, comfortable atmosphere, and plenty of space. We'll definitely be back. read more

The coffee is tasty, and the establishment is comfortable, but the service is meh. I went in there on a Monday around 4:00 to check it out. I absolutely loved the cream tops for their drinks. I got the double matcha latte (whole milk, less sweet) and it was perfectly balanced for me with the cream top providing a rich creamy texture and flavor. I liked how their cream is not too heavy but balanced with a milky, sweet but balanced matcha color and flavor. I usually don't like drinking the cream top too much itself (I wait for it to make its way down to the matcha latte part) but this cream top was easy to sip on because it felt less heavy. Their matcha flavor itself was nice as well. I tried a friend's biscoff cream top which was amazing as well! Highly recommend for a cute aesthetic vibe and great drinks. Did not care much for the pistachio cream topped matcha but the almond cookies were a dream. They're light and not too sweet. Favorite Coffee Museum just became one of my go-to coffee spots. I ordered the double matcha latte and wowww--it was absolutely fantastic. The matcha had that perfect bitter-sweet depth (you can tell it's high quality), and the sweet foam on top balanced it out beautifully without overpowering the drink. Smooth, creamy, and so well crafted from first sip to last. Easily one of the best matcha lattes I've had in this city, and I don't say that lightly. Stopped by Favorite Coffee Museum around noon on a Monday and stayed until about 4:30 PM. The cashier/barista interaction was pretty neutral nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. She was simply doing her job. I asked about their top sellers and ended up ordering the Pistachio Einspanner. The presentation was nice and looked well put together. Taste wise, it was okay. I enjoyed how thick and rich the cream was, but felt like something was missing or off, which took away from the overall experience. Like I wasn't getting enough espresso flavor in there. The drink wasn't sweet which I like but the cream was too much for my liking. The interior is pleasant and comfortable enough, though it didn't really stand out compared to other specialty coffee shops. One feature I did like was the wall setup near the pickup area it adds a nice touch to the space. I wouldn't recommend this spot for studying or working for long periods. The chairs aren't particularly comfortable for extended seating, and the tables weren't very practical for notebooks or supplies. My pens kept slipping through the gaps, which became a bit annoying over time. Overall, it was a decent visit. Nothing was necessarily wrong, but there also wasn't anything that made me think, "Wow, I need to come back and tell everyone about this place."
