I called to see if there was room for a gel manicure and pedicure and they said "how soon can you be here", I said 10 mins. When I arrived on time the man was disengaged, would not talk and seemed irritated. A female worker took over for him and he left. For the pedicure no one rubbed my feet or put any lotion on them. For the manicure with gel it was quick and a little lotion on the top of my hands at the end. Another customer that came in before me was still at the pedicure station when I left getting massages and service. I wonder if it's because I did not do acrylic, so was not seen as a valuable customer? It was still $80 for gel mani and pedi, I will not be back. Really nice people I liked how there was 6 feet between everyone. Also there appointment schedule is nice only 2 to 3 people at a time in a hour. Makes you feel really comfortable since there's not a lot of people at the same time. Really did a good job on my nails. read more

Very disappointed. Overpriced. Lack of service I walked in this morning at 11:30 am for a gel mani/pedi. The owner asked if I could come back in 1 hour. He picked up his appointment and placed my name in the 12:30 slot. I arrived at 12:30 and proceeded to wait for 20 min. It was finally my turn. He began in my gel mani. Trimmed and shaped my nails the way I wanted. He asked for me to go wash my hands and when I returned he told me to have my nails painted by another person as he was walking out the door. The lady applied the color and that was it. There was no lotion on my hands, mini massage, etc. Once she finished, she moved in to someone else and I sat there. Finally the man returned and told me to sit in the chair for my gel pedi. My feet were only in the water for 2 min. He removed the previous color and trimmed my nails, which he did nicely. He scrubbed the bottom of my feet for less than 15 seconds on each foot. Applied the paint, then applied an orange colored scrub, rubbed the scrub for 15 seconds (yes, I timed it), raised and done. Man stated "Ok, all done. Looks great. That will be $55." Seriously?!? You applied paint thats it!! I paid, didn't tip and left to never return again. read more

Great service very detail oriented so with that they do take their time doing pedis and manis. They only have two employees so the wait is a little long when they are busy. I suggest coming early or during the week when they aren't as busy as they typically are on the weekends. read more

I like this place. Kirk and Kathy are a married couple and are so friendly and personal with their customers. They are also affordable. The only problem is that I find they don't take a lot of time to clean up at the end. After I got home from my appointment, I noticed a little polish on the skin, some breakage in the nail bed that wasn't there before, and also some weird white stuff on my index finger... totally random. I'll probably go back because I'm not picky, but this place might not be for someone looking for perfection. You may have to pay a little more for that. read more

I've been here 3 times now to get my nails done by Kirk. Their prices are reasonable. I've had white tips w/ clear acrylic done for $25. If you get the gel coat, it's $5 more, but totally worth it. Looks like freshly applied top coat for 3 weeks. That's right, I can go 3 weeks between fills. Haven't had any trouble w/ lifting. read more

Did not use base coat on my pedicure. When I asked about the nail polish staining my nails, stated it will not. Really? Rushed on my feet. Definitely will not be back. Why pay for a rush job, which I could have done myself. Gel manicure was ok and only reason I did not give 1 star. read more

Inexpensive and quick. Gel nails chipped after three days and the chemical used on my feet cracked my skin and made them painful.

My mom and I went for a mani/pedi Friday morning and there were two people working at that time. We asked how long the wait would be and the man said a few minutes. Yet it took them 30 minutes to seat one of us first. They took 2 hours to complete both of our sets. Horrible. New customers kept coming in and they kept doing their nails before ours. Will never go back there again. They need some type of structure. read more

I went to Leslie's Nail salon for a pedicure. There was one lady having a pedicure and no one waiting. When I asked to have a pedicure I was told I could not have one as they were to busy. I said your sign says walk-ends welcome. As a woman of color, I felt so discriminated against, there was no offer of waiting, making an appointment, etc. This Asian owned business will never get my business and judging by the reviews luck was on my side. The white lady getting the pedicure seemed well pleased that I wasn't being served. Maybe they only serve white people. Just saying. read more

New to Fresno. It took me a while but, I finally found a nail salon that I feel does a great job maintaining my "paws & claws" according to MY expectations and & beyond. and, at a reasonable price!!! Nancy's Nails is a small salon run by a sweet husband and wife team, Kirk & Cathy. They take walk-ins whenever possible, but, it's best if you make an appointment, as a small crew they do get busy.. I am a swimmer‍ , being in the water for long periods makes my nails flexible & weak, one week after Cathy "jellied my claws" due to a swim, two nails tore (one split right in the middle). I saw Cathy, was depressed expected to have the nails cut off. Cathy says, "Don't cut it, I can fix it" and that she did I was very impressed with her knowledge & skill, no one had ever done that!! Two weeks later, (swimming) the torn nail are still holding up. I had a pedicure as well, (with cute little daisies painted on the big toes). Cathy is my favorite because she does a great job removing dead skin & cutting the cuticles nicely. I haven't had Kirk work on my nails yet, but I'm sure he's just as good. Thrilled with my "paws & claws" I asked to pay and to my surprise Cathy only charged me for the pedicure. I was happy to pay less than other salons for a pedicures . So I never leave bad reviews but I have to for this one. When I first walked in, I wasn't greeted. I was just asked "how can I help you?" I said I wanted a pedicure. Waited 5 minutes and the man started a spa chair for me. No soaps or salts in the water. The water had a film on it as it sat still once the facet was turned off. The film looked like remnants of a previous pedicure. Next, the couple had their child there who they kept telling to go "sit outside." The child was sitting on an office chair outside their business. As for the pedicure process, the woman dug the tool so far down the left side of my nail, the bottom left corner of my big toe has been sore for 3 days. Before she polished my toes, she used a scrubber on my toenails. Afterwards she used that SAME NAIL SCRUBBER to clean the other spa chair bowl........ so she used the same scrubber to clean my toes as she did other spa bowls after they've been used. GROSS. Next, I came in with closed toe shoes, no worries right? I'll get pedicure sandals. Nope, she ran out. Sooooo I walked outside barefoot. Don't worry, she charged me full price too. That must be how they afford their nice Mercedes. They cut corners, are unsanitary and don't provide basic nail salon essentials. Never going back again. Only upside is their cheap prices. You really do get what you pay for. Also, their massage is measly. You get about 10 seconds. read more

Horrible! Do not recommend to anyone! I got my nails done yesterday by Kirk..took him only 15min for a fill, my shape is horrible he cut half the acrylic off n then added fresh acrylic that was uneven to the acrylic he had left on! The polish coverage is really streaky! I am so not happy with this job! I will defiantly never return and I will warn all my family and friends of this horrible experience! Oh, and he had the nerve to sit there and criticize the nail job I had done previously, he said it looked like I did it myself at home, um no the job Kirk did im sure my 5 y/o could've done it better! read more

I was really dissapointed on how my services were rushed and what a horrible job Kirk Le did. First off no base coat was used on my pedi and he barely touched my feet. My mani was horribly rushed no nail cleaning, had to ask for nail trimmimg, he literally took the polish off and painted my nails. I asked for a mani not a change of color. He also forgot that I wanted glitter on one of my nails. He even put the wrong glitter color when I reminded him that he forgot. I hate hate to say this but I watched him work on a white lady before me and she was getting really good work done. I was excited that I was next. My feet were all dry after he was done and my hands literally all I got was a change of color. Sucks because this place is down the street from where I live and I always tip. Do not recommend at all. I think he knew it was bad only charged me 40 dollars. read more

I was disappointed with the service at this salon. I called to see if they had openings and they said yes they did. When I showed up, there was one person working and three people waiting to be helped. After 20 minutes the woman had me sit at a station and all of a sudden, a man who I presume is her husband, showed up at the salon and put down the things he'd just gotten from the store and sat at my station and began. He seemed so rushed, like he just wanted me in and out of there. After doing my nails, he had me sit in the waiting area while he started a new set on someone else. Ten minutes later, he put my gel coat on and put my hands under the UV light for a period of time that was clearly not long enough because I left with my nails feeling sort of... sticky. Their services are inexpensive but not of quality. I would not recommend them or return. read more

I was given a gift certificate as a wedding shower gift for my big day. The person who gave it to me said she bought it there because it was near my house and she looked around at other customers and their nails seemed okay. I went in the day before my wedding for a set of acrylics and a pedicure. Pedicure was just okay. Nothing special. Lady was pleasant but I don't know how much of my English she understood, She left calluses alone which was something I had hoped to get help with. She hardly touched them, but did a nice cuticle and paint job. My biggest problem was my nails and the management. I had my nails done & they came out so thick & messy looking. Acrylic in places there should not have been and so thick! I wasn't happy, forgot my glasses so double checked when I got home. I called back as soon as I got home. They said no time for me that day but I could come back the next day to fix. Explained I was getting married the next day so they asked me to come in at 7:30am. I was there early with bells on. A very nice man, 100 times better than the first lady got to work on them and was doing a pretty good job. He looked over each nail and shook his head. He kept apologizing as he worked and discovered more wrong. About 1/2 way through the clean up the manager came in and started reprimanding the man working on my nails for something in another language. His reply was in English and he said, "but she's getting married today, and look....." The manager just said something in his language and part in English. The part I understood was "Gift Certificate" as he tossed down my gift certificate on the counter with a bit of distain. I was kind of shocked. Did he think I didn't understand that. It was clear in any language, he wanted this man to be done as immediately as possible. He did not care about me, because I was only a gift certificate. On my wedding day!!! No more compassion than that to fix a job that someone there screwed up!!!! I wouldn't have been there that morning if they hadn't screwed it up the day before. Believe me I had better things to do that morning. The man helping me seemed distraught but hurried through none the less. I remember having to tell the photographer to try not to get my nails in the picture because the poor job on my French tips was so obvious. I have what would have been a beautiful pose of our hands and rings, but I hate it because all I can do is see all the flaws in my nails and remember the poor service I received and the rude management. I still have more left on my gift certificate but I will never ever go there again. Hope you don't either. A million places out there better than this one. read more
