The order at the counter process was ok but can take awhile. There was plenty of seating for our late lunch and the food came out in a decent time. The food and beer were delicious. The sandwich was sweet and savory, the tots were crispy and the beer was flavorful. The beer was so good we bought three crowlers to take home. If you're vegan, don't go here. Yes, they have the Beyond meat patty, but the bun has egg. So what you wind up getting is a Beyond patty between 2 thin leaves of lettuce and a small side of fries/tots....FOR $14 +TIP !!! The only topping offered was pickles, ick! When I received my meal, I decided to request 50% off. I was counting on this meal to fill me up before driving to Portland and hadn't eaten much all day because I thought I was gonna get a huge burger. If you're gonna have a Beyond patty, at least have a bun we can eat. There aren't any other vegan options on the menu, except maybe salad (not sure about the dressings). I give 5 stars to the THICCS! They are so good and I love being able to enjoy them on a whim at the downtown location. HOWEVER, when this place gets busy, it's blatant that they're understaffed, So I have to give 4 stars. There was a long line and the cashier taking orders was also the bartender making cocktails. Seems like the owners need to take more time curating a decent paced flow for the line. There needs to be menus closer to the door IMO. The staff is sweet though and the food is awesome! We were excited to see this pop up on Willamette. I love the decor and ambiance--a very open, northwest feel--but the lower ceilings keep the noise down better than Planktown and other similar taprooms. As several folks have noted, the menu is on the pricier side. A lot of thought has gone into it and the food we've had has been pretty good. I really like the turmeric fries. Let me preface my negative review by saying I appreciate the efforts of a few guys on a busy Saturday night, any one thing would not have been rightfully deserving of a one star review, but this was absolute bullshit in combination 1. Their dark beers are not good. The stout tasted like burnt coffee, it was just really unbalanced. Breweries often specialize in certain styles, this isn't their specialty 2. It's really annoying when you say you have a beer on tap, but you're actually out so instead I have to pay an outrageous price for a can that was consumed on prem. Talking about the - again subpar - barleywine 3. After getting our beer, we waited 45 minutes for a little bit of finger food. My wife ordered their bahn mi with grilled tempeh substitute, and I ordered 2 small tacos. The bahn mi was EXTREMELY salty, so much so that neither of us couldn't finish it. It also came to us no longer warm. There was no carrot (almost always found on bahn me - or at least some sort of pickled vegetables) and a small amount of wilted cilantro. Take it off the menu please. 4. I tried to buy one of their special sours, they generally don't sell as a single. They said they only had two left so they could do it for me. I visually saw there was only 2 left in the cooler. Well it didn't get put on my bill. Someone else apparently came and bought it up; and they acted like ‍ Oh well, sorry we don't have any to sell to you. Just an attitude of indifference. That's what really pissed me off the most. They did offer me one of their personal beers to try to make up for it. I appreciated the offer, but I declined: all I really want is for them to have done better in the first place Also, as someone in the industry, the $1 off discount seems pretty sad especially when the beer is as expensive as it was. Unsure of the turnover and why these duds were chosen. 1st bad experience with the new guys and I let it slide. 2nd time they were rude and let my food sit in window for over 8 minutes, at which point I'd also say the kitchen is unaware. Salad was warm & food was cold, actually said something and they said it could be remade but would take much longer cause they just got a bunch of orders. Clearly zero clue on customer service. We came in with a big crew and we had to be split. We got our drinks at a decent time and it came well, but the drinks were not cold and fresh, but the water was warm and tasted like tap water. Then comes the long, painful, dreadful wait, I truly wished I had left when the first few set of tables got up and left when their food hadn't arrived. Once I received my food my burger was borderline disgusting, cold, bland, and tasted like it was out for hours. We paid for our food and just took a couple bites and left because it was genuinely unbearable and made my stomach gurgle. So again, I understand we were a large group, 11 total, but we were split and when our group realized that only certain tables were getting updates as well as complimentary food items is truly annoying. Mind you, it wasn't an out of the ordinary busy, it was busy and it was just a poor mixture of service, food, timing, and poorly trained staff. Then comes the cost, we got charged a tip for a large group when we were split, and we had no service. The only service we got was when we were sat, got our drinks, and got our food. I truly wouldn't go here again, staff was friendly but poorly organized and it's not their fault. If I could I'd request a damn refund for this, I'd save your money and get McDonald's instead, at least the food will be warm and good. read more

This review will take into account both the bar and food service. I would have given the review a 3.5 if possible. The beer is drinks are good and loved their service. The atmosphere is good and the dining area is clean. Its new modern and something Eugene has been lacking and catching up. Food however... service was well a let down. We ordered three appetizer items and they fell short for the most part. The bulgogi tacos were adequate, their drumsticks were okay, but the pork belly buns were a let down. Reason the buns fell was because the pork was the size of quarter and to be quite frank, tasted like a fridge. In short, I'd only order the tacos again. Now, these three items came after 20-30 minutes. After being 2 and a half beers in, and wonder where the food was. Now this could have been a off day. The front house wasn't packed and most people went for what looks like burger and fries. Truth be told I want to like this place, and want to try this place again and see if it was indeed just an off day. But don't take just my review, try it and hopefully it has gotten better! read more

If you like a flavorful, garlicky Caesar salad you won't get it here. The dressing is pretty tasteless, the lettuce was fresh but not real cold, the croutons were good, but don't expect freshly ground pepper. They will bring you a pepper shaker, however, upon request. The added tempeh was pretty good, but you'll be disappointed if you add grilled chicken. The pieces are very small and few, not worth the extra three bucks. The music inside is so loud it's irritating and forces you to eat outside on busy Willamette Street (should have gotten take-out). In summary, this place is a no return for me. read more

And you get like 10 little tots for $11. Are you kidding me...would you pay $1 per tater tot??? The fried chicken sandwich was crispy in and out. Crispy inside as in RAW! I spit it out after the first bite. Chicken was not cooked thoroughly. SERVICE I tipped 18% at the cash registrar out of belief that I would get good service. When took the disgusting sandwich to cashier and told her it was too crunchy inside and that it was kinda raw. She argued with me that fried chicken is supposed to be crunchy inside and out. Finally she reluctantly refunded me for that gross sandwich. But she sure forgot to refund the tips lol read more

However, they ar understaffed and the food has some good food but also some hard misses. 4 stars for the beer 3 stars for the service 3 for the food .
