I have gone here a few times now and wanted to say what a great place this is! I like that you can book appointments online without having to call. The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. I always go to Amy for pedicures. She takes her time and is gentle, and does an amazing job! I like that they have liners for the bowls to keep it hygienic. I get a full set of acrylics and fills from Kim. She is quick and efficient. My nails are strong and don't budge. Feels good to be getting nails done again after many years. A new Starbucks went up in the same area as the nail place so you can sip on a drink during you appointment. They also do lashes here so I may give that a try next. read more

She was really nice to me and since this is my first time getting my lashes done, I didnt know whether to get classic or hybrid done. And with her expertise, she recommended me to get hybrid because it will look nicer and fuller on my lash. The lady who helped was nice, quick and efficient. . . Did a French pedicure $27 Acrylic nail removal $10. She didn't soak but just popped them off quick but a little uncomfortable. Upon arrival they have you sign waiver form (see photo) and take your temperature (due to Covid-19). It was around a 5 minute wait. A young lady Amy helped me, she was fantastic!!! Went here to get dipped nails with Wendy because my sister always go here and I want to say I am beyond please with how it turns out. It's not super bulky and it's actually thin. I am happy with my nails. $35 is what I pay for. I will definitely be returning. It can get busy on the weekend or some weeknights. I prefer calling ahead of time. I used to love this place for both my manicure and pedicure.. but now that they no longer do spa service for manicure its disappointing. I recently had my nails done and they recommended the new powdered nail thing that is called "not gel, not acrylics" thingy and I kept asking if its going to be thick and they kept saying no, its just like gel and only $7 more on top of the $15 manicure, turns out it was so thick and uncomfortable amd they charged me $35. I've been getting my acrylic nails done here for a year and a half now by John. I always call ahead and make an appointment so I don't have to wait. I'm a single working mom and don't have time for that. Yet every time I've made an appointment I still end up having to wait about 20 minutes which is very frustrating, but today I had to wait 45 minutes which is completely unacceptable. I expressed this to John and he argued relentlessly with me and would not apologize or back down. jHe told me if I didn't like it to just not make an appointment and come as a walk-in instead. Wow. John needs to realize the customer is always always right! That is the first rule of customer service. But his pride and ego were more important to him even though he was completely in the wrong. Absolutely ridiculous. That is the worst customer service I've ever received in my life and I will never go back. I will happily take my business and my 20% tipping to Aqua nails where they behave like professionals and are courteous to their customers. They're also cheaper for all their services. Another issue at Happiness nails is how much trash they talk on their customers in their native language thinking that we don't realize they're talking shit. Great place...it doesnt smell like a nail salon, friendly staff. They offer a variety of services that you can choose from. I personally like their Firewalker pedicure, specially after work and you just wanna chillax. My wife mentioned they also have facial service that u have to book an appointment in advance. I like how they do my nails depending on the person doing them spa pedicure is 22 and gel manicure is 25. One star off because I got paronychia which is an infection from the nail lady excessively pushing back the cuticles and the unclean utensils. But everyone is super nice here! read more

I attempted to give the technician some feedback as she was having great difficulty removing an ingrown toenail and it wax becoming exceedingly irritated by her repeated attempts. She became very offended and raised her voice. I do not pretend to know more than technicians that do this work every day; however, there was no reason for her behavior. Additionally, I asked for change for a $20 bill to leave a tip. She gave me two $10 bills, seemingly implying I would give her a $10 tip. I usually tip 20%, but I don't believe she earned it. I had to ask again for change for a $10 bill. I won't return to this salon again. read more

I don't think the guy comprehended when I was explaining to him what I wanted so he suggested a simple manicure. I got nail tips (short) acrylic build and gelish polish over that came to 25$ which I think isn't a bad price. The nail techs didn't converse much with me but it helped that they had the tv on. This used to be my go to place for my nails. I've had powder dipped nails done twice. The first time was great and they lasted more than 3 weeks. I got the powder dip again on 11/11/17 and the job was awful. They started chipping not even 24 hours later and have continued to do so. Kim, the nail tech, made a remark that hopefully these last till Thanksgiving. They should've lasted well past Thanksgiving since that would even be 2 weeks! I am SO disappointed and feel as though I wasted $35. As it was multiple nails had to be redone during my visit because she filed down the tips of my nails to where you could see bare spots on multiple nails. She said it happened because they are short, but my nails weren't THAT short and they were the same length the last time I had them done by her. Some of the nails ended up really thick and I'm wondering if that's partly why they are chipping so much. As others have mentioned, the powder dip nails does not include a manicure. I've always had a great experience with pedicures so I'd definitely suggest them for a pedicure but not the powder dips nails for sure. read more

I just recently came back to this shop for the convenience. It is the same tech's from like 8 years ago when I switched. I liked that I can walk-in and usually see someone right away. The all seem very capable to do pedicures, not sure they all do manicures. 12/8/17 Recent update- I upgraded stars- have been getting better service. Looking up. I am giving them a 3 star only for the poor customer service. I think because there is a bit of a language barrier, and some do speak English. Yet, their words can sound sharp and snappish. I hear how they speak to others coming into the shop and it irritates me. I feel bad for the older ladies, that cannot hear or understand their instructions. For me, I can deal with it, as I have had good results. My biggest issue, is that when I use one tech several times, there is a possessive quality to them and I then feel like I need to see that same tech when I am open to any tech. My buying issue is, I want quick and immediate, and I do not want to have to make an appointment. My schedule is hard to pin down future times that might be available for an hour mani or pedi. If they read this, I would suggest a board, written in English as to what some of the choices are and have the customer point. The do this for the pedicures and I think it helps. I want to come here, believe me I do! But I ran years ago for the same reasons, I am experiencing now. Also, they do take credit to pay, but you cannot tip with a credit card. This is my favorite place to get my mani-pedi. They always do a great job. I always opt for the luxury pedicure which is about $43. I usually do a regular manicure but since I discovered the powdered dipped stuff that's all I do now and my manicure lasts about 3 weeks. The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 star review is because you have to tip with cash. You can pay with card but you have to tip with cash so make sure you take some cash with you. read more

They make my daughters and I feel like close friends when they remember us. I have never had a bad experience here and I have been going regularly for 2 yrs. They are so nice and friendly here. The shop is somewhat "run" by a husband and wife and they are the cutest and most friendly couple ever! They will greet you and assist you quickly and even on busy days, you won't be waiting for very long at all. The shop is so clean and really roomy and well organized. Their prices are also decent. The eyebrow waxes are great, and relatively inexpensive. The area is Very clean and sanitized, which I can't say about every shop I've been to. They will get you in and outta there. I need to check out the Brazilian they do, considering the way everyone is ranting and raving about it. I also love the way everyone in there sticks to their craft, I.e some girls in there just stick to doing pedicures, some stick to waxing, some just for nails. So you won't have everyone in there trying to do your stuff if they know theyre not the best at it. Since my first time here about a year ago, I've referred a couple of people here who are also really happy with their services and are also referring others. Great being able to take us in quickly (we called, after another place was closed on a Tuesday Limited nail polish selection. NO light pink colors. ONE shimmery sheer light pink color. Had to get a bright pink color. Chipped terribly in ONE DAY! Rudest nail tech, AMY, prob in the top 2 ever.. And I've gotten my nails done a lot. Every time I'd ask her for something she would only reply with a SIGH that ruined my mood -- guess what, my friend was treating me for my birthday and this was not a pampering experience. I didn't expect this from a place called HAPPINESS nails. She was good at massages though, she didn't skimp on them like some. *Tip* Don't ask your customers for their name, might as well ask for yours back. . Do NOT ask when you did such a mediocre job! The best part about this place was the massage chairs probably. They were good.. Had a extra hard setting that some don't! But normal as decent massage chairs go. 2 stars total for my 1 day manicure experience. Friend and I are sad that her birthday present lasted such a short time. read more

I am sad to write this review. I have been a customer of Happiness Nails and Spa for a little over a year. For the most part I have been happy. Lately, after having my nails done the last 2-3 times, I noticed my cuticles seemed to peel more, and the polish didn't last as well. I am a regular manicure person, no gels or acrylics. Usually my manicure will last about a week and a half, and I'm okay with that. However, I felt they always pushed gel nails. I don't like the process of taking them off, by peeling and also the roughing up of my perfectly nice nails to make the gel stick. At any rate, we would have this discussion, and I maintained my routine. The last straw came when I recommend my daughter visit the shop to care for her nails. Her nails were her own on 7, and 3 acrylic, all approximately a quarter to a third of an inch past her tips. My daughter cares for her nails very well, and is very particular about their care. As her manicure began, my daughter instructed the nail tech to soak off her gels, to prevent any damage from prying them off. The nail tech began to argue with her stating all her nails were acrylic, and needed to be pried off. My daughter showed the tech which were gels and which were acrylic. At either rate, she wanted them all soaked off. The tech continue to argue with her, at one point stating "I do nails, and these are acrylic" and commenced to pry them off. In the process her nails begin to break, and the tech then says, "oh these are gels". By this point, the damage has been done. Unfortunately, her nails had to be cut down to barely past her tips. She had also instructed the tech she didn't want her nails filed, but lightly buffed with the sponge buffer for smoothness. Even with gel reapplied to her nails, they were paper thin due to all the prying. The service and experience my daughter had is abhorrent! I have never seen the likes of service like this. This is the lack of customer service 101. Never an apology, or admission that they were wrong. They also didn't have the decency to offer her a discount for the poor service, and damage to her nails. She will spend months trying to get them healthy again. At the very least, she should have received a discount and an apology. If after reading this you still want to visit them, wait for the darker completion tech. She is the only one that is patient, listens, doesn't argue with you, doesn't make you feel rushed, and does a good job. I wish I would have told my daughter to wait for her. Never again, moving on.
