Don't get acrylics here. My friends and I have been unsatisfied with the service. Everyone is very friendly, and I love the atmosphere, but they haven't done a very good job on my nails. The first time I went in was great, except for a few bleeding cuticles. I went in for a second time for a fill about 2 weeks later and they told me my acrylics couldn't be filled and I would need an entirely new set. Apparently they were lifting off, which probably means the person who did them in the first place didn't do a very good job. It's $55 for a new set, which is too expensive for nails that don't last more than two weeks and can't even be filled. The nail technician was not very gentle, and pulling off the nails was painful. Again, I had bleeding cuticles by the end, and a cut from the nail file on one of my fingers. The gel polish turned out much lighter than it looked when I chose it. She filed my nails down to little stubs and ground so much off the surface of them, they are paper thin. The next day, the gel was already lifting off. Overall, too expensive for poor quality service. read more

I'm torn on my review. The salon is amazing. The people are great. The gel manicure is long lasting and beautiful. But after 3 gel manicures spanning 9 weeks, my nails are destroyed. They are thin, sore little stubs. I've always had strong healthy nails but the gel removal technique they use took off way more than the polish, it ground my nail surface down to almost nothing. It's been a week since I had my last gel polish removed and my nails are still throbbing. It bums me out because I love going, having a glass of champagne and getting a pretty manicure. I won't go back though because this is painful. When I talked to them about it they said I just needed a break from gel and to get a strengthening treatment. If you get regular polish, this place is where to go. If you want gel, don't do it here. read more

This is the only place I will go for a Pedicure. Svetlana, Inna and Tim have given my husband, myself and my daughter excellent customer service as well as fabulous Pedicures! At the new location they are now doing a new type of deluxe, haven't learned the name, but it includes scented scrubs as well as a hot stone message. Came here to get a mani/pedi and I was SO amazed by the great service!!!! Sweetest receptionist--very attentive and great at multi tasking. It was busy but I didn't have to wait at all (I did have an appt). Trent did my nails and toes and it's literally the BEST mani I've ever had!!!!!! He took his time and was very detail oriented! I've gotten a pedicure here about 4 times and each time that was good. I would probably recommend getting a pedicure here; something easy. However, I went to have my shellac manicure taken off and had a pretty terrible experience. The gentleman who was in charge of this task was very rude, I felt like I was doing something wrong by patronizing his establishment. He didn't soak my nails and instead ground the shellac AND my own nail off. I know sometimes they'll grind the shellac off and then soak the nails to get the rest off without damaging the actual nail. Also, there was still shellac in places and over a month later my nails still look terrible and uneven. He said "Go wash your hands and you're done". I washed my hands and when I came back my purse (which was on my chair) had been moved and another appointment was in that seat. It was a weird, rude experience. read more

To begin with, where i live i can get a pedi and mani for about $25-30, the same price this place charges for a pedi. The first thing they are there when you first get your pedi and and seated, is " do you have your file?". I am not familiar with what that meant, that simply means "do you have your own nail file and pumice bar". If you do not have your brought from home bag, they WILL CHARGE you for that. Personally i thought that was a rip off, i understand that is for hygiene and protection of the clients but when not stated to new customers it can create a hassle. The customer service was above average, they offered water and were very polite. The salon was well kept and maintained. I went on a thursday mid day shift, and for a weekday, this place was actually busy. The majority of the nail polish there were OPI and had the standard colors and some up to season polishes. At the end of my visit when i asked them why they did not inform me of the extra costs of the "bag" with the file they responded back to me and said, " we assumed you knew you had to bring your own file". Overall, there are other places where you can get similar service at a reasonable price with clear pricing ranges. read more

I really feel like I'm visiting friends when I'm there and I leave relaxed and with pretty nails and toes. They do take walk ins, but I'd recommend an appointment. They were very understanding and very patient with me and stayed after hours to help finish my nails. They made any changes that I pointed out without hesitation. I had a horrible experience last time I went. I came in to get a partial gel removal done, and they definitely did NOT let them soak long enough so he literally had to peel it off with his fingers. Unprofessional. I had a regular French manicure done. He was distracted the whole time and looking around, talking to other employees. Scheduled a pedicure and when I showed up there were no nail people at work yet. I was ok with this as I had my book and coffee and I relaxed in the massage chair. My problem with place is that no drinks were offered, and when another customer asked about it they said they were out. We were the first customers of the day. Then I received the quickest pedicure ever. No massage and barely any buffing of the heels. By the next day it didn't even look like I had a pedicure done at all. The first time I went to this place for a gel mani, it was amazing! The second time I had an appointment, though, the technician was quite rough on my nails and burned my nail beds with the little mechanical file thing. I bled a little, too, from the cuticle trim. My gel polish began to change color and started peeling from the base of my nails only a few days after the application. Everyone here is soo nice and friendly! Making an appointment was super easy. They fit my friend and me in for a mani pedi appt less than an hour after I called. Best pedi I've ever had. I normally hate going to nail salons by myself because I'm normally met by rudeness, but everyone here was sooooo friendly. The front desk lady even made it a point to remember customers names. The place didn't reek of chemicals, which was really really nice due to the fact that I'm pregnant so it's hard to go to nail salons due to the fumes making me sick. This place didn't smell at all, actually. Joe was my nail technician, and I've never had someone be so friendly and thorough with a pedicure before. I only give 4 stars because I did have one person who cut my food til it was bleeding badly and was on her phone throughout my pedicure. Disappointed in the shellac quality at this place. Usually shellac/gel will stay on my nails for 2-3 weeks until the grow out is too bad, and the entire gel starts to peel off as a whole. I paid double what I pay on Washington state. Not sure if nails are just more expensive here. However for $130 my nails should be perfect. My toenails weren't shaped, then she filed the polish in one spot and just left it like that. My nails are uneven, the thickness is all different, and the shape was anything but uniform. Now that there's a traffic light at Frontier, this place is much more accessible! The space is light and airy, and the pedicure chairs are luxurious and have a super-complex/awesome massage function! I came in and was greeted promptly. My pedicurist, Ina (who seemed pretty new to the establishment), was warm and kind and friendly. She let me read when I wanted to read, and really found way to make a connection with me during our chats. I had a good time here - and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary glass of sangria - perfect for a celebration pedicure at the end of the school year! I chose this location because their Deluxe Spa Pedicure is really reasonably priced at $40 and they're great about accommodating same-day appt requests. So many places are offering "express pedicures," and that was NOT what I was looking for. It was great to find a place that wasn't going to charge me an arm and a leg for a little pampering! I hope they get some sort of receptionist - it was a little strange to be greeted (and have my appt confirmed) by a woman in the midst of doing someone else's nails. I felt like I was intruding on the client's manicure experience, and the greeting was a little brusque because the technician was mostly focused on her own work. Also, Ina hadn't yet been trained on the procedures of checking out a client (in terms of payment), and it was a little awkward to sit through her training experience when I was looking to get out the door. I went in and got a full set of gel nails with black tips (see photos). I was able to be squeezed in a half hour after I came in. I was pleased with my visit, and will go back again. My nails were done by the owner and she knew her stuff. She was able to offer suggestions, but also listened to what I wanted. She could chat with me if I wished, but was content in silence. I probably won't go back. The nice young man tried hard and applied several coats to my fingernails, but one week later they are crumbling and separating. I work on a computer, so don't do heavy work that would merit how my nails look one week later. I think the polish is substandard, and that is most the problem.
