Quick. Tasty. Quality. That's been my experience with Claim 52. My first visit was just for beers a while back. I got a Thicc Bananas Foster beer. I couldn't believe how delicious it was! It was just like a caramelized banana smoothie (but beer). My second visit included drinks and dinner with a friend. She got a burger, and I got the hummus plate. The portions were large, and the food was delicious. The crackers on the hummus plate were the perfect level of salty to go with the savory hummus. The carrots and cucumber were very fresh and bright, and the fritters were hot and crispy. No complaints from me! My friend enjoyed her burger; the side salad was nothing to write home about. I wanted to try another beer from the Thicc series, so I got a Maple Berry Crisp. Holy cow, it was good! First, there were flecks of berry skin floating in it, which is a good sign to me that it's actually got some berries in it! Second, it was so fragrant! I thought it smelled like a Yankee Candle (in the best way possible). But it certainly didn't taste like a candle! The beer was like a smoothie--in fact, it was better than some breakfast smoothies I've made. I would definitely order it again! We ended up here kind of as a last resort on a Friday night for dinner after trying to eat at a few other restaurants that were too busy. I was pleasantly surprised with the food! We got one of their giant burgers, the birria nachos, wings, pretzel and cocktails. All which were incredible. I would definitely stop back in here. I love these thick fruit beers that are great as they are and can be diluted with any Pilsner to make the most delicious "cocktails". It may look like kitsch from the outside but definitely authentic on the inside. The Cowboy burger with house made BBQ sauce was mouth watering. I tried the chicken bean tortilla soup and was sad I didn't order it. My sister had the beef tacos and enjoyed every bite. This was our first time here. It will be our only time. First off, the place was nearly empty. We got seated right away, which was great. We were meeting people there, and had time to look at the menu and ask questions. We had looked at the menu online, but it was NOT the same, so don't trust what's online. They were out of soup. First strike. Second strike was the place was SO COLD none of us could take our coats off. We ordered appetizers and a couple of drinks and said we'd order dinner when our friends got there. We had to flag someone down to place the order, and our friend had to go to the bar to get a drink at all. Third and fourth strikes. Food comes and it's just meh. There are several vegan options but they were overcooked and super dry. They had absolutely zero desserts to offer. Service was slow but nice. I met up with my guy, and some friends here not long ago. They were all having drinks, but I had just got off the road, and had a long day. I needed some food. The only thing that sounded great was the salad, with steak. When it came out, oh em gee!! That steak though! It is hard for me to melt over a steak. This was phenomenal! Melt in your mouth, full of flavor goodness! I wish you could order that all by it's lonesome, or have a dinner salad with the steak. What ever they are doing for the flavor in the meat it is wonderful, and so tender. I hear they have great tacos. I would try them some time. Might be hard to steer me away from the steak salad now. Service was nothing to write home about, but then again, I think they were close to closing. I can't comment much on the drinks, I only had a sprite. Updated 2/05/2020 Came in for lunch with my guy, we both had the lunch special which was the peanut butter pickle burger with bacon. He had fries on the side, while I had a Caesar salad. I have to tell you I am glad I tried the burger. It is one of the best I have had. The peanut butter has a hint of honey flavor, and I'm not sure what else, but it's not just a slab of peanut butter on it. The pickles remind me of an Asian sweet, and spicy cucumber salad, or a spicy bread, and butter pickle but better. They are made in house. The aoli sauce that comes wIth the fries was really yummy. My guys was still hungry, and knew it was going to be a long time before dinner so he ordered the steak skewers to top off lunch. I didn't try it today, but if they are the same that come on the salad. I know I love them. Will be back for sure. Only had root beer with our meal today. Food was delicious Unfortunately, the female server with the Eastern European accent was terrible. She failed to tell us about the two specials (which the male server shared with the table next to us after we had ordered,) failed to ever bring the extra plate we asked for, and failed to bring silverware for the table. Food was ok. A lot better than just plain old nachos, the quinoa- tofu- or whatever it was, wasn't what I expected but still decent. Guacamole was pretty good, as well as the chips. Here's the problem..(s)/ problems; 1. This was supposed to be a vegan gluten-free meal. I didn't finish all of my order, so I got a to-go box and finished it the next day. I took a bite and noticed something different. There was a piece of pork or chicken in the nachos. (As pictured.) 2. i'm allergic to wheat... the waiter didn't seem very knowledgeable of the contents of the menu items, so when we asked questions, they said they would find out, but forgot a couple times. I used to work as a waitress, so i understand that experience kinda raises the expectations? When I ordered my food I said I couldn't have the chips so I asked if I could get lettuce instead: the waiter asked if shredded iceberg was ok and I said that was fine. It took a long time to get food and they weren't really that busy from the way it seemed, but when it finally did come out, they brought chips instead of lettuce. The waiter brought another waiter along with him to explain that the chips are gluten free. It was already so awkward with the lack of water refill, the ordering, and the whole feel of the atmosphere that I just said it was fine and sure whatever nicely. I tried not to be picky, since we were there for my partner's sister's birthday. 3. They're really aren't that many item choices, especially on the gluten-free and vegan menu. Although, I DO appreciate that they have a gluten-free and vegan menu, BUT I do want to offer CAUTION to those who have celiac or a gluten intolerance that their gluten-free items-such as french fries or fried things are NOT gluten-free because they are put in a deep fryer with gluten items. So they really shouldn't call their stuff gluten-free when it's NOT. So, if you don't have any dietary restrictions, it might be an OK place to eat, and if you like stuff from the tap, which they have a lot of options, it seems. We had a few in the party who liked the "mock- tails". We also were entertained by the bums scoping out the garbage cans across the street. Hope that helps. Here to say the food and service was phenomenal 10/10 will eat here again. I got the Monte Cristo special sandwich witch Caesar Salad, my fiancé got the Cuban sandwich with fries, and we shared an order of the crispy cauliflower with garlic aioli, chipotle aioli and ranch for dipping. Everything from the salad dressing to the meat on the sandwiches was fresh and delicious. I was telling my fiancé I couldn't remember a time where I was so satisfied with my entire meal. The garlic aioli is to diefor I could only eat half my sandwich and we brought home half the order of the crispy cauliflower. So much food! Great prices, lovely staff. Had high hopes, but ended up disappointed. The location and curb appeal are really cool, and we loved the outside tables. You order from your table using a QR code, which I think is great bc you can take your time, add to your tab, etc. One problem was that the staff wasn't very friendly and acted as though our questions were an inconvenience. Also, I ordered a house salad and was really disappointed. It looked beautiful, lots of pretty colors, but the lettuce and thinly sliced veggies were STIFF. It was very strange! We also got fried pickle spears, and the breading fell off when we would take a bite, plus it was hard to bite through the skin of the pickle. The beer battered cauliflower was very good though. The service and poor quality of 2 dishes are why I'm giving it 2 stars. I hope they make some changes and bump up the service and quality of the food. It has so much potential! read more

Food: Food was good. Nothing special and not really worth the price tag. Service: Service was mixed. There were a few employees who were really nice and understanding but there were also a few who were pretty rude. We asked someone to bus our table and he simply removed the dishes from the table without wiping it down. So we again went up to the counter to ask for it to be properly cleaned. Generally the staff just seemed pretty disengaged. We also saw our food sitting in the expediter window for a solid 5 minutes before they brought it over to us. The staff was just standing there chatting each other up while our food got cold. Wouldn't recommend going here to eat specifically but their drinks are really good. read more

Hate to downgrade but--even though the drinks are great--visited with kids on a weekday for lunch and the place was a bit over 1/2 capacity. Servers and cooks were completely overworked. Food took between 45 and an hour, which meant LOTS of unwanted screen time for the kids. Other tables looked like they had to take their food to go immediately. Please hire more staff as everyone here is very nice but cannot handle the traffic, it seems. read more

My friends and I came here for a little dinner with outdoor seating. Although we had a nice table for 5 outside, we were never greeted, or given water, plates, etc. Half of our order also came out 20 min later than the other half. Although this all happened, the salad that I got was just amazing, one of the best salads I have ever had. I really love Claim 52 when I'm in the mood for something a little extra. Their smoothy beers are so fun and unique. They're always coming up with new flavors, so it's fun to try new things. My favorite fso far is the Creamsicle one (I can't remember it's actual name, but it's awesome!). And their food is so unique and flavorful...the cauliflower...wow! Disappointing in many ways: my mushroom "asada" tacos were advertised as crispy sautéed mushrooms in locally made corn tortillas with pineapple salsa....well, not quite true. The mushrooms were soggy and chewy, so bad that I couldn't even swallow several of them after chewing on them for minutes. The tortillas fells apart and tasted like the store bought Mission brand, seriously, I make better tortillas at home and I am NOT a great Mexican-tortilla-making-princess. There was no pineapple to be found. Very dissatisfied with this dish. My husband ordered a full order of nachos with meat, which never made it to our table. We had to ask for it again after a while, then they still had to "make it", so by the time it arrived we were about done with the rest. The cheese was not melted on the nachos and the dressing/sauce tasted like regular bottled BBQsauce. Service is sparse, no waiters around. Bus your own table, literally had to ask for a fork twice at the bussing station since they don't stock but spoons and knives. We were served one paper napkin with our order of crispy cauliflower bites, ONE..... and had to search for more napkins again at the bussing station. It would have been good if someone would have told us that there WAS a bussing station to begin with, there are no signs anywhere. You order at the counter, then wait for your food at a table...... sorry, but it was so disappointing we won't be back read more

Really nice and friendly staff! They had an awesome selection of adult beverages, ( unfortunately I personally can't indulge at the moment, but I was told they are delicious). With our fries we had the house bbq, chipotle aioli and ranch-- all delicious! I have a dairy allergy and they did an awesome job communicating and were super accommodating! Finally getting around to a review for C52, after my third visit now for as many different menu items. I think first I'll say though.... THICCC beer = NOMZ! I had some anniversary edition somethingorother this time around. It was just plain good. I also had one of their burgers, and it too was fantastic. I'm a big fan of C52.
