I had hopes for this place since it's so cute inside, and close to our neighborhood but for the price I paid it is not worth it. I got a dip manicure for $50 bucks and the salon saw I was not happy with the nails. I pointed it out to the male tech helping me and he kept repeating nothing is wrong I'm seeing things... he did not clean my cuticles, he did the lightest dip and when the owner said to do another coat he threw a fit. I have tried this nail salon a handful of times and after this last time I won't be back. I am used to gel manicures cracking/breaking shortly after they're done here or them cutting my nails too far back, or nicking my skin with the drill...this last time I decided to try a dip manicure as the techs told me "it's stronger, it won't break, it makes your nail thick." Well, lo and behold not even 10 minutes after leaving this salon my new dip manicure started to peel (pictured below). I have had dip manicures done at other salons and they last me for 3 weeks easy. The only reason I continued to try Coco Nails for so long is because of how close it is to my house, however, I am just going to make the drive elsewhere. Also of note, they do not let you tip through card anymore (only cash). They have an ATM on sight to withdraw bills but the service fees are ridiculous. Continually disappointed. read more

I've gone here off/on for a few years now and so glad I came back to them. My dip nails are just beautiful and not too thick. They have all new pedicure chairs and tables for getting your nails done. It took me a few days to fully process my experience. I was a walk in and chose the $68 pedicure experience. The first chair they sat me didn't have hot water. So they moved me. The water temperature was fine. There were several things I realized in hindsight, one was they didn't add any cleanser to the water. Next I had to ask him to not only trim my nails but also confirm my little toe nail also needed trimmed. At no time were my cuticles pushed back. One of the worst part was the 'massage'. A woman kept coming over and adding lotions. This happened at least SIX times. Leaving the guy to frantically massage it into my legs. (This is the gross part I realized too late), this woman presented a tube of some lotion, it was cut in half. He dug his bare fingers in it to spread on me. As once again this woman came up and squirted an oil on me. By this time I just wanted out! I felt the $68 was a ransom to escape this hell. If I knew how to report them to some health department I would. He kept wiping his hands on a towel and replacing it a drawer next to him. read more

I took my daughter, who is 8 years old, here this past weekend to get mani & pedi's for both of us. They charged me for an adult mani/pedi for my daughter who has the smallest nails & on top of that for regular polish! such a rip off! Plus, the lady who did a horrible mani for me, didn't even clip my cuticles & instead painted over them. Plus, did a lazy job with the arm massage and left lotion on my arm without rubbing it in, then proceeded to pull my sleeve down with the lotion not rubbed in. So uncomfortable and such sloppy work! $130 later and we will NEVER return here and advise you to take your daughter to another salon that charges the correct amount for a kids mani/pedi! So I am normally a bug fan of Coco but have had an okay experience today that left me a little frustrated. First I love that they remember me, even when I have taken a break from them for a while. However..... now that they use special "products" for their pedicures, I felt like the gentleman that I had was just trying to get me to get the more expensive pedicures that have a fancier name now. When I said that I wanted my manicure to be buffed and shined, I was told that it would be an extra 5 dollars. I do not mind the extra 5 but really you are doing less work than painting my nails. There was a few times when he was being really rough on me and I would correct him and let him know, which helped me not go crazy. My biggest problem was that, despite it showing that they accepted cards, I was told that it was cash only. Lucky me, I thought since there was an ATM machine, only to see that it was out of service and they had no idea that it was. I told the receptionist about 3 times and finally she told me to go to the one at the gas station (which of course charges a surcharge). Having a more prominent sign would help those of us planning on using our cards. read more

I do give credit that the employees are very nice (minus what I can't understand that they're saying in Vietnamese). They tried to be courteous about my frustrated situation. With that being said, I will never come back to this nail salon. I typically do my own nails at home but decided to take a break and let someone else do them...worst mistake ever. First, my toes were not fully polished. After my pedicure I had to ask the lady to repolish them because they were half done and they had no toe separators so I now have polish that's rubbed off my nails onto my skin. My hands were the worst disaster. I normally keep shorter nails, but I had to correct the lady as after filing the nail was not straight. When I asked her to fix it the nail had to be completely filed down so I lost any little bit that I had grown out. I had requested for a gel manicure and the polish has bumps everywhere and cotton even stuck underneath the polish. I have no clue why she even kept filing my nails after she polished, but because of doing that I now have strands of cotton and nail filings underneath the clear coat! read more

I have come to Coco nails a few times well yesterday will be my last. I treated both of my daughters to getting their nails done and myself a pedicure. My oldest daughter got a Acrylic nails just like my younger daughter. However the first tech that worked on my oldest daughter put the nails on picked up her purse and walked out. Then she told another girl to do my daughters polish and gave her the wrong color. Then who I believe is the owner was supposed to paint my daughters middle fingers and put a design on them and she told my daughter that she had to wait because she had an appointment come in so she will get finished later. The second gal painted the other nails so all the owner had to do was paint the middle fingers and do the design. Well she told me in front of everybody that she had an appointment and my daughter had to wait till later and I said well I am a paying customer and I want my daughters nails finished now I have somewhere to be. She said sorry she will have to wait. So I said fine then ring me up I'm leaving after giving me an attitude she finally ring me up but then had a fourth technician Finally finished my daughters nails. She would've never gotten away with this hadn't been for an adult she only tried to get away with it because it was for a kid. Everyone working here was very polite and smiley. It was a nice, quiet atmosphere (1:30pm on a Friday with 5 clients total.. so it might be different at a busier time like a Saturday). Terrible first experience here. It took them 2 hours to complete my gel manicure so didn't have time to get my toe nails painted. I paid for the service and when I got home I noticed bumps all over my nails! I went back the next day for a refund. They said they do not give refunds. Two hours of my time also wasted! Every time I ask to speak with the owner they say he isn't there! They will not provide contact information to speak to a manager or owner. A guy called me on Thursday from COCO Salon (as I had left a message a couple weeks before) to tell me that they were reopening after the Covid shutdown, the next day. I had never been there before, but had called looking for an open salon. I made an appointment for my daughter & myself for the next day (their reopening day). So, we show up for our appointment at 2, the guy checks our temp & tells us to pick our colors. I asked him if they can do art, as my daughter wanted a simple butterfly that she had a picture of on 2 nails. He said- art, oh yes, no problem! So we sit and wait- even tho we had an appointment. 30 minutes later, another lady & her daughter walk in and I hear her talking to the guy at the receptionist desk- she has a 3 appointment and, he tells her "oh you're early." She said yes, and she stands there for a minute or so and then they decide to take her back to get her started. So I said excuse me but our appointment was at 2 and we've been sitting here for a half an hour and now this lady walks in and has a 3 appointment and she gets served before us? They said oh she doesn't want art. I said well neither do I, but ok whatever. 3pm rolls around- I've been sitting in this place surrounded by certificates on the walls saying "Covid19 certified" & people smashed into this little waiting area, and a full salon. I have an appointment, but I've now waited over an hour just to get in a chair. The manager "Kim" comes over & says ok you come here, pointing my daughter to her chair. Then I asked her if she can do art, she said oh, no she want art, she wait for her, and she points to the nail tech next to her spot, who was working slowly on another client. She tells me to sit down at her station. So I sit down, and my daughter sits in a chair next to me and waits. Kim starts filing off my nail polish on my natural nails with her drill and is so busy talking shit in whatever language they speak, and not even looking at what she's doing, she's ripping into my skin & burns into my nail bed. I pulled away from her and said you're burning me, she just grabbed my hand, continues & says oh sorry. I was starting to boil a bit but I knew it was gonna be busy & packed everywhere & my daughter had really been looking forward to this, so I tried to maintain without flipping out on her. However, at this point, I'm highly irritated that I had an appointment, had to wait over an hour, have been treated poorly, the manager of this so called nail salon doesn't know how to do art & has now sufficiently ruined my nail bed which is still burning. About this time the other girl starts on my daughter's nails (the one person in the salon who can actually do nail art- supposedly). Manager "Kim" continued her incessant foreign rambling with the guy next to her at the receptionist booth, as she speeds through doing my nails and not paying attention. I could see how fat & rippled the acrylic was and I said- the acrylic is very rippled here, and she says "oh no that the tip under." I said "no it's the acrylic that is on top of the tip, the tip has nothing to do with it." The guy pipes in & says "oh this is your first time doing acrylics" (as if I was so new & ignorant to the way it's done that I wouldn't know that this was bullshit sub-par work). I said, "no I've been having this done for 20 years, is it your first time?" They both shut up for a second, then continued talking shit. I had to be picky about almost every nail to get her to file them down somewhat smooth. When she was done, I had to sit (again in the waiting area) waiting for my daughter & picking all of the acrylic and polish off my fingers. Her work is very sloppy & she's dangerous with that drill! Allow her to work on you at your own risk! It took the other girl 2 hours to do a full set on my daughter, all painted the same color & by the way, she couldn't do art at all- she used a decal on my daughters nails which she charged me an extra $5 for. Extra money for using a sticker- no actual talent, and it took 2 hours! So we got there at 2pm for our 2pm appointment, we waited for over an hour, was insulted, physically hurt, had shitty work done, had to pay $90 for said shitty work & lost over 3 hours of my day, as we didn't get out of there until after 5pm. This place is TERRIBLE- I will NEVER go back! read more

She removed my Acrylic & gave me a gel mani . Worst experience I've ever had . She cut me three times & was really rough I almost walked out , because it was that bad . I LOVE Coco Nails! I have gotten gel manicures, gel/polish pedicures, and acrylics there and have never had a bad experience. I always get the sweetest ladies there and they've all done my nails very well, especially Gloria, who is so kind and very precise on my gel nails. I can't remember who i had this time but they did a very nice gel acrylic (it was my first time getting them) and i love them! The pedicures are great and they have a nice sugar scrub they do on your legs. Make sure to ask for a SPA pedicure if you want the full treatment, or else they will do a polish change. I thought I'd give this place a try since it's so close to home. I just had a basic gel manicure and pedicure and it was so pricey!! The lady doing my pedicure didn't even massage my feet or legs. $40 for a basic pedicure is outrageous. I pay $0.50 more at Ooh La La nails for a great massage that also includes paraffin wax, a mint scrub, heel sanding and tell polish. The manicure I received was decent but nothing special for $28. This place felt like a total rip off and I would not recommend it to anyone. There was only one other customer in the salon the entire 1hour and 45 minutes that I was there. I guess they need to overcharge the customers they do get because it's so slow. I doubt the business will last very long with this subpar service and price gauging. They charge so much for the magnetic gel polish that's ridiculous 15 extra when the whole damn nail polish bottle they use is not even that much. Their selection of actual nail polish looks old and clumpy.Plus the actual gel colors they have not the ones that are 15 extra are so bland looking. We made an appointment for 10am, for 2 pedicures and 2 fills. We were taken back for our appointments around 10:15am. We were there for 2 hours and one of us got the full service the other person only got a fill. We were told they couldn't do a design or the 2nd pedicure until sometime this afternoon. They took walk ins and had them sit at the pedicures chairs. They told us they don't have time to complete our scheduled appointment because someone called in sick.... But they had time to take the two walk ins before completing our service with an appointment. Another person walked in with an appointment and was seated at a manicure table but was left sitting for 30 mins before walking out mad. No business sense here. She just apologized but wouldn't complete our services, very unprofessional. I'm a very generous tipper and was also planning to buy an additional gift card. I've been coming here for a year now and even though it's farther from me than other salons that are less than a mile from me, CoCo Nail Spa's service and quality keeps me coming back. The shop hours are great, it's clean, and everyone is welcoming. Some of the technicians are chatty and some are quieter but I don't mind either way because they all do such a great job. Only one visit (so far)... clean environment and friendly staff. Ann was very attentive to my cuticles which I need and appreciate and Cindy did my pedicure. The deluxe includes a hot stone massage and Paraffin Wax for your feet, scrub and callous removal. My concerns after leaving: my finger nails are exceptionally thin and flimsy (very weak and typically they are very strong) my thumb and one finger have bumps inside the polish due to neglect when painting something got onto my nails. There is a line on my middle left finger as well. My main concern is the over filing down/buffing of my nails. There was top coat left crusted on my thumb also that I had to scrub off.
