Wow this place is delicious!! Everything we tried was so good. I'd recommend the Nashville hot, havarti hen, corn fritters, and curly fries. I actually think their Nashville hot is better than the hot chicken I've had in Nashville! The chicken is moist, juicy and flavorful. The bun is not soggy but toasted just right. And the fries are the perfect level of crispy. Oh and their dipping sauces go very well with their fries. Overall, we had a great first experience and plan to go back very soon! Nashville Chicken sandwich is very crunchy and lots of meat. The bread is warm and soft and the cole slaw inside the sandwich is good.

I had the Nashville hot sandwich med heat, Amazing!! The outside is crispy and the inside is moist. The Mac and cheese is awesome! Had the potato salad and it is good, though given a choice on side I would def pic the Mac and cheese. My husband prefers Gus's so I think it's a personal preference. WOW this place is absolutely delicious. I love spicy chicken sandwiches and this one tops my list. I got the Nashville Hot with "Hot" heat level (there are 5 and "hot" is right in the middle) and it was the PERFECT amount of spice. I really like spicy tho, so it may be too hot if you're not a big "spicey" person. We also got the fries and a side of Mama's Mac. The fries were good, but the Mac was INCREDIBLE. We also got a couple of their homemade sauces (ranch & cluck sauce) and both really good. Safe to say we'll be back here again! Oh, and if you're skeptical about the price at all - don't be. This place has some of the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. I had most of their menu and I can say that it is all good. The classic cluck is a good flavorful chicken sandwich. The tenders are very good. I've done their extra hot and it had some good heat. The sides are good. Prices are a bit on the higher side but you pay for quality so I'm good with it. Howlin' Rays is the standard by which every other hot chicken shop is judged in my opinion. I've trued no less than 10 of these shops in the past couple years and while a few have been pretty good, they haven't come close to measuring up to Ray's. The first time I bit into my Hot Chicken sandwich from Cluck Kitchen I was immediately excited. This is as close to Howlin' Rays as it gets and in many regards is just as good. The only thing I don't like is that it costs me $17 to get a sandwich and a box of curly fries. Don't get me wrong, the amount of fries they give you for $4 is more than enough, but $17 for lunch makes this at most a once a month indulgence. I really wish they would offer a half sandwich or sliders for a lesser price. None the less... magnificent! read more

This place is amazing! I've now tried each of their sandwiches, and each I would highly recommend. You can taste the quality of the chicken and it makes a huge difference. Not oily at all. The Hot Chicken is HOT, don't be fooled. I got the mild and it had a huge kick. I don't think I'd be able to survive any of the higher levels. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Whoa that was good. The Nashville sandwich + fried pickles (devoured it before I could get a pic). I got the medium heat and it was just the right amount of kick to the sandwich. The slaw and sauce on it was the perfect balance. THANK THE LAWDDD for pickle chip fried pickles (not a fan of spears). It was super busy for day 1 but the staff was nice and seemed to be doing their best. I will definitely be here weekly (around 3:00 after the lunch rush)!!! read more

Let me preface this review by saying, I've had Howlin' Ray's hottest Sando. I've also done many spice challenges and reviewed them. By far, the GET CLUCKED Nashville sandwich here is THE CLOSEST spice level to Howlin'! Finally found a place without waiting 3hours in line. I came in around 630pm and didn't wait long. It was crowded but things were moving smoothly and the kitchen was cranking out orders fast. Cashier was nice, he sanitized the Square keypad after every customer use. I got my order within 15 minutes. The Nashville sandwich in GET CLUCKED and lemme tell you, they butter the inside of your bun with that hot chicken oil giving you extra spice and flavor. See photo. Devil red and It's delish. The slaw was nice and crunchy giving the sandwich texture. I got sides of COMEBACK sauce Which is similar to a spicy tarter sauce. Also, CLUCK SAUCE which is like a mild honey mustard with apple cider vinegar. I also ordered 3 wings EXTRA HOT with ranch. Their sauces are house made and their ranch, tasted exactly like the Hidden Valley seasoning ranch packets.. not mad cause it was real good! The Portion was generous as their wings are huge. For both chicken quality reviews by itself, I'd say 5/5. The batter was nice, not too thick, extra crispy and didn't fall off the skin. It survived the 20 minute ride home in a closed box and bag. Expos packed extra napkins, wetnaps and untensils without even asking. Great job CLUCK! Very happy with my first experience. read more

My wife and I have been big supporters of The Cut since they were just a food truck! Once we heard they were opening up a brick and mortar, we couldn't wait to go and eat. The staff has always been top notch and they go out of their way to make you feel appreciated. Steve always stops whatever he's in the middle of and says hi and catches up with my wife and I, that goes a long way for us. Once we heard they were opening up Cluck Kitchen we knew we had to try it and boy did it not disappoint. BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH IN THE OC.....hands down! Corn fritters are also a game changer! If I was a rapper, I would be eating this food in my music video. They opened about a month ago and I've already been there half a dozen times. So far I've had the tenders and the Nashville hot sandwich. I always get the 2 out of 5 stars of heat, which is the perfect amount for me. The chicken itself is high quality--Antibiotic Free Chicken. It has always tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. I prefer it with the in-house honey mustard sauce. It is easily my favorite chicken in Orange County. Next, I gotta tell you about the sides. Their Mac and cheese is flawless. It's baked and covered in the perfect amount of cheese--great flavor. It's actually my favorite Mac and cheese in OC as well. To keep it real, i would come here just for the Mac and cheese if that's what I was craving. They also have "corn fritters" which I had never even heard of. It's basically fried corn that satisfies all the snack cravings. Their fries are gas too, and I usually don't like curly fries. I introduced this spot to all my friends and they love it too. I can't remember the last time I've been so excited about such a simple food place. Their menu is so simple but everything is done to perfection.
