The owner of DN nails did my pedicure on Mother's day. She was very rude. She nick my baby toe with the electric nail file, so I jumped and she shook her finger at me saying no no. Then she nicked my other baby toe on the other foot and she shook her finger at me again saying no no. I said if you hurt me I have a right to say something. She just ignored me. She even used a dirty tool. Then my pedicure was pretty much done. She blow through it so quickly. It took her 17 minutes to do the whole thing with massage, scub, hot towel and painting my nails. I made her mad for saying something about her nicking me. Then she sat there talking shit about me to employees. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Just awful person. Mary did my pedicure and I was very pleased with the results!!! Toes turned out really good, color is even, toes are manicured/cut evenly. Prices are good for the quality of work. I was visiting Fresno area and was in dire need of a manipedi appointment. I found this place, there was two women there upon my arrival who were very welcoming. My manicure and pedicure came out great and at a decent price. (I called everywhere and they seemed to be the cheapest for gel manicures and pedicures). The only issue I had was the fact that as I was getting my toes done the lady upfront asked if I could pay BEFORE my toes were even finished. I told her I didn't have my card, but only Apple Pay so she made the lady doing my nails unplug the water and made me go out to my car with WET feet just so I could go get my card. This caused the lady doing my toes to not do as well on them because I had paid before they were finished. I went in for a pedicure French tip and got convinced to go for the gel instead which was not bad. She charged me $32 instead of the reg. $38 & I was happy with that. I think by far this was the longest pedicure I ever had, it literally lasted an hr. given the fact I was probably the only customer at the time. The whole experience was just "ok" it could have been better, but for the price it's not that bad either. I came here on 7/23/17 with my sister in the evening. I called this place to make sure they are open since a lot of nail places close early on Sundays. The owner answer and said they stay open until 8:30pm. So my sister and I head over and this place is cutely tucked away in a plaza that can easily be missed. It is right next to Ross and Alorica. We found parking easily even though there's remodeling going on with a lot of the parking spaces. We enter and the owner greets us. We were seated promptly even though she was short staffed. I prefer gel nails due to acrylic damaging my real nails. I always say that I am going to try new colors but the reds are my favorite. She did such an amazing job on my nails and I am very picky! I am so glad I found this place...the music is lovely, the colors are beautiful and it was such a lovely place to come and relax and be pampered! For my nails and my sisters it was only $59 dollars! Also, for some reason I was terribly hungry throughout the whole process and noticed that they have complimentary snacks such as Rice Krispy treats, Cuties and other yummy treats you can munch on! She was: a) rough (cut me, then doused my hand in alcohol) b) sloppy c) taking creative liberties that weren't good. When I wasn't looking, she did one gold nail on my hand. I didn't have time left in the day to have her redo them, and the reason I'm getting these nails is for a dance. No time or money to go elsewhere to get them fixed. There is 0 gold in the outfit. This place is tucked away in the Shaw and Villa shopping center. I think that's why it's not too busy. I walked in yesterday after work for a simple fill. I immediately see there were 3 customers sitting having spa pedi's and one sitting waiting for her turn and a total of 3 workers. When I walk in I'm greeted by an older female approx late 40's early 50's. She asked me what I wanted done and I tell her I just need a fill. She then tells me to sit down, which I did. Three minutes or so later that same woman comes to me and said that her customer that was having a pedi done just told her that she also wants a full set on her nails too. My reply was "ok". I just assumed that I would have to wait a while before being serviced and I was ok with that because I was a walk in customer. The older woman then said "so I'm sorry we can't help you today". I then said "Ok so are you saying that I need to leave?" She said "yes please" I was so shocked and embarrassed. She didn't offer me a wait time of an hour or so she just told me no I need to leave....in front of everyone! So I just said "Ok, no problem I can leave". I said by to Bacon the dog and exited. The other girl that was waiting also got up and left. She stated to me outside the salon that if they're telling you to leave than that must mean they want me to leave also. She left and so did I. I ended up getting my nails done at Beautiful Nails on Kings Canyon. I've only been to this salon once before and had a great experience there which is why I came back. They do great work but my review today is solely based on their communication and customer service. They lost 2 customers that day. read more
