I've been to a couple other places recently close to my home and was super disappointed at the quality. I only do gel pedicure nothing fancy and no art so I didn't think it's be hard to find a good place. I came back to Paradise nails and Kim remembered me! Worst set ever. This is a picture at the salon while I was waiting polish was so sloppy. There is powder residue from acrylic on my polish the the nail feels bumpy. I'm sure these will fall off soon the glue is not even on right I can feel a gap under my nail. $40 not cheap but cheaper than other places. So yes it's true u get what u paid for. Let's see...where to start. My manicurist Kim, although very nice never onced washed her hands...not a single time between clients. Everything she used was not disinfected between clients either. She just used her tools and place them back into her magic drawer of infection. She used a metal bit on my natural toe nails which is a big NO NO according to the Governing Board. So in addition to the possible exposure to a nail fungus, I will also have a lasting reminder of Paradise Nails via my new nail divets that will take up to six months to fully grow out. Me and my friend needed a full set but I didn't make an appt which sometimes isn't a good idea but they started with us very quickly. They are quick but also take they're time making sure nails are even and a good thickness. The color I chose didn't seem to match the one that was put on my nails so I let the man know and he added something that made me more satisfied with the finished result. I go here quite often, the girl who does my nails is June. Even though she is not much of a talker, she is fast and does a great job. She is the only person I go to. I made the mistake of letting the guy ( I do not know his name, younger guy there) do my nails and he did a HORRIBLE job. He is really rude; he cut me really bad the one time I let him do my nails. He didn't even apologize for it. My finger was bleeding bad and he just gave me a blank stare. I was so disappointed!!!! It's only because of June that I go back. The Salon is OK. It seems clean... but it can be cleaner. The hot wax container looks disgusting and unsanitary. I would never get my eyebrows waxed there. read more

Have no complaints! Been going there for years and never had a complaint. I always make an appointment and let them know I'll be on my lunch hour. They usually have me in and out in half an hour. The prices are great ($25 fill with gel), the staff is friendly however don't expect too much small talk. They are there to provide you a service and do their job. My nails never lift. I go every three weeks for fills and that's just because I'm sick of the color. They're always packed for a reason. They probably could pay a little more attention when it comes to pedicures! This place is absolutely awful. If you are reading this and you are thinking about going here turn back now. The owner Helen is a really nice person and seems to do a good job. My friend was happy with her nails. I was not as fortunate. The woman would did my nails was rude and in a hurry and did a terrible job. My nails were jagged and rough. She cut me bad and I walked out. If you've ever seen the move "The Beach" with Leonardo Di Caprio, you'll remember the scene in the beginning where he's in Thailand at that really horrible hotel. The woman is cleaning the walks and floor with a dirty mop and sparks are flying from the exposed electrical wiring, well that's what the inside of Paradise Nails looks like.
