I decided to go try out Pearl Nails and spa because of it's proximity to where I work and the wonderful reviews online. I went in to get a deluxe gel pedicure with some cute valentines hearts. The building is very clean and well maintained. That super strong acetone smell that is usually present in nail salons was not really noticeable. I am guessing they have air purifiers running? The pedicure was great. I am used to pedicures that are rushed but I spent over an hour being pampered. The nail art is super adorable. This was an incredible experience. Not the best experience. Staff was not friendly, did not try to make conversation, and did not greet me. I requested the deluxe pedicure two separate times but was given a different pedicure. Clear coat was left on my toes and my nail beds were cut and left bloody. I also received a manicure which was rushed, and my nail beds were flooded. The nail tech also did not ask how I wanted my nails filed so they came out uneven. The nail tech seemingly rushed through my manicure so she could get back to doing her own nails. I am very unhappy with the service and do not recommend this nail spa. read more

I have had a good experience in the past, but my latest experience was not good. The woman who did my toes was very inexperienced and did not do a good job. I later heard her talking about actively being in school so I'm assuming she was unlicensed. The man who did my nails offered to help fix my toes once he saw them. He slightly fixed some, but I was still left with very unprofessional looking toes. I was charged full price and come to find out the nail guy tacked on an extra $10 for him fixing my toes. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT COME HERE!!! Initially, I had an appointment at 5:30 pm for a manicure and pedicure for myself and my 10 year old niece. We arrived on time, but we were not seen until 5:50 pm. They had first called my niece to start her manicure, but the female that started the service kept getting up and attending to other things, then proceeded to move her to a different chair. I had finally seen at 6:00 but it had taken too long for me to get a full service, so I had to settle for an acrylic removal on my big toes. The female that provided the service had green and purple hair with fake eyelashes and started removing the acrylics with the drill. She spent 30 minutes drilling my two big toes, then said "I can't get the acrylic off all the way, do you want to just leave it?" WHAT OTHER OPTION DID I HAVE??? She wanted to charge me $20 for that. I even told the manager about the experience, and she did not care. She ended up charging me $10 instead. When I got home, I took my socks off, and this lady drilled my nails so much, they are cracked and blended. LOOK AT THIS PICTURE!! MY NAILS ARE RUINED!!! I am in such pain and in disgust that people are even okay with providing such a crappy service. I am never one to complain. In fact, this is my first yelp review. DO NOT GO HERE Last weekend I went to Pearl Nails for a pedicure and manicure with my sister. I have been loyal to Pearl nails for several months, although my last visit resulted in a horrible nightmare. I was given a cushion to rest my arms on, and a few days later I developed an extremely painful, burning, itching rash on my arms... nothing else in my routine had change but I distinctly recall resting my forearms on this cushion. I have been to urgent care THREE times since and have gotten steroid shots and been prescribed antihistamines. I phoned the shop to let them know what happened and he was completely dismissive, rude, and unapologetic. I am beyond unhappy with the lack of remorse and more so upset that I have been dealing with this nightmare of a condition since. I strong urge you to NOT GO HERE! read more
