    New location for a chain that's been around a while. I think we have four locations in town now. I have liked Korean fried chicken since Bonchon was here, years ago. There are several locations, all pretty good. Each location of CM seems to be a little bit different. Or possibly, things have changed over time and I haven't been back to each of them. But one location was counter service, another location was full service but just food, this location is full service and has a bar. And the menu seems a little different, a little bigger. I had a pretty good idea what I wanted, but then saw lots of new things and was almost overwhelmed. I ended up with garlic soy tikkudak drumsticks, and seaweed chapchae rolls. The chicken is twice cooked, meaty, tender, soaked through with flavor, wrapped in a thick crispy flavorful crust. Very good. Used to come with pickled radishes, but I think that is an optional add-on now. They are nice to offset the flavor if you get spicy. I skipped spicy this time, but would've appreciated the radishes. The chapchae rolls were very good. Basically noodles inside seaweed, then deep fried. Comes with a nice, fairly mild dipping sauce. Service was friendly, but slow. I think maybe because they just opened, and I did come at the end of the lunch rush. But it wasn't like they were overwhelmed; they were a little disorganized I think. Prices are a little high, but you get a lot of very good food. The inside is kind of cool, and there are big windows to watch the street. I will definitely be back, to any of their locations.

We've had the brisket, the pork belly, the calamari (both spicy and not) and it was all so fresh and yummy. The denver steak was a hit and even the marinated shrimp are an amazing option! Thank you for bringing me back home when I'd sit on the floor at my mother's third oldest brother's house... mom had eight brothers and sisters and the oldest was as old as her father could be... almost 20-30 years older, actually...she was pretty lonely with no close-in-age sibling around... But it brings me back. 해물 순두부찌개 (Spicy soft tofu stew with seafood Haemul sundubu-jjigae)...it has the dashi-approach around the fringe of its flavor profile... dimensions! This week was the week I was supposed to get married but my ex Fiance backed out of the whole proposition all together... before you ask. Yes. "Marriage" was actually his idea... me? Well. The Korean food is measured by "Ban-chan," the side dishes that come with the main menus. To prepare such side dishes is not easy. But, to prepare with original tastes only found in side streets of Korea, it takes years of cooking skills and holistic use of fresh varieties of vegetables with traditional touch of flavors. So, to find the restaurant Silla, tucked in the alley of shopping center near Marc's by Henderson and Reed road, does brings nostalgia as you walk toward the entrance. The service is important part of our culture. The lady who serves is so kind with a genuine smile. Even when she is serving so many customers, she manages to bring smile to those who she serves. Her kindness rubs off onto her customers - at first I was not used to her being so kind - but she has a way for opening up her sincerity. My wife and I am now a regular customer at Silla. Sometimes my food may come out late, but I come to enjoy the energy and vibe by many young college students, and savor the food as it is prepared the way it should be.
